Virgo Horoscope 2026: Complete Yearly Predictions for Kanya Rashi
Published 2026-07-10 | Updated 2026-09-01 | Live Pandit Ji
Four grahas move slowly enough to shape a year for Virgo (Kanya Rashi), and in 2026 three of the four change rashi while one does not. Saturn holds Pisces — the 7th house counted from Kanya, and the sign directly opposite your own — for all twelve months, turning retrograde there on 27 July and direct again on 11 December. Jupiter passes through three rashis: Gemini and your 10th house until 2 June, then Cancer and your 11th, where it is exalted, until 31 October, then Leo and your 12th for the rest of the year. Rahu holds Aquarius, your 6th house, until 5 December, with Ketu opposite it in Leo, your 12th. Everything below follows from those four rows, and nothing below is a forecast about a person.
Where the four slow grahas actually are in 2026, counted from Kanya Rashi
Every house number below is counted from Virgo at build time, and every rashi and date comes from the DE421 ephemeris table in this repository — not typed into this page. The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars are left out on purpose: each of them crosses all twelve rashis inside a year, so on a yearly scale none of them is “in” a house at all.
| Graha | Rashi | Dates | House from Kanya | What that bhava is |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jupiter गुरु | Gemini (Mithuna) | 1 January to 2 June | 10th कर्म भाव | Career and profession, Public reputation, Authority |
| Cancer (Karka) | 2 June to 31 October | 11th लाभ भाव | Income and gains, Friends and networks, Aspirations | |
| Leo (Simha) | 31 October to 31 December | 12th व्यय भाव | Expenses and losses, Foreign residence, Spiritual liberation | |
| Saturn शनि | Pisces (Meena) | all of 2026 | 7th कलत्र भाव | Spouse / partner, Marriage, Business partnerships |
| Rahu राहु | Aquarius (Kumbha) | 1 January to 5 December | 6th शत्रु भाव | Health and diseases, Debts and loans, Service and routine |
| Capricorn (Makara) | 5 December to 31 December | 5th पुत्र भाव | Children, Creativity and arts, Romance | |
| Ketu केतु | Leo (Simha) | 1 January to 5 December | 12th व्यय भाव | Expenses and losses, Foreign residence, Spiritual liberation |
| Cancer (Karka) | 5 December to 31 December | 11th लाभ भाव | Income and gains, Friends and networks, Aspirations |
3 of the four change rashi inside 2026, and Saturn holds one the whole year. That is the whole reason a yearly reading is a different reading rather than a longer monthly one, and it is also the limit of what any yearly reading can say: nothing in this table has a birth time attached to it, so none of it locates an event in one person's life. Rahu and Ketu are the mean node — an analytic formula rather than a measured body — which is why their dates are given as days and never as clock times. Virgo yearly reading works the same four grahas through the twelve bhavas, and the yearly hub has the arithmetic behind the table.
Saturn in the 7th: the year's one stationary fact
Saturn spends every day of 2026 in Pisces, which is the 7th house from Kanya Rashi and the rashi standing exactly opposite yours. It entered Pisces on 29 March 2025 and does not reach Aries until 3 June 2027, so there is no point in the year at which this is not the case. It left your 6th house in March 2025, and that is the change most Virgo readers will have felt: for two and a half years a malefic sat in the house of competition, debt and adversaries, which classical texts read as the most useful position a malefic can take, and Virgo natives could simply outwork what was in front of them. From the 7th, progress depends on other people agreeing to it. That opposition is not permanent either — on that day Shani crosses into Aries and your 8th house, and it reverses back into Pisces on 20 October 2027, so the Virgo horoscope for 2027 has Ashtama Shani beginning and then being interrupted inside a single year.
The 7th house is where the tradition places marriage, business partnership, clients, counterparties and formal agreements — everything that requires a second signature. A slow graha there is read as weight on the negotiating side of your life rather than on the executing side. Contracts drafted carefully in a year like this hold; ones rushed to close a quarter tend to come back, which is a 7th-house reading rather than a warning about a month.
Saturn also aspects three houses from Pisces, and for Kanya Rashi one of them is unusual: its 7th aspect falls straight back onto Virgo itself, the 1st house, all year. Its 3rd aspect falls on Taurus, your 9th house of dharma and teachers, and its 10th on Sagittarius, your 4th house of home and mother. So Saturn touches four of your twelve bhavas in 2026 and one of them is your own rashi — which is the structural reason a year of this kind is physically tiring even when it goes well. From 27 July to 11 December Saturn is retrograde in the same rashi; a retrograde Saturn covers the same arc a second time, which the tradition reads as the same material being gone over again rather than as a different material.
Career: Jupiter is in the karma bhava, and then it is not
The single largest career fact of the year is one the earlier version of this page turned into an aspect. Jupiter is not aspecting your 10th house between April and June — it is sitting in it. Jupiter occupies Gemini, the karma bhava counted from Kanya, from 1 January until 2 June 2026, and it spends the first ten weeks of that stretch retrograde, turning direct on 11 March. The greatest benefic in the house of visible work, authority and public standing is the strongest thing the year gives Virgo in professional terms, and it is available for five months rather than for the year.
On 2 June Jupiter leaves the 10th for Cancer and your 11th house of gains, income and networks, and in Cancer it is exalted. That is a promotion in dignity and a demotion in house at the same time, which is the sort of thing a graded calendar cannot express: the karma bhava empties, and the labhasthana — the house of what work returns rather than of the work itself — receives a benefic at maximum strength. From Cancer, Jupiter's aspects fall on Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces, which counted from Kanya are your 3rd, 5th and 7th houses. The last of those is the one that matters most, because Saturn is in it: for the five months from 2 June to 31 October, exalted Jupiter aspects Saturn in your 7th house, which is the strongest classical mitigation the year offers a Kanya reader.
On 31 October Jupiter enters Leo and your 12th house, joining Ketu, and turns retrograde there on 13 December. From Leo its aspects fall on Sagittarius, Aquarius and Aries — your 4th, 6th and 8th houses — so nothing benefic bears on the 10th or the 7th for the last two months of the year. Those three ingress dates are the whole of the year's career structure. What they do not contain is a promotion, a bonus or a transfer, because a sun-sign or moon-sign page has no birth time, therefore no bhavas of yours and no dasha; it has a twelfth of everybody and four rows of an ephemeris.
Saturn's contribution to work is the one that does not change all year: its 3rd aspect on your 9th house of institutions and its 7th aspect on your own rashi. A Saturn transit favours the party who keeps filing, keeps records and keeps showing up, and it is indifferent to speed. Government and institutional processes are 9th- and 6th-house matters in the classical scheme, and both of those houses have something on them this year — Saturn's aspect on the 9th, and Rahu physically in the 6th.
The nodes: Rahu in the 6th, Ketu in the 12th
This is the material the page was missing entirely, and it is eleven months long. Rahu holds Aquarius, the 6th house from Kanya Rashi, from 1 January to 5 December 2026. Ketu sits opposite in Leo, your 12th. Both of those are dusthanas — the 6th of competition, debt, litigation, service and illness, the 12th of loss, expenditure, foreign lands and release — and the tradition reads a node in each of them very differently from a graha.
Rahu in the 6th is one of the few placements classical texts treat as straightforwardly serviceable for the native. The 6th house is where you are up against something, and Rahu is read as appetite and amplification; amplified adversaries are a problem, but amplified capacity to contend with them is the same graha, and the tradition generally reads the node in the 6th as favouring the person who fights rather than the thing fought. Debt and litigation are the 6th house's own significations, so those are the areas the placement is read against.
Ketu in the 12th is the quieter half and the more consequential one for a rashi as detail-attached as Kanya. Ketu is the subtractive node — detachment, indifference, the loosening of identification with whatever house it occupies — and the 12th is already the house of letting go. A node of release in the house of release is read as a stretch in which what falls away does so without much resistance, and in which interest in what happens away from where you are known increases: foreign matters, retreat, solitary practice. On 31 October Jupiter joins Ketu in Leo, and on 12 November the two are in conjunction there. Jupiter with Ketu is Guru-Chandal in the classical vocabulary, the combination read as muddled judgement and as sound advice that feels suspect.
On 5 December both nodes move back one house: Rahu to Capricorn, your 5th of creativity and children, and Ketu to Cancer, your 11th of gains. The nodes are the mean node — an analytic formula rather than a measured body — which is why 5 December is given as a day here and never as a clock time, and why this page says so rather than leaving it to be assumed.
Love & Relationships
The 7th house from Kanya Rashi is Pisces, and Pisces holds Saturn for every day of 2026. That is a real, checkable 7th-house fact, and it is the reason this section names no month for meeting anyone. Saturn in the 7th is the classical position for weight and delay in partnership: not absence, but slowness, seriousness and a preference for what has been tested over what is new. It is also the one position in which Saturn aspects the native's own rashi with its full 7th aspect, so the partnership reading and the 1st-house reading the texts attach to that aspect are the same transit read twice; the Health section below is where the second of the two is set out.
The 5th house of romance and creativity is Capricorn, and no slow graha is in it until Rahu arrives on 5 December. What it receives before then is exalted Jupiter's 7th aspect from Cancer, between 2 June and 31 October, which is the year's most supportive configuration for anything the 5th house governs. That is a statement about a house and two dates. Whether a particular reader meets a particular person is not derivable from it, and an absence stated plainly is stronger content than an invented window: nothing in the table above locates a meeting.
For those already in a partnership, the reading is the 7th house's own. A slow malefic there is traditionally read as a period in which the relationship becomes more practical than romantic, and in which unexamined arrangements get examined — which the tradition treats as the ordinary texture of the transit rather than as a verdict on the partnership. Between 2 June and 31 October the greatest benefic, at maximum dignity, aspects that house from your 11th. Openness about needs is available on any day of the year, and nothing about which day is written in the sky.
Marriage: what the 7th house does and does not say
Two structural points, both checkable. Saturn transits the 7th house from Kanya Rashi for the whole of 2026, and Jupiter — the graha the tradition associates with marriage for a woman's chart and with the 7th house generally — aspects that same house from its exaltation between 2 June and 31 October. Those two facts pull in opposite directions, which is what a year with two slow grahas bearing on one house usually looks like, and neither of them is a date for a wedding.
Day-level muhurat cannot be derived from a rashi at all. It depends on the tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana in force at a given place, and for a marriage it is checked against both charts as well, so this page lists no auspicious dates and no favourable months. Any yearly page that publishes wedding months for a twelfth of the population has invented them; for a rashi as evidence-minded as Kanya, that ought to settle it. Have a knowledgeable Vedic astrologer choose the date against the actual horoscopes, and use our daily panchang tool for the tithi, nakshatra and the day's windows alongside it.
Finance & Wealth
Three houses carry the money significations and all three have something on them this year. The 2nd house of accumulated wealth is Libra, and it receives Jupiter's 5th aspect from Gemini for the first five months of the year and nothing after that. The 11th house of gains is Cancer, and it holds exalted Jupiter physically from 2 June to 31 October — the strongest configuration the labhasthana can receive, and the reason the middle of the year reads differently from either end. The 6th house of debt is Aquarius, and it holds Rahu until 5 December; debt is that house's own signification, which is the classical reason a node there is read against borrowings rather than against income.
Saturn in the 7th is the year's financial friction and it arrives through other people. Shared money, a spouse's obligations, a partner's decisions and anything that needs a counterparty to perform are 7th-house matters, and a slow malefic there is read as exposure rather than as loss: arrangements that were never examined get examined. Keeping shared money documented is the reading; it is also the only piece of practical advice on this page that does not require a graha to justify it.
This page names no instrument and no month for buying anything, and that is deliberate rather than cautious. An ephemeris contains rashis, degrees and dates; it does not contain asset classes. No graha distinguishes a deposit from a share, a share from a plot of land, or any of them from a savings plan, so no transit can recommend one over another, and none can promise a return by a particular year — a page that does either has stopped reporting a tradition and started giving financial advice. What is fair to state is the signification: the 2nd house is the house of accumulated wealth, the 11th is the house of gains, and the 6th is the house of debt.
Health & Wellness
The body part the Kalapurusha assigns to Virgo is the abdomen and intestines, which is what medical astrology in this tradition reads for the sign. The 6th house from Kanya Rashi is Aquarius, and the 6th is the house of disease itself; it holds Rahu for eleven months of 2026. The tradition reads a graha transiting the 6th as consuming that house's significations rather than amplifying them, which is why the 6th is counted among the upachaya positions where a malefic is read as constructive.
The other structural fact is Saturn's 7th aspect landing back on Kanya itself for all twelve months, which classical texts associate with lowered stamina and with the significations of the 1st house — the body, the constitution, the recovery time — rather than with anything sudden. Saturn moved out of your 6th house in March 2025, where it had kept routines disciplined, and the aspect it now throws on your own rashi is the counterpart of that.
That is the tradition's reading and it is the whole of what this page will say about your body. No month here is a month for anyone to be unwell in, and no month on this page is a month to schedule a check-up, a treatment or a procedure in, because no transit has been shown to set the date of an illness or of a recovery, and a sun-sign page has no birth time, no history and no examination behind it. Consistent treatment is what changes a long-standing condition, on whatever schedule the person treating you sets. A practice, unlike a treatment, can be timed: the Budha observances below are traditionally kept on Wednesdays, and a meditation or yoga habit needs no muhurat and no favourable month to begin in.
Education and Learning
Education is read from the 4th, 5th and 9th houses, with the 8th and 12th for research. For Kanya Rashi the 9th house of higher learning and teachers is Taurus, and it receives Saturn's 3rd aspect from Pisces all year — the discipline reading rather than the inspiration one. The 4th house is Sagittarius, which receives Saturn's 10th aspect all year and Jupiter's 5th aspect from Leo after 31 October. The 5th house is Capricorn, which receives exalted Jupiter's 7th aspect between 2 June and 31 October.
Research and solitary work sit under the 12th house, and the 12th is Leo — occupied by Ketu for eleven months and by Jupiter from 31 October, with the two in conjunction on 12 November. Study away from where you are known, foreign application and work that has no audience are the 12th house's territory, and this is the year that house has something in it. Whether a particular examination is passed or a particular application accepted is not in any of this; the honest form of a transit reading is what the tradition reads a placement as, not an outcome for a reader it has never met.
Why This Page Cannot Read Mercury
Virgo is the one rashi where a graha both owns the sign and is exalted in it — the exaltation this site records for Kanya is Mercury at 15°, with the moolatrikona immediately after — so it is worth being explicit about why your own ruling graha barely appears above. Mercury's circuit is about a year (geocentric) and it spends roughly 3 weeks to 2 months in a rashi. Over 365 days it therefore visits every house and the visits cancel: on a yearly scale Mercury is not “in” a house at all, and naming one for it would be the same invention as a weekly reading naming a house for Saturn. That is why the table at the top of this page has only the four slow grahas in it, and it is the same argument the yearly horoscope hub makes with the arithmetic: a year is a Jupiter reading, because Jupiter is the graha that covers roughly one rashi in it.
The same objection retires the retrograde sentences this page used to carry. Mercury does turn retrograde three times in 2026 and this site records the station dates, but none of them is in September, and a yearly frame is the wrong scale to read them at in any case — that is what the monthly and weekly readings are for. What can be named at this scale is a conjunction, and the ephemeris table lists all sixty of 2026 so that no page can invent a sixty-first. Three of them fall in Cancer and your 11th house while Jupiter is exalted there: Venus meets Jupiter on 10 June, at 1.55 degrees, which is the only Venus-Jupiter conjunction of the whole year; the Sun meets Jupiter on 29 July; and your own ruling graha, Mercury, meets Jupiter in your 11th house on 15 August. Two more fall in Leo and your 12th house after Jupiter arrives there: Ketu on 12 November and Mars on 16 November. A conjunction, in the tradition, is two significations read together rather than an event scheduled for a date.
Remedies Traditionally Prescribed for Kanya Rashi
These are the prescriptions the tradition attaches to Mercury, the lord of Kanya, and to Saturn in a 7th-house transit. They are given as what the tradition recommends, which is the only status this page claims for them.
- The Budha Beej Mantra — Om Braam Breem Braum Sah Budhaya Namaha — recited 108 times on Wednesdays, the vara assigned to Budha
- Green clothing on Wednesdays, and donation of green moong dal
- Green grass fed to cows on Wednesdays
- A Ganesha image kept at the place you work, the deity conventionally invoked for the removal of obstacles
- The Vishnu Sahasranama recited once a week
- Tulsi planted and cared for daily, which the tradition attaches to Budha
- A sesame-oil lamp under a peepal tree on Saturday evenings, and the Hanuman Chalisa — the Shani observances, which matter this year because Saturn stands opposite your rashi for all twelve months
- An emerald, and only after a chart has been read by someone who can see your birth time: a stone is prescribed against a placement, not against a sign
Timing in 2026: What a Moon Sign Can and Cannot Tell You
This page deliberately does not list specific auspicious dates for 2026. A muhurat comes from the tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana in force at a given place and time, and for anything important it is checked against the individual birth chart as well — a Moon sign alone cannot generate one. Any yearly horoscope that publishes lucky days for a twelfth of the population has invented them. For a sign as evidence-minded as Kanya, that ought to settle it.
What can be read at this level is structural, and it runs through this page: Saturn transits Pisces for the whole of 2026, which is your 7th house and the sign directly opposite Kanya Rashi, so partnerships, marriage and formal agreements carry the year's weight; Saturn's own 7th aspect falls back on your rashi, which is where the 1st-house reading the texts attach to that aspect comes from, and the Health section is where it is set out; Jupiter is in your 10th, then your 11th, then your 12th; and the nodes hold your 6th and 12th until 5 December. None of that depends on grading a month.
For anything that does need a date — a wedding, a contract signing, a house move, the opening of a business — have the muhurat chosen against your own chart, which matters more this year given the 7th house transit. Medical dates are the one exception, and the Health section above has already made it: those are set by the person treating you, on clinical grounds, and a panchang has no standing in them. Our daily panchang tool gives the tithi, nakshatra and the day's auspicious and inauspicious windows to read alongside your horoscope.
What This Page Does Not Give You, and Why
There are no fortunate months here and no difficult ones, and there is no month-by-month summary. Over a year the only grahas that go anywhere slowly enough to matter are the four in the table above, and between them they produce five dates in 2026: Jupiter enters Cancer on 2 June and Leo on 31 October, the nodes change rashi on 5 December, and Saturn turns retrograde on 27 July and direct again on 11 December. Jupiter's own stations, 11 March and 13 December, are the sixth and seventh. Twelve one-line verdicts, one per calendar month, do not follow from those seven dates or from anything else in the table — they are produced by picking, and picking is not reading. The yearly horoscope hub sets out the arithmetic — how far each graha travels in 365 days — that makes this the case.
The traditional attributions assigned to Kanya Rashi are single values rather than lists, and this site keeps them in one place so that no page can quietly grow them: the vara is Wednesday, the colour is Navy Blue, the number is 5, and the direction assigned to the rashi is South. That is a convention recorded in classical and later texts, not a measurement, and it does not subdivide — there is no separate direction for career and another for marriage, and no second or third number. For the same four grahas worked through all twelve bhavas, see the Virgo yearly reading, and for the sign itself the Kanya Rashi traits page.
A yearly page reads four grahas for a twelfth of everybody at once. It has no birth time, so it has no bhavas of yours and no dasha. For the same four transits read against your own chart, consult our verified Vedic astrologers for a Dasha-transit analysis.
