Shukla is the 24th of the 27 yogas. A panchang names a day by the yoga running at sunrise, and between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2027 Shukla was the yoga at sunrise in New Delhi on 28 days: 15 in 2026 and 13 in 2027. Once it began after one sunrise and ended before the next, so it named no day at all (between the sunrises of 18 January 2027 and 19 January 2027), and it never held two sunrises in a row.
Shukla is not among the nine yogas the muhurat filter rejects, so on its 28 days the yoga is no obstacle; the other four limbs still have to pass.
