The arc between them spans 6 padas, from Pushya pada 4 up to Magha pada 1, and Venus crosses every degree of it three times: forward before 20 July, backward until 1 September, and forward again afterwards. Venus is in an enemy's sign in Leo and in an enemy's sign in Cancer.
That arc crosses a sign boundary, so the 20 July retrograde of 2031 begins in Leo and ends in Cancer. The day of that backward re-entry is outside the 2026–2028 ingress table, so this page does not give one.
