The eighth house is not misfortune, whatever it gets called. Mercury direct there from the evening of the 3rd is when the answer arrives — and on Friday 12 March at 5:00 am Mercury leaves the eighth house entirely for your ninth. Venus Crosses Rahu in the Same House on 17 March

The eighth house is not finished with you when Mercury leaves it. Venus is there too, and at 7:23 am on Wednesday 17 March Venus and Rahu are exact at 24°38′ of Capricorn — the same three degrees of Dhanishta where Mercury stationed a fortnight earlier.

Venus over Rahu in the eighth is the classical picture of an attractive arrangement involving money that is not yours: a facility offered on easy terms, a partner’s funds, a scheme with an appealing structure. It is not automatically bad, but the eighth house is precisely where the terms are not visible, and Rahu is precisely the influence that makes you not look. By 21 March your eighth house holds only Rahu again, and the year’s concentration there is over. That is worth knowing: this is a month that clears out a difficult house rather than filling one.

Your Second House Fills Instead

Cancer is the second from Gemini — money you earn and hold, speech, food, and the immediate family — and it collects three bodies. Jupiter is there exalted and retrograde, falling from 25°32′ to 23°00′. Ketu is there, and the two were exact on Monday 1 March at 25°27′. And at 12:30 am on Wednesday 10 March, retrograde Mars reverses out of Leo back into Cancer, where it is debilitated, joining them inside Ashlesha.

Exalted Jupiter in the second house is one of the better money transits available, and Jupiter holds Cancer only until 26 June 2027 before this particular support ends for twelve years. The other two complicate it in specific ways. Ketu in the second is associated with speech that comes out blunter than intended and with a detachment from accumulating. Saturn Sits on Your Tenth House, and the Sun Joins It

Saturn holds Pisces all month, direct, advancing from 18°49′ to 22°33′ and crossing from the first pada of Revati into the second. Pisces is the tenth from Gemini, and Saturn in the tenth is the transit that makes work feel like weight: more responsibility, slower recognition, and a superior who is exacting rather than generous.

At 6:55 am on Monday 15 March the Sun enters Pisces and joins it. The Full Moon comes at 4:13 pm on Monday 22 March at 7°18′ of Virgo, in Uttara Phalguni. This is the Phalguna Purnima, the Full Moon Holi is counted from, and Virgo — ruled by your own Mercury — is the fourth from Gemini. A Full Moon in the fourth house is home, the mother, and property brought to a head, on a festival day, in a sign your ruler governs.
