Libra Rashifal May 2027 (Tula Rashi): Exalted Jupiter in Your Career House, Venus Reaches Your Seventh
Published 2026-08-21 | Live Pandit Ji
Tula Rashi has the best career signature of any sign in May 2027, and it is a structural one rather than a dated event. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, which is your tenth house. The largest benefic in the chart, at its maximum strength, sitting in the house of profession, direct since 13 April, for every day of the month.
There is one qualification, and May is the month it fades. Ketu is in Cancer too, and it has been sitting on Jupiter: they were exact on 20 April. On 1 May they are 58 arc-minutes apart and by the 31st 5°32′ apart. Jupiter conjunct Ketu is the one thing that hollows out an exaltation — recognition that does not register, an opportunity that feels like nothing. So the tenth house improves through the month, measurably, without any single day to point at.
Your ruler works the other axis. Venus begins May exalted in Pisces in your sixth house, is exact with Saturn at 12:18 am on Saturday 8 May, and reaches Aries and your seventh house of partnership at 8:45 am on Monday 10 May. And behind both of those, Saturn is in its last full month in your sixth house: it enters Aries and your seventh on 3 June 2027.
Exalted Jupiter in the Tenth, Measured
Jupiter is slow. It moves just 2°55′ in the whole of May, from 23°14′ to 26°09′ of Cancer, and stays inside Ashlesha the entire time, crossing from the second pada into the third. Ketu is slower and moves backwards, from 22°16′ to 20°37′. It is the sum of the two motions — one forward, one retrograde — that opens the gap from under a degree to over five in thirty-one days.
What that means for your tenth house is a month whose last week is genuinely different from its first. April’s version of exalted Jupiter in your career house was muted; May’s clears. Ashlesha is the sharpest nakshatra of Cancer, ruled by Mercury and by the serpents, so the flavour of the opportunity is shrewd rather than expansive: an advantage that comes from understanding a situation better than the people in it.
The deadline is worth knowing. Jupiter leaves Cancer for Leo at 4:48 am on 26 June 2027, moving from your tenth house to your eleventh, and will not be exalted again for about twelve years. Whatever this transit is going to do for your professional standing, it does in the next eight weeks.
Your Ruler’s Two Dates: 8 May and 10 May
Venus rules Tula Rashi, and it starts the month at 18°38′ of Pisces, exalted, in your sixth house of work, debt, competition and health. An exalted benefic in the sixth is one of the few unambiguously good things that can happen to that house: enemies quieten, a debt becomes manageable, a health matter turns.
It is exact with Saturn at 12:18 am on Saturday 8 May, at 27°08′ of Pisces, in the first hour of the day, inside the gandanta — the unstable junction formed by the last 3°20′ of Pisces and the first 3°20′ of Aries. Your ruler meeting the slowest planet in the sky in your sixth house reads as a workplace or health matter finally being handled, on terms that are not entirely yours.
Then, at 8:45 am on Monday 10 May, Venus enters Aries and Ashwini, losing exaltation and arriving in your seventh house of marriage and partnership, where it stays for the rest of the month, entering Bharani at 8:00 am on Friday 21 May. The ruler of your sign in your seventh house is a classical signature for attention from a partner, a proposal, or a partnership becoming the centre of your month. It is not exalted there, but it is where you would want it. Your Fridays — 7, 14, 21 and 28 May — are the days to work with it, and the 7th is the one that catches Venus still exalted.
The New Moon Lands in Your Seventh House
The New Moon forms at 4:28 pm on Thursday 6 May at 21°30′ of Aries, in the third pada of Bharani — in your seventh house, four days before Venus arrives there. A New Moon in the seventh is the cleanest reset a partnership axis gets: a beginning rather than a conclusion, and the Sun is exalted in that house at the time.
Fourteen days and one minute later, the Full Moon forms at 4:29 pm on Thursday 20 May at 5°00′ of Scorpio, in the first pada of Anuradha, in your second house of money, family and speech. So the month opens on the other person and closes on your own resources — which, for the sign whose whole business is balance, is a reasonably fair distribution.
Your Chandra days fall between them: the Moon is on Tula Rashi from 11:33 pm on Monday 17 May to 7:02 am on Thursday 20 May — two days and seven and a half hours, and the window ends on the very morning of the Full Moon. That is the longest personal window May gives you and the best time for anything you want to begin with a clear head.
Saturn’s Last Full Month in Your Sixth House
Saturn moves from 26°18′ to 29°47′ of Pisces in May — thirteen arc-minutes from the end of the zodiac — crossing from the third pada of Revati into the fourth in the first days of the month and staying in the gandanta to the end. At 0.11° a day that pada crossing is worth a day, not a minute, so we do not date it more precisely.
Saturn in the sixth house is one of its genuinely favourable placements. The sixth is the house of enemies, debts, disease and daily labour, and Saturn there grinds them down rather than you: a long dispute wearing out, a loan being paid off, a competitor losing interest. That ends on 3 June, when Saturn enters your seventh house — a much heavier transit, where it examines marriage, partnership and every formal agreement you are inside.
It does not arrive in one step. Saturn turns retrograde in Aries on 9 August 2027, slides back into Pisces and your sixth house on 20 October 2027, and turns direct there on 24 December 2027. But the direction of travel is clear, and it means May is the month to close sixth-house business in: the dispute, the debt, the medical matter, the difficult colleague. Our Shani dosh page covers what Saturn does in these positions.
The Sankranti, and Mercury’s Long Run
The Sun is exalted in Aries in your seventh house for the first fifteen days of May — a partner or counterparty at maximum brightness, and occasionally at maximum volume. It enters Krittika at 1:22 am on Wednesday 12 May, moves to Taurus and your eighth house at 12:14 pm on Saturday 15 May at Vrishabha Sankranti, and enters Rohini at 9:39 pm on Tuesday 25 May.
Mercury covers 50°11′ in May, more than any other body: from your seventh house through your eighth — it enters Taurus at 12:34 pm on Thursday 6 May — and into your ninth at 6:28 pm on Sunday 23 May. It opens the month combust, having been exact with the Sun at 2:51 am on 29 April; the gap reaches 14° on about the 11th and nearly 23° by the 27th. So the first week is the wrong time for a contract with a partner, and the middle of the month is the right one.
Every Day of May Is Open
There is no closure anywhere in the month — no Kharmas, no Holashtak, no Chaturmas, no Adhika Maas, and neither Jupiter nor Venus combust. All 31 days are open, inside an unbroken run of 82 open days from 15 April to 5 July 2027, the longest in the two years our tables cover.
The run ends because of your ruler. Venus’s angular distance from the Sun closes from about 27° on 1 May to under 20° by the 31st, and on 6 July 2027 it falls inside 10°: Shukra asta, Venus combust, which closes the marriage calendar until 17 September. For Tula Rashi — a Venus-ruled sign with a New Moon in the seventh house this month and Saturn arriving in that house on 3 June — the conclusion is unambiguous. If a marriage or a formal partnership is to be settled in 2027, May and June are the months. See the May 2027 marriage muhurat page, griha pravesh and business and property.

Week by Week
Thirty-one days, Saturday to Monday, so five Saturdays, five Sundays and five Mondays and four of everything else. Venus rules Tula Rashi, so your day is Friday: 7, 14, 21 and 28 May. The 7th catches your ruler exalted; the 21st catches it entering Bharani in your seventh house.
1–7 May
A seventh-house week with a bad week for paperwork inside it. The exalted Sun is in your partnership house, the New Moon forms there at 4:28 pm on Thursday the 6th — and Mercury is combust in the same house at the start, having been exact with the Sun on 29 April, leaving for your eighth at 12:34 pm on the 6th. So: talk, decide, but do not sign. Friday the 7th is the month’s best Venus day, with your ruler exalted in your sixth house hours before it meets Saturn.
8–14 May
The week your ruler changes houses. Venus is exact with Saturn in your sixth house in the first hour of Saturday the 8th, at 12:18 am, and enters your seventh at 8:45 am on Monday the 10th. Mercury clears the Sun’s glare around the 11th. From the 10th onward the partnership axis has both the exalted Sun and your own ruler in it — the strongest configuration of the month for anything relational.
15–21 May
The best week of the month for you personally. At 12:14 pm on Saturday the 15th the Sun leaves your seventh house for your eighth, taking the glare with it and leaving Venus there alone. Your Chandra days begin at 11:33 pm on Monday the 17th and run to 7:02 am on Thursday the 20th — and the Full Moon forms in your second house at 4:29 pm that same Thursday, so the week ends on money and family.
22–28 May
An outward-looking week. Mercury enters your ninth house at 6:28 pm on Sunday the 23rd and reaches its widest separation from the Sun on the 27th at nearly 23°; the Sun enters Rohini in your eighth at 9:39 pm on Tuesday the 25th. Jupiter is now well clear of Ketu in your tenth house, so this is the week in which the career improvement should first be noticeable. Friday the 28th is a good day for a partnership gesture.
29–31 May
Three days to close sixth-house business in. Mercury enters Ardra at 10:20 pm on Saturday the 29th. The month ends on Monday the 31st with Saturn at 29°47′ of Pisces, three days from your seventh house, and exalted Jupiter 5°32′ clear of Ketu in your tenth. If there is a dispute, a debt or a medical matter you have been carrying, it is easier to settle now than in July.
Career and Money for Tula Rashi
Career is the strongest part of this chart and the reason is a single placement: exalted Jupiter in your tenth house, direct, for all 31 days, pulling steadily clear of Ketu. Nothing about it is dated — it is a condition rather than an event — but it means that a professional approach made in May is being made under the best planetary cover you will have for twelve years, and that the second half of the month is better than the first.
Money is mixed and mostly second-house. The Full Moon of the 20th falls there, which tends to bring a family financial matter to a head. Mars holds your eleventh house of gains all month, in Leo, moving from 1°12′ to 12°49′ and staying inside Magha from the first day to the last — income through effort and, occasionally, through friction with the people who bring it. Rahu sits in your fourth house in Capricorn, moving from 22°16′ to 20°37′ and holding Shravana pada 4 all month with no nakshatra change, which is the standard signature for an unconventional property decision. See our financial remedies page.
Home, Family and Partnership
Partnership is the month’s narrative. The New Moon of the 6th forms in your seventh house, the exalted Sun occupies it until 12:14 pm on the 15th, and your own ruler arrives there at 8:45 am on the 10th and stays. That is three separate arguments for May being a month in which a relationship moves — and the timing matters, because Saturn enters that same house on 3 June and starts asking harder questions.
The honest reading of the sequence is: what begins in May will be tested from June. That is not a reason to avoid the beginning; it is a reason to make it on real terms rather than hopeful ones. Our marriage delay page is worth reading if this axis has been stuck.
At home, Rahu in your fourth house all month in Shravana is the quiet disturbance: a domestic arrangement that is not quite conventional, or a property matter that keeps changing shape. The Full Moon in your second on the 20th brings family money into it. Nothing here is dramatic at sign level, and the fourth house has no other occupant.
Health
May is a good health month for Tula Rashi and the reason is your sixth house. Saturn has been grinding down chronic complaints there, and exalted Venus joins it for the first ten days — the best combination the house of disease gets. If there is a treatment, a course of physiotherapy or a diagnosis to pursue, the first ten days of May are the window, and the exact Venus–Saturn contact at 12:18 am on the 8th is its centre.
Tula Rashi governs the kidneys, lower back and the body’s fluid balance, and Venus — your ruler — is the significator. With the Sun exalted in your seventh house until the 15th and then in your eighth, the second fortnight is lower in energy than the first. Your Chandra days, 11:33 pm on 17 May to 7:02 am on 20 May, are the best window for beginning a regimen, and they are unusually long this month.
Remedies for Tula Rashi in May 2027
Four conditions: exalted Jupiter separating from Ketu in your tenth house, your ruler meeting Saturn in your sixth on the 8th and reaching your seventh on the 10th, Saturn’s last full month in your sixth before it enters your seventh, and Mars in your eleventh house in Magha all month.
- Shukra observance on Friday 7 May above all: the one Friday of the month that catches your ruler exalted, hours before it meets Saturn. White cloth, rice and ghee, something fragrant offered rather than worn. Continue on 14, 21 and 28 May — the 21st catches Venus entering Bharani in your seventh house. See Shukra remedies and Friday fasting.
- Guru worship on the Thursdays — 6, 13, 20 and 27 May: exalted Jupiter is in your career house and pulling clear of Ketu, and it leaves that house on 26 June. Turmeric, chana dal, and yellow given to a teacher rather than kept. See weak-Jupiter remedies and Thursday fasting.
- Saturday observance for Shani — 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 May: five Saturdays in Saturn’s last full month in your sixth house, and the 8th carries the exact Venus contact in its first hour. Sesame oil, black til, a peepal lamp after sundown. See the Shani remedies page and Saturday fasting.
- Close the sixth-house matter in May: the practical remedy. Saturn leaves your sixth house on 3 June. A dispute, a loan, a difficult colleague or a lingering health complaint is easier to settle while the planet that has been wearing it down is still there.
- Make the professional approach in May or June: exalted Jupiter is in your tenth house until 26 June and will not be exalted again for about twelve years. The application, the proposal, the conversation with someone senior — do it inside this window, and preferably in the second half of May when Ketu is well behind.
- Hanuman worship on the Tuesdays — 4, 11, 18 and 25 May: Mars sits in your eleventh house in Magha, the ancestral nakshatra, for all 31 days. Red flowers, sindoor, Hanuman Chalisa after sunset. See the Mangal remedies page and Tuesday fasting.
- Fix the wedding date in May or June: Venus, the ruler of your sign, is combust from 6 July to 17 September, and Saturn enters your seventh house on 3 June. Nothing in the second half of 2027 will be as clean as these two months.
- Ketu observance while it is in your career house: Ketu holds your tenth house all month in Ashlesha, from 22°16′ to 20°37′. Feeding a dog, giving a blanket away, and Ganesha before anything begun. See Ketu remedies and our Rahu–Ketu page.
In Summary
For Tula Rashi, May 2027 is a career month that reads as a partnership month. Exalted Jupiter holds your tenth house for all 31 days, direct, moving only 2°55′ and never leaving Ashlesha, while Ketu — which had been sitting on it — falls behind: 58 arc-minutes on the 1st, 5°32′ by the 31st. That is the month’s real improvement, and it is gradual rather than dated. Jupiter leaves your tenth house on 26 June and will not be exalted again for about twelve years.
Your ruler carries the visible story. Venus is exalted in your sixth house, exact with Saturn at 12:18 am on Saturday 8 May inside the Pisces gandanta, and reaches your seventh house at 8:45 am on Monday 10 May, where it stays. The New Moon of the 6th formed in that same seventh house, and the exalted Sun occupies it until the Sankranti at 12:14 pm on the 15th — three reasons for the partnership axis to be the loudest thing in your month.
Saturn spends its last full month in your sixth house, ending at 29°47′ of Pisces, and enters your seventh on 3 June 2027 — so what starts in May gets tested from June. Chandra days from 11:33 pm on 17 May to 7:02 am on 20 May, a Full Moon in your second house that same Thursday, and a fully open calendar inside the longest open run our tables hold. All of it is sign-level: which of the nine Libra padas holds your natal Moon, and where Venus, Jupiter and Saturn sit in your own chart, decides how much lands. For more, read April’s reading, what Tula Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our marriage delay page.
Saturn enters your seventh house on 3 June 2027
A partnership that begins under May’s New Moon will be examined by Saturn from June. What that means for you depends on your natal Venus, your dasha and which pada of Libra holds your Moon.
