Saturn Retrograde 2024: Dates, Signs and Stations

30 June to 15 November, in Aquarius

Saturn stations retrograde on 30 June 2024 at 25°19′ Aquarius, in Purva Bhadrapada, and stations direct on 15 November 2024 at 18°34′ Aquarius, in Shatabhisha. Between the two stations it travels back 6.8° of the zodiac over 139 days.

25°19′ Aquarius, the 30 June station, is in Purva Bhadrapada pada 2, the Taurus navamsa. 18°34′ Aquarius, the 15 November station, is in Shatabhisha pada 4, the Pisces navamsa. The arc between them spans 3 padas, from Shatabhisha pada 4 up to Purva Bhadrapada pada 2, and Saturn crosses every degree of it three times: forward before 30 June, backward until 15 November, and forward again afterwards. Saturn is in its own sign in Aquarius.

The whole 6.8° lies inside Aquarius, so for the 30 June retrograde of 2024 there is no sign change to date: Saturn in Aquarius covers all 139 days.

The site’s ingress, nakshatra and conjunction tables run from 2026 to 2028, so for the 2024 window they have nothing to add, and this page adds nothing in their place.

One caution on both stations of this window: both fall close to midnight IST, so another ephemeris, or a listing kept in another time zone, can put 30 June 2024 and 15 November 2024 on the neighbouring day without either being wrong.
