Taurus Rashifal July 2027 (Vrishabha Rashi): Your Ruler Goes Combust on 6 July

Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji

The single most consequential fact in a Vrishabha reading for July 2027 is that your ruling planet disappears. Venus is a morning star for the first five days of the month and then slips inside 10° of the Sun. Shukra asta runs from 6 July to 17 September 2027 — seventy-three days, with the conjunction on 12 August — and for all of it the planet that governs your sign is invisible from Earth and, in classical terms, unable to bless a beginning.

Where it happens matters as much as that it happens. Venus spends the first twenty-two days of July in Gemini, which is your second house of income, speech, savings and family. It crosses into Cancer and your third house at 1:42 am on Friday 23 July. So your ruler goes dark inside your money house and then leaves it — and the New Moon of the 4th forms in that same second house, at 17°42′ of Gemini.

The compensation is genuine and it sits in your fourth house. Jupiter is in Leo for all thirty-one days, running from 0°51′ to 6°54′ of Magha, in the house of home, mother and land. This is its first full month there. Mars is in the same house until 4:24 am on Monday 5 July, when it leaves for Virgo and your fifth. And the Moon returns to Vrishabha Rashi twice in July, which only one other sign can say.

Seventy-Three Days of Shukra Asta, Beginning in Your Second House

Combustion is not a punishment; it is a geometry. Venus is drawing level with the Sun as seen from Earth, and once the gap falls inside 10° the planet is lost in the glare. It was 11°52′ from the Sun at the end of June, and it crosses the line on 6 July. From there it keeps closing until the exact conjunction on 12 August, then opens out again and returns to visibility on 17 September.

The classical consequence is that the marriage calendar shuts. That is precisely why the 82-day open run which began on 15 April ends on 5 July — not because of anything in the tithi, but because Venus goes dark on the 6th. Then Chaturmas begins on Wednesday 14 July and runs to 10 November, closing the same door on independent grounds. For a Vrishabha reader this is a double closure on the planet that rules you, and it is worth knowing it is astronomy rather than misfortune.

Venus is also busier this month than any other body. It crosses three nakshatra boundaries: Ardra at 1:18 am on Sunday 4 July, Punarvasu at 10:19 pm on Wednesday 14 July, and Pushya at 6:44 pm on Sunday 25 July. It passes from Rahu’s star into Jupiter’s and then into Saturn’s, covering 38°07′ in thirty-one days at close to its maximum speed. Invisible and fast is an odd combination, and it describes the month well: a great deal happens to your money and your comfort, and very little of it is announced.

A New Moon in Your Money House, and Mercury Turning Direct in It

Your second house is unusually well attended for the first three weeks. It holds the Sun until the 17th, Venus until the 23rd, and Mercury in its own sign until the 30th. Mercury and Venus are exact at 2:52 pm on Thursday 1 July at 3°41′ of Gemini — the ruler of your second house and the ruler of your sign, meeting inside the house of income on the first day of the month.

Mercury then does the two things it needs to do. It clears 12° from the Sun on 2 July, ending the combustion that began in mid-June, and it turns direct at 1:10 am on Monday 5 July at 3°52′ of Gemini after twenty-five days of retrograde motion. It re-enters Ardra going forward at 1:58 am on Wednesday 14 July and Punarvasu at 3:39 am on Sunday 25 July. For a sign whose money house is ruled by Mercury, that is the most useful sequence in the month.

The New Moon lands in the same house at 8:32 am on Sunday 4 July, at 17°42′ of Gemini in Ardra pada 4. A New Moon in the second house is a reset on earning and on speech: what you are worth, what you charge, what you say about it. Coming the day before Mercury stations direct, it reads as the low point of a cycle that is about to reverse rather than as a beginning in its own right. The practical instruction is to plan in the first four days and act from the 5th.

Jupiter’s First Full Month in Your Fourth House

Jupiter crossed into Leo on 26 June 2027, losing the exaltation it held in Cancer, and July is its first complete month in your fourth house. It runs from 0°51′ to 6°54′, entirely inside Magha, and changes pada twice — into pada 2 on 14 July and pada 3 on 30 July. We give those as days rather than minutes because a pada edge depends on the ayanamsa a calendar chooses, and Jupiter at a fifth of a degree a day cannot defend a minute against that.

Jupiter in the fourth is one of the better long transits a Vrishabha reader gets, and it lasts into 2028. The fourth house is the house of the home itself, of the mother, of land and of the sense of being settled. Magha’s lord is Ketu, so Jupiter spends July in the nakshatra of the node that sits in your third house — a slightly unsettled star for a settling planet, which reads as expansion that arrives with paperwork attached.

Mars is in that fourth house with Jupiter until 4:24 am on Monday 5 July, at 27°44′ of Leo, so the two are not conjunct — Jupiter is at the start of the sign and Mars at the end of it. Mars then crosses into Virgo and your fifth house, covers 15°27′ in twenty-six days, and enters Hasta at 7:19 pm on Thursday 22 July. Mars in the fifth is energy pointed at children, study, sport and speculation. It is a better placement for effort than for gambling.

Two Chandra Windows, and a Ninth-House Full Moon on Guru Purnima

The Moon reaches Vrishabha Rashi twice in July, which only Mithuna also manages. The first window runs from 2:42 am on Thursday 1 July to 4:13 am on Saturday 3 July — forty-nine hours thirty-one minutes — and the second from 11:38 am on Wednesday 28 July to 2:29 pm on Friday 30 July, fifty hours fifty-one minutes. Both sit in the best part of their week, and the first one falls inside the only open stretch the month has.

The Full Moon fills your ninth house at 9:14 pm on Sunday 18 July, at 1°36′ of Capricorn in Uttara Ashadha pada 2. This is Guru Purnima, and there is a neat piece of arithmetic in it: the Purnima tithi ends at exactly 9:14 pm, because a Full Moon is the moment the tithi closes. The ninth house is father, teacher, dharma and long journeys, so a Full Moon there on the day set aside for the teacher is a coincidence of calendar and sky that a Vrishabha reader can actually use.

Rahu holds the same ninth house all month, sliding from 19°02′ to 17°23′ and staying inside Shravana pada 3 throughout. The Full Moon at 1°36′ is more than seventeen degrees from Rahu, so it is a ninth-house Full Moon rather than a Full Moon on the node — illumination, not distortion. Ketu is opposite in your third house, in Ashlesha pada 1, and gains company from the 17th as the Sun crosses in.

Week by Week

Thirty-one days, Thursday to Saturday: five Thursdays, five Fridays, five Saturdays. Five Fridays in the month your ruler goes combust is worth using rather than regretting — the observance matters more when the planet is weak, not less. Both of your Chandra windows fall in the same weekday slot, which is a small oddity of the Moon’s period: Thursday to Saturday in the first, Wednesday to Friday in the second.

1–7 July

The whole of the month’s permission is in this week. The Moon is on Vrishabha Rashi from 2:42 am on Thursday the 1st until 4:13 am on Saturday the 3rd, with Mercury and Venus exact in your second house at 2:52 pm on the first day. Mercury comes out of combustion on Friday the 2nd. The New Moon forms in your second house at 8:32 am on Sunday the 4th. Monday the 5th carries Mercury turning direct at 1:10 am, Mars changing house at 4:24 am, Rath Yatra, and the last open day of the year’s longest clear run. From Tuesday the 6th your ruler is dark.

8–14 July

A quiet week with a crowded Wednesday. Mercury is direct and uncombust in its own sign in your second house, which makes this the right week to price something, correct an invoice or reopen a stalled negotiation. Then Wednesday the 14th does four things: Mercury re-enters Ardra at 1:58 am, Devshayani Ekadashi falls and Chaturmas begins, Jupiter reaches Magha pada 2 in your fourth house, and Venus enters Punarvasu at 10:19 pm. Nothing on the 14th is dramatic and all of it is structural.

15–21 July

The Sun leaves your money house. Karka Sankranti falls at 5:42 am on Saturday the 17th, moving the Sun into Cancer and your third house, where Ketu already sits. On Sunday the 18th the Full Moon fills your ninth house at 9:14 pm on Guru Purnima, and the Purnima tithi ends at the same instant. The Sun enters Pushya at 5:35 pm on Tuesday the 20th. A ninth-house Full Moon on the teacher’s day is the week’s best moment for anything to do with a guru, a father, or a long-postponed journey of the mind.

22–28 July

Your ruler changes house and your second Chandra window opens. Mars enters Hasta at 7:19 pm on Thursday the 22nd, and Saturn clears 3°20′ of Aries in your twelfth house around the same date, leaving the Revati–Ashwini gandanta it has been inside since 3 June. Venus crosses into your third house at 1:42 am on Friday the 23rd. Mercury enters Punarvasu on Sunday the 25th and Venus reaches Pushya that evening. From 11:38 am on Wednesday the 28th the Moon is back on your sign.

29–31 July

Three days, two of them yours. The Moon holds Vrishabha Rashi until 2:29 pm on Friday the 30th, and Mercury crosses into Cancer and your third house at 6:28 pm the same day, emptying your second house of everything for the first time since May. Jupiter enters Magha pada 3 in your fourth house on the 30th as well. Use Thursday the 29th and Friday morning the 30th for anything that needs your own weight behind it; the 31st is a Saturday with Saturn in your twelfth and is better spent resting.

Career and Money for Vrishabha Rashi

Money first, because that is where the month puts its attention. Your second house holds three planets for most of July and receives a New Moon on the 4th. That is a strong signature on the face of it, and it is complicated by exactly one thing: the ruler of your sign, which is also the natural benefic of wealth, is combust inside that house from the 6th. Read it as income that continues but is not visible — a payment that is agreed and not yet received, a raise that exists in principle. Mercury direct from the 5th in its own sign is the corrective: it makes the documentation reliable even when the goodwill is dim.

Your tenth house is Aquarius and it is empty for all thirty-one days, and its ruler Saturn is debilitated in your twelfth. Career therefore has no direct signature this month, which is not the same as no movement: with the ninth house taking a Full Moon on the 18th and Rahu sitting in it, what moves is your sense of direction rather than your position. A Vrishabha reader who spends July deciding what the next role should be, rather than applying for one, is reading the sky correctly. Our career page covers the observances and the financial remedies page the rest.

One thing not to do. With Venus combust, this is a poor month for buying anything decorative, expensive and irreversible — jewellery, a vehicle, a renovation chosen for its looks. The classical reasoning and the practical reasoning agree here: judgement about value is what a combust Venus impairs. The vehicle muhurat page for July 2027 shows how little of the month survives the filters, and why.

Home, Family and Partnership

Home is the best part of the chart. Jupiter holds your fourth house for the whole month, and it will hold it into 2028. For a Vrishabha reader this is the transit that supports a move, an extension, a purchase of land, or simply a household that becomes easier to be in. Mars shares the house for the first four days and then leaves, which removes friction rather than energy. If a domestic decision has been waiting for the right year, this is the right year — though not, because of Chaturmas and the asta, the right month to formalise it. The griha pravesh page for July 2027 shows what the closures leave.

Partnership is where the combustion bites. Your seventh house, Scorpio, is empty all month, and Venus — which for Vrishabha rules both the first house and the sixth — is invisible from the 6th. There is nothing here that says a relationship goes wrong; there is a great deal that says a decision made in July will be made on incomplete information. If a marriage date is under discussion, the honest answer is that the classical calendar reopens after 17 September and improves further in November when Chaturmas ends. The marriage muhurat page sets out the arithmetic without softening it, and our page on delay is for the readers this frustrates.

Your fifth house gains Mars from the 5th, so children and study get the month’s active energy. Mars in Virgo is meticulous rather than forceful, and in Hasta from the 22nd it becomes more so. For an examination, a coaching decision or a skill being practised daily, the second half of July is better than the first.

Health

Saturn sits in your twelfth house all month, debilitated, moving only from 2°18′ to 3°34′. The twelfth is sleep, hospitals, expenditure and withdrawal, and Saturn there is a classic signature for disturbed rest and for a body that quietly runs an energy deficit. It clears the Revati–Ashwini gandanta around the 22nd, which is when the diffuse quality of it tends to ease. Nothing in this asks for alarm; it asks for earlier nights.

Use the Chandra windows. The first, 2:42 am on 1 July to 4:13 am on 3 July, falls inside the only open stretch of the month and is the better of the two for beginning a treatment. The second, 11:38 am on 28 July to 2:29 pm on 30 July, is longer by eighty minutes and comes with Mars settled in your fifth and Mercury direct, which suits a change of routine rather than a new diagnosis. Between them, Mars in the fifth from the 5th favours regular physical work over intensity.

Remedies for Vrishabha Rashi in July 2027

Four conditions define the month: your ruler combust from the 6th inside your second house, Jupiter’s first full month in your fourth, Mercury direct and uncombust in your money house from the 5th, and debilitated Saturn in your twelfth throughout.

  • Shukra observance on the Fridays — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 July: the most important item on this list. Four of the five Fridays fall inside Shukra asta, which is when a weak ruler most needs the support. White cloth, rice and ghee, something fragrant offered rather than worn, and no purchase of jewellery on the strength of it. See Shukra remedies and Friday fasting.
  • Budh observance on the Wednesdays — 7, 14, 21 and 28 July: Mercury rules your second house and turns direct in it on the 5th. Green cloth, moong, a written record kept properly. The 14th and 28th are the two that carry other events and are the more potent. See Budh remedies and Wednesday fasting.
  • Guru worship on the Thursdays — 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 July: five Thursdays, Jupiter’s first full month in your fourth house, and Guru Purnima on the 18th. Turmeric, chana dal, yellow given to a teacher rather than kept. See weak-Jupiter remedies and Thursday fasting.
  • Saturday observance for the twelfth house — 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 July: Saturn is debilitated in your house of expenditure and sleep, in a gandanta until about the 22nd. Sesame oil, black til, a peepal lamp after sundown, and something given without being counted. See the Shani remedies page and Saturday fasting.
  • Guru Purnima on Sunday 18 July: the Full Moon forms at 9:14 pm in your ninth house of the teacher, and the Purnima tithi ends at that same instant. If there is one day in July to formally acknowledge someone who taught you, the arithmetic picked it.
  • Finish anything financial in the first five days: not a ritual, the practical use of the reading. Venus goes combust on the 6th and Chaturmas begins on the 14th. Whatever needs a blessing rather than a signature belongs before Tuesday the 6th.
  • Keep both Chandra windows clear: 1 to 3 July and 28 to 30 July. Vrishabha is one of only two rashis that get two of them this month, and they are the two stretches when your own sign is lit.

In Summary

For Vrishabha Rashi, July 2027 is the month your ruler goes dark. Venus enters combustion on 6 July and stays there until 17 September, and it does it inside your second house of income before crossing into your third at 1:42 am on the 23rd. The New Moon of the 4th forms in that same money house, and Mercury — which rules it — turns direct there at 1:10 am on the 5th. Money keeps moving; the visibility of it does not.

The counterweight is your fourth house. Jupiter holds it for all thirty-one days in its first full month there, running from 0°51′ to 6°54′ of Magha and changing pada on the 14th and the 30th. Home, land and the mother are the part of the chart that improves in July, and the improvement is a transit that lasts into 2028 rather than a moment.

Three dates carry the month. Monday 5 July, the last open day of the year’s longest clear run, with Mercury turning direct and Mars changing house on it. Sunday 18 July at 9:14 pm, the Full Moon in your ninth house on Guru Purnima. And Wednesday 14 July, when Chaturmas begins and closes what the asta had not already shut. All of this is sign-level; which of the nine Taurus padas holds your natal Moon, and where Venus sits in your own chart, decides how much of it lands. For more, read June’s reading, what Vrishabha Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our page on money remedies.

Your ruler is combust from 6 July to 17 September 2027

How much a Shukra asta of seventy-three days matters depends on where Venus sits in your own chart and which dasha is running — the sign-level reading cannot tell you that.
