3°43′ Aries, the 9 August station, is in Ashwini pada 2, the Taurus navamsa. 26°51′ Pisces, the 24 December station, is in Revati, close enough to a pada edge that the pada depends on the ayanamsa. The arc between them spans 3 padas, from Revati pada 4 up to Ashwini pada 2, and Saturn crosses every degree of it three times: forward before 9 August, backward until 24 December, and forward again afterwards. Saturn is debilitated in Aries and in a neutral sign in Pisces.
