Vishkambha is the 1st of the 27 yogas. A panchang names a day by the yoga running at sunrise, and between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2027 Vishkambha was the yoga at sunrise in New Delhi on 28 days: 15 in 2026 and 13 in 2027. Twice it began after one sunrise and ended before the next, so it named no day at all (between the sunrises of 17 April 2026 and 18 April 2026; 16 February 2027 and 17 February 2027), and once it held two sunrises in a row, naming two consecutive days (22 August 2026 and 23 August 2026).
Vishkambha is one of the nine yogas the muhurat filter on this site rejects, so a day named Vishkambha is never offered as a muhurat day for any occasion; across the two years that ruled out 28 sunrises.
