When The Sun Is Strong

A strong Sun shows up as presence rather than noise. The native is trusted with responsibility early, holds a position without needing to defend it, and tends to be recognised by institutions — government, courts, large organisations, the state. Physically it gives a firm constitution, good bone strength and steady eyesight. The relationship with the father is either genuinely supportive or the father is himself a figure of standing. • Offer water to the rising Sun with both hands and copper vessel, facing east, before it climbs too high — the single most prescribed Surya remedy and the cheapest.
• Recite the Aditya Hridayam or Om Suryaya Namah on Sundays. The classical Graha Shanti japa count for the Sun is 7,000.
• Donate wheat, jaggery, copper or red cloth on a Sunday, and avoid salt on that day if you keep the fast.
• Serve your father and men older than you in his position — the Sun's remedy is behavioural before it is ritual, and this one is held to work fastest.
