Siddha Yoga: Every Day It Held Sunrise, 2026 and 2027

13 days in 2026 · 14 in 2027 · sunrise at New Delhi

Siddha is the 21st of the 27 yogas. A panchang names a day by the yoga running at sunrise, and between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2027 Siddha was the yoga at sunrise in New Delhi on 27 days: 13 in 2026 and 14 in 2027. Once it began after one sunrise and ended before the next, so it named no day at all (between the sunrises of 15 August 2026 and 16 August 2026), and it never held two sunrises in a row.

Siddha is not among the nine yogas the muhurat filter rejects, so on its 27 days the yoga is no obstacle; the other four limbs still have to pass.

By weekday, Siddha held sunrise most often on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (4 times) and least on Sundays (3): Sunday 3, Monday 4, Tuesday 4, Wednesday 4, Thursday 4, Friday 4, Saturday 4. Over two years that spread is chance, not a pattern; the weekday and the yoga run on unrelated cycles.

Festivals that fell on a Siddha day: Ratha Saptami (25 January 2026) and Nag Panchami (6 August 2027).

In the cycle Siddha comes after Shiva and before Sadhya; all 27 are on the yoga index. For what the five limbs are and how a day’s panchang is read, see reading the panchang and the guide to choosing a day. This page in Hindi: सिद्ध योग.
