Aries Rashifal April 2027 (Mesha Rashi): The Exalted Sun Comes Home on 14 April
Published 2026-08-21 | Live Pandit Ji
April 2027 is cut almost exactly in half for Mesha Rashi, and the cut has a time on it: 3:23 pm on Wednesday 14 April, when the Sun leaves Pisces and enters Aries. Aries is where the Sun is exalted. So at that instant the Sun is both on your own sign and at its own maximum strength — the one configuration a Mesha reader waits all year for.
Before it, the first thirteen days belong to your twelfth house, and they are crowded. Pisces holds Saturn, the Sun until the 14th, Mercury from the 5th and Venus from the 15th, and the New Moon forms there at 5:21 am on Wednesday 7 April at 22°42′, less than a degree from Saturn. The twelfth house is expenditure, distance, sleep, hospitals, foreign matters and everything that drains without announcing itself. The Sun then meets Saturn exactly there at 10:48 pm on Wednesday 7 April.
And the month opens with your own ruling planet changing direction. Mars turns direct at 7:42 pm on Thursday 1 April at 26°41′ of Cancer, ending the retrograde that began on 10 March. It is still debilitated and still in your fourth house, but it stops working against you on the first evening of the month.
Your Ruler Turns Direct on 1 April
Mars rules Mesha Rashi, and for the whole of March it was moving backwards in Cancer — the sign of its debilitation — in your fourth house of home, mother, property and peace of mind. That is the least comfortable placement your ruler gets. At 7:42 pm on the 1st it stations and begins moving forward again.
Do not expect the change to be dramatic. A planet just out of station barely moves: Mars covers only about three and a half degrees in the twenty-five days from the 1st to the 26th, which is why the domestic matter that stalled in March improves slowly rather than resolving. The real release is 11:28 am on Monday 26 April, when Mars finally leaves Cancer for Leo — out of debilitation, into your fifth house, entering Magha. From that morning your ruler is comfortable for the first time since early March, and its energy moves from the house of home to the house of children, creativity and risk.
So the fourth house has two occupants leaving and none arriving: Mars departs on the 26th, and Ketu and an exalted Jupiter remain. Jupiter turns direct in that same house at 7:58 am on Tuesday 13 April at 22°45′, and it is exact with Ketu on Tuesday 20 April at 22°50′ of Cancer. An exalted Jupiter in the fourth is one of the better property and family transits available, and it holds until Jupiter leaves Cancer on 26 June 2027.
Jupiter Moves Fourteen Arc-Minutes in Thirty Days
This is worth stating precisely because it is unusual. Jupiter begins April at 23°00′ of Cancer and ends it at 23°14′ — a net movement of fourteen arc-minutes across the entire month. It falls to 22°45′ at its station on the 13th and recovers from there, so its total range for April is twenty-nine arc-minutes, less than half a degree, all of it inside the second pada of Ashlesha.
Practically: the fourth-house benefit does not develop this month, it sits. Whatever an exalted Jupiter in your house of home is going to give — a property matter, a family arrangement, the mother’s wellbeing, a sense of being settled — is already in place and does not change through April. It begins to move in May, and it ends on 26 June.
The Twelfth-House Fortnight, and Sade Sati
Saturn is in Pisces, your twelfth house, moving from 22°33′ to 26°18′ and crossing from the second pada of Revati into the third. Saturn in the twelfth from the Moon sign is the first phase of Sade Sati for Mesha Rashi, and it runs until 3 June 2027, when Saturn enters Aries and the second — heaviest — phase begins on your own sign.
April is the phase’s most visible month, because it is the month everything else joins Saturn there. The New Moon forms in your twelfth house at 5:21 am on Wednesday the 7th. The Sun is exact with Saturn at 10:48 pm on Wednesday the 7th. Mercury arrives debilitated on Monday 5 April at 4:13 pm and is exact with Saturn at 6:33 pm on Monday 19 April at 24°55′. Venus arrives exalted at 3:16 pm on Thursday 15 April.
Read that as a fortnight of outgo and of low visibility rather than as misfortune. Sun with Saturn in the twelfth is the classic signature of effort that nobody sees and of a father or an authority figure being difficult at a distance. Mercury debilitated there, exact with Saturn, is paperwork that goes wrong — a document returned, a message misread, a number entered incorrectly. The first three weeks of April are not when a Mesha reader should be signing anything they have not read twice.
The exalted Venus is the compensation, and it is real. Venus in the twelfth is spending, but exalted Venus in the twelfth spends on things worth having — comfort, rest, travel, a genuine kindness — and it also protects sleep, which the rest of this stack does not. From the 15th the twelfth house stops feeling like erosion and starts feeling like retreat.
The Sun on Mesha Rashi from 14 April
At 3:23 pm on Wednesday 14 April the Sun crosses into Aries, entering Ashwini. This is Mesha Sankranti — the Sun’s sidereal entry into the first sign — and for you it is the annual solar return: the Sun on your own rashi, exalted, for the rest of the month and beyond.
What an exalted Sun on the Moon sign actually does is restore initiative. It is not luck; it is the return of the sense that a decision you make will hold. Confidence, visibility, and other people’s willingness to treat you as the person in charge all recover from the middle of the month. It also brings a tendency to overreach — an exalted Sun in the first house is the placement most likely to mistake certainty for correctness — so the useful discipline for the second half of April is to keep the ambition and check the arithmetic.
Mercury follows it. Mercury enters Aries at 8:10 am on Thursday 22 April, and the two are exact at 2:51 am on Thursday 29 April at 14°08′ of Aries, in Bharani. Mercury sharing a degree with the Sun on your own sign is a burnt-out Mercury — the mind running at the same pitch as the ego, which reads to you as clarity and to other people as insistence. Use the 22nd to the 27th for the conversation, not the 28th to the 30th.
Sixteen Open Days, All in the Second Half
Meena Kharmas — the closed period that runs while the Sun is in Pisces — ends on 14 April, the day the Sun reaches your sign. From 15 April to 30 April every single day is open: sixteen consecutive days with no Kharmas, no Holashtak, no Chaturmas and no combustion of Jupiter or Venus. That is the longest unbroken open stretch April 2027 could have had.
For Mesha Rashi the alignment is unusually clean, because the open stretch begins on the day the exalted Sun reaches your rashi. The formal calendar and your own chart open together. Our griha pravesh page for April 2027 works the day-by-day arithmetic, the vehicle muhurat page covers a purchase, and the marriage page lists the qualifying dates.

Week by Week
Thirty days, Thursday to Friday, which gives five Thursdays and five Fridays and only four of everything else. Mars rules Mesha Rashi, so Tuesday is your day: 6, 13, 20 and 27 April.
1–7 April
Mars turns direct in your fourth house at 7:42 pm on Thursday the 1st, which is the month’s first good news and the quietest. Mercury enters your twelfth debilitated at 4:13 pm on Monday the 5th. The week closes with the New Moon in that same twelfth house at 5:21 am on Wednesday the 7th — a week for settling and closing, not for opening. Kharmas is running throughout.
8–14 April
The hardest stretch, and then the turn. The week opens in the wake of the Sun’s exact contact with Saturn in your twelfth, at 10:48 pm on Wednesday the 7th; expect the first half of it to be flat, expensive or simply tiring. The Moon is on your sign from the evening of the 7th to late on the 9th, which helps. Jupiter turns direct in your fourth at 7:58 am on Tuesday the 13th. Then at 3:23 pm on Wednesday the 14th the Sun reaches Aries and both Kharmas and the twelfth-house fortnight end together.
15–21 April
The best week of the month for anything formal. Every day from the 15th is open, the exalted Sun is on your rashi, and exalted Venus enters your twelfth at 3:16 pm on Thursday the 15th. Monday the 19th carries Mercury exact with Saturn in your twelfth at 6:33 pm, and Jupiter is exact with Ketu in your fourth early on Tuesday the 20th — so that evening is worth leaving free of decisions. The Full Moon fills your seventh house at 3:57 am on Wednesday the 21st, which puts a partner or a close counterparty at the centre of that week.
22–30 April
Mercury reaches your own sign at 8:10 am on Thursday the 22nd, so thinking and speaking both come back to you after a fortnight of being borrowed by the twelfth house. Mars leaves debilitation at 11:28 am on Monday the 26th and enters your fifth. The one caution is the close: the Sun and Mercury share a degree on your rashi at 2:51 am on Thursday the 29th, which makes the last three days better for doing than for negotiating.
Career and Money for Mesha Rashi
Your tenth house is Capricorn and it holds Rahu all month, moving from 23°51′ to 22°16′ and backing out of Dhanishta into Shravana at 5:53 pm on Saturday 10 April. Rahu in the tenth is ambition without a settled shape — it produces opportunities that look larger than they are, unconventional routes that sometimes work, and a reputation that moves faster than the substance behind it. The nakshatra change on the 10th is the first shift in that transit’s texture in months: Shravana is the listening star, and the second half of April rewards a Mesha reader who gathers information about their position instead of announcing it.
The career pivot, though, is the Sun. From 14 April the exalted Sun is on your rashi and aspects your seventh; from the 22nd Mercury joins it. Professional conversations that went nowhere in the first fortnight — because Mercury was debilitated in your twelfth and exact with Saturn — should be reopened after the 22nd, and closed before the 28th.
Money runs the other way round. The twelfth house of outgo carries four bodies at different points in April, and the New Moon forms there on the 7th. The first fortnight is when money leaves: subscriptions, medical costs, travel, a family obligation, a payment you had forgotten. Exalted Venus there from the 15th improves the quality of the spending without reducing it. Set the month’s budget in the first week of April, not the third, and see our financial remedies page for the standing observances.
Home, Family and Partnership
The fourth house is the month’s standing story. Exalted Jupiter, Ketu, and a debilitated Mars until 11:28 am on the 26th — three bodies in the house of home, mother and property. Jupiter exalted there is protective and generous; Ketu there tends to make the home feel provisional, as if you are not fully settled in it; Mars debilitated there is friction under the roof, and it has been running since 10 March.
Two dates matter. 13 April, when Jupiter turns direct, is when a property or family matter that had been under review can move forward. 26 April, when Mars leaves, is when the friction lifts. The domestic mood of April therefore improves in two steps, and the last five days are the calmest at home since early March.
Partnership is dated differently. Your seventh house, Libra, is empty of planets all month, but the Full Moon forms there at 3:57 am on Wednesday 21 April at 6°24′, in the fourth pada of Chitra — and it happens while the exalted Sun sits opposite it on your own sign. A Full Moon in the seventh with the Sun in the first is the clearest picture a chart gives of the gap between what you want and what the other person wants. Nothing is wrong; the contrast is simply lit. It is also, for the same reason, the best date in April for a conversation that has been deferred, because both sides are visible at once. The Moon is on Libra from 4:31 pm on the 20th to 11:16 pm on the 22nd, which is the window that lunation sits inside.
Health
The twelfth house governs sleep, hospitals and convalescence, and it is the busiest house in your chart this month. That is not a warning about illness — it is a warning about depletion. Sun with Saturn there late on the 7th, and Mercury debilitated with Saturn there on the 19th, describe a body running on less than it needs while the mind insists it is fine. The first three weeks of April are when a Mesha reader should be sleeping more, not training harder.
Mars turning direct on the 1st and leaving debilitation on the 26th both help, in that order: the inflammation and the short temper that a debilitated retrograde Mars produces ease from the first evening and clear at the end of the month. Your Chandra days from 6:25 pm on Wednesday the 7th to 10:56 pm on Friday the 9th are the best window in April for beginning a regimen, and exalted Venus in the twelfth from the 15th is genuinely good for rest.
Remedies for Mesha Rashi in April 2027
Four conditions: Sade Sati’s first phase in your twelfth house with the Sun and Mercury both meeting Saturn there, an exalted Sun arriving on your rashi on the 14th, your debilitated ruler turning direct on the 1st and leaving Cancer on the 26th, and Rahu changing nakshatra in your tenth.
- Saturday observance for Shani — 3, 10, 17 and 24 April: the month’s central remedy, because both the Sun and Mercury meet Saturn in your twelfth house this month. Sesame oil, black til, a peepal lamp after sundown, and something given to someone who works with their hands. Forms on the Shani remedies page, and the full picture on our Sade Sati page.
- Surya arghya from Wednesday 14 April: water offered to the rising Sun once it is on your own sign and exalted. This is the one month of the year when a Mesha reader’s Sun remedy is working with the transit rather than against it. Continue daily to the end of the month.
- Hanuman worship on the Tuesdays — 6, 13, 20 and 27 April: Mars rules your sign, turns direct on the 1st and is debilitated in your fourth house until the 26th. Red flowers, sindoor, and Hanuman Chalisa after sunset. See the Mangal remedies page and Tuesday fasting.
- Guru worship on the five Thursdays — 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 April: exalted Jupiter holds your fourth house and turns direct on the 13th. Turmeric, chana dal, and yellow given to a teacher rather than kept. See weak-Jupiter remedies and Thursday fasting.
- Shukra observance on the Fridays from the 16th — 16, 23 and 30 April: Venus is exalted in Pisces from 3:16 pm on the 15th, so these three Fridays carry a Venus at full strength. White cloth, rice and ghee, something fragrant offered rather than worn. See Shukra remedies and Friday fasting.
- Rahu observance around 10 April: Rahu changes nakshatra in your tenth house that evening. Blue or dark cloth given away, urad dal, mustard oil, given to a stranger rather than to family. See our Rahu-Ketu page.
- Begin between the 15th and the 27th: the practical use of the reading rather than a ritual. Every day from the 15th is open, the exalted Sun is on your sign, and Mercury joins it on the 22nd. Before the 28th, so the Sun-Mercury contact on the 29th does not sit on top of the decision.
- Sleep, in the first fortnight: a twelfth house carrying Saturn, the Sun, Mercury and then Venus is the chart asking for rest in the plainest language it has.
In Summary
For Mesha Rashi, April 2027 has one date above all others: 3:23 pm on Wednesday 14 April, when the Sun enters Aries and is exalted on your own sign. Everything before it belongs to the twelfth house — the New Moon on the 7th, the Sun exact with Saturn seventeen hours later the same night, Mercury debilitated there from the 5th — and everything after it belongs to you. Kharmas ends the same day, so from the 15th all sixteen remaining days of April are open.
The standing story is Saturn in the twelfth: the first phase of Sade Sati, direct, crossing from the second pada of Revati into the third. It ends on 3 June 2027 — but it ends by getting heavier, because Saturn then enters Aries and the second phase begins on your rashi. Saturn returns briefly to Pisces on 20 October 2027 before settling in Aries on 23 February 2028. April is the last full month of the lighter phase, which is a reason to use its open fortnight rather than save it.
Your own ruler improves twice. Mars turns direct at 7:42 pm on Thursday the 1st, and leaves the sign of its debilitation at 11:28 am on Monday the 26th for your fifth house. Between those dates it barely moves, so read early April as a stalled domestic matter easing rather than resolving. Exalted Jupiter in the same fourth house turns direct on the 13th and moves fourteen arc-minutes all month, which is the ephemeris saying plainly that home is stable and not yet changing.
Two dates to keep free. Monday the 19th evening and the small hours of Tuesday the 20th carry an exact conjunction each, in your twelfth house and your fourth. And the Full Moon fills your seventh at 3:57 am on Wednesday the 21st, opposite the exalted Sun on your rashi, which lights the difference between what you want and what your closest counterparty wants — useful if you let it be a conversation and costly if you let it be a contest. All of this is sign-level; which of the nine Aries padas holds your natal Moon, and where Saturn and Mars sit in your own chart, decides how much of it lands. For more, read March’s reading, what Mesha Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our Sade Sati page.
A solar return is worth reading against your own chart
Whether the exalted Sun on your rashi lifts your career or your health depends on your natal Sun, your tenth lord, and the dasha running — not on the Moon sign alone.
