Indra is the 26th of the 27 yogas. A panchang names a day by the yoga running at sunrise, and between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2027 Indra was the yoga at sunrise in New Delhi on 24 days: 12 in 2026 and 12 in 2027. Five times it began after one sunrise and ended before the next, so it named no day at all (between the sunrises of 3 January 2026 and 4 January 2026; 4 November 2026 and 5 November 2026; 25 December 2026 and 26 December 2026; 5 September 2027 and 6 September 2027; 16 December 2027 and 17 December 2027), and it never held two sunrises in a row.
Indra is not among the nine yogas the muhurat filter rejects, so on its 24 days the yoga is no obstacle; the other four limbs still have to pass.
