Aries Rashifal December 2027 (Mesha Rashi): Your Ruler Reaches Its Exaltation in Your Tenth House on the Twenty-Seventh
Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji
Mars rules Mesha Rashi, and Mars is exalted in Capricorn. Capricorn is your tenth house, the house of work, standing and what the world can see you doing. At 12:57 pm on Monday 27 December, your ruler crosses into it.
An exalted ruler in the karma sthana is the strongest single thing that can happen to a chart’s working life on transit. It is not the whole month — it is the last five days of it — but the tenth house has been filling up all December in preparation. Rahu has held it since long before the month began. Venus arrives at 8:06 am on Wednesday 15 December. And around Thursday 23 December, Venus and Rahu come to the same degree there.
So this is a month that ends far stronger than it starts, in the one house where that is most visible. What sits on the other side of the ledger is your eighth house, where a burnt Mercury spends the first fortnight and where it meets the Sun exactly on the 12th, and your twelfth, where a retrograde Saturn finally stops going backwards at 8:45 am on Friday 24 December.
Three Bodies in Your Career House, and One of Them Exalted
Take the tenth house in order. Rahu occupies Capricorn for all thirty-one days, moving backwards from 10°55′ to 9°17′, and it reverses out of Shravana into Uttara Ashadha on Saturday 18 December. That is given as a day rather than a clock time on purpose: Rahu moves about three arcminutes an hour, so the minute of a nakshatra boundary crossing is not a number anyone can defend.
Venus reaches the same house at 8:06 am on the 15th, and it is the first genuinely benefic tenant your career house has had in months. Then, around Thursday the 23rd, Venus arrives at Rahu’s own degree — 9°44′ of Capricorn, in Uttara Ashadha pada 4.
That conjunction gets a day and not a minute, and the reason is worth stating. Our table computes it against the mean node. The mean and the true node can sit as much as one and three-quarter degrees apart, and Venus covers a degree and a bit per day, so choosing the other model moves the event by more than a day. A minute would be false precision. The day is real.
Venus with Rahu is an ambiguous combination and this page will not sell it as a gift. It inflates: an offer looks bigger, an audience looks warmer, a compliment looks like a commitment. In the tenth house that reads as professional attention that is real but exaggerated. Take the attention. Discount the numbers attached to it by a third.
Then Mars arrives exalted on the 27th, and the character of the house changes again — from attention to capacity. One caution about the arithmetic: Mars enters Capricorn at 0° and reaches only 3°29′ by the 31st, while Rahu is at 9°17′. They share the sign for five days but Mars never reaches the node’s degree in December — it ends the month five degrees forty-eight minutes short. So the two are same-sign associates rather than an exact pairing, and the sharper edge of a Mars–Rahu combination belongs to January rather than to this month.
What Exaltation Does and Does Not Mean Here
Exaltation is a property of the sign, so Mars is exalted from the first minute it crosses the boundary at 12:57 pm on the 27th. But the classical texts also give a single degree of deepest exaltation — twenty-eight degrees of Makara for Mars — and your ruler is nowhere near it. It is 3°29′ in when the year ends. That is a real exaltation, working from the shallow end.
We publish that degree as a convention rather than as an instant, for the same reason we do not publish combustion boundaries to the minute: a shastra degree is a chosen figure and different texts choose differently. The sign boundary is in the ephemeris. The dignity degree is in the literature. Those are two different kinds of fact and this site keeps them apart.
What you can expect from it, practically: Mars exalted in the tenth is the transit for taking on the harder job rather than the better-paid one, for finishing something that has been half-built, and for being credited with work you actually did. Mars in Makara is disciplined rather than hot — it is the one sign where Mars stops improvising and starts scheduling. Before the 27th, your ruler is in your ninth house in Moola and then Uttara Ashadha, which it enters at 6:12 am on Thursday 23 December.
Mercury Is Inside the Sun’s Glare for All Thirty-One Days
This is the month’s standing constraint and it belongs in plain language. Mercury begins December about six degrees from the Sun, comes to the Sun’s exact degree at 3:46 am on Sunday 12 December — 25°23′ of Scorpio, in Jyeshtha pada 3 — and is still only about eleven degrees away on the 31st. It never leaves the twelve-degree orb the classical texts use for asta. Mercury is burnt for the entire month.
For Mesha that burning happens in your eighth house until the 15th and your ninth after it. The eighth is the house of other people’s money, inheritance, insurance, tax and things concealed. A combust Mercury there for the first fortnight is the clearest possible instruction: do not sign, file or finalise anything to do with joint money, an estate, a claim or a tax position in the first half of December. Read it, prepare it, and lodge it in January.
Mercury is direct throughout, and it covers 49°08′ over the month — more ground than any other planet, more than the Sun’s 31°31′ and nearly twenty times Jupiter’s 2°31′. So this is a fast, hidden Mercury rather than a stalled one: things move, but you cannot see them clearly while they do. Its crossings are into Jyeshtha at 2:24 pm on Monday 6 December, into Moola at 2:03 am on Wednesday 15 December, and into Purva Ashadha at 11:53 am on Thursday 23 December.
Saturn Stops Going Backwards in Your Twelfth House
Saturn holds Pisces, your twelfth house, for all thirty-one days, and it stays inside Revati pada 4 the whole time — the last quarter of the last nakshatra of the last sign of the zodiac. It drifts backwards from 27°16′ to 26°50′, which is twenty-six arcminutes in a month, and then it turns direct at 8:45 am on Friday 24 December.
A station gets published to the minute here while an ingress at this speed would not, and the distinction matters. The moment a planet’s apparent motion reverses is a property of the geometry between the Earth and that planet; it does not depend on where anyone draws a sign boundary. An ingress at 26 arcminutes a month does depend on that, because it depends on the ayanamsa. So: the station is 8:45 am on the 24th, and Saturn’s sign boundary crossing is a matter for a different month.
Saturn in the twelfth is the transit of quiet expenditure — money going out on things that do not show, sleep that is not restful, and obligations abroad or behind closed doors. Retrograde, that has had a going-back-over-old-ground quality: the same expense reappearing, the same unfinished obligation resurfacing. From the 24th it starts moving forward. Nothing external changes on the day. The sense of re-treading does.
The Month’s Fixed Points

Venus enters Purva Ashadha at 8:22 pm.
- Friday 3 December, 1:28 pm — the Sun enters Jyeshtha in your eighth house. Vivah Panchami falls on Friday 3 December, on Venus’s own weekday.
- Sunday 5 December, 11:16 pm — Mars enters Purva Ashadha in your ninth house.
- Monday 6 December, 2:24 pm — Mercury enters Jyeshtha in your eighth house.
- Thursday 9 December, 5:26 pm — the Moon arrives on Mesha Rashi for fifty-four hours one minute, your only Chandra window of the month. Mokshada Ekadashi and Geeta Jayanti fall on Thursday 9 December.

- Wednesday 15 December, 2:03 am — Mercury leaves your eighth house for your ninth, entering Moola; Venus reaches your tenth house at 8:06 am.
- Thursday 16 December, 4:33 pm — Dhanu Sankranti: the Sun leaves your eighth house for your ninth and Kharmas begins, closing the wedding calendar for the rest of the year.
- Saturday 18 December — Rahu reverses from Shravana into Uttara Ashadha in your tenth house, given as a day because the node moves about three arcminutes an hour.
- Thursday 23 December — Venus is exact with Rahu at 9°44′ of Capricorn in your tenth house, give or take a day depending on whether the mean or the true node is used. Mars enters Uttara Ashadha at 6:12 am, Venus enters Shravana at 11:02 am, and Mercury enters Purva Ashadha at 11:53 am.
- Friday 24 December, 8:45 am — Saturn turns direct in your twelfth house at 26°50′ of Revati.

- Wednesday 29 December, 6:44 pm — the Sun enters Purva Ashadha in your ninth house.
- Friday 31 December — the year closes with an exalted Mars at 3°29′ and Venus at 20°29′ in your tenth house beside Rahu at 9°17′, the Sun at 15°36′ and Mercury at 27°00′ in your ninth, Jupiter at 3°03′ in your sixth, and Saturn direct at 26°50′ in your twelfth.
Week by Week
Thirty-one days from a Wednesday to a Friday, with five Tuesdays absent — there are only four, on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th, and Tuesday is your ruler’s day. The 28th is the one that carries an event: the New Moon forms in your ninth house in the small hours of it.
1–7 December
A quiet opening week with the whole cast still in place. Venus enters Purva Ashadha at 8:22 pm on Wednesday the 1st; the Sun enters Jyeshtha at 1:28 pm on Friday the 3rd; Mars enters Purva Ashadha at 11:16 pm on Sunday the 5th; Mercury enters Jyeshtha at 2:24 pm on Monday the 6th. Vivah Panchami falls on Friday 3 December. Mercury is already inside the Sun’s glare and closing, so this is the week to read documents rather than to lodge them.
8–14 December
The busiest week of the month for your sign. The Moon arrives on Mesha at 5:26 pm on Thursday the 9th and leaves at 11:27 pm on Saturday the 11th; the Sun and Mercury are exact in your eighth house at 3:46 am on Sunday the 12th, with Venus entering Uttara Ashadha at 3:15 pm; the Full Moon forms in your second house at 9:38 pm on Monday the 13th. Mokshada Ekadashi and Geeta Jayanti fall on Thursday 9 December, inside your Chandra window.
15–21 December
Your eighth house empties and your ninth fills. Mercury crosses at 2:03 am and Venus reaches your tenth house at 8:06 am on Wednesday the 15th; Dhanu Sankranti brings the Sun across at 4:33 pm on Thursday the 16th and Kharmas begins with it; Rahu reverses into Uttara Ashadha on Saturday the 18th. From the 16th the marriage calendar is shut until the middle of January.
22–28 December
The week the month turns. Venus meets Rahu’s degree in your tenth house on Thursday the 23rd, with three nakshatra crossings the same day — Mars at 6:12 am, Venus at 11:02 am, Mercury at 11:53 am; Saturn turns direct in your twelfth at 8:45 am on Friday the 24th; Mars arrives exalted in your tenth at 12:57 pm on Monday the 27th; the New Moon forms in your ninth house at 1:42 am on Tuesday the 28th.
29–31 December
Three days with your ruler exalted in your career house and Saturn moving forward again. The Sun enters Purva Ashadha at 6:44 pm on Wednesday the 29th. Whatever you set in motion here runs into a January that starts with the strongest tenth house Mesha has had in two years.
Career and Money for Mesha Rashi
Career is unambiguously the story. Your tenth house holds Rahu for thirty-one days, Venus from the 15th and an exalted Mars from the 27th, and Jupiter aspects that house from your sixth all month — a planet throws its fifth, seventh and ninth aspects, and from the sixth house Jupiter’s fifth lands on your tenth. So the house of work has both your exalted ruler in it and the benefic’s aspect on it before the year ends.
The practical sequence is: use the first fortnight to prepare, use the Venus fortnight from the 15th to be visible and to talk to people, discount whatever inflated impression the 23rd produces, and act from the 27th. If there is a role to take, a promotion to accept or a piece of work to commit to, the last five days of December are stronger than the first twenty-six put together.
Money divides. Earned income sits in your second house, which takes the Full Moon at 9:38 pm on the 13th and Jupiter’s ninth aspect from the sixth all month — both favourable. Joint and borrowed money sits in your eighth, which holds a combust Mercury and the Sun until mid-month, and that is the half of the ledger to leave alone. Our financial remedies and career remedies pages cover the practice, and Rahu–Ketu remedies apply to the tenth-house node.
Home, Family and Partnership
Partnership has a mixed month. Libra, your seventh house, takes no graha at all in December beyond the Moon’s ordinary two-day passage, so nothing arrives to force the issue. What does apply is indirect: your ruler in the tenth from the 27th pulls attention toward work, and a partner is likely to feel the reallocation before you notice making it. Say the trade out loud rather than letting it be inferred.
The calendar closes mid-month. Dhanu Kharmas begins at Dhanu Sankranti, 4:33 pm on Thursday 16 December, and runs into the middle of January, so sixteen of the month’s thirty-one days are shut for marriage. Vivah Panchami falls on Friday 3 December, inside the open fortnight and on Venus’s own weekday. The marriage muhurat page for December 2027 has the dates that survive; if a match has stalled, our marriage delay page is the reading.
At home, Ketu holds Cancer, your fourth house, for all thirty-one days in Pushya. Ketu in the fourth reads as detachment from the house itself — being at home without being present in it. With your ruler moving to the tenth on the 27th, that combination is worth naming honestly rather than resolving cleverly: December ends with your attention outside the house. Decide with the household rather than for it. The griha pravesh page has dates if a move is planned.
Health
Jupiter sits in your sixth house of illness for the whole month, moving only 2°31′ and never leaving Uttara Phalguni pada 2. A benefic in the sixth is a good thing there: it is the house of what you fight off, and Jupiter in it favours recovery, treatment that works, and diagnoses that turn out to be less than feared. If there is a course of treatment to begin, December supports it.
Two cautions. The first is administrative rather than physical: Mercury is combust all thirty-one days, so tests, referrals, insurance claims and second opinions are exactly the things that go astray this month — confirm receipt of everything. The second is Saturn in your twelfth all month and turning direct on the 24th, which is the classical placement for poor sleep and low-grade fatigue rather than for acute illness.
Your only Chandra window is 5:26 pm on Thursday 9 December to 11:27 pm on Saturday 11 December — fifty-four hours one minute, with Friday the 10th as its single full day. Mesha’s standing weak points are the head, the eyes and the blood, and an exalted Mars from the 27th tends to raise energy and impatience together, which is the season for a strain rather than an illness. Read our Mars remedies, Shani remedies and Tuesday fasting pages.
Remedies for Mesha Rashi in December 2027
Four conditions define the month: your ruler reaching its exaltation in your tenth house at 12:57 pm on 27 December; Rahu in that house all thirty-one days with Venus exact on its degree around Thursday 23 December; Mercury combust for every one of the thirty-one days, exact with the Sun in your eighth house at 3:46 am on the 12th; and Saturn turning direct in your twelfth at 8:45 am on the 24th.
- Mangal practice on the four Tuesdays — 7, 14, 21 and 28 December: red cloth, jaggery, physical service, Hanuman Chalisa. Your ruler is about to be exalted; the practice is to be worth it.
- Commit to the work after 12:57 pm on the 27th: an exalted Mars in the karma sthana is the strongest transit your working life gets, and it only exists for the last five days of the year.
- Do not sign anything about joint money, tax, inheritance or a claim before the 15th: Mercury is combust in your eighth house for the whole first fortnight and exact with the Sun on the 12th.
- Discount by a third whatever the 23rd offers you: Venus on Rahu’s degree in the tenth inflates professional attention without inflating what is behind it.
- Shani practice on the four Saturdays — 4, 11, 18 and 25 December: iron, sesame, and something done for someone who cannot repay it. Saturn is in your twelfth and turns direct the day before the last of them.
- Guru practice on the five Thursdays — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 December: Jupiter aspects your tenth house from your sixth all month, so direct the practice at work and at health together.
- Fix nothing to the marriage calendar after the 16th: Kharmas runs from Dhanu Sankranti to the middle of January.
In Summary
For Mesha Rashi, December 2027 is a month whose value is concentrated in its final five days. Mars, your ruler, crosses into Capricorn and its own exaltation at 12:57 pm on Monday 27 December, and Capricorn is your tenth house. It arrives into company: Rahu has held that house all month, drifting from 10°55′ to 9°17′ and reversing into Uttara Ashadha on Saturday 18 December, and Venus reached it at 8:06 am on Wednesday 15 December before coming to the node’s exact degree around Thursday 23 December.
Against that: Mercury inside the Sun’s twelve-degree orb for all thirty-one days, exact with it at 3:46 am on Sunday 12 December in your eighth house of other people’s money, which makes the first fortnight the wrong time for any document about joint funds; Saturn retrograde in your twelfth until 8:45 am on Friday 24 December; and Kharmas from 4:33 pm on Thursday 16 December, closing the wedding calendar for the rest of the year. The Full Moon lands in your second house at 9:38 pm on Monday 13 December and the New Moon in your ninth at 1:42 am on Tuesday 28 December.
All of this is computed for a whole sign, which is thirty degrees of sky and a great many different lives. Where Mars sits in your own chart, which of the nine Mesha padas holds your natal Moon, and which dasha is running decide how much of an exalted ruler in the tenth actually reaches you. An exalted ruler in your career house, for five days
Whether Mars reaching its exaltation in your tenth house on the twenty-seventh translates into an actual offer depends on where Mars sits in your own chart, which pada holds your natal Moon, and which dasha is running.
