bhava lord
The 6th Lord in Each of the Twelve Houses
Houses here are whole signs: the ascendant’s sign is the 1st house, the next sign the 2nd, and so on round the zodiac. The 6th lord is the graha that rules the sign falling in the 6th, so it changes with the ascendant — Mercury for Aries, Venus for Taurus, Mars for Gemini, Jupiter for Cancer, Saturn for Leo, Saturn for Virgo, Jupiter for Libra, Mars for Scorpio, Venus for Sagittarius, Mercury for Capricorn, Moon for Aquarius and Sun for Pisces. In the Parashari method a bhava lord carries the matters of its house to wherever it sits; for the 6th those matters are debts and loans, service and routine, and enemies.
Each page below takes one placement and works it out for all twelve ascendants: which graha, which sign it lands in, and its dignity there. None of them is a forecast. A placement is one factor; the graha’s aspects, its dispositor and the running dasha decide what it comes to in a chart.
