The Shukla Tritiya begins at 16:50 on 2 September 2027 and ends at 14:19 on 3 September 2027. The 2027 instants are the same everywhere; only the clock they are read on changes. The rule recorded for Hartalika Teej tests the tithi at sunrise, the default test for most of the calendar.

In 2027 the Shukla Tritiya lasts 21 hours 29 minutes, against 23 hours 59 minutes in 2026 and 20 hours 26 minutes in 2028: a tithi is twelve degrees of the Moon’s gain on the Sun, and the Moon never gains at a steady rate. The day itself runs 12 hours 40 minutes from sunrise to sunset at New Delhi.
The daily panchang for 3 September 2027 gives Shukla Tritiya at sunrise; the day before, Shukla Dwitiya; the day after, Shukla Chaturthi. At that sunrise the yoga is Shubha and the karana Gara. The panchang for 3 September 2027 has the rest of the day.
When the Shukla Tritiya begins, the Moon is in Uttara Phalguni, ruled by the Sun. By sunrise on 3 September 2027 the daily table has it in Hasta.
