Scorpio Rashifal July 2027 (Vrischika Rashi): Your Eighth House Empties Into Your Ninth

Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji

July 2027 opens with three planets in your eighth house and a New Moon about to form there. The Sun, Mercury in its own sign and Venus are all in Gemini for the first half of the month, and the New Moon of 8:32 am on Sunday 4 July forms there at 17°42′ of Gemini in Ardra pada 4. For the sign that naturally owns the eighth house, a New Moon in it is thematically about as concentrated as a month gets.

Then the whole group moves up. The Sun crosses into Cancer and your ninth house at 5:42 am on Saturday 17 July at Karka Sankranti, Venus at 1:42 am on Friday 23 July and Mercury at 6:28 pm on Friday 30 July. Ketu is already in that ninth house, at 19°02′ falling to 17°23′ of Cancer, inside Ashlesha pada 1 all month. So the month runs from the house of crisis to the house of dharma in a fortnight.

Above both, your tenth house of career is unusually well held. Jupiter sits in Leo for all thirty-one days, and Mars — your ruling planet — is in the same house for the first four, at the far end of it. Jupiter is at 0°51′ and Mars at 27°44′, so they share the sign without being conjunct in any real sense. Mars leaves for Virgo and your eleventh house at 4:24 am on Monday 5 July.

A New Moon in the House Your Sign Owns

The eighth house is transformation, inheritance, joint finances, insurance, the occult, and everything a person does not discuss in public. Scorpio is its natural sign, which is why a Vrischika reader tends to be comfortable with material that unsettles other people. A New Moon there is a reset on exactly that: what is hidden, what is shared, what is owed. It is the one lunation of the year that suits your sign’s temperament without qualification.

It is not, however, a day for launching. A New Moon in the eighth is for beginning something private — a practice, an investigation, a settlement, a piece of research — and not for beginning something public. That distinction matters here because the next morning does have public permission: Monday 5 July is the last classically clear day of the 82-day open run that began on 15 April, and Mercury turns direct on it at 1:10 am. Decide on the 4th, act on the 5th.

Mercury and Venus are exact in that eighth house at 2:52 pm on Thursday 1 July, at 3°41′ of Gemini. That is the only exact conjunction between two planets anywhere in July 2027, and for Vrischika it falls in the house of other people’s money on the first day of the month. Mercury also clears 12° from the Sun on 2 July and stops being combust, which for an eighth-house transit is the difference between a negotiation you can see and one you cannot.

Your Ruler Moves From the Tenth House to the Eleventh

Mars is in Leo and your tenth house of career for the first four days of July, at 27°44′ and moving fast. It crosses into Virgo and your eleventh house of gains at 4:24 am on Monday 5 July, then covers 15°27′ in the remaining twenty-six days, entering Hasta at 7:19 pm on Thursday 22 July. Before the 22nd it is in Uttara Phalguni, the Sun’s star; after it, in Hasta, the Moon’s.

The move is an upgrade. Mars in the tenth is ambition on display and it tends to make enemies; Mars in the eleventh is the same energy aimed at income and at networks, which suits it better and costs less. For a Vrischika reader whose chart is ruled by Mars, that shift on the morning of the 5th is the practical turn of the month: from being seen to being paid. Mars in Virgo is meticulous rather than forceful, and in Hasta from the 22nd it becomes more so.

Jupiter stays in your tenth house behind it, running from 0°51′ to 6°54′ of Leo, all of it inside Magha, changing pada into pada 2 on 14 July and pada 3 on 30 July. Those are given as days rather than minutes because a pada edge is a chosen boundary that shifts with the ayanamsa, and Jupiter at a fifth of a degree a day cannot defend a specific minute against it. Jupiter in the tenth is the best career transit a chart carries, and it holds that house into 2028.

Debilitated Saturn in the Sixth — Which Is Almost Good News

Saturn is debilitated in Aries all month, in your sixth house of illness, debt, service and competition, moving only from 2°18′ to 3°34′ — one degree sixteen minutes in thirty-one days. Debilitation sounds uniformly bad and here it partly is not. The sixth house is one of the three places where a malefic does least harm and often does good: a difficult planet in a difficult house tends to work against your difficulties rather than against you.

In practice, Saturn in the sixth is the transit under which competitors lose interest, chronic problems become manageable through routine, and debts get paid down slowly. Debilitated, it is less efficient at all of that, but it is still pointed at the right target. Compare it with the same Saturn in the seventh or on the rashi, where the pressure would fall on you directly, and the placement is a relief rather than a burden.

It clears 3°20′ of Aries around 22 July, leaving the Revati–Ashwini gandanta it entered on 3 June. We give that as a date and not a minute: at 0.035° a day, a two-arcminute disagreement between ayanamsas moves the crossing by about two days, so a published minute would be precision the method cannot support. That crossing is usually when the sixth-house matters stop being vague and become specific enough to solve.

Fifty-Eight Hours of Moon, and a Third-House Full Moon

The Moon reaches Vrischika Rashi at 6:57 pm on Tuesday 13 July and leaves at 5:39 am on Friday 16 July — fifty-eight hours forty-two minutes, well above the notional two-day average because the Moon is near apogee and moving slowly. Devshayani Ekadashi falls inside that window, on Wednesday the 14th, which means Chaturmas begins while the Moon is on your sign. That is a coincidence worth using: the start of the four-month observance, with your own rashi lit.

The Full Moon of 9:14 pm on Sunday 18 July forms at 1°36′ of Capricorn in Uttara Ashadha pada 2, in your third house of siblings, courage, communication and short journeys. Rahu holds that same third house all month, moving from 19°02′ to 17°23′ and staying in Shravana pada 3 throughout. The Full Moon is more than seventeen degrees from Rahu, so it lights the house the node occupies without landing on the node itself.

It falls on Guru Purnima, and the Purnima tithi ends at exactly that instant, because a Full Moon is the moment the tithi closes. A third-house Full Moon with Rahu in the house tends to bring a sibling matter or a piece of communication to a head on a single night — a message finally sent, a conversation that has been circling for weeks. With Jupiter in your tenth on the guru’s own day, it is also a reasonable night to acknowledge whoever taught you your work.

The Month’s Fixed Points

  • Thursday 22 July, 7:19 pm — Mars enters Hasta in your eleventh house. Saturn clears 3°20′ of Aries in your sixth around the same date.
  • Friday 23 July, 1:42 am — Venus crosses into your ninth house, still combust.
  • Sunday 25 July, 3:39 am — Mercury enters Punarvasu; Venus reaches Pushya at 6:44 pm.
  • Friday 30 July, 6:28 pm — Mercury crosses into your ninth house, emptying your eighth. Jupiter enters Magha pada 3 the same day.

Week by Week

Thirty-one days, Thursday to Saturday. There are only four Tuesdays — the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th — which for a Mars-ruled sign is one Mangalvar fewer than you would want. The 13th, with your Chandra window opening the evening before, is the one to keep if you keep only one.

1–7 July

The only week with formal permission in it. Mercury and Venus are exact in your eighth house at 2:52 pm on Thursday the 1st, Mercury comes out of combustion on Friday the 2nd, and the New Moon forms in your eighth house at 8:32 am on Sunday the 4th. Monday the 5th carries Mercury turning direct at 1:10 am, your ruler moving from the tenth house to the eleventh at 4:24 am, Rath Yatra, and the last clear day of the 82-day run. Venus goes dark on Tuesday the 6th.

8–14 July

The week your sign is lit. The Moon reaches Vrischika Rashi at 6:57 pm on Tuesday the 13th, and Wednesday the 14th then falls inside that window while doing four things: Mercury re-enters Ardra at 1:58 am, Devshayani Ekadashi falls and Chaturmas begins, Jupiter reaches Magha pada 2 in your tenth house, and Venus enters Punarvasu at 10:19 pm. Beginning a four-month observance with the Moon on your own sign is the most useful coincidence the month offers you.

15–21 July

The transfer starts. Your Chandra window closes at 5:39 am on Friday the 16th. Karka Sankranti at 5:42 am on Saturday the 17th moves the Sun out of your eighth house and into your ninth, where Ketu sits, and begins the sidereal Dakshinayana. On Sunday the 18th the Full Moon fills your third house at 9:14 pm on Guru Purnima, with the Purnima tithi ending at the same instant. The Sun enters Pushya at 5:35 pm on Tuesday the 20th.

22–28 July

Your ruler sharpens and Saturn clears. Mars enters Hasta in your eleventh house at 7:19 pm on Thursday the 22nd, and Saturn clears 3°20′ of Aries in your sixth house around the same date, leaving the gandanta it entered on 3 June. Venus crosses into your ninth at 1:42 am on Friday the 23rd, still combust. Mercury enters Punarvasu on Sunday the 25th and Venus reaches Pushya that evening. A good week for income and for detailed work; a poor one for a purchase.

29–31 July

Three days that finish the handover. Mercury crosses into your ninth house at 6:28 pm on Friday the 30th, so your eighth house ends the month empty and your ninth holds the Sun, Venus, Mercury and Ketu. Jupiter reaches Magha pada 3 in your tenth on the 30th as well. Nothing here needs launching; the useful thing is to notice that the month began in the house of crisis and ends in the house of meaning.

Career and Money for Vrischika Rashi

Career has the month’s best structural support and none of its urgency. Jupiter holds your tenth house for all thirty-one days and into 2028, which is the transit under which reputation grows without being chased. Mars, your ruler, adds four days of direct ambition to that house and then leaves on the 5th for your eleventh, where it works on income instead. The reading is that position improves through the year and money improves this month. See our career remedies page.

Money has two separate threads. The eleventh house gains Mars from the 5th, which is active, direct earning — work done and paid for. The eighth house holds three planets for the first half of the month, which is passive, shared money — a settlement, a claim, a family asset, a loan. Both are live in July, and the eighth-house thread benefits particularly from Mercury turning direct at 1:10 am on the 5th, because that is the planet that governs the paperwork of it. See the financial remedies page.

One caution. Venus is combust from 6 July to 17 September, and it spends the first three weeks of the month in your eighth house — the house of other people’s money. A combust Venus there is a poor signature for valuing anything: an asset, a settlement offer, a piece of jewellery being divided. Do the arithmetic and ignore the impression. The business and property muhurat page for July 2027 shows what the closures leave.

Home, Family and Partnership

Your fourth house is Aquarius and empty all month, and its ruler Saturn sits debilitated in your sixth — which, as above, is not a bad place for it. So the home is quiet this month. What is active is the third house, which takes the Full Moon of the 18th with Rahu in it: siblings, neighbours, and the messages you send. Expect one relationship at that level to become clear on the 18th, for better or worse.

Partnership: your seventh house is Taurus, empty all month, and its ruler Venus is combust from the 6th while transiting your eighth house. That combination — the marriage lord invisible, in the house of hidden things — is why July is a poor month for a decision about a relationship and a reasonable one for understanding it. If a date is being negotiated, the calendar has already answered: the 82-day open run ends on 5 July because Venus goes dark on the 6th, and Chaturmas begins on the 14th and runs to 10 November. The marriage muhurat page for July 2027 sets out the arithmetic, and our page on delay is for readers this frustrates.

The ninth house filling up from the 17th is worth noting for family reasons too: the ninth is the father, and three planets crossing into it behind Ketu suggests a paternal or elder matter coming into focus in the second half of the month. With the Sun there and Ketu already present, it is more likely to be a conversation about legacy than about crisis.

Health

The sixth house is the house of illness and Saturn is in it, debilitated, all month. As above, a malefic in the sixth works more for you than against you: chronic conditions respond to routine, and the things that have been nagging tend to become manageable rather than worse. It clears 3°20′ around the 22nd, which usually corresponds to a diagnosis becoming specific enough to act on.

Mars leaves your tenth house on the 5th, which for most Vrischika readers registers as a drop in tension rather than in energy. Use the Chandra window for anything beginning: 6:57 pm on 13 July to 5:39 am on 16 July, fifty-eight hours forty-two minutes. Devshayani Ekadashi falls inside it. Starting a fast, a routine or a treatment on the day Chaturmas begins, with the Moon on your own sign, is the strongest combination the month offers. Brahma muhurta practice suits it.

Remedies for Vrischika Rashi in July 2027

Four conditions define the month: a New Moon in your eighth house on the 4th, your ruler moving from the tenth to the eleventh on the 5th, Jupiter in your tenth throughout, and debilitated Saturn in your sixth — a difficult planet in a house where it does comparatively little harm.

  • Mangal observance on the Tuesdays — 6, 13, 20 and 27 July: Mars rules Vrischika Rashi and changes house on the 5th. Only four Mangalvars this month. Red cloth, jaggery, masoor dal, Hanuman Chalisa. The 13th, with your Chandra window open, is the strongest. See Mangal remedies, Tuesday fasting and the Mangal dosh page.
  • Guru worship on the Thursdays — 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 July: Jupiter holds your tenth house of career all month and into 2028, and Guru Purnima falls on the 18th. Five Thursdays. Turmeric, chana dal, yellow given to a teacher rather than kept. See weak-Jupiter remedies and Thursday fasting.
  • Devshayani Ekadashi on Wednesday 14 July: Chaturmas begins while the Moon is on your own sign, which happens rarely. If you keep one observance in the whole four months, begin it here.
  • Shani observance on the Saturdays — 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 July: Saturn is debilitated in your sixth house of illness and debt, and inside a gandanta until about the 22nd. Sesame oil, black til, a peepal lamp after sundown, and something given to someone who serves you. See Shani remedies and Saturday fasting.
  • Shukra observance on the Fridays — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 July: Venus rules your seventh and twelfth houses and is combust from the 6th while transiting your eighth. White cloth, rice and ghee, nothing valuable bought or valued on impression. See Shukra remedies and Friday fasting.
  • Use the New Moon of 4 July privately: a New Moon in the eighth house is for beginning something unseen — a practice, an investigation, a settlement — and not for anything public. The public thing belongs to the 5th.
  • Keep the Chandra window clear — 13 to 16 July: fifty-eight hours forty-two minutes with Ekadashi inside it. The best stretch of the month by a clear margin.

In Summary

July 2027 moves Vrischika Rashi from the eighth house to the ninth. It begins with the Sun, Mercury and Venus in your eighth and a New Moon forming there at 8:32 am on Sunday 4 July — the house your sign naturally owns. Across the next fortnight all three cross into your ninth: the Sun at 5:42 am on 17 July, Venus on the 23rd, Mercury on the 30th, all arriving behind a Ketu that has been there all along.

Your ruler makes the month’s other useful move, out of your tenth house and into your eleventh at 4:24 am on Monday 5 July, where it stays for twenty-six days and enters Hasta on the 22nd. Jupiter holds the tenth behind it for all thirty-one days. Saturn sits debilitated in your sixth house — the least damaging place a weak malefic can be — and clears 3°20′ of Aries around 22 July.

The two dates to hold are Monday 5 July, the last classically clear day of an 82-day run, with Mercury turning direct on it at 1:10 am; and Wednesday 14 July, when Chaturmas begins with the Moon on your own sign. Everything formal belongs before the 6th; everything sustained belongs to the 14th. As always this is sign-level: which of the nine Scorpio padas holds your natal Moon, and where Mars sits in your own chart, decides how much of it lands. For more, read June’s reading, what Vrischika Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our page on Mangal dosh.

A New Moon in your eighth house on 4 July 2027

What an eighth-house lunation actually opens depends on which of your padas holds the natal Moon and where Mars sits in your own chart — a sign-level reading cannot tell you that.
