Adi Nadi in Guna Milan: Against Every Other Nadi
Adi is the nadi of Ashwini, Ardra, Punarvasu, Uttara Phalguni, Hasta, Jyeshtha, Mula, Shatabhisha and Purva Bhadrapada: a birth with the Moon in any of them brings Adi to the Nadi koota, which is worth 8 of the 36 guna. Across the 11,664 pairings, 6,480 involve Adi on at least one side; 20.0% of those score nothing on Nadi and 80.0% score the full 8, and their totals average 20.58.
Scores are Nadi guna out of 8; a range means lineages grade that case differently. Adi scores nothing against Adi itself. For Adi the table reads the same whichever partner brings it.
Whether your pairing brings Adi to the Nadi koota depends on the Moon's position at each birth. The Free Kundli Matching tool gives the eight koota scores and the total, which is the headline answer; the Kundali Milan detailed report works the same arithmetic further from your own birth details, and its page lists what it contains.
The rest of the Nadi koota is on the Nadi page; the stars themselves on Ashwini, Ardra, Punarvasu, Uttara Phalguni, Hasta, Jyeshtha, Mula, Shatabhisha and Purva Bhadrapada. For the method, the 36 gunas explained and the kundli milan guide. In Hindi: आदि नाड़ी.
