Sadhya Yoga: Every Day It Held Sunrise, 2026 and 2027

11 days in 2026 · 14 in 2027 · sunrise at New Delhi

Sadhya is the 22nd of the 27 yogas. A panchang names a day by the yoga running at sunrise, and between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2027 Sadhya was the yoga at sunrise in New Delhi on 25 days: 11 in 2026 and 14 in 2027. Three times it began after one sunrise and ended before the next, so it named no day at all (between the sunrises of 17 March 2026 and 18 March 2026; 6 October 2026 and 7 October 2026; 26 November 2026 and 27 November 2026), and it never held two sunrises in a row.

Sadhya is not among the nine yogas the muhurat filter rejects, so on its 25 days the yoga is no obstacle; the other four limbs still have to pass.

By weekday, Sadhya held sunrise most often on Sundays (5 times) and least on Wednesdays (2): Sunday 5, Monday 3, Tuesday 4, Wednesday 2, Thursday 4, Friday 3, Saturday 4. Over two years that spread is chance, not a pattern; the weekday and the yoga run on unrelated cycles.

Festivals that fell on a Sadhya day: Vasant Panchami (11 February 2027).

In the cycle Sadhya comes after Siddha and before Shubha; all 27 are on the yoga index. For what the five limbs are and how a day’s panchang is read, see reading the panchang and the guide to choosing a day. This page in Hindi: साध्य योग.
