Taurus Rashifal March 2027 (Vrishabha Rashi): A New Moon in Your Tenth House
Published 2026-08-21 | Live Pandit Ji
Four separate things move into your tenth house this month and none of them is a coincidence of reading — they are four dated instants. The Sun is already there. The New Moon forms there at 2:59 pm on Monday 8 March. Mercury arrives at 5:00 am on Friday 12 March, five days after turning direct. And Venus, which rules Vrishabha Rashi, gets there at 6:47 pm on Sunday 21 March.
A tenth-house New Moon is the cleanest career signature the lunar year offers, because a New Moon is the start of a cycle rather than the end of one, and the tenth house is position, work and public standing. It falls on the 8th, which is inside the only open fortnight the month has. Everything about March for Taurus follows from getting that sequencing right.
Mercury Turns Direct on 3 March, in Your Ninth
At 6:02 pm on Wednesday 3 March, Mercury ends its retrograde at 26°41′ of Capricorn — your ninth house — in the nakshatra Dhanishta. The retrograde had run since 11:05 pm on 9 February, which is why the second half of last month felt like every arrangement involving a teacher, a mentor, a legal opinion or a journey kept being revised.
The station happens about a degree from Rahu, which sits at 25°30′ of the same sign and the same nakshatra on the 1st. Mercury turning around beside the north node in the ninth house has a specific flavour: the advice you were given in February was not wrong, but it was larger than the facts behind it. Re-read it on the 3rd rather than acting on the memory of it.
Mercury then leaves for your tenth on the 12th and ends the month at 22°50′ of Aquarius, having crossed into Shatabhisha on the 19th and Purva Bhadrapada in the small hours of the 30th. From the 12th onwards your communication planet is working on your career rather than on your beliefs.
Venus Over Rahu on Wednesday 17 March
The most precisely dated event of your month is your own ruler meeting the north node. At 7:23 am on Wednesday 17 March, Venus and Rahu are exact at 24°38′ of Capricorn, in Dhanishta, in your ninth house.
For Vrishabha Rashi that is worth reading carefully, because Venus is not a background planet in your chart; it is the planet the whole reading hangs from. Venus with Rahu is the classical picture of desire amplified past its object — a proposition that looks better than it is, an attraction that is genuinely felt and not well founded. In the ninth house it attaches to a teacher, a course, a foreign opportunity, a legal route or a person offering guidance.
The useful reading is not to refuse the thing. It is to notice that Venus leaves for your tenth house four days later, on the 21st, and to judge the offer from there — from what it does for your position, not from how it feels on the 17th. The observances for a node contact are on our Rahu-Ketu remedies page.
Your Third House Holds Three Bodies
Cancer is the third from Taurus, and by mid-month it holds Jupiter exalted, Ketu, and — from 12:30 am on Wednesday 10 March — a retrograde and debilitated Mars, which reverses out of Leo back into Cancer. All three spend the second half of the month inside Ashlesha, between 23° and 27° of the sign. Jupiter and Ketu were exact on Monday 1 March at 25°27′.
The third house is siblings, neighbours, short journeys, the written word and plain effort. Exalted Jupiter here — its best placement, and one it holds only until 26 June 2027 — is the good part: a sibling or a peer helps, and what you write or say is well received. Mars debilitated and retrograde in the same three degrees is the part that turns a conversation with a brother, sister or cousin sharp when it did not need to be. The two do not cancel; they alternate, and which one you get depends on whether you initiate or respond.
15 March Closes the Calendar for a Month
The Sun reaches Pisces at 6:55 am on Monday 15 March. Pisces is your eleventh house, so the Sun spends the second half of the month on income and networks, joining Saturn there.
That ingress is the Meena Sankranti, and it starts Meena Kharmas, which runs to 14 April 2027 and closes the whole stretch for weddings, house-warmings and other beginnings regardless of what any chart says. Immediately before it, Holashtak runs 14 to 21 March, ending at Holika Dahan on Sunday 21 March 2027. Between them, the last seventeen days of March are shut. The March 2027 marriage muhurat page counts the open days for the month, and the business and property page does the same for a signing or an opening — which is the one to read if the tenth-house New Moon is about starting something of your own.
So the shape is simple. The window for beginning is the 3rd to the 13th, with the New Moon on the 8th as its centre. After the 13th, work with what you started.
A Full Moon in Your Fifth House on Holi
The Phalguna Purnima — the Full Moon that Holi is counted from — forms at 4:13 pm on Monday 22 March at 7°18′ of Virgo, in Uttara Phalguni. Virgo is the fifth from Taurus.
The fifth house is children, romance, creative work and speculation, and it is the pleasantest place a Full Moon can land for a Taurus in a month otherwise busy with position and paperwork. It is a genuinely good date for a family celebration, for something you have made, or for a child’s achievement. Uttara Phalguni’s deity is Aryaman, associated with hospitality and with keeping faith in an arrangement, which suits the festival it carries. What it is not good for is a speculative position: a Full Moon is a peak, and the fifth house is where money staked on a hope sits.
Saturn: Eleven Weeks Before Sade Sati Begins
Saturn spends the whole month in Pisces, direct, moving from 18°49′ to 22°33′ and from the first pada of Revati into the second. Pisces is the eleventh from Taurus, and Saturn in the eleventh is one of its two genuinely favourable transits: slow, earned gain, and the patience to keep a long arrangement in place.
That ends on a fixed date. Saturn reaches Aries on 3 June 2027, and Aries is the twelfth from Taurus — which means Sade Sati begins for Vrishabha Rashi on that afternoon and runs, with one interruption, for about seven and a half years. It starts in its lightest phase, and Saturn retrogrades back into Pisces on 20 October 2027 for a few months before settling in Aries on 23 February 2028.
None of that is a reason for alarm in March. It is a reason to use March. The eleventh-house Saturn still holds for eleven more weeks, and anything you want secured under a favourable Saturn — a loan restructured, an arrangement formalised, a long-term commitment put in writing — is easier to arrange before June than after. The observances are on our Shani page.
The Month’s Fixed Points
- Monday 1 March — Jupiter and Ketu are exact at 25°27′ of Cancer, in your third house.
- Wednesday 3 March, 6:02 pm — Mercury turns direct at 26°41′ of Capricorn, in your ninth. February’s revisions stop.
- Monday 8 March, 2:59 pm — the New Moon forms in your tenth house at 23°18′ of Aquarius. The month’s date to begin.
- Wednesday 10 March, 12:30 am — retrograde Mars reverses into your third house, debilitated in Cancer.
- Friday 12 March, 5:00 am — Mercury enters your tenth house, direct.
- 13 March 4:54 pm to 15 March 8:51 pm — the Moon crosses Vrishabha Rashi itself, just over two days. Unhelpfully, Holashtak starts in the middle of it.
- Sunday 14 March — Holashtak begins. The last clear day for a beginning is the 13th.
- Monday 15 March, 6:55 am — the Sun enters Pisces, your eleventh house. Meena Kharmas runs from here to 14 April.
- Wednesday 17 March, 7:23 am — Venus, your ruler, meets Rahu exactly at 24°38′ of Capricorn, in your ninth house.
- Sunday 21 March — Holika Dahan; and at 6:47 pm Venus enters your tenth house.
- Monday 22 March, 4:13 pm — the Full Moon fills your fifth house at 7°18′ of Virgo.
- Thursday 1 April, 7:42 pm — Mars turns direct at 26°41′ of Cancer, in your third house.
- 3 June 2027 — Saturn enters Aries and your Sade Sati begins. Eleven weeks from the end of this month.
Week by Week
March 2027 runs thirty-one days from a Monday to a Wednesday, which gives four clean weeks and three extra days at the end.
1–7 March
Jupiter and Ketu are exact in your third house on Monday the 1st. Mercury turns direct on Wednesday the 3rd at 6:02 pm, which is the week’s working date: from that evening, the ninth-house matter that kept changing in February settles into a version you can act on. Venus crosses into Shravana in the early hours of Friday the 5th, still in your ninth. Use the week to get the position clear before the New Moon acts on it.
8–14 March
The most consequential week of the month for Vrishabha Rashi. The New Moon lands in your tenth house at 2:59 pm on Monday the 8th — that is the date to open a conversation about your position, send the application, or start the thing. Mars reverses into your third at 12:30 am on Wednesday the 10th and Mercury reaches your tenth at 5:00 am on Friday the 12th. Saturday the 13th is the last clear day before Holashtak.
15–21 March
The closed week, and the week your ruler needs watching. Kharmas begins with the Sun’s entry into your eleventh at 6:55 am on Monday the 15th. Venus meets Rahu in your ninth at 7:23 am on Wednesday the 17th — do not commit to the guidance, the course or the offer on that day. Holika Dahan is Sunday the 21st, and Venus changes house that evening. Read, review, celebrate; do not sign.
22–31 March
The Full Moon fills your fifth house at 4:13 pm on Monday the 22nd, so the week after Holi is the family and creative one. From then on your tenth house holds the Sun’s recent passage, Mercury and Venus, which is the best-supported career configuration you get this quarter — but Kharmas is still running, so this is execution rather than launch. Mars is nearly stationary at the close: 26°41′ of Cancer on the 31st is exactly where it turns direct on 1 April.
Career and Money for Vrishabha Rashi
This is a career month by placement, not by interpretation. Your tenth house receives the New Moon on the 8th, Mercury on the 12th and Venus on the 21st, and the Sun occupies it until the 15th. That is four of the six moving bodies passing through one house inside three weeks. If you have been waiting to raise the question of your role, the 8th to the 12th is the window with both a fresh lunar cycle and a direct Mercury in the house concerned.
Money reads through the eleventh house, and the eleventh takes the Sun from the 15th while Saturn holds it all month. That combination — Sun and Saturn in the house of gains — is slow rather than sudden: what arrives in the second half of March arrives because of work already done, not because of something new. The caution is on the 17th, when Venus over Rahu can make a proposition that promises a shortcut look reasonable. The fifth-house Full Moon on the 22nd is the second caution, for the same money in a different form: a peak is where a speculative position is closed, not opened.
Family, Relationships and Home
Your seventh house is empty this month, so a partnership is neither pressed nor tested by transit — it runs on whatever footing it already has. The relationship traffic is in the third and fifth instead, which means the people involved are siblings, cousins, neighbours and children rather than a spouse.
The third house is the one to handle with care from the 10th, when debilitated Mars joins exalted Jupiter and Ketu there. The pattern is a sharp exchange with a brother, sister or close peer about something small, in a house where Jupiter is simultaneously offering the most generous support it can give. Since Jupiter is retrograde and Mars is retrograde too, the classical reading is that both the help and the friction concern something already begun rather than something new — an old arrangement between you and a sibling, revisited.
The Full Moon in your fifth on the 22nd is the month’s warm date. It falls on Holi, in a house of celebration, in a nakshatra associated with hospitality. That is as good an alignment as a festival gets for Vrishabha Rashi.
Health
Your sixth house — Libra — is empty all month, which is the quiet reading: no transit is pressing on health directly. What is present is Mars debilitated and retrograde in your third house from the 10th, and the third relates to the arms, shoulders and the upper back. A strain from repetitive work or from lifting badly is the likely form, not an illness.
The Sun joining Saturn in your eleventh from the 15th is worth one note for energy rather than health: Saturn slows and the Sun in a Saturn-occupied house tends to make the second half of a month feel longer than it is. Keep the routine steady. The four Fridays — 5, 12, 19 and 26 March, Venus being your ruling planet — are the natural days for whatever regime you keep.
Remedies for Vrishabha Rashi in March 2027
Three live conditions: your ruler crossing Rahu in the ninth house on the 17th, a debilitated retrograde Mars arriving in the third on the 10th, and an eleventh-house Saturn with eleven weeks left before Sade Sati starts.
- Shukra observance on the Fridays — 5, 12, 19 and 26 March: Venus rules Vrishabha and it spends the month approaching, meeting and leaving Rahu. The 19th, two days after the exact contact, is the one to keep. White cloth, rice and ghee, and something fragrant offered rather than worn. The forms are on our Shukra remedies page, and Friday fasting is the usual observance.
- Rahu observance in the middle of the month: the 17th is the exact date, and the ninth house is where it lands. Black or dark blue cloth given away, urad dal, and a Durga path if that is your practice. Our Rahu-Ketu page and the weak-Rahu remedies cover both nodes.
- Hanuman worship on the Tuesdays — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 March: for a Mars that is retrograde all month and debilitated from the 10th, in your third house. The 9th is the one to keep if you keep one, since Mars changes sign that night. Sindoor and the Hanuman Chalisa; more on the Mangal remedies page.
- Guru worship on the Thursdays — 4, 11, 18 and 25 March: Jupiter is exalted in your third house and is the strongest support in your chart until 26 June 2027. Turmeric, chana dal, and yellow given to a teacher or a younger sibling rather than kept. See weak-Jupiter remedies and Thursday fasting.
- Saturday observance for Shani — 6, 13, 20 and 27 March: not for a difficulty, but for the eleven weeks of favourable eleventh-house Saturn that remain before 3 June 2027. Sesame oil, black til, a peepal lamp after dark. Forms on the Shani remedies page.
- Raise the career question between the 8th and the 12th: the practical use of the reading. The New Moon is in your tenth on the 8th; Mercury joins it, direct, on the 12th; Holashtak starts on the 14th.
- Do not date a beginning to 15 March – 14 April: Meena Kharmas covers it, and that has nothing to do with your chart. The muhurat pages give the open days either side.
- Settle a long arrangement before June: the one forward-looking item. An eleventh-house Saturn signing off is a better moment for a long commitment than a twelfth-house one taking over.
In Summary
For Vrishabha Rashi, March 2027 is a tenth-house month with one dated hazard in the ninth. The New Moon forms in your house of work and position at 2:59 pm on Monday 8 March; Mercury turns direct at 6:02 pm on Wednesday the 3rd and reaches that same house at 5:00 am on Friday the 12th; Venus, your ruler, arrives on the 21st. Four bodies through one house in three weeks is not a subtle emphasis.
The hazard is Venus meeting Rahu exactly at 24°38′ of Capricorn at 7:23 am on Wednesday 17 March, in your ninth house. Your ruler over the north node in the house of guidance is the one configuration this month that argues for delay: hear the offer, then judge it from the 21st, when Venus has moved on.
Around those, the calendar does most of the work. Holashtak runs 14 to 21 March, Holika Dahan falls on Sunday the 21st, and Meena Kharmas opens with the Sun’s entry into your eleventh house at 6:55 am on the 15th and closes on 14 April — so the whole second half is shut for beginnings, and your usable window is the 3rd to the 13th. The Full Moon lands warmly in your fifth house at 4:13 pm on Monday the 22nd. Your third house carries exalted Jupiter, Ketu and a debilitated retrograde Mars from the 10th, which is where a sibling or a peer both helps and irritates.
The one date past this month worth writing down is 3 June 2027, when Saturn leaves your favourable eleventh house for your twelfth and Sade Sati begins for Taurus. How any of this actually lands depends on your natal Moon’s degree and pada rather than on the sign alone. For context, read February’s reading, what Vrishabha Rashi settles and what it leaves open, and the March 2027 business and property muhurat arithmetic if the tenth-house New Moon is about something of your own.
Sade Sati starts for Taurus on 3 June 2027
Which phase you feel and how hard depends on your natal Moon’s exact degree, not on the sign. A reading works from the birth chart and the running dasha.
