Amrit Siddhi Yoga 2026-2027: All Dates, With Times

Published 2026-10-27 | Live Pandit Ji

Amrit Siddhi Yoga is a weekday paired with exactly one nakshatra, a different one for each day of the week. Because each weekday has a single partner, it is far rarer than the broader Sarvartha Siddhi: from 1 November 2026 to 30 December 2027 it touches 29 vaars, and the nakshatra is already present at sunrise on fourteen of them. The rest of 2026 has two. Wednesday 11 November holds Anuradha from the 06:40 sunrise until 11:38, and on Friday 18 December Revati begins at 16:10 and lasts to the next sunrise, so that one exists only for an almanac that counts overlap.

The Seven Pairs

TuesdayAshwini4
WednesdayAnuradha4
ThursdayPushya5
FridayRevati5

Each of these pairs is also on the Sarvartha Siddhi table for its weekday, so every date below is a Sarvartha Siddhi as well; Amrit Siddhi is the narrower selection inside it. The Thursday pair is Pushya, which is why almanacs sometimes call a Guru Pushya “Guru Pushyamrit”. Several almanacs also strike out an Amrit Siddhi that falls on certain tithis, and the tithi lists they use for that differ. This page applies no such cancellation and prints every pairing; if your almanac leaves one out, that is the likely reason.

Why the Dates Come in Four-Week Clusters

Measured across these spans, the Moon comes back to the same nakshatra every 27.3 days on average, while the same weekday comes back every 28. So when a pair falls once, it tends to fall again four weeks later, with the nakshatra arriving on average about 16 hours earlier against the weekday each time. After a few rounds the nakshatra has slid back into the previous day and the pair disappears for months, until the Moon’s cycle brings it round to that weekday again. That is why June 2027 has five, the most of any month, while six months have only one.

The Tuesday Ashwini run of 2027 shows the slide most clearly. It falls on 4 May, 1 June, 29 June and 27 July, four Tuesdays exactly 28 days apart. On 4 May, Ashwini arrives only at 03:14 the next morning, in the last hours of the vaar. On 1 June it arrives at 12:49, in the middle of the day. By 29 June it has begun before the Tuesday dawn, so it holds the sunrise and lasts until 21:48 that night. On 27 July it is still there at sunrise but ends at 05:52, 13 minutes later, which makes it the shortest Amrit Siddhi of the range. The pair does not return before the end of 2027.

The longest window is on Thursday 16 December 2027, 21 h 55 min of Pushya. In seven rows the nakshatra arrives only after sunset; a calendar read at sunrise shows none of those, and lists the nakshatra under the next morning’s weekday, where it no longer makes the pair. The months by count: November 2026 1, December 2026 1, January 2027 1, February 2027 2, March 2027 2, April 2027 4, May 2027 3, June 2027 5, July 2027 2, August 2027 1, September 2027 1, October 2027 1, November 2027 3, December 2027 2.

How the Windows Were Computed

A vaar begins at one sunrise and ends at the next. The nakshatra instants are from the JPL DE421 ephemeris with the Lahiri ayanamsa, cut to the minute in IST and the same for the whole country; the sunrises are New Delhi’s from the site’s daily panchang. Each row is the overlap of the two, and the last column says whether the nakshatra holds the moment the vaar begins, which is the reading a sunrise calendar uses. A city far east or west of New Delhi has its sunrise some minutes away, which can flip that last column where a window starts or ends close to dawn.

What the Custom Uses It For

“Amrit” is nectar, and muhurta custom ranks the pairing among the more favourable weekday combinations for beginning ordinary work, travel or a purchase. As with any single limb, it is not a muhurat by itself; the muhurat pages test the tithi, the panchang yoga and each occasion’s own nakshatra list as well, and a wedding or griha pravesh date is chosen on those rules rather than on this table. No row here describes how anything begun in it will go, and none is a signal to buy, sell or hold.

The same spans give the Dwipushkar and Tripushkar dates and the Ravi Yoga list. The nakshatras of the seven pairs are each introduced in the 27 nakshatras guide, and Revati and Ashwini have pages of their own. The daily panchang shows the nakshatra at sunrise for any date, and the panchang calculator does the same for your own city. In Hindi: अमृत सिद्धि योग 2026–27: सभी तारीखें और समय.
