Vaidhriti Yoga: Every Day It Held Sunrise, 2026 and 2027

Vaidhriti is the 27th of the 27 yogas. A panchang names a day by the yoga running at sunrise, and between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2027 Vaidhriti was the yoga at sunrise in New Delhi on 26 days: 14 in 2026 and 12 in 2027. Three times it began after one sunrise and ended before the next, so it named no day at all (between the sunrises of 24 February 2026 and 25 February 2026; 7 April 2027 and 8 April 2027; 27 October 2027 and 28 October 2027), and it never held two sunrises in a row.

Vaidhriti is one of the nine yogas the muhurat filter on this site rejects, so a day named Vaidhriti is never offered as a muhurat day for any occasion; across the two years that ruled out 26 sunrises.

By weekday, Vaidhriti held sunrise most often on Sundays and Fridays (5 times) and least on Wednesdays (2): Sunday 5, Monday 4, Tuesday 3, Wednesday 2, Thursday 4, Friday 5, Saturday 3. Over two years that spread is chance, not a pattern; the weekday and the yoga run on unrelated cycles.
