Krishna Dashami Tithi: Every Day It Held Sunrise, 2026 and 2027
13 days in 2026 · 13 in 2027 · sunrise at New Delhi
Krishna Dashami is the 25th of the 30 tithis, the dark fortnight’s 10th. A panchang names a day by the tithi running at sunrise, and between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2027 Krishna Dashami was the tithi at sunrise in New Delhi on 26 days: 13 in 2026 and 13 in 2027. Once it began after one sunrise and ended before the next, so it named no day at all (between the sunrises of 24 October 2027 and 25 October 2027), and twice it held two sunrises in a row, naming two consecutive days (13 March 2026 and 14 March 2026; 31 January 2027 and 1 February 2027).
Its number, 10, is among the tithis the muhurat filter favours, so on its 26 days the tithi is no obstacle. A list of the days a tithi held sunrise is not a list of vrat days: an observance tied to a tithi is fixed by its own rule, which the festival pages apply one by one.

By weekday, Krishna Dashami held sunrise most often on Tuesdays and Saturdays (5 times) and least on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (3): Sunday 3, Monday 3, Tuesday 5, Wednesday 3, Thursday 4, Friday 3, Saturday 5. Over two years that spread is chance, not a pattern; the weekday and the tithi run on unrelated cycles.
In the cycle Krishna Dashami comes after Krishna Navami and before Krishna Ekadashi; all 30 are on the tithi index. For what the five limbs are and how a day’s panchang is read, see reading the panchang and the guide to choosing a day. This page in Hindi: कृष्ण दशमी तिथि.
