Aquarius Horoscope 2026: Yearly Predictions for Kumbh Rashi
Published 2026-07-10 | Updated 2026-09-01 | Live Pandit Ji
Four grahas move slowly enough to shape a year for Aquarius (Kumbha Rashi), and in 2026 three of the four change rashi while one does not. Rahu holds Aquarius itself — the 1st house counted from Kumbha, your own rashi — from 1 January until 5 December, with Ketu opposite it in Leo, your 7th; on 5 December the axis shifts to Capricorn and your 12th, with Ketu moving to Cancer and your 6th. Saturn holds Pisces, your 2nd house, for the whole twelve months, turning retrograde there on 27 July and direct again on 11 December. Jupiter passes through three rashis: Gemini and your 5th house until 2 June, then Cancer and your 6th, where it is exalted, until 31 October, then Leo and your 7th — joining Ketu there — for the rest of the year. Everything below follows from those four rows, and nothing below is a forecast about a person.
Where the four slow grahas actually are in 2026, counted from Kumbha Rashi
Every house number below is counted from Aquarius at build time, and every rashi and date comes from the DE421 ephemeris table in this repository — not typed into this page. The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars are left out on purpose: each of them crosses all twelve rashis inside a year, so on a yearly scale none of them is “in” a house at all.
| Graha | Rashi | Dates | House from Kumbha | What that bhava is |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jupiter गुरु | Gemini (Mithuna) | 1 January to 2 June | 5th पुत्र भाव | Children, Creativity and arts, Romance |
| Cancer (Karka) | 2 June to 31 October | 6th शत्रु भाव | Health and diseases, Debts and loans, Service and routine | |
| Leo (Simha) | 31 October to 31 December | 7th कलत्र भाव | Spouse / partner, Marriage, Business partnerships | |
| Saturn शनि | Pisces (Meena) | all of 2026 | 2nd धन भाव | Savings and wealth, Family of origin, Speech and voice |
| Rahu राहु | Aquarius (Kumbha) | 1 January to 5 December | 1st तनु भाव | Personal identity, Physical appearance, Vitality and health |
| Capricorn (Makara) | 5 December to 31 December | 12th व्यय भाव | Expenses and losses, Foreign residence, Spiritual liberation | |
| Ketu केतु | Leo (Simha) | 1 January to 5 December | 7th कलत्र भाव | Spouse / partner, Marriage, Business partnerships |
| Cancer (Karka) | 5 December to 31 December | 6th शत्रु भाव | Health and diseases, Debts and loans, Service and routine |
3 of the four change rashi inside 2026, and Saturn holds one the whole year. That is the whole reason a yearly reading is a different reading rather than a longer monthly one, and it is also the limit of what any yearly reading can say: nothing in this table has a birth time attached to it, so none of it locates an event in one person's life. Rahu and Ketu are the mean node — an analytic formula rather than a measured body — which is why their dates are given as days and never as clock times. Aquarius yearly reading works the same four grahas through the twelve bhavas, and the yearly hub has the arithmetic behind the table.
The nodal axis lies on your own rashi for eleven months
This is the largest single fact available to Kumbh Rashi in 2026 and it is worth stating before anything else, because a previous version of this page did not state it at all. Rahu is in Aquarius — named as a rashi and not only as a house number, because a house number on its own cannot be checked by anyone who does not already know where the graha is. Aquarius counted from Aquarius is the 1st house, the rashi itself, and Rahu is there from the first day of the year until 5 December. Ketu, always six rashis away, is in Leo — the 7th house, the house of the partner, the spouse, the contract and the person opposite you in any negotiation. The nodes on the 1st/7th axis is the configuration classical texts spend the most words on after Sade Sati, and it holds for eleven of the twelve months.
What the tradition reads into Rahu on the janma rashi is amplification without measure. Rahu is the graha of appetite, of the unconventional route, of wanting the thing more than the thing merits; placed on the rashi that stands for the body, the self-image and the direction a life is pointing, it is read as an enlarged sense of one's own project. That is described as productive and destabilising in the same breath, which is unusual for a classical reading and is the honest shape of it: the same restlessness that makes a person unwilling to stay in a settled arrangement is the one that makes them attempt something they had no business attempting and occasionally succeed. It is not read as luck and it is not read as misfortune. It is read as intensity.
Ketu in the 7th is the other half of the same axis and cannot be separated from it, because the nodes are one phenomenon reported at two points. Ketu is read as withdrawal, as the disinvestment of attention from whatever house it occupies — so Ketu in the 7th is traditionally read as a reduced appetite for the other person's terms. Put the two together and the classical picture is of a year in which self and partner are weighted unequally: the 1st house inflated, the 7th vacated of interest. That is the tradition's reading of the placement, and it is a description of a configuration rather than a statement about your marriage, which this page has no way of knowing anything about.
Two caveats belong immediately beside this and not in a footnote. Rahu and Ketu are the mean node — an analytic formula rather than a measured body — which is why every node date on this site is a day and never a clock time. And the houses above are counted from the rashi, not from a lagna: a sun-sign or moon-sign reading has no birth time, so it has no bhavas of yours and no dasha, and it cannot tell you which part of your life the axis actually crosses. On 5 December the axis moves off the 1st and 7th onto the 12th and 6th, which is a genuinely different configuration for the last four weeks of the year and is where the 2027 reading starts from. That reading is the Aquarius horoscope for 2027, which has Rahu in Capricorn and your 12th house, Ketu in Cancer and your 6th, and the axis unmoved from the first day of the year to the last.
Saturn in the 2nd: the year's one stationary fact
Saturn is in Pisces for the whole of 2026 and does not change rashi at any point inside the year. Pisces is the 2nd house counted from Kumbha, and Saturn crossing the 2nd from the janma rashi is the third and last leg of Sade Sati — the phase the tradition calls the setting one. This page names the phase and gives it no start date, no end date and no countdown, which is the same rule the yearly horoscope hub states for the whole site: those need an ephemeris read against a birth chart, not a table, and a number of years quoted at a twelfth of the population is decoration.
What the 2nd house is, is worth being precise about, because the phase gets its character from the house rather than from the arithmetic. The 2nd is dhana bhava: accumulated wealth as distinct from income, the family one eats with, food itself, and speech. Saturn there is read as compression applied to those four — resources counted more carefully than they were, a household under obligation, and a manner of speaking that goes terse under load. That last one is the signification most readers recognise and the one least often named: the 2nd house governs the mouth, so the tradition puts what you say and what you eat in the same bhava.
From Pisces, Saturn casts its classical special aspects on the 3rd, 7th and 10th houses from itself, which counted from Kumbha are the 4th (Taurus), the 8th (Virgo) and the 11th (Sagittarius) — home and mother, joint and inherited holdings, and gains and networks. Those three are in play all year for a structural reason rather than a scheduled one, and the reason is checkable on your fingers.
Saturn turns retrograde in Pisces on 27 July and direct again on 11 December. A retrograde Saturn covers the same arc a second time, which the tradition reads as the same material being gone over again rather than as a different material or a reversal of it. Four conjunctions fall in Pisces — and therefore in your 2nd house — during the year: Venus meets Saturn on 8 March, the Sun on 25 March, and Mars and Mercury both on 20 April. A conjunction, in the tradition, is two significations read together; it is not an event scheduled for a date, and the site's ephemeris table lists all sixty of 2026 precisely so that a page cannot invent a sixty-first.
Career: Jupiter crosses three houses, and the last one is not the 10th
The 10th house from Kumbha is Scorpio, and in 2026 not one of the four slow grahas enters Scorpio at any point. So the karma bhava — the house a career reading would most want to talk about — receives nothing this year, and saying so is more useful than manufacturing a window. What the year does give Aquarius is a Jupiter that crosses three houses on two dated ingresses, and a Saturn standing in the house that ties work to what work pays.
Until 2 June, Jupiter is in Gemini and your 5th house — intelligence, creative output, the things made rather than the position held — and it spends the first ten weeks of the year retrograde there, turning direct on 11 March. On 2 June it enters Cancer and your 6th house, where it is exalted. The 6th is competition, service, debt, litigation and adversaries: the things you are up against rather than the things you own. A benefic at maximum dignity in a house of adversaries is read as consuming that house's significations rather than amplifying them, which is why an exalted Jupiter in the 6th is traditionally a better position for a person in a dispute than it sounds. Three conjunctions fall inside that five-month stretch, all in Cancer and so all in your 6th: Venus meets Jupiter on 10 June at 1.55 degrees, eight days after the ingress and the only Venus–Jupiter conjunction of the whole year; the Sun meets it on 29 July; Mercury on 15 August.
On 31 October Jupiter leaves Cancer for Leo and your 7th house, and the exaltation lapses with it — for the rest of 2026, not for good. This is the ingress every page in this cluster lost — each of the twelve treated exalted Jupiter in Cancer as running to the end of the year, and it does not. Jupiter meets Ketu in Leo on 12 November and Mars meets Jupiter there on 16 November, and Jupiter turns retrograde in Leo on 13 December — a retrograde that carries it back into Cancer and your 6th house on 25 January 2027, exalted there a second time until 26 June 2027. Saturn in your 2nd runs underneath all of that, and the reading the tradition attaches to it is not about ambition but about accounting: the 2nd house is where the question of whether the work pays adequately for what it costs actually lives, and a slow graha there is read as forcing that question rather than answering it.
What none of this does is name a month for a promotion or an examination result. Those are outcomes in one person's life, and a page that reads four grahas for a twelfth of everybody at once cannot reach them. It can tell you that 2 June and 31 October are real dates on which a real graha changes house, and that is a different kind of statement.
Love and the 7th house: the most occupied house in the cluster
Leo is the 7th house from Kumbha, and in 2026 Leo is busier than almost any house in any of the twelve readings on this site. Ketu holds it from 1 January to 5 December. Jupiter enters it on 31 October. The two are therefore together in your 7th for six weeks, they meet on 12 November, Mars joins them on 16 November, and Jupiter stations retrograde there on 13 December. Then on 5 December Ketu leaves for Cancer and your 6th. Four separate ephemeris facts land in one house, which is real content and needs no invention beside it.
The tradition's reading of Ketu in the 7th is detachment rather than conflict — an absence of appetite for the negotiation the 7th house stands for, whether that negotiation is a marriage, a business partnership or a court settlement. Read against Rahu on the 1st, which is the same axis seen from the other end, the classical picture is of the self weighted heavily and the other weighted lightly. Jupiter arriving in the same house on 31 October is read as the opposite pressure: the greatest benefic in the house of the partner is the traditional significator of a partnership taken seriously. Both readings are the tradition's and both are about a configuration. Neither is a claim about a person, and this page will not tell you what happens when they overlap in November, because nobody knows.
On the timing of a marriage there is nothing here, and the absence is the honest answer rather than an evasion. A wedding date is a muhurat: it is calculated from the tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana in force at a particular place, and for anything of that consequence it is checked against the individual birth chart as well. A rashi cannot produce one. Any yearly page that hands you a two-month window for an engagement has picked it, and picking is not reading. The same goes for the family conversations the 2nd house governs — Saturn there is read as putting money, food and household obligation into the same argument, and that is a description of a bhava, not a prediction of a quarrel.
Finance: what the 2nd house is, and what an ephemeris does not contain
The 2nd house is the house of accumulated wealth — dhana, what has been kept rather than what comes in — and Saturn crossing it for the whole of 2026 is the single most relevant financial fact for Kumbh Rashi. That is a signification and this page will state it. The tradition reads a slow, heavy graha in the 2nd as a period of consolidation rather than accumulation: what exists gets counted, what leaks gets found, and the discipline is the point rather than an obstacle to the point. Saturn's aspect on your 8th house from Pisces puts anything joint, inherited, guaranteed or insured in the same frame, because the 8th is the house of other people's money.
This page names no instrument, no asset class and no month for buying anything, and the reason is not caution. An ephemeris contains rashis, degrees and dates. It does not contain asset classes. No graha distinguishes a deposit from a share, so no transit can recommend one over the other, and a transit does not contraindicate anything either — that verb belongs to medicine and it was doing work here it has no standing to do. A page that tells you which instrument to hold has stopped reporting a tradition and started giving financial advice, which is a different activity with different obligations attached to it.
What can be said without crossing that line is what the houses signify and where the grahas are. The 2nd is what you have kept; the 6th, which exalted Jupiter occupies from 2 June to 31 October, is the house of debt, and the tradition reads a benefic there as grinding debt down rather than growing it; the 11th, which Saturn aspects all year, is the house of realised gains. Those three read together are a picture of a year weighted toward reducing obligations rather than acquiring positions. That is as far as a rashi-level reading goes, and it is further than most of them admit.
Health: what a 1st-house node and a 2nd-house Saturn are read as
The tradition's reading here is specific and worth having. The 1st house is the body itself, and Rahu on it for eleven months is read as restlessness carried in the body — an unmeasured relationship with rest, food and pace rather than a named complaint. The 2nd house governs the mouth, the throat and what is taken in, so Saturn there is traditionally read as attention drawn to diet and to speech, which the same bhava treats as two uses of one organ. Saturn is also the graha classically assigned to the skeletal frame, and a Saturn transit is read as a period in which structure asks to be maintained rather than tested. That is the classical reading of these placements, attributed as such.
It is also the whole of what this page will say about your body. No transit has ever been shown to set the date of an illness or the date of a recovery; no sun-sign or moon-sign column has a birth time, a history or an examination behind it; and a page that names a three-month window as the vulnerable one has invented a window that no ingress supports. There is no month here for anyone to be unwell in, no scan recommended at an age, and no claim that a treatment works better in one part of the year than another. If something in your health changes and persists, that is a matter for a clinician, and the reason has nothing to do with where Rahu is.
What the 1st and 2nd houses do carry that is a habit rather than a diagnosis is fair to name, because a habit is something you can decide about on any day. Rahu on the janma rashi is classically associated with overreach — attempting more than the frame supports — and the counterweight the tradition offers is routine: a practice held daily, however small, because Saturn in the adjacent house is read as responding to unbroken consistency far more than to intensity. Nothing about which day you begin is written in the sky.
Remedies traditionally prescribed for Kumbh Rashi
These are the traditional prescriptions attached to Saturn, the lord of Kumbha, and to the nodes. They are given as what the tradition recommends, which is the only status this page claims for them. A practice may be timed to a vara — the weekday — because a vara is a day and this page publishes days. None of them is timed to an hour, because an hour depends on a place and a page read everywhere has no place.
- The Shani Beej Mantra — Om Praam Preem Praum Sah Shanaischaraya Namaha — recited 108 times on Saturdays, the vara assigned to Shani
- Recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the remedy most commonly prescribed in the tradition where Saturn is concerned
- Donation of black sesame seeds, mustard oil, iron and dark cloth on Saturdays
- Feeding crows and dogs on Saturdays — the creatures conventionally associated with Shani
- A sesame-oil lamp lit at a Shani temple on Saturdays
- Service to the elderly, the disabled and labourers, whom the tradition places under Saturn's signification and rates as the most direct of the remedies
- Durga worship and the recitation of Durga Saptashati, the prescription conventionally attached to Rahu on the janma rashi
- Donation of blankets, sesame and mustard oil, which the tradition attaches to Rahu as well as to Shani
- One daily practice held without exception, however small — the classical counterweight to an inflated 1st house, and it needs no muhurat
- A blue sapphire or any Saturn stone only after a chart has been read by someone who can see your birth time — a stone is prescribed against a placement, never against a sign
Timing in 2026: what a rashi can and cannot tell you
This page lists no auspicious dates for 2026, and the reason is worth setting out. A muhurat — an auspicious moment — is calculated from the tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana in force at a particular place and time, and for anything important it is checked against the individual birth chart as well. A rashi alone cannot produce one. A yearly page that hands out a list of favourable days to a twelfth of the population is inventing them, and acting on invented dates is worse than acting on none.
What genuinely can be read at this level is structural, and it is set out above: Rahu on Kumbh Rashi itself and Ketu in your 7th until 5 December; Saturn in Pisces and your 2nd house for all twelve months, retrograde from 27 July to 11 December; Jupiter in your 5th until 2 June, exalted in your 6th until 31 October, and in your 7th with Ketu after that; Saturn's aspects on your 4th, 8th and 11th houses standing all year; and Scorpio, your 10th, receiving no slow graha at all. Those hold for the whole year and do not depend on a date being picked.
For anything that actually needs a date — a wedding, a griha pravesh, a business registration, a naming — have the muhurat selected against your own chart. Our daily panchang tool gives the tithi, nakshatra and the day's shubh and ashubh windows, and an astrologer can match those against your horoscope rather than against your rashi alone.
What this page does not give you, and why
There are no graded months here — no favourable ones and no difficult ones. Over a year the only grahas that go anywhere slowly enough to matter are the four in the table above, and their dates for 2026 are 2 June, 27 July, 31 October, 5 December and 11 December. Five dates. A grade for each of twelve months does not follow from five dates or from anything else on this page; it is produced by picking, and picking is not reading. A dated ingress or station is a fact about a graha; a graded month is a claim about a reader. The yearly horoscope hub sets out the arithmetic — how far each graha travels in 365 days — that makes this the case, and it is also where the site's rule against dating Sade Sati is stated.
The traditional attributions the tradition does assign to Kumbha Rashi are single values rather than lists, and this site keeps them in one place so that no page can quietly grow them: the vara is Saturday, the colour is Electric Blue, the number is 8, and the direction assigned to the rashi is West. That is a convention recorded in classical and later texts, not a measurement, and it does not subdivide — there is no separate colour for career and another for relationships, and there is no second number. For the same four grahas worked through all twelve bhavas, see the Aquarius yearly reading, and for the sign itself the Kumbh Rashi traits page.
A yearly page reads four grahas for a twelfth of everybody at once. It has no birth time, so it has no bhavas of yours and no dasha, and whether a nodal axis on the lagna lands lightly or heavily depends on both. If you want the same four transits read against your own chart, talk to one of our Vedic astrologers.
