Gemini Horoscope 2026: Complete Yearly Prediction for Mithun Rashi

Four grahas move slowly enough to shape a year for Gemini (Mithuna Rashi), and in 2026 three of the four change rashi while one does not. Saturn holds Pisces — the 10th house counted from Mithuna, the karma bhava — for the whole twelve months, turning retrograde there on 27 July and direct again on 11 December. Jupiter passes through three rashis: Gemini itself, your 1st house, until 2 June, then Cancer and your 2nd, where it is exalted, until 31 October, then Leo and your 3rd for the rest of the year. The shape of the year, in dates rather than in moods

A yearly reading for Mithun Rashi has five dates in it and no more, because only four grahas are slow enough for a year to be the right scale to read them at. Those dates are 2 June, when Jupiter leaves your own sign for Cancer and its exaltation; 27 July, when Saturn stations retrograde in Pisces; 31 October, when Jupiter leaves Cancer for Leo; 5 December, when both nodes change rashi together; and 11 December, when Saturn stations direct. From 2 June to 31 October it is exalted in Cancer, your 2nd house of accumulated wealth, family and speech, and from there its ninth aspect falls on Pisces, the 10th house, where Saturn is sitting: that is the one stretch of 2026 in which both slow grahas work your career house at once. From 31 October Jupiter is in Leo, your 3rd house of effort, courage and short journeys, where Ketu already sits; the aspect on the 10th lapses at that ingress, and Jupiter turns retrograde in Leo on 13 December. The year does not close with Jupiter in your 2nd house, and any page that says it does has lost an ingress.

Saturn in the 10th: the year's one stationary fact

Saturn holds Pisces for all of 2026 and Pisces is the 10th house counted from Mithuna. Two things make that a strong placement in the tradition and not merely a heavy one. The 10th is the karmasthana, the house of work and of what is done rather than what is felt, and Saturn is the natural karaka of karma — the graha the tradition attaches to duty, endurance and consequence. And the 10th sign of the natural zodiac is Capricorn, which Saturn owns, so the 10th bhava is the bhava of Saturn's own natural lordship. The classical reading of a slow graha of duty in the house of duty is weight rather than luck: more responsibility, more scrutiny, and less tolerance for improvisation than a Mercury-ruled rashi ordinarily relies on. Saturn left your 9th house in March 2025, so this is the second full year of it. What happens to it next is unusual enough to be worth a forward look — Pisces is your 10th house and Aries your 11th, and both belong to the upachaya group, so when Shani crosses between them in 2027 the house changes and the reading does not, which is where the Gemini horoscope for 2027 starts.

One correction, because this transit is described the other way almost everywhere: Saturn does not hold digbala in the 10th house. Directional strength is assigned by compass direction, and Saturn's direction is west — the 7th house, the point of setting. The 10th is the southern point, where the Sun and Mars are directionally strongest; the Moon and Venus take it in the 4th, and Jupiter and Mercury in the 1st. Saturn in the 10th sits square to both its own directional peak and its floor, so directional strength is simply not what makes this transit matter. The two reasons above are enough, and they are the ones that hold.

Saturn also aspects three houses from Pisces, and the arithmetic is worth doing because it is checkable and because the earlier version of this page got it wrong. Saturn's special aspects are the 3rd, 7th and 10th counted from itself, so from Pisces they fall on Taurus, Virgo and Sagittarius — your 12th, 4th and 7th houses. Gemini is the 4th sign from Pisces, which is not an aspect at all, so Saturn does not aspect your own rashi in 2026 and nothing on this page should be read as though it did. The retrograde stretch from 27 July to 11 December is not a reversal of any of that. A retrograde Saturn covers the same arc of Pisces a second time, which the tradition reads as the same material being gone over again rather than as different material arriving. That is the reading; it is not a warning, and no station has ever been shown to make a decision turn out one way or the other.

Career: Saturn in the 10th, and Rahu in the 9th rather than the 10th

This section used to say that Rahu occupied your 10th house of profession, and it said so five times. It does not. The 10th house has exactly one slow occupant in 2026 and it is Saturn — for all twelve months, with no node beside it. That changes the reading substantially, and it is worth having it right: the career house this year is disciplined rather than volatile, and the appetite the tradition attaches to Rahu is attached to fortune, teachers, doctrine and long journeys instead.

The tradition reads Saturn in the 10th as promotion by workload before promotion by title. Responsibility tends to arrive first and acknowledgement afterwards, the informal working style that suits a dual, air, Mercury-ruled rashi is the thing most likely to be tested, and the fields classical texts associate with a strong 10th-house Shani are the ones with process in them — law, administration, engineering, logistics, regulated professions, anything where a record is kept. That is a reading of a placement offered as the tradition's, not a description of your year.

Jupiter's relationship to that 10th house is datable and it changes twice. From your own sign until 2 June, Jupiter's aspects reach your 5th, 7th and 9th houses and the 10th receives nothing from it — the first-house transit expands the person rather than the work. From Cancer between 2 June and 31 October, exalted, its ninth aspect falls directly on Pisces and the 10th, so those five months are the only stretch of the year in which the greatest benefic at full dignity aspects the house Saturn is sitting in. From Leo after 31 October, its aspects move to your 7th, 9th and 11th, and the 10th-house aspect lapses. Three chapters, three configurations, three dates — and the third configuration is undone early in the new year, because Jupiter turns retrograde in Leo on 13 December and moves back into Cancer on 25 January 2027, restoring the ninth aspect on Pisces and your 10th house until 26 June 2027.

Rahu in the 9th until 5 December is a different reading from the one this page used to give and worth stating on its own terms. The 9th is bhagya — fortune, the father, the teacher, doctrine, and long or foreign journeys — and the tradition reads a north node there as appetite in the house of belief: attraction to foreign systems, to unorthodox teachers, to distance itself, and a restlessness about inherited certainties. On 5 December Rahu moves to Capricorn, your 8th house, which the tradition reads very differently: the 8th is the house of what is hidden, of joint resources and of sudden change, and a node there is read as intensity around exactly those things. That is a placement with a date on it, not a forecast.

Finance: the 2nd house gets an exalted Jupiter for five months

The financial reading follows the same three chapters. Until 2 June, Jupiter is in your own sign and the 2nd house of accumulated wealth is empty: a 1st-house Jupiter is read as expanding the person, appetite included, which is why the tradition does not treat a first-house benefic as a savings placement. From 2 June to 31 October, Jupiter is exalted in Cancer and that Cancer is your 2nd house — the greatest benefic at maximum dignity in the house the tradition files accumulated wealth, family money and the weight of your own word under. That is the strongest configuration this particular combination can take for Mithun Rashi, and in 2026 it lasts five months rather than the seven the earlier version of this page gave it.

From 31 October, Jupiter is in Leo and your 3rd house, and Ketu is already there; the two meet on 12 November and Mars meets Jupiter in the same rashi on 16 November. Jupiter's ninth aspect from Leo falls on your 11th house of realised gains, Aries, for the last two months of the year — which is a different signification from the 2nd house it has just left. The 2nd is what is held; the 11th is what comes in. Both are significations, and neither is an instruction.

Three conjunctions fall inside the exalted stretch and all three are in Cancer, your 2nd house. Venus meets Jupiter on 10 June 2026 at just under two degrees, and it is the only Venus–Jupiter conjunction of the entire year. The Sun meets Jupiter on 29 July. Mercury meets Jupiter on 15 August — Budha, the lord of Mithuna, meeting an exalted Guru in the house of speech and wealth, which is the conjunction of the year most specific to your rashi. What a conjunction is, in the tradition, is two significations read together rather than an event booked for a date; the site's ephemeris table lists all sixty conjunctions of 2026 precisely so that a page cannot quietly invent a sixty-first, which is a thing these twelve posts had already done elsewhere.

What this page will not do is name a thing to put money into, and the reason deserves stating rather than leaving as a silence. An ephemeris contains rashis, degrees and dates. It does not contain asset classes. No graha distinguishes a deposit from a share, a currency from a commodity, or a saving from a speculation — so no transit can recommend one over another, and a page that tells you which to hold has stopped reporting a tradition and started giving financial advice it is not licensed to give. The 2nd house is the house of accumulated wealth and the 11th is the house of gains: those are significations, and a signification tells you where the tradition files a topic. It does not advise, and it does not name a product.

Love, and the 5th house that closes on 2 June

Romance sits under the 5th house, which from Mithuna is Libra, and no slow graha enters Libra at any point in 2026. What the 5th house does get is an aspect with a date on it: Jupiter in your own sign casts its fifth aspect on Libra until 2 June, and after that ingress the 5th receives nothing from any slow graha for the rest of the year. So the honest statement is that the year contains one slow-graha contact with your house of romance and it ends on an ingress date, not that a season is romantic.

The first-house transit itself is the thing worth naming, because it does not return for twelve years. Jupiter in Mithuna until 2 June is read as expansion of the person — confidence, standing, visibility, the willingness to be seen — and from the 1st house its aspects reach the 5th, the 7th and the 9th, which is why romance, partnership and higher learning are all in contact with the greatest benefic in the first chapter of the year and not in the later ones. That is a placement and three aspects, all of which lapse on 2 June.

Ketu holds Leo, your 3rd house, from 1 January to 5 December, and the 3rd is the house of siblings, of effort and of the near circle. The tradition reads a south node there as a thinning of attachment to exactly those — less investment in the local, the familiar and the everyday exchange. Jupiter arrives in the same house on 31 October and the two conjoin on 12 November, which the tradition reads as the two significations held together rather than as one cancelling the other. On 5 December Ketu moves to Cancer, your 2nd house, which the tradition reads as detachment about what is held and what is said. Those are the placements and the dates. They are not statements about anybody, and they cannot be, because a sun-sign or moon-sign page has no birth time: it has no bhavas of the reader's and no dasha running, so it cannot locate an event in one life.

Marriage: the 7th house is Sagittarius, and no slow graha enters it

There is a fact about marriage and Mithun Rashi in 2026 that matters precisely because it is an absence. The 7th house from Gemini is Sagittarius, and not one of the four slow grahas occupies Sagittarius at any point during the year — Jupiter goes Gemini, Cancer, Leo; Saturn holds Pisces for twelve months; the nodes hold Aquarius and Leo and then Capricorn and Cancer. Saturn does not even reach Aries until 3 June 2027. So the house of marriage from your rashi has no slow occupant for the whole of 2026, and no yearly reading can give you a window for a wedding. Any page that offers one has made it up.

What the 7th house does receive is two aspects, and both are counted rather than felt. Saturn's tenth aspect from Pisces falls on Sagittarius for all twelve months, and that is the classical signature the tradition reads as delay, prolonged negotiation, or a partner older, more serious or more established than expected — not as denial, since the same texts read Saturn as delaying what it eventually makes durable. And from 31 October, Jupiter in Leo casts its fifth aspect on Sagittarius, so the last two months of the year are the only stretch in which the greatest benefic and Saturn both reach your 7th house. Until 2 June there is a third: Jupiter in your own sign casts its seventh aspect on the 7th directly, which lapses at that ingress. Three aspects, three date ranges, no window.

A usable wedding date cannot be derived from a rashi in any case. Muhurat depends on the tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana of the specific day, on the place, and on both charts — which is why this page lists no auspicious dates and will not. Use the daily panchang for a first cut and have a knowledgeable astrologer rank a shortlist against the actual horoscopes. On children, the 5th house is Libra and it has no slow occupant in 2026 either; this page names no month for a birth and none for the beginning of a pregnancy, because no transit has ever been shown to set either, and pages that print such windows are read by people who then act on them.

Health: what the slow grahas actually touch

The 6th house from Mithuna is Scorpio, and no slow graha enters Scorpio at any point in 2026. That absence is the main thing a yearly reading can honestly report about the body, and it is worth reporting rather than filling. Saturn is in the 10th, a house of work rather than of the body; Jupiter passes through the 1st, the 2nd and the 3rd; Rahu is in the 9th and Ketu in the 3rd until December.

Two of those do touch houses the tradition reads bodily. Jupiter in your own sign until 2 June is a 1st-house transit, and the 1st house is the body itself: classical texts read a benefic there as protective of vitality and also as expansive, since Jupiter is held to enlarge whatever it occupies. From 2 June, exalted in your 2nd house, the house it enlarges is the one that governs the mouth and intake — which is the tradition's basis for reading a 2nd-house Jupiter as a placement to be deliberate about rather than a licence. Mithuna holds the hands, arms and shoulders in the Kalapurusha scheme, and Budha is the graha the tradition attaches to the nervous system and to the breath; those are the significations of the rashi, stated as significations.

That is the whole of what this page will say about your body, and the reason for stopping is not squeamishness. A transit has never been shown to set the date of an illness or the date of a recovery, and a sun-sign page has no birth time, no history and no examination behind it. So there is no month here for anybody to be unwell in, no window in which a treatment is expected to work, and no month named for a check-up. Whatever is prescribed for you keeps the calendar of whoever prescribes it, and no graha has anything to add to that calendar — asthma and bronchial conditions in particular are managed on the advice of the person who prescribes for them and nowhere else.

A habit is a different matter, because a habit is a decision available on any day of the year. Education: the 9th house has Rahu, and Saturn left it in 2025

The education picture for Mithun Rashi has changed in a way that a page written against an older sky would miss. Saturn left your 9th house of higher learning in March 2025 and now sits in the 10th, so the drag classical texts associate with Shani in the house of learning is off it — and what has arrived instead is Rahu, which holds Aquarius and your 9th from 1 January until 5 December. The tradition reads a north node in the 9th as appetite for foreign systems and unorthodox teachers rather than as obstruction, which is a different reading from either Saturn there or nothing there.

Jupiter's contact with the 9th is datable. From your own sign until 2 June, its ninth aspect falls on Aquarius and the 9th house directly — the strongest slow-graha support for higher and foreign learning the year contains, and it lapses at the 2 June ingress. From Cancer between 2 June and 31 October the aspects move to your 6th, 8th and 10th, and the 9th gets nothing from Jupiter. From Leo after 31 October its seventh aspect returns to the 9th for the last two months. Study tied to professional standing — a qualification an employer recognises, a licence, a certification that changes a title — is what a 10th-house Saturn is traditionally read as rewarding, because the 10th is the house the result lands in.

On examinations there is nothing to report and saying so is more useful than filling the gap. Mercury stations three times in 2026 and those are real dated events in the ephemeris table, but Mercury crosses all twelve rashis inside the year, so no yearly reading can say which house it is in for you. A page that names a month for an examination result is not reading a transit; it is choosing a month. Saturn's seventh aspect from Pisces does fall on Virgo, your 4th house, all year, which the tradition reads as weight on home and on the base — relevant to anyone weighing a move for study, because the classical reading puts the difficulty in the leaving rather than in the arriving.

Travel: the 9th house, the 3rd house, and the date that swaps them

Travel divides between two houses in the tradition and 2026 touches both, on opposite sides of the year. Long and foreign journeys belong to the 9th house, Aquarius, which holds Rahu until 5 December and receives Jupiter's ninth aspect from your own sign until 2 June — so the slow-graha support for distance sits in the first chapter of the year, and the node's appetite for it sits in the first eleven months. Short journeys belong to the 3rd house, Leo, which Ketu holds until 5 December and Jupiter enters on 31 October; a benefic entering the house of short journeys is read as expansion of local and work-related movement for the last two months.

Pilgrimage sits under the same 9th house, and the year's reading of it is the one above: Rahu in Aquarius until 5 December, Jupiter's aspect until 2 June. Saturn in the 10th all year is the reason a yearly page can say that travel of any kind competes with work in 2026 rather than sitting alongside it — the karma bhava is the busiest house in the chart and the only one with a slow graha in it for all twelve months. This page names no month for a journey, and no month for travel undertaken for treatment, because a treatment is not a transit's business.

The nodes: Aquarius and Leo, until 5 December

Rahu and Ketu get their own section here because the earlier version of this page had both of them one house out, five times over, and the error is instructive. It placed Rahu in the 10th and Ketu in the 4th, which is exactly correct for Rahu in Pisces and Ketu in Virgo — where the nodes were in 2025. In 2026 Rahu holds Aquarius, the 9th from Mithuna, and Ketu holds Leo, the 3rd, from 1 January until 5 December. On 5 December they move together to Capricorn and Cancer, your 8th and 2nd houses.

The error was load-bearing rather than decorative: five paragraphs of career reading rested on a graha that was not in the house they placed it in, and a sixth claimed Rahu shared Pisces with Saturn, which it does not do at any point in 2026. That is the whole case for deriving a house number rather than typing one, and for always naming the rashi beside it. “Your tenth house” can only be verified by somebody who already knows where Rahu is; “in Aquarius, your ninth house” can be checked by counting on fingers. Every row of the table above carries both, and it is counted at build time from the ephemeris rather than typed into this page.

The two configurations read differently and the difference is legible. A 9th–3rd axis is doctrine against the near circle: Rahu on fortune, teachers and distance, Ketu on siblings, effort and the local. An 8th–2nd axis, from 5 December, is the hidden against the held: Rahu on joint resources, inheritance and sudden change, Ketu on savings and speech. December is therefore the month in which the year's node story changes, and that is a statement about an ingress date rather than a grade on a month. Rahu and Ketu as used here are the mean node — a smoothed analytic value rather than a body anyone measures — which is why 5 December is given as a day and never as a time of day, and why no shadow crossing of the nodes is dated or given an effect anywhere on this page.

Vedic remedies traditionally prescribed for Mithun Rashi

These are the traditional prescriptions attached to Budha, the lord of Mithuna, and to Saturn in a 10th-house transit. They are given as what the tradition recommends, which is the only status this page claims for them. Worship of Vishnu on Wednesdays, the vara assigned to Budha, with green moong and green vegetables; recitation of the Vishnu Sahasranama; the Budh beej mantra recited 108 times on Wednesdays; the Budh Gayatri as a daily practice. A practice may be timed to a vara. A result may not be timed to a month.

An emerald (Panna) is the stone conventionally prescribed for Budha, set in gold and worn on the little finger, with green tourmaline and peridot as the conventional substitutes — but only after a chart has been read by someone who can see your birth time, because a stone is prescribed against a placement and not against a sign. Weight is given in ratti and scaled to the wearer, so there is no single carat figure that applies to everyone, and the stone should be natural and untreated.

For Jupiter, the observances are attached to Thursdays rather than to a stretch of the year: yellow clothing, a turmeric tilak, yellow items donated to teachers, offerings of yellow flowers at a Vishnu temple, and the Guru beej mantra — Om Gram Greem Groum Sah Gurave Namah — recited 108 times. Thursday fasting is the conventional discipline. Because Jupiter transits three houses in 2026 rather than one, there is no single house these observances belong to, and this page does not assign them one.

Saturn holds your karma bhava for all twelve months, so the Shani observances carry more weight for Mithuna this year than in most: a sesame-oil or mustard-oil lamp on Saturday evenings, black sesame and iron given to those who need them, water offered to a peepal tree, and food or labour given to workers and to the elderly. Service rather than purchase is what the tradition attaches to Shani in every phase, and Gemini natives should not buy a blue sapphire on the strength of a 10th-house transit alone — Saturn is not the natural benefic for this rashi, and the stone is held to intensify a placement the birth chart may not support. For the node in your 9th house the conventional observances are Durga worship on Tuesdays and donation directed at education, and for general balance, meditation on the throat centre and Nadi Shodhana as a daily practice — the classical counterweight for a dual rashi. What this page does not give you, and why

No month on this page is graded, and none is named as fortunate or difficult. Over a year the only grahas that go anywhere slowly enough to matter are the four in the table above, and their dates for 2026 are 2 June, 27 July, 31 October, 5 December and 11 December. A list of good months and bad ones does not follow from those five dates or from anything else in the sky; it is produced by picking, and picking is not reading.
