Ayushman Yoga: Every Day It Held Sunrise, 2026 and 2027

14 days in 2026 · 13 in 2027 · sunrise at New Delhi

Ayushman is the 3rd of the 27 yogas. A panchang names a day by the yoga running at sunrise, and between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2027 Ayushman was the yoga at sunrise in New Delhi on 27 days: 14 in 2026 and 13 in 2027. Twice it began after one sunrise and ended before the next, so it named no day at all (between the sunrises of 24 March 2026 and 25 March 2026; 23 January 2027 and 24 January 2027), and it never held two sunrises in a row.

Ayushman is not among the nine yogas the muhurat filter rejects, so on its 27 days the yoga is no obstacle; the other four limbs still have to pass.

By weekday, Ayushman held sunrise most often on Thursdays (5 times) and least on Mondays and Fridays (3): Sunday 4, Monday 3, Tuesday 4, Wednesday 4, Thursday 5, Friday 3, Saturday 4. Over two years that spread is chance, not a pattern; the weekday and the yoga run on unrelated cycles.

Festivals that fell on an Ayushman day: Akshaya Tritiya (19 April 2026), Diwali (8 November 2026) and Govardhan Puja (30 October 2027).

In the cycle Ayushman comes after Priti and before Saubhagya; all 27 are on the yoga index. For what the five limbs are and how a day’s panchang is read, see reading the panchang and the guide to choosing a day. This page in Hindi: आयुष्मान् योग.
