Krishna Trayodashi Tithi: Every Day It Held Sunrise, 2026 and 2027
11 days in 2026 · 13 in 2027 · sunrise at New Delhi
Krishna Trayodashi is the 28th of the 30 tithis, the dark fortnight’s 13th. A panchang names a day by the tithi running at sunrise, and between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2027 Krishna Trayodashi was the tithi at sunrise in New Delhi on 24 days: 11 in 2026 and 13 in 2027. Once it began after one sunrise and ended before the next, so it named no day at all (between the sunrises of 10 August 2026 and 11 August 2026), and it never held two sunrises in a row.
Its number, 13, is among the tithis the muhurat filter favours, so on its 24 days the tithi is no obstacle. A list of the days a tithi held sunrise is not a list of vrat days: an observance tied to a tithi is fixed by its own rule, which the festival pages apply one by one.

By weekday, Krishna Trayodashi held sunrise most often on Saturdays (5 times) and least on Mondays (1): Sunday 4, Monday 1, Tuesday 4, Wednesday 3, Thursday 3, Friday 4, Saturday 5. Over two years that spread is chance, not a pattern; the weekday and the tithi run on unrelated cycles.
Festivals that fell on a Krishna Trayodashi day: Maha Shivratri (15 February 2026), Narak Chaturdashi (7 November 2026), Maha Shivratri (6 March 2027) and Dhanteras (27 October 2027).
In the cycle Krishna Trayodashi comes after Krishna Dwadashi and before Krishna Chaturdashi; all 30 are on the tithi index. For what the five limbs are and how a day’s panchang is read, see reading the panchang and the guide to choosing a day. This page in Hindi: कृष्ण त्रयोदशी तिथि.
