Gemini Rashifal June 2027 (Mithuna Rashi): Your Ruler Turns Retrograde on Your Own Sign
Published 2026-08-21 | Live Pandit Ji
Everything that matters to a Mithuna reader in June 2027 happens inside four and a half degrees of your own sign. Mercury — your ruling planet, in Gemini, its own sign — spends all thirty days between 3°52′ and 8°21′. It turns retrograde at 11:44 pm on Thursday 10 June, goes behind the Sun from about the 15th, and is exact with the Sun at 1:29 pm on Wednesday 23 June at 7°25′ of Gemini. Then it turns direct on 5 July at 3°14′, having travelled 4°29′ backwards and nothing forwards.
A conjunction of the Sun and Mercury while Mercury is retrograde is an inferior conjunction — Mercury between the Earth and the Sun, not behind it. It happens roughly three times a year, but it happening on your own rashi, in Mercury’s own sign, with Mercury as your ruler, is the sort of coincidence that is worth writing down rather than dressing up.
And the month brings the relief a Mithuna reader has been waiting two and a half years for. Saturn leaves Pisces and your tenth house on 3 June 2027 and enters Aries, your eleventh — one of the three houses from which a Saturn transit is read as favourable. It arrives debilitated, which takes some of the edge off the gift, but the house change is the real news. All 30 days of June are open: no Kharmas, no Chaturmas, no combust Jupiter or Venus.
Your Ruler Reverses on Your Own Sign
Mercury opens June at 8°21′ of Gemini, in the first pada of Ardra, moving forward. It stations and turns retrograde at 11:44 pm on Thursday 10 June, then walks back down the sign, reversing out of Ardra and into Mrigashira at 9:03 pm on Thursday 24 June, and finishing the month at 3°52′ in Mrigashira pada 4.
It also goes dark. Mercury opens the month 22°30′ ahead of the Sun, near the widest it gets in this cycle; the gap collapses to under 12° — the usual threshold for Budha asta, Mercury combust — on about 15 June, reaches zero at the exact conjunction on the 23rd, and is still only 9°22′ on the 30th. Mercury clears 12° again on 2 July and turns direct on the 5th. So the second half of June has your ruler retrograde and combust and on your own sign at the same time.
The practical reading is not that things go wrong. It is that the faculty Mithuna relies on — quick assessment, fluent explanation, being the person who knows — is the faculty temporarily out of service. What works in the second half of June is reviewing, editing, re-reading, returning to something you left unfinished. What does not work is a first presentation of yourself to someone who has not met you. Move that to the first ten days, or to July.
One more degree that will not appear in any other reading. Saturn, from Aries, casts its special third-house aspect sixty degrees ahead, which lands between 0°00′ and 2°18′ of Gemini this month. Retrograde Mercury bottoms out at 3°14′ at its station on 5 July — fifty-six arc-minutes short of it. Your ruler reverses towards Saturn’s aspect point and does not reach it. That is worth knowing, because a great deal of the anxiety of a Mercury retrograde is anticipatory.
Saturn Leaves Your Tenth House on 3 June
Saturn in the tenth from the Moon sign is not one of the three transits the tradition names for difficulty, and it is not one of the three it names as favourable either. What it does is add responsibility without adding recognition — more of the load, the same standing. Mithuna readers have had it since Saturn entered Pisces, and it ends on 3 June 2027, when Saturn crosses into Aries and your eleventh house of gains, networks and elder siblings.
Two qualifications, both honest. First, the date carries no minute: Saturn moves at 0.098° a day at that boundary, so the instant depends on the ayanamsa a calendar uses. Our table says 4:39 am; we publish the day. Second, Saturn arrives in Aries debilitated — Aries is its sign of fall — so the eleventh-house benefit comes from a weakened planet. Expect the gains to be real but slower and smaller than the house alone would suggest.
The relief is also not final. Saturn turns retrograde on 9 August 2027 at 3°38′ of Aries, reverses back into Pisces on 20 October — returning to your tenth house for about four months — and settles into Aries for good on 23 February 2028. So the tenth-house stretch ends in stages, and June is the first instalment of the end. Saturn also spends every one of June’s thirty days inside the Revati–Ashwini gandanta, which makes the first month of the new placement feel less settled than the placement is. The observances are on our Shani dosh page.
Three Planets End the Month on Mithuna Rashi
The Sun crosses from Taurus into Gemini at 6:50 pm on Tuesday 15 June — Mithuna Sankranti, the Sun’s arrival on your own sign — and enters Ardra at 6:30 pm on Tuesday 22 June, finishing the month at 14°31′. Venus follows at 2:35 pm on Monday 28 June, arriving in Mrigashira pada 3.
So the last three days of June have the Sun, Mercury and Venus all on Mithuna Rashi at once, with Mercury retrograde among them. That is a crowded first house, and crowded first houses are conspicuous rather than comfortable: a lot of attention, a lot of demands on your presence, and a ruler that is not in a state to manage it well. The useful version of it is social rather than transactional. Be seen; do not sign.
Venus’s route there is worth a line, because it passes through your house of expenditure. It is in Aries and your eleventh until 00:37 on Friday 4 June, then in Taurus and your twelfth — its own sign — for twenty-four days, entering Rohini at 5:30 am on Saturday 12 June and Mrigashira at 3:41 am on Wednesday 23 June. A dignified Venus in the twelfth spends well: comfort, travel, treatment, things bought for other people. The New Moon falls in that same house at 1:10 am on Saturday 5 June, at 19°42′ of Taurus.
The Full Moon Fills Your Seventh House in a Gandanta Degree
The Full Moon forms at 6:14 am on Saturday 19 June at 3°18′ of Sagittarius, in the first pada of Moola — your seventh house of marriage, partnership and anyone you deal with one to one. The Moon is in Sagittarius from 11:40 pm on Friday the 18th to 11:48 am on Monday the 21st.
That degree is two arc-minutes inside the Scorpio–Sagittarius gandanta — the last 3°20′ of a water sign meeting the first 3°20′ of a fire sign, which the tradition treats as the least stable junction in the zodiac. A Full Moon opposite your rashi is already a partnership month; a Full Moon opposite your rashi at a gandanta degree, with your ruler retrograde on your own sign, is a month in which the other person’s position becomes clear at a moment you did not choose. Listen rather than argue: your ruler is not equipped to win the argument in the third week of June.
Your Chandra Window Is the Shortest Any Sign Gets in June
The Moon is on Mithuna Rashi from 5:50 pm on Saturday 5 June to 6:20 pm on Monday 7 June — 48 hours and 30 minutes. Every one of the twelve signs gets one such window a month, and they are not equal, because the Moon’s distance from the Earth varies and so does its speed. In June 2027 the windows run from this one to Capricorn’s 61 hours and 2 minutes on the 21st to the 24th — a spread of more than twelve hours, and Mithuna draws the short one.
That is not a misfortune, it is a fact about the Moon’s orbit: your window falls near perigee, when the Moon is closest and fastest. What it means in use is only that your two Chandra days are genuinely two days and not two and a half. If you are choosing a moment in June for something that wants the Moon on your own sign — beginning a treatment, a fast, a personal resolution — the window is Sunday 6 June and the daylight hours of Monday the 7th, and it will not stretch.
The Month’s Fixed Points
- Tuesday 1 June, 6:57 am — Venus enters Krittika in your eleventh house.
- Wednesday 2 June, 3:40 am — Mars enters Purva Phalguni in your third house, where it stays for twenty-seven days.
- 3 June 2027 — Saturn leaves your tenth house for your favourable eleventh, debilitated, entering Ashwini. The day, not the minute.
- Friday 4 June, 00:37 — Venus leaves your eleventh house for its own sign in your twelfth, where it stays twenty-four days.
- Saturday 5 June, 1:10 am — the New Moon forms in your twelfth house at 19°42′ of Taurus, in Rohini pada 3. That day’s panchang.
- 5 June 5:50 pm to 7 June 6:20 pm — the Moon is on Mithuna Rashi. Forty-eight hours thirty minutes, the shortest window any sign gets this month.
- Tuesday 8 June, 7:26 pm — the Sun enters Mrigashira, in your twelfth house.
- Thursday 10 June, 11:44 pm — Mercury turns retrograde on your own sign, in its own sign, at 8°21′ of Gemini.
- Saturday 12 June, 5:30 am — Venus enters Rohini in your twelfth house. Rahu changes pada in your eighth the same day.
- Tuesday 15 June, 6:50 pm — the Sun reaches Gemini and your own sign. Mithuna Sankranti, and Mercury falls inside 12° of the Sun about the same day. Panchang for the day.
- Saturday 19 June, 6:14 am — the Full Moon fills your seventh house at 3°18′ of Sagittarius, in Moola pada 1, two arc-minutes inside the gandanta.
- Tuesday 22 June, 6:30 pm — the Sun enters Ardra on your own sign.
- Wednesday 23 June, 1:29 pm — the Sun is exact with Mercury at 7°25′ of Gemini, on your own rashi. Venus enters Mrigashira the same morning.
- Thursday 24 June, 9:03 pm — retrograde Mercury reverses back into Mrigashira, on your sign.
- Saturday 26 June, 4:48 am — Jupiter leaves your second house for your third, entering Magha, and loses its exaltation. Not exalted again until 2038.
- Monday 28 June, 2:35 pm — Venus reaches Gemini and joins the Sun and Mercury on your own sign.
- Tuesday 29 June, 00:38 — Mars enters Uttara Phalguni in your third house.
Week by Week
Thirty days, Tuesday to Wednesday, which gives five Tuesdays and five Wednesdays. Mercury rules Mithuna Rashi, so your day is Wednesday — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 June — and this month five of them is a mixed blessing, because the 23rd is the day the Sun passes over your ruler.
1–7 June
The clearest week of the month and the one to use. Mercury is still direct and still 20°-plus from the Sun; Saturn changes houses on the 3rd; Venus reaches your twelfth at 00:37 on Friday the 4th; the New Moon forms there at 1:10 am on Saturday the 5th; and the Moon comes to your own sign from 5:50 pm on the 5th to 6:20 pm on Monday the 7th. Send, sign, book and present in this week. Wednesday the 2nd and Sunday the 6th are the two best days in it.
8–14 June
The deadline week. The Sun enters Mrigashira in your twelfth at 7:26 pm on Tuesday the 8th, and Mercury turns retrograde at 11:44 pm on Thursday the 10th — on your own sign, in its own sign. Everything that depends on your own clarity should be finished by Thursday evening. Venus enters Rohini on Saturday the 12th at 5:30 am and Rahu changes pada in your eighth the same day. Friday the 11th is the last genuinely clean working day of the month.
15–21 June
The pivot, and it is a double one. At 6:50 pm on Tuesday the 15th the Sun arrives on Mithuna Rashi at Mithuna Sankranti, and about the same day Mercury falls inside 12° of it and goes combust. Then the Full Moon fills your seventh house at 6:14 am on Saturday the 19th, in a gandanta degree. A crowded first house, a burnt ruler and a lunation in the house of the other person: this is the week to let other people speak first.
22–28 June
The centre of the retrograde. The Sun enters Ardra at 6:30 pm on Tuesday the 22nd and is exact with Mercury at 1:29 pm on Wednesday the 23rd at 7°25′ of your own sign, with Venus entering Mrigashira the same morning. Mercury reverses into Mrigashira at 9:03 pm on Thursday the 24th. Jupiter leaves your second house for your third at 4:48 am on Saturday the 26th, and Venus arrives on your sign at 2:35 pm on Monday the 28th. Nothing in this week should be a first attempt.
29–30 June
Two days with three planets on your sign. Mars enters Uttara Phalguni in your third house at 00:38 on Tuesday the 29th, and the month closes on Wednesday the 30th — your own weekday — with the Sun, a retrograde Mercury and Venus all in Gemini and Saturn at 2°18′ of Aries in your eleventh. Mercury turns direct on 5 July; treat these two days as the last of the waiting rather than the start of anything.
Career and Money for Mithuna Rashi
The career news is the house change. Saturn leaves your tenth on the 3rd, which ends a long stretch of carrying more than you were credited for, and arrives in your eleventh, the house of gains and networks — where its pressure is classically productive. Because it is debilitated, read the eleventh-house benefit as access rather than money: introductions, groups, older colleagues who become useful. Your tenth house, Pisces, is empty from the 3rd onward, which is a quieter career month than the last several. Our career remedies page covers the standing observances.
Money has a clear division at the 10th. Your second house holds exalted Jupiter until the 26th, which is the best thing in your chart for income this month, and it also holds Ketu — the two separating from 5°32′ on 1 June to more than 11° by the 30th as Jupiter crosses into Leo. Meanwhile your twelfth house, the house of outgo, gains a dignified Venus for twenty-four days and the New Moon of the 5th. Earning is supported to the 26th; spending is supported all month, which is the problem. And with your ruler retrograde from the 10th and combust from the 15th, June is the wrong month to commit to a figure you have not checked twice. The financial remedies page has the rest.
Home, Family and Partnership
Your fourth house, Virgo, is empty all month, and its lord Mercury is retrograde on your rashi — which reads as domestic matters being postponed rather than resolved. Mars spends all thirty days in your third house, Leo, from 12°49′ to 27°44′, crossing into Purva Phalguni at 3:40 am on Wednesday 2 June and Uttara Phalguni at 00:38 on Tuesday 29 June. Mars in the third is argument with siblings and neighbours, and courage in short bursts; with Jupiter arriving in the same house on the 26th, the last week is the better half of it.
Partnership carries the month’s one genuine caution. The Full Moon is in your seventh at a gandanta degree on the 19th, your ruler is retrograde and burnt, and the Sun crosses Mercury on your own sign on the 23rd — which is a signature for you being more visible and less articulate than usual. For a Mithuna reader considering marriage, engagement or a partnership agreement, the arithmetic favours 1 to 10 June, before the station, and nothing after the 15th. All thirty days are calendrically open, so the constraint here is the transit rather than the almanac. The marriage muhurat page for June 2027 lists the qualifying dates, griha pravesh works the housewarming arithmetic, and the vehicle page covers a purchase. After 6 July Venus goes combust and the marriage calendar closes until 17 September, so the choice is really between early June and the autumn.
Health
The nervous system is the Mithuna weak point and June loads it. A retrograde, combust ruler on the rashi tends to show as sleep that will not settle, a mind that keeps re-running the same conversation, and small errors that cost more time to fix than the task took. Venus in the twelfth — the house of rest — for twenty-four days is the counterweight, and it is a good one: comfort, sleep and quiet are genuinely supported this month if you choose them.
The useful window is your Chandra days, 5:50 pm on Saturday 5 June to 6:20 pm on Monday 7 June — short, at forty-eight and a half hours, and before the station, which makes them the best two days of the month to begin a regimen or a course of treatment. After the 10th, June favours continuing what is already started. With the Sun on your rashi from the 15th, the head and the eyes are the parts that ask for attention.
Remedies for Mithuna Rashi in June 2027
Four conditions: your ruler retrograde in its own sign on your own rashi from the 10th and combust from the 15th, the Sun exact with it on the rashi on the 23rd, Saturn leaving your tenth house for your favourable eleventh on the 3rd, and exalted Jupiter’s last month in your second house.
- Budha observance on the Wednesdays — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 June: five Wednesdays, your own ruling planet retrograde and combust on your own sign. Green cloth, moong, something written and given away rather than kept. The 23rd, when the Sun crosses Mercury, is the one that matters most, and the 2nd — before the station, with Mercury still direct and wide of the Sun — is the one to act on.
- Saturday observance for Shani — 5, 12, 19 and 26 June: the month Saturn leaves your tenth house for your favourable eleventh, debilitated and in the gandanta. Sesame oil, black til, a peepal lamp after sundown. Forms on the Shani remedies page and Saturday fasting.
- Guru worship on the Thursdays — 3, 10, 17 and 24 June: exalted Jupiter’s last month in your second house of income, and its last exaltation until 2038. Turmeric, chana dal, yellow given to a teacher rather than kept. See weak-Jupiter remedies and Thursday fasting.
- Shukra observance on the Fridays — 4, 11, 18 and 25 June: Venus is in its own sign in your twelfth house from the 4th, which is the house of rest and of what you spend on others. White cloth, rice and ghee, something fragrant offered rather than worn. See Shukra remedies and Friday fasting.
- Ketu observance in the second house: Ketu sits with exalted Jupiter in your house of money and speech until the 26th, crossing into Ashlesha pada 1. Something given away rather than stored, and food put out for a dog. See Ketu remedies and our Rahu-Ketu page.
- Finish everything by Thursday evening the 10th: the practical instruction of the month rather than a ritual. Your ruler stations at 11:44 pm that night and does not turn direct until 5 July. What you cannot finish, deliberately postpone; do not attempt it in the third week.
- Keep the 23rd free of decisions: the Sun passes exactly over your ruler on your own sign at 1:29 pm. It is a good day to be quiet and a poor day to be persuasive.
In Summary
For Mithuna Rashi, June 2027 is a month of one planet. Mercury, your ruler, sits in its own sign on your own rashi for all thirty days, confined to four and a half degrees; it turns retrograde at 11:44 pm on Thursday 10 June, goes combust from about the 15th, is exact with the Sun at 1:29 pm on Wednesday 23 June at 7°25′ of Gemini, and turns direct on 5 July at 3°14′, fifty-six arc-minutes above the degree Saturn’s aspect reaches.
The structural good news is Saturn. It leaves your tenth house on 3 June for your eleventh, one of its three favourable houses, ending a long stretch of unrewarded responsibility — though it arrives debilitated, stays in the gandanta all month, and comes back to your tenth from 20 October before settling in Aries on 23 February 2028. Alongside it, exalted Jupiter holds your second house of income until the 26th and Venus takes your twelfth for twenty-four days.
The instruction the arithmetic gives is unambiguous: use the first ten days and review the last twenty. Your Chandra window is 5:50 pm on the 5th to 6:20 pm on the 7th — forty-eight and a half hours, the shortest any sign gets in June — and it falls before the station, which makes it the best beginning the month offers. All of this is sign-level; which of the nine Gemini padas holds your natal Moon, and where Mercury sits in your own chart, decides how much of it lands. For more, read May’s reading, what Mithuna Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our guide to what a retrograde actually is.
Mercury is retrograde on Mithuna Rashi from 10 June 2027
Whether your ruler’s reversal crosses your natal Moon’s degree depends on where in Gemini it sits — Mercury only covers 3°52′ to 8°21′ this month.
