Taurus Horoscope 2026: Complete Yearly Prediction for Vrishabh Rashi

Published 2026-07-10 | Updated 2026-09-01 | Live Pandit Ji

Four grahas move slowly enough to shape a year for Taurus (Vrishabha Rashi), and in 2026 three of the four change rashi while one does not. Saturn holds Pisces — the 11th house counted from Vrishabha, the labhasthana — for the whole twelve months, turning retrograde there on 27 July and direct again on 11 December. Jupiter passes through three rashis: Gemini and your 2nd house until 2 June, then Cancer and your 3rd, where it is exalted, until 31 October, then Leo and your 4th for the rest of the year. Rahu holds Aquarius, your 10th house, until 5 December, when it moves to Capricorn and your 9th; Ketu sits opposite it in Leo, your 4th, until the same date, and then in Cancer and your 3rd. Everything below follows from those four rows, and nothing below is a forecast about a person.

Where the four slow grahas actually are in 2026, counted from Vrishabha Rashi

Every house number below is counted from Taurus at build time, and every rashi and date comes from the DE421 ephemeris table in this repository — not typed into this page. The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars are left out on purpose: each of them crosses all twelve rashis inside a year, so on a yearly scale none of them is “in” a house at all.

3 of the four change rashi inside 2026, and Saturn holds one the whole year. That is the whole reason a yearly reading is a different reading rather than a longer monthly one, and it is also the limit of what any yearly reading can say: nothing in this table has a birth time attached to it, so none of it locates an event in one person's life. Rahu and Ketu are the mean node — an analytic formula rather than a measured body — which is why their dates are given as days and never as clock times. Taurus yearly reading works the same four grahas through the twelve bhavas, and the yearly hub has the arithmetic behind the table.

The shape of the year, in dates rather than in moods

A yearly reading for Vrishabh Rashi has five dates in it and no more, because only four grahas are slow enough for a year to be the right scale to read them at. Those dates are 2 June, when Jupiter enters Cancer and its exaltation; 27 July, when Saturn stations retrograde in Pisces; 31 October, when Jupiter leaves Cancer for Leo; 5 December, when both nodes change rashi together; and 11 December, when Saturn stations direct. The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars each cross all twelve rashis inside twelve months, so on a yearly scale none of them is in a house at all — which is why the table above has four rows, and why this page names no house for Venus even though Shukra rules your rashi.

What those five dates give you is three chapters, not two halves and not four quarters. Until 2 June, Jupiter is in Gemini and your 2nd house of accumulated wealth, family and speech, retrograde when the year opens and turning direct on 11 March. From 2 June to 31 October it is exalted in Cancer, your 3rd house of effort, courage, communication and short journeys, and from there its ninth aspect falls on Pisces — the 11th house, where Saturn is sitting — so for those five months the two slow grahas do work the same house. From 31 October it is in Leo, your 4th house of home, mother and property, where Ketu already sits; the aspect on the 11th lapses at that ingress, and Jupiter turns retrograde in Leo on 13 December — a retrograde that carries it back into Cancer on 25 January 2027, restoring both the exaltation and the aspect on your 11th until 26 June 2027. That third chapter is what the earlier version of this page did not have.

Saturn in the 11th: the year's one stationary fact

Saturn holds Pisces for all of 2026 and Pisces is the 11th house counted from Vrishabha. Classical texts count the 11th among the four upachaya houses — the 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th — in which a slow and difficult graha is held to build rather than obstruct, and of the four the 11th is the one whose signification is the friendliest: labha, gain, the realised return, and with it social circles, elder siblings, professional bodies and the people who can put a name forward. That is the tradition's reading of the placement, and it is the single most stable thing in your chart this year, because unlike the other three slow grahas Saturn does not move rashi at all.

Two consequences follow that are worth stating plainly. The first is that Saturn left Aquarius, your 10th house, in March 2025, which means the years of carrying professional weight without a visible return are structurally behind you — the graha has moved from the house of the work to the house of what the work returns. The second is that the 11th is a house of accumulation rather than of speed: a slow graha there is read as returns arriving on things set in motion years earlier, not as new things arriving quickly.

Saturn also aspects three houses from Pisces, and the arithmetic is worth doing because it is checkable. Saturn's special aspects are the 3rd, 7th and 10th counted from itself, so from the 11th house they fall on the 1st, the 5th and the 8th — Taurus itself, Virgo and Sagittarius. The aspect back onto your own rashi is why a year that goes well on paper can still be physically tiring: the tradition reads Saturn on the 1st house, even by aspect, as weight on the body and on the stamina rather than on the circumstances. The 7th house, Scorpio, receives no Saturn aspect at any point in 2026.

The retrograde stretch from 27 July to 11 December is not a reversal of any of that. A retrograde Saturn covers the same arc of Pisces a second time, which the tradition reads as the same material being gone over again rather than as different material arriving. The earlier version of this page told readers not to change jobs during that window; the honest version of the same observation is that a retrograde graha is traditionally associated with revisiting, and that no station has ever been shown to make a decision turn out one way or the other.

Career: the 10th house holds Rahu, not Saturn

The career picture for 2026 changes shape once the nodes are put in the right houses. Rahu holds Aquarius, the 10th house from Vrishabha, from 1 January until 5 December — so the karma bhava, the house of visible work and public standing, has the north node in it for eleven months of the year and no other slow graha at all. The tradition reads Rahu in the 10th as appetite in the house of career: unconventional routes, sudden elevation, visibility out of proportion to tenure, and an amplification that is unmeasured rather than restrained. On 5 December Rahu moves to Capricorn, your 9th house of fortune, teachers and long journeys, and the 10th is left empty for the last weeks of the year.

Jupiter's relationship to that same 10th house is datable and it changes twice. From Gemini and your 2nd house until 2 June, Jupiter's ninth aspect falls on Aquarius — your 10th — so for the first five months the greatest benefic and the north node are looking at the same house of work. From Cancer and your 3rd between 2 June and 31 October, exalted, the aspects move to your 7th, 9th and 11th, and the 10th receives nothing from Jupiter. From Leo and your 4th after 31 October, its seventh aspect returns to Aquarius and the 10th house for the last two months. Those are placements and aspects with dates on them, which is a different kind of statement from a promotion schedule.

For work of the kind the 3rd house governs the exalted stretch is the strongest slow-graha support 2026 offers, and it is Jupiter's own placement rather than an aspect: the 3rd is the house of parakrama, of effort and initiative and the willingness to ask, and it is also the house of speech that travels — negotiation, pitching, teaching by demonstration, short journeys for work. Vrishabha natives working in Venus-governed fields, which classical texts take to include hospitality, design, the arts, food and anything to do with provision and comfort, are looking at their own significations through a 2nd-house Jupiter for five months and a 3rd-house one for five more.

Three conjunctions fall inside the exalted stretch and all three are in Cancer, your 3rd house. Venus meets Jupiter on 10 June 2026 at just under two degrees — Shukra, the lord of Vrishabha, meeting an exalted Guru, and the only Venus–Jupiter conjunction of the entire year. The Sun meets Jupiter on 29 July, and Mercury on 15 August. A fourth falls after the Leo ingress: Mars meets Jupiter on 16 November in Leo, your 4th house, four days after Jupiter meets Ketu there. What a conjunction is, in the tradition, is two significations read together rather than an event booked for a date; the site's ephemeris table lists all sixty conjunctions of 2026 precisely so that a page cannot quietly invent a sixty-first.

Finance: the 11th house, and what an ephemeris does not contain

The financial reading for 2026 comes out of two rows of the table and neither of them is a month. Saturn is in your 11th house of realised gain for all twelve months, which is the classical position for returns arriving slowly on effort already spent. Jupiter is in your 2nd house of accumulated wealth, family money and speech until 2 June, which is the house the tradition files savings and inherited or family funds under. Between 2 June and 31 October the exalted 3rd-house Jupiter aspects the 11th directly, so that is the one stretch of the year in which the greatest benefic at full dignity looks at the house of gain while Saturn sits in it. On 31 October that aspect lapses — and it comes back, because Jupiter retrogrades into Cancer again on 25 January 2027 and holds the 11th under the same aspect until 26 June 2027.

What this page will not do is name a thing to put money into, and the reason deserves to be stated rather than left as a silence. An ephemeris contains rashis, degrees and dates. It does not contain asset classes. No graha distinguishes a deposit from a share, a building from a bond, or a saving from a speculation — so no transit can recommend one over another, and a page that tells you which to hold has stopped reporting a tradition and started giving financial advice it is not qualified or licensed to give. The 2nd house is the house of accumulated wealth and the 11th is the house of gains: those are significations, and a signification tells you where the tradition files a topic. It does not advise.

Rahu in the 10th rather than the 11th changes the reading in a way worth naming, because the earlier version of this page had it in the house of gains and drew a conclusion from that. With Rahu in Aquarius and the 10th, the node's appetite is attached to standing and visibility rather than to income; the 11th house belongs to Saturn alone, and Saturn in a house of gain is read as slow, earned and durable rather than as sudden. Those two readings pull in opposite directions, and describing the tension is the honest limit of what a yearly page can do with it.

Ketu in the 4th house, Leo, until 5 December is the other half of that axis, and the 4th is the house of home, property, vehicles and the mother. The tradition reads a south node in the 4th as thinning of attachment to the base — less interest in the fixed asset, more willingness to move. From 31 October, Jupiter joins Ketu there and the two meet on 12 November. From 5 December Ketu moves to Cancer, your 3rd house, and Jupiter is left alone in the 4th. This page states those placements and their dates; it does not tell you when to buy a house, because no graha has ever been shown to know the price of one.

Love and the 4th house: Ketu, and then Jupiter beside it

The 4th house from Vrishabha is Leo, and in 2026 it is the busiest house in your chart. Ketu holds it from 1 January to 5 December, Jupiter arrives on 31 October, they conjoin on 12 November, Mars meets Jupiter there on 16 November, and Jupiter turns retrograde in Leo on 13 December. The 4th is not the house of romance — that is the 5th, and no slow graha enters Virgo at any point in 2026 — but it is the house of domestic life, of the home a relationship is conducted in, and of the mother, so it carries most of what a yearly reading can honestly say about the private side of the year.

The tradition reads Ketu in the 4th as restlessness at home rather than trouble in a relationship: a thinning of the pull the base normally exerts, and with it a tendency to be less present in it. Jupiter arriving in the same house at the end of October is read as expansion of exactly what Ketu had been thinning, which is why the two significations are worth holding together rather than netting off. That is what the tradition says about the placements. It is not a statement about anybody, and it cannot be, because a sun-sign or moon-sign page has no birth time: it has no bhavas of the reader's and no dasha running, so it cannot locate an event in one life.

What can be dated is the aspect on the 7th house of partnership. From Cancer between 2 June and 31 October, exalted Jupiter casts its fifth aspect on Scorpio, your 7th — the only slow-graha contact the 7th house receives in the whole of 2026. Classical texts read a benefic aspect on the 7th as support for the significations of partnership, contract and the other party. It begins on 2 June and it pauses on 31 October — pauses rather than closes, because Jupiter retrogrades back into Cancer on 25 January 2027 and the aspect on your 7th comes back with it until 26 June 2027 — and those are ingress dates from the ephemeris rather than a mood assigned to a season.

Marriage: the 7th house is Scorpio, and it is empty all year

There is a fact about marriage and Vrishabh Rashi in 2026 that matters precisely because it is an absence. The 7th house from Taurus is Scorpio, and not one of the four slow grahas touches Scorpio at any point during the year — Jupiter goes Gemini, Cancer, Leo; Saturn holds Pisces for twelve months; the nodes hold Aquarius and Leo and then Capricorn and Cancer. Saturn does not even reach Aries until 3 June 2027. So the house of marriage from your rashi has no slow occupant for the whole of 2026, and a yearly reading therefore has nothing at all to say about the timing of a marriage this year. Any page that offers you a window for one has made it up, and the honest form of an absence is to say that nothing has been shown.

Two things can be said instead, and both are counted rather than felt. The first is the Jupiter aspect described above: exalted Jupiter's fifth aspect reaches Scorpio between 2 June and 31 October and at no other time in the year. The second is a Saturn absence: from Pisces, Saturn's 3rd, 7th and 10th aspects fall on Taurus, Virgo and Sagittarius — your 1st, 5th and 8th houses — so the 7th receives nothing from Saturn either. That matters because Saturn on or aspecting the 7th is the most commonly cited astrological account of delayed matchmaking, and for Taurus in 2026 it simply does not apply.

A usable wedding date cannot be derived from a rashi in any case. Muhurat depends on the tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana of the specific day, on the place, and on both charts — which is why this page lists no auspicious dates and will not. Use the daily panchang for a first cut and have a pandit rank a shortlist against the actual kundlis. On children, the 5th house from Vrishabha is Virgo and no slow graha enters it in 2026; it receives Saturn's seventh aspect from Pisces all year and nothing from Jupiter. This page names no month for a birth and none for the beginning of a pregnancy, because no transit has ever been shown to set either.

Health: what the slow grahas actually touch

The honest health section for a yearly page is short, and this one is short for a reason that is worth giving. Saturn is in the 11th house, which is not a house of the body at all; Jupiter passes through the 2nd, the 3rd and the 4th, none of which is the 6th house of disease; Rahu is in the 10th and Ketu in the 4th until December. So no slow graha occupies a house of the body from Vrishabha at any point in 2026, and that absence is the main thing a yearly reading can report.

One aspect does reach a house that classical texts read bodily, and it is worth counting rather than asserting. Saturn's special aspects are the 3rd, 7th and 10th from itself, so from Pisces they fall on Taurus, Virgo and Sagittarius — your 1st, 5th and 8th houses. The one on your own rashi is the relevant one: the 1st house is the body and its stamina, and that aspect is the tradition's basis for reading a favourable Saturn year as nonetheless a tiring one. The complaints conventionally associated with Shani are the joints, the knees, the teeth and the bones, and the classical reading of them under a slow transit is accumulation rather than onset. Your 6th house of illness, competition and debt is Libra, and it holds no slow graha in 2026 and receives no Saturn aspect at all; the only slow contact it gets is Jupiter's fifth aspect from Gemini, which lapses on 2 June. Jupiter in the 2nd house until that date is the other note worth having: the 2nd governs the mouth, intake and the throat, Vrishabha is the rashi of the face, neck and throat in the Kalapurusha scheme, and Jupiter is read as expanding whatever it occupies.

That is the whole of what this page will say about your body. A transit has never been shown to set the date of an illness or the date of a recovery, and a sun-sign page has no birth time, no history and no examination behind it. So there is no month here for anybody to be unwell in, no window for a treatment to work in, and no month named for a check-up: whatever is prescribed for you keeps the calendar of whoever prescribes it, and no graha has anything to add to that calendar. A habit is a different matter, because a habit is a decision available on any day of the year, and the classical counterweight for a fixed earth rashi is movement that is regular rather than occasional.

Education: the 2nd house first, then the 3rd, then the 4th

Study in 2026 sits under whichever house Jupiter occupies, and that changes on 2 June and again on 31 October. Jupiter in Gemini and your 2nd house until 2 June is the placement classical texts attach to learning by articulation — recitation, languages, anything held in the memory and produced by speaking. Note that it is retrograde there when the year opens and turns direct on 11 March, which the tradition reads as the same ground covered twice rather than as new ground.

From 2 June, exalted in Cancer and your 3rd house, the emphasis moves to skill acquired by repetition: technical training, certification, practical craft, anything learned by doing it again rather than by understanding it once. From 31 October, in Leo and your 4th, it moves to formal and institutional study and to the place the study happens in, since the 4th is the house of the base. The 9th house of higher and foreign learning is Capricorn, which holds no slow graha until Rahu arrives there on 5 December; it receives Jupiter's seventh aspect from Cancer between 2 June and 31 October and nothing else in the year.

On the fast grahas and examinations there is nothing to report, and saying so is more useful than filling the gap. Mercury stations three times in 2026 and those are real dated events in the ephemeris table, but Mercury crosses all twelve rashis inside the year, so no yearly reading can say which house it is in for you. A page that names a month for an examination result is not reading a transit; it is choosing a month.

Travel: the 3rd house, the 9th house, and the date that changes them

Travel divides between two houses in the tradition and 2026 touches both. Short journeys belong to the 3rd house, which exalted Jupiter occupies from 2 June to 31 October — the strongest slow-graha support for local and work-related movement the year contains, and a placement rather than an aspect. Long and foreign journeys belong to the 9th house, Capricorn, which holds no slow graha until 5 December, when Rahu enters it; the tradition reads a north node in the 9th as an appetite for distance and for foreign things, and that reading applies to the last weeks of the year rather than to the year.

Pilgrimage sits under the same 9th house, and receives Jupiter's seventh aspect from Cancer between 2 June and 31 October. The 4th house, which Jupiter enters on 31 October, pulls the other way — toward the base rather than away from it — and a yearly reading can describe that tension without resolving it. What it cannot do is name a month for a journey, and this page does not. Nor does it name a month for travel undertaken for treatment, because a treatment is not a transit's business.

The nodes: Aquarius and Leo, until 5 December

Rahu and Ketu get their own section here because the earlier version of this page had both of them one house out, and the error is instructive. It placed Rahu in the 11th and Ketu in the 5th, which is exactly correct for Rahu in Pisces and Ketu in Virgo — where the nodes were in 2025. In 2026 Rahu holds Aquarius, the 10th from Vrishabha, and Ketu holds Leo, the 4th, from 1 January until 5 December. On 5 December they move together to Capricorn and Cancer, your 9th and 3rd houses.

The error also collided with something true, which is how it survived. Saturn really is in Vrishabha's 11th house all year, so a page claiming Rahu was there too read as coherent — two grahas in a house of gain, a tidy story — while in fact only one of them is in it. That is the whole case for deriving a house number rather than typing one: a house number without a rashi beside it can only be checked by somebody who already knows where the graha is, and unchecked is where it stays.

The two configurations read differently and the difference is legible. A 10th–4th axis is career against home: Rahu on visible work and status, Ketu on the base and the mother, which the tradition reads as ambition pulling away from the place it is conducted from. A 9th–3rd axis, from 5 December, is distance against proximity: Rahu on foreign places, teachers and long journeys, Ketu on siblings, effort and the local. December is therefore the month in which the year's node story changes, and that is a statement about an ingress date rather than a grade on a month. Rahu and Ketu as used here are the mean node — a smoothed analytic value rather than a body anyone measures — which is why 5 December is given as a day and never as a time of day, and why no shadow crossing of the nodes is dated or given an effect anywhere on this page.

One forward-looking date: 3 June 2027

Saturn enters Aries on 3 June 2027, and Aries is the 12th house counted from Vrishabha. That is the definition of the first phase of Sade Sati — Saturn in the 12th from the janma rashi, then the 1st, then the 2nd — so Taurus natives begin that cycle on that date and not in 2026. Nothing about 2026 is diminished by it, but it does change what the year is for: the tradition's reading of an 11th-house Saturn is that returns arrive, and its reading of a 12th-house Saturn is that outflows do, so the classical instruction is to settle rather than to extend, and to complete rather than to add. For the house-by-house version of that crossing, and for the way Shani reverses back into Pisces and your 11th house on 20 October 2027, see the Taurus horoscope for 2027.

That is the sequence the ephemeris gives, stated as a sequence. It is not a countdown, and no month of 2026 is being marked as a deadline. For Saturn read sign by sign see our Saturn transit 2026 guide, and for the three phases across all twelve Moon signs the guide to Shani Sade Sati remedies.

Vedic remedies traditionally prescribed for Vrishabh Rashi

These are the traditional prescriptions attached to Shukra, the lord of Vrishabha, and to Saturn in an 11th-house transit. They are given as what the tradition recommends, which is the only status this page claims for them. Worship of Lakshmi on Fridays, the vara assigned to Shukra, with white flowers, rice and sweets; recitation of the Sri Suktam on Friday evenings; the Shukra beej mantra — Om Draam Dreem Draum Sah Shukraya Namaha — recited 108 times on Fridays. A practice may be timed to a vara. A result may not be timed to a month.

A diamond or white sapphire (Safed Pukhraj) is the stone conventionally prescribed for Shukra, set in silver or platinum, and opal is the conventional substitute — but only after a chart has been read by someone who can see your birth time, because a stone is prescribed against a placement and not against a sign. Weight is given in ratti and scaled to the wearer, so there is no single figure that applies to everyone.

For Jupiter, and this year the observance is worth attaching to a house rather than to a month: yellow clothing on Thursdays, a turmeric tilak, donation of yellow items, and the Guru beej mantra — Om Gram Greem Groum Sah Gurave Namah — recited 108 times on Thursdays. Saturn is in a house classical texts count as favourable for Vrishabha, and the point of Shani observance during a favourable transit is continuity rather than defence: a sesame-oil lamp on Saturday evenings, black items given to those who need them, water offered to a peepal tree, and food given to labourers or to the elderly. Service rather than purchase is what the tradition attaches to Shani in every phase.

A Navagraha Shanti Puja is the conventional general observance where several transits are being worked at once, and meditation on the throat centre is the classical daily practice for the rashi that holds the face, neck and throat in the Kalapurusha scheme. Neither needs a month chosen for it, and this page does not choose one.

What this page does not give you, and why

No month on this page is graded, and none is named as fortunate or difficult. Over a year the only grahas that go anywhere slowly enough to matter are the four in the table above, and their dates for 2026 are 2 June, 27 July, 31 October, 5 December and 11 December. A list of good months and bad ones does not follow from those five dates or from anything else in the sky; it is produced by picking, and picking is not reading. This page used to carry six graded two-month paragraphs and a grading section on top of them, and not one of those gradings had a derivation behind it. The yearly horoscope hub sets out the arithmetic — how far each graha travels in 365 days — that makes this the case, and it is the same arithmetic that explains why a week is a Moon reading and a month a Sun reading.

The traditional attributions the tradition does assign to Vrishabha Rashi are single values rather than lists, and this site keeps them in one place so that no page can quietly grow them: the vara is Friday, the colour is Green, the number is 6, and the direction assigned to the rashi is South. That is a convention recorded in classical and later texts, not a measurement, and it does not subdivide — there is no second or third colour, no second number, and no separate direction for career and another for relationships. For the same four grahas worked through all twelve bhavas, see the Taurus yearly reading, and for the sign itself the Vrishabha Rashi traits page.

A yearly page reads four grahas for a twelfth of everybody at once. It has no birth time, so it has no bhavas of yours and no dasha. If you want the same four transits read against your own chart, talk to one of our Vedic astrologers.
