21°22′ Cancer, the 18 July station, is in Ashlesha pada 2, the Capricorn navamsa. 10°02′ Cancer, the 11 August station, is in Pushya, close enough to a pada edge that the pada depends on the ayanamsa. The arc between them spans 4 padas, from Pushya pada 3 up to Ashlesha pada 2, and Mercury crosses every degree of it three times: forward before 18 July, backward until 11 August, and forward again afterwards. Mercury is in an enemy's sign in Cancer.

The whole 11.3° lies inside Cancer, so for the 18 July retrograde of 2025 there is no sign change to date: Mercury in Cancer covers all 24 days.

The arc between them spans 6 padas, from Vishakha pada 2 up to Anuradha pada 3, and Mercury crosses every degree of it three times: forward before 10 November, backward until 29 November, and forward again afterwards. Mercury is in a neutral sign in Scorpio and in a friend's sign in Libra.

That arc crosses a sign boundary, so the 10 November retrograde of 2025 begins in Scorpio and ends in Libra. The day of that backward re-entry is outside the 2026–2028 ingress table, so this page does not give one.
