Libra Rashifal July 2027 (Tula Rashi): Debilitated Saturn Faces Its Own Exaltation Sign
Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji
There is a piece of geometry in a Tula chart this year that belongs to no other sign. Saturn is transiting Aries, where it is debilitated. Aries is your seventh house. And Libra — your own rashi — is the sign in which Saturn is exalted. So for the whole of July 2027 the planet is standing at its weakest, in the house of the partner, looking directly back at the one sign in the zodiac where it would be strongest.
A planet in the seventh house casts its full aspect on the first. That means debilitated Saturn is aspecting Tula Rashi throughout the month with complete strength of aspect and minimal strength of position — heavy pressure delivered by something that cannot carry its own weight. It is worth adding one precise qualification: Saturn’s deepest debilitation is at 20° of Aries, and this month it sits between 2°18′ and 3°34′. It is roughly seventeen degrees short of the worst of it.
The other governing fact is that your ruling planet goes dark. Venus enters combustion on 6 July and stays invisible until 17 September — seventy-three days, with the exact conjunction on 12 August. It spends the first twenty-two days of the month in your ninth house and crosses into your tenth at 1:42 am on Friday 23 July. So your ruler is weak, your seventh house holds a debilitated Saturn, and yet the month has a real upward slope, because everything moves from the ninth house into the tenth.
One Degree Sixteen Minutes of Saturn, All Month
Saturn covers 1°16′ in the whole of July — roughly two and a half arcminutes a day. That is what makes it the standing condition of the year rather than an event: it does not arrive and it does not leave, it simply sits in your seventh house being difficult. The one thing it does do is clear 3°20′ of Aries around 22 July, which is the boundary between the Revati–Ashwini gandanta it entered on 3 June and clearer ground.
We publish that as a date and not a minute, and the reason is arithmetic. At 0.035° a day, a two-arcminute disagreement between one ayanamsa and another moves the crossing by about two days. Our own series and our ephemeris table differ by four arcminutes on Saturn’s longitude, which is why we say “about 22 July”. Anybody publishing a minute for a Saturn boundary crossing is quoting a number their method cannot support.
What debilitated Saturn in the seventh actually looks like: a partner who is under strain rather than being difficult, an agreement that will not close, a business relationship that has become an obligation. Saturn in the seventh is classically the transit of the contract you cannot exit and would not choose again. Debilitated, it lacks even the compensating discipline. Practical instruction: renegotiate nothing this month, honour everything, and wait. See the Shani dosh page for the observances.
Your Ninth House Empties Into Your Tenth
For the first sixteen days of July your ninth house of dharma, father, teachers and long journeys holds three planets: the Sun, Mercury in its own sign, and Venus. The New Moon of 8:32 am on Sunday 4 July forms there too, at 17°42′ of Gemini in Ardra pada 4. A New Moon in the ninth is a reset on belief — what you actually hold to be true, as distinct from what you were taught.
Then all three cross into your tenth house of career, one at a time: the Sun at 5:42 am on Saturday 17 July at Karka Sankranti, Venus at 1:42 am on Friday 23 July, and Mercury at 6:28 pm on Friday 30 July. Ketu is already in that house, at 19°02′ falling to 17°23′ of Cancer, inside Ashlesha pada 1 all month. So your career house ends July holding three planets and a node where it began with the node alone.
This is the month’s real shape and it is genuinely encouraging: belief in the first half, position in the second. What it does not give you is a clean instant to act on, because the transfer happens in three stages across a fortnight and because Venus — which for Tula rules your first and eighth houses — arrives in the career house combust. Read it as movement that is real and unannounced.
Mercury Direct on the 5th, and the Only Conjunction of the Month
Mercury and Venus are exact in your ninth house at 2:52 pm on Thursday 1 July, at 3°41′ of Gemini. That is the only exact conjunction between two planets anywhere in July 2027, and for Tula it falls in the house of the teacher on the first day of the month. Mercury then clears 12° from the Sun on 2 July, ending its combustion, and turns direct at 1:10 am on Monday 5 July at 3°52′ of Gemini after twenty-five days of retrograde motion.
That station is published to the minute because a station is intrinsic: it is the instant the planet’s apparent motion reverses as seen from Earth, and no choice of ayanamsa moves it. Mercury re-enters Ardra going forward at 1:58 am on Wednesday 14 July and Punarvasu at 3:39 am on Sunday 25 July. For a Tula reader, Mercury direct in the ninth house is when travel plans, applications and anything academic stop stalling.
Venus crosses three nakshatra boundaries in July, more than any other body: Ardra at 1:18 am on Sunday 4 July, Punarvasu at 10:19 pm on Wednesday 14 July and Pushya at 6:44 pm on Sunday 25 July. It covers 38°07′ in thirty-one days, close to its maximum speed, while being invisible for twenty-six of them. Your ruler is fast and dark at the same time.
Fifty-Six Hours of Moon, and a Fourth-House Full Moon
The Moon reaches Tula Rashi at 10:53 am on Sunday 11 July and leaves at 6:57 pm on Tuesday 13 July — fifty-six hours four minutes, eight hours longer than the notional average, because the Moon is slowing as it approaches apogee. It opens six days after Mercury turns direct and closes the day before Devshayani Ekadashi. For a month with very little classical permission in it, that window is the best usable stretch you get.
The Full Moon of 9:14 pm on Sunday 18 July forms at 1°36′ of Capricorn in Uttara Ashadha pada 2, in your fourth house of home, mother and land. Rahu holds the same fourth house all month, sliding from 19°02′ to 17°23′ and staying in Shravana pada 3. The Full Moon is 17°26′ from Rahu, so this is a fourth-house Full Moon and not a Full Moon on the node — a distinction worth keeping, because the second would be a genuinely troubled configuration and the first is simply revealing.
It falls on Guru Purnima, and the Purnima tithi ends at exactly that instant, since a Full Moon is the moment the tithi closes. A fourth-house Full Moon with Rahu in the house tends to bring a domestic matter into the open — a property question, something about the mother, a decision about where to live. With debilitated Saturn in the seventh at the same time, the fourth and seventh houses are both under pressure, which is why July is a month for holding the household together rather than restructuring it.
The Month’s Fixed Points
- Thursday 1 July, 2:52 pm — Mercury and Venus are exact at 3°41′ of Gemini, in your ninth house. The only exact conjunction in July 2027.
- Friday 2 July — Mercury clears 12° from the Sun and is no longer combust.
- Sunday 4 July, 1:18 am — Venus enters Ardra in your ninth house.

- Friday 30 July, 6:28 pm — Mercury crosses into your tenth house, emptying your ninth. Jupiter enters Magha pada 3 the same day.
Week by Week
Thirty-one days, Thursday to Saturday: five Fridays and five Saturdays. For a Tula reader that is the useful pair — five Shukravars in the month your ruler goes combust, and five Shanivars in the month debilitated Saturn sits in your seventh house. Both observances have a subject this month, which is not always the case.
1–7 July
The only week with any classical permission in it. Mercury and Venus are exact in your ninth house at 2:52 pm on Thursday the 1st, Mercury comes out of combustion on Friday the 2nd, and the New Moon resets your ninth house at 8:32 am on Sunday the 4th. Monday the 5th carries Mercury turning direct at 1:10 am, Mars changing house at 4:24 am, Rath Yatra, and the last clear day of the whole 82-day run. From Tuesday the 6th your ruler is dark.
8–14 July
The best week of the month for you, oddly, given how little of it is formally open. Your Chandra window runs from 10:53 am on Sunday the 11th to 6:57 pm on Tuesday the 13th, fifty-six hours four minutes, with Mercury direct in your ninth house. Then Wednesday the 14th does four things: Mercury re-enters Ardra at 1:58 am, Devshayani Ekadashi falls and Chaturmas begins, Jupiter reaches Magha pada 2 in your eleventh, and Venus enters Punarvasu at 10:19 pm.
15–21 July
The transfer begins. Karka Sankranti at 5:42 am on Saturday the 17th moves the Sun out of your ninth house and into your tenth, where Ketu sits, and starts the sidereal Dakshinayana. On Sunday the 18th the Full Moon fills your fourth house at 9:14 pm on Guru Purnima, with the Purnima tithi ending at the same instant. The Sun enters Pushya at 5:35 pm on Tuesday the 20th. Expect a domestic question to surface around the 18th and a professional one to start moving after the 17th.
22–28 July
Saturn clears 3°20′ of Aries in your seventh house around Thursday the 22nd, leaving the gandanta it entered on 3 June — the point at which the vagueness of the seventh-house pressure usually resolves into something specific and workable. Mars enters Hasta in your twelfth at 7:19 pm the same day. Your ruler crosses into your career house at 1:42 am on Friday the 23rd, combust. Mercury enters Punarvasu on Sunday the 25th and Venus reaches Pushya that evening.
29–31 July
Three days that complete the handover. Mercury crosses into your tenth house at 6:28 pm on Friday the 30th, so your ninth house ends the month empty and your tenth holds the Sun, Venus, Mercury and Ketu. Jupiter reaches Magha pada 3 in your eleventh on the 30th as well. Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st are both observance days, and with your ruler combust and Saturn in your seventh they are worth keeping properly rather than nominally.
Career and Money for Tula Rashi
Career improves across the month rather than at a moment. Your tenth house begins July holding only Ketu and ends it holding three planets — the Sun from the 17th, Venus from the 23rd, Mercury from the 30th. That is a real change of weather. The complication is that Ketu was there first: Ketu in the tenth is classically indifferent to position, which reads as advancement that does not feel like advancement, or a role you get and do not want as much as you expected. Our career remedies page covers the observances.
Money is the better half of the chart. Jupiter holds Leo and your eleventh house of gains for all thirty-one days, running from 0°51′ to 6°54′ inside Magha, changing pada on the 14th and the 30th — days rather than minutes, because a pada edge depends on the chosen ayanamsa and Jupiter at a fifth of a degree a day cannot defend a minute. Jupiter in the eleventh is the classical transit of income through people, and it holds that house into 2028. Mars is in the same house until 4:24 am on Monday 5 July and then leaves for your twelfth.
One caution. Venus is combust from the 6th and for Tula it rules your first and eighth houses, so both your own judgement and anything to do with shared money are affected. This is a poor month for a purchase justified by appearance and a poor month for restructuring a loan. The business and property muhurat page for July 2027 shows what the asta and Chaturmas leave, which is very little after the 5th, and the financial remedies page covers the rest.
Home, Family and Partnership
Partnership is where the month concentrates and it needs plain speaking. Debilitated Saturn in the seventh house, aspecting your own sign with full strength for all thirty-one days, is the year’s heaviest configuration for a Tula chart. It is not a signature of breakdown; it is a signature of weight — duty in place of ease, patience in place of pleasure, an agreement honoured rather than enjoyed. With your ruler also combust from the 6th, July is the wrong month to test whether a relationship can bear a hard conversation.
If a marriage date is being discussed, the calendar answers before the chart does. The 82-day open run that began on 15 April ends on 5 July, because Venus goes combust on the 6th, and Chaturmas begins on 14 July and runs to 10 November. So nothing after the 5th is classically clear, on two independent grounds. The marriage muhurat page for July 2027 sets out the arithmetic, and our page on delay is for readers this frustrates.
Home takes the Full Moon of the 18th, with Rahu in the fourth house all month. That combination brings a property or family matter into the open on a single night. Because Saturn is simultaneously pressing the seventh, the fourth and seventh are both loaded, and the useful instruction is to keep the two separate: a household decision made to settle a partnership argument will be regretted. The griha pravesh page shows what the closures allow.
Health
Your sixth house of illness is Pisces and empty all month, and its ruler Jupiter sits well in your eleventh, which is a favourable arrangement. The pressure is not from the sixth house but from Saturn aspecting your rashi from the seventh: that is chronic rather than acute — stiffness, low energy, teeth and bones, the things Saturn governs. It clears its gandanta around the 22nd, which is often when the diffuse tiredness starts to lift.
Mars leaves your eleventh house for your twelfth on the 5th and stays there for twenty-six days. Mars in the twelfth is the placement people describe as being tired for no reason, and it is the one to plan around: less intensity, more consistency, earlier nights. Use the Chandra window — 10:53 am on 11 July to 6:57 pm on 13 July, fifty-six hours four minutes — to begin any treatment or routine. Brahma muhurta practice suits this month better than late working.
Remedies for Tula Rashi in July 2027
Four conditions define the month: debilitated Saturn in your seventh house aspecting your own sign, your ruler combust from the 6th, your ninth house emptying into your tenth across a fortnight, and Jupiter in your eleventh all month.
- Shani observance on the Saturdays — 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 July: the most important item here. Five Shanivars, with debilitated Saturn in your seventh house casting full aspect on your rashi. Sesame oil, black til, a peepal lamp after sundown, and something given to someone who works for you. See Shani remedies, Saturday fasting and the Shani dosh page.
- Shukra observance on the Fridays — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 July: four of the five Fridays fall inside Shukra asta, which is when your ruler most needs support. White cloth, rice and ghee, something fragrant offered rather than worn, and no jewellery bought on the strength of it. See Shukra remedies and Friday fasting.
- Guru worship on the Thursdays — 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 July: Jupiter holds your eleventh house of gains all month and Guru Purnima falls on the 18th. Turmeric, chana dal, yellow given to a teacher rather than kept. See weak-Jupiter remedies and Thursday fasting.
- Ketu observance while the node holds your tenth house: Ketu is in Ashlesha pada 1 in your career house all month, and by the 30th it has the Sun, Venus and Mercury with it. Sesame, cloth given to a place of worship, something released rather than acquired. See Ketu remedies and the Rahu–Ketu page.
- Renegotiate nothing: not a ritual, the practical reading of a debilitated Saturn in the seventh with a combust ruler. Honour existing agreements, do not reopen them, and revisit the question after 17 September.
- Finish anything formal before Tuesday 6 July: the 5th is the last day of the year’s longest clear run, and both the asta and Chaturmas close the rest of the month.
- Keep the Chandra window clear — 11 to 13 July: fifty-six hours four minutes, with Mercury newly direct. In a month with almost no formal permission, this is the stretch that is actually yours.
In Summary
July 2027 gives Tula Rashi a configuration no other sign has: Saturn debilitated in your seventh house, covering just 1°16′ all month, aspecting your own rashi with full strength — and Libra is the very sign in which Saturn is exalted. The planet is standing at its weakest, looking straight at the place where it would be strongest. It clears 3°20′ of Aries around 22 July, which is the one thing that changes.
Alongside that, your ruler goes dark on 6 July and stays combust until 17 September, and your ninth house hands three planets to your tenth across a fortnight — the Sun on the 17th, Venus on the 23rd, Mercury on the 30th, all arriving behind Ketu. The Full Moon of 9:14 pm on 18 July lights your fourth house on Guru Purnima. Jupiter holds your eleventh house of gains for the whole month and into 2028.
Read it as a month to carry rather than to change. The partnership pressure is real and slow, the career movement is real and quiet, and the only genuinely clear stretch is the first five days plus your Chandra window of 11 to 13 July. All of this is sign-level: which of the nine Libra padas holds your natal Moon, and where Saturn and Venus sit in your own chart, decides how much of it lands. For more, read June’s reading, what Tula Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our page on Shani dosh.
Debilitated Saturn aspects your sign from the seventh all month
How much weight a debilitated Saturn in the seventh actually puts on you depends on your pada, your natal Saturn and the dasha running — a sign-level reading cannot settle that.
