Leo Rashifal July 2027 (Simha Rashi): Jupiter’s First Full Month on Your Sign

Jupiter crossed onto Simha Rashi on 26 June 2027, and July is its first complete month there. It runs from 0°51′ to 6°54′ of Leo across the thirty-one days, all of it inside Magha, changing pada twice — into pada 2 on 14 July and pada 3 on 30 July. Jupiter on the rashi is the transit every sign waits roughly twelve years for, and for Leo it has just begun. It will hold your sign into 2028.

Mars is also on Simha Rashi for the first four days, but at the far end of it: Jupiter at 0°51′ and Mars at 27°44′ are twenty-seven degrees apart, which means they share the sign without being conjunct in any meaningful sense. Mars leaves for Virgo and your second house at 4:24 am on Monday 5 July. So the crowding of the first weekend resolves quickly, and what remains on your sign for the rest of July is Jupiter alone.

The counterweight sits in your twelfth house, and it builds over the month. Ketu is in Cancer all July, at 19°02′ falling to 17°23′. The Sun — your ruling planet — joins it at 5:42 am on Saturday 17 July at Karka Sankranti. Venus follows at 1:42 am on Friday 23 July and Mercury at 6:28 pm on Friday 30 July. What Jupiter on the Rashi Actually Does

Guru on the Moon sign is treated in the classical texts with some care rather than uniform enthusiasm, and the reason is worth knowing. Jupiter transiting the first house expands the person: confidence, weight, appetite, presence, sometimes literal size. It is excellent for reputation and for opportunity, and it is not automatically comfortable, because expansion also means less discrimination about what you take on. The single most useful discipline this year is saying no to things that are genuinely good.

Jupiter covers only 6°03′ in July because it is moving at roughly a fifth of a degree a day, and the whole passage stays inside Magha, whose lord is Ketu. That is a slightly unsettled star for a settling planet: Magha is the nakshatra of ancestry, of inherited position, of the seat rather than the person in it. We give those two pada dates as days rather than minutes deliberately. A pada boundary is a chosen division of a nakshatra, and where it falls depends on the ayanamsa a given calendar uses. Jupiter at 0.195° a day cannot defend a specific minute against a different ayanamsa — a two-arcminute disagreement moves it by four hours. The day is defensible; the minute is not. Your Ruler Leaves the Eleventh House for the Twelfth

For the first sixteen days the Sun is in Gemini, your eleventh house of gains, income and networks, alongside Mercury in its own sign and Venus. Three planets in the eleventh is a strong signature for money arriving through people, and the New Moon of 8:32 am on Sunday 4 July forms in that house too, at 17°42′ of Gemini in Ardra pada 4. A New Moon in the eleventh is a reset on your network: who you know, what they are worth to you, what you are worth to them.

Then Karka Sankranti at 5:42 am on Saturday 17 July takes the Sun out of that house and into your twelfth, beginning the sidereal Dakshinayana. For a Sun-ruled sign, the Sun in the twelfth is the annual ebb — the two weeks before the solar return when vitality, visibility and enthusiasm all run below baseline. It ends the month at 14°06′ of Cancer in Pushya pada 4, having crossed Punarvasu at 6:01 pm on Tuesday 6 July and Pushya at 5:35 pm on Tuesday 20 July.

So the month has a clear internal division for Simha Rashi, and it is not the one Jupiter suggests. Until the 17th, the Sun supports the eleventh house and money moves. After the 17th, the Sun is in the house of expenditure with Ketu, and it will be joined there by Venus and Mercury. Jupiter on the rashi holds the whole thing up, which is exactly what makes the second half survivable rather than difficult.

Mercury Direct on the 5th, Venus Dark from the 6th

Mercury spends most of July in your eleventh house in its own sign, which is as well as it can be placed there. It clears 12° from the Sun on 2 July and stops being combust, then turns direct at 1:10 am on Monday 5 July at 3°52′ of Gemini, ending twenty-five days of retrograde motion. It re-enters Ardra at 1:58 am on Wednesday 14 July and Punarvasu at 3:39 am on Sunday 25 July. For gains through contacts, the 5th is the day the machinery restarts.

Venus is exact with Mercury at 2:52 pm on Thursday 1 July, at 3°41′ of Gemini — the only exact planetary conjunction anywhere in July 2027, and it happens in your eleventh house on the first day. Then Venus enters combustion on 6 July and stays invisible until 17 September, with the exact conjunction on 12 August. It is not retrograde; it is simply lost in the Sun’s glare. It crosses three nakshatra boundaries on the way: Ardra on 4 July at 1:18 am, Punarvasu on 14 July at 10:19 pm and Pushya on 25 July at 6:44 pm.

Shukra asta is why the year’s longest clear run ends when it does. The 82-day open stretch that began on 15 April closes on 5 July — not because of anything in the tithi, but because Venus goes dark the next day. Then Devshayani Ekadashi on Wednesday 14 July begins Chaturmas, which runs to 10 November. Nothing after the 5th is classically clear, which for a reader with Jupiter newly on the rashi is genuinely annoying: the transit is good and the calendar is shut.

A Sixth-House Full Moon, and Fifty Hours of Moon on Your Sign

The Moon reaches Simha Rashi at 4:03 am on Wednesday 7 July and leaves at 5:59 am on Friday 9 July — forty-nine hours fifty-six minutes, four minutes short of fifty hours. That window sits two days after Mercury turns direct and one day after Venus goes dark, which makes it the best remaining stretch in the month for anything that needs the Moon behind it. It is also inside the week Jupiter is still in Magha pada 1.

The Full Moon of 9:14 pm on Sunday 18 July forms at 1°36′ of Capricorn in Uttara Ashadha pada 2, in your sixth house of illness, debt, service and competition. Rahu holds the same sixth house all month, moving from 19°02′ to 17°23′ and staying in Shravana pada 3 throughout. The Full Moon is more than seventeen degrees from Rahu, so it lights the house the node occupies without landing on the node itself.

A sixth-house Full Moon is genuinely useful, which surprises people. It is the night the thing you have been ignoring becomes visible: the symptom, the loan, the rival, the workload. It falls on Guru Purnima, with the Purnima tithi ending at exactly that instant, since a Full Moon is the moment the tithi closes. Mercury crosses into your twelfth house at 6:28 pm on Friday the 30th, so your eleventh house empties completely for the first time since May and your twelfth ends the month with the Sun, Venus, Mercury and Ketu in it. Jupiter reaches Magha pada 3 on your sign the same day. Thursday the 29th, the last of five Thursdays with Guru on your rashi, is the day of these three worth using.

Career and Money for Simha Rashi

Your tenth house is Taurus and empty all month, and its ruler Venus is combust from the 6th, so career has no direct signature. What it has instead is Jupiter on the rashi, which affects profession indirectly and powerfully: people look at you differently in a Guru-on-the-rashi year, and opportunities arrive because of who you appear to be rather than what you have applied for.
