Leo Rashifal March 2027 (Simha Rashi): Your Ruler Joins Ashtama Shani on 15 March

Saturn is in Pisces, which is the eighth house from Simha Rashi, and Saturn in the eighth from the Moon has its own name: Ashtama Shani. It is a difficult transit and Leo is the sign carrying it in 2027. That much is background, and it has been true since last year.

What is specific to March is the date the Sun walks into it. At 6:55 am on Monday 15 March, the Sun — the planet that rules your rashi and stands for your vitality, your authority and your sense of your own place — leaves Aquarius and enters Pisces, joining Saturn in the eighth house for the rest of the month. Sun with Saturn is already the classical picture of authority under pressure. In the eighth, under Ashtama Shani, it is the sharpest fortnight of your year, and it has a start time.

What Ashtama Shani Actually Does, and When It Ends

Saturn spends the whole month in Pisces, direct, moving from 18°49′ to 22°33′ and crossing from the first pada of Revati into the second. It is not retrograde and not stationary; it simply grinds forwards.

The eighth house is longevity, hidden things, other people’s money and sudden change, so Ashtama Shani reads as delay and obstruction arriving through channels you cannot see into: a tax matter, a loan, an inheritance, a medical question, a claim that will not resolve. It is also strongly associated with fatigue that does not match the workload, which is worth separating from illness.

It ends on a fixed date. Saturn enters Aries on 3 June 2027, and Aries is the ninth from Leo — so Ashtama Shani finishes that afternoon and is replaced by one of Saturn’s soberer but far kinder placements. Eleven weeks from the end of March. Mars Leaves Your Rashi on 10 March

Mars begins the month at 2°59′ of Leo, in Magha, retrograde — sitting on your own rashi. At 12:30 am on Wednesday 10 March it reverses out of Leo and back into Cancer, where it is debilitated. Cancer is your twelfth house.

Losing Mars from your rashi is a mixed thing. A retrograde Mars on the first house is heat with nowhere to go — irritability, a short temper, and effort that does not convert. So the departure removes that. But the twelfth house is where a planet’s energy is spent rather than used, and Mars debilitated and retrograde in the twelfth is closer to depletion than to peace. It falls from 30° to 26°41′ of Cancer and then stops: Mars turns direct at 7:42 pm on 1 April 2027 at that exact degree, so the last week of March is a standstill.

Your twelfth house also holds Jupiter, exalted and retrograde, and Ketu — and those two were exact on Monday 1 March at 25°27′ of Cancer. By mid-month the twelfth house holds three bodies inside four degrees of Ashlesha. Exalted Jupiter in the twelfth is the classical placement for spiritual expense well made: pilgrimage, charity, retreat, treatment, or money spent on something that returns nothing measurable and is still right. That, rather than achievement, is where March’s good is for Simha Rashi.

A New Moon in Your Seventh House on 8 March

The one clean opening the month gives you falls before all of this. The New Moon forms at 2:59 pm on Monday 8 March at 23°18′ of Aquarius, in Purva Bhadrapada. Aquarius is your seventh house — spouse, partnership, alliances, the person across the table — and the Sun is in it until the 15th.

A seventh-house New Moon with your ruler in the same house is the best configuration March offers you for beginning something with another person: a partnership, a negotiation reopened, a reconciliation, a conversation about a marriage. It also falls inside the month’s only open fortnight, before Holashtak starts on the 14th.

Mercury reinforces it. It turns direct at 6:02 pm on Wednesday 3 March at 26°41′ of Capricorn — your sixth house — ending the retrograde that began at 11:05 pm on 9 February, and then enters your seventh at 5:00 am on Friday 12 March. So the sequence is: paperwork clears on the 3rd, the lunar cycle opens on the 8th, and your communication planet arrives in the relevant house on the 12th. Two days later the calendar shuts.

Venus Over Rahu in Your Sixth, 17 March

Rahu holds your sixth house all month, at 25°30′ falling to 23°51′ of Capricorn in Dhanishta, and Venus meets it exactly at 7:23 am on Wednesday 17 March at 24°38′. Venus then leaves for your seventh at 6:47 pm on the 21st.

The sixth house is debts, disputes, competitors, service and health. Rahu there is generally read as favourable — the node in the sixth tends to defeat opposition rather than create it — but Venus crossing it inflates whatever the dispute is about. The specific caution is against a comfortable-looking settlement offered mid-month in a matter of debt or disagreement. With Ashtama Shani running in the eighth house at the same time, the eighth-house version of that money is exactly what is slow, so an easy answer on the 17th deserves a second look.

Your Chandra Days and a Second-House Full Moon

The Moon crosses Simha Rashi from 1:31 am on Saturday 20 March to 3:44 am on Monday 22 March — a little over two days, straddling Holika Dahan on the Sunday. Those are your Chandra days for the month: the Moon on your own rashi tends to make you more visible and more reactive at once, and they fall on the festival, which is convenient for the first and worth remembering for the second.

Then the Full Moon forms at 4:13 pm on Monday 22 March at 7°18′ of Virgo, in Uttara Phalguni — the Phalguna Purnima, the Full Moon Holi is counted from. Virgo is the second from Leo, so it fills your house of earned money, speech and family. A second-house Full Moon brings a financial matter to its head and loosens the tongue in a family setting; the good use of it is settling an amount, and the poor use is saying what you think about how it was handled.

The Closed Second Half

The Sun’s entry into Pisces on the 15th is the Meena Sankranti, and it opens Meena Kharmas, which runs to 14 April 2027 and closes weddings, house-warmings, vehicle purchases and other beginnings for the whole period. Holashtak runs 14 to 21 March, ending at Holika Dahan on Sunday 21 March 2027.

For Simha Rashi the two constraints line up usefully with the chart. Your open window and your best transits are the same stretch — the 3rd to the 13th, holding Mercury’s station, the seventh-house New Moon and the last days before Mars leaves your rashi. After the 15th, the Sun is in the eighth with Saturn and the calendar is shut. There is very little argument for pushing anything in the second half. 1–7 March

Jupiter meets Ketu in your twelfth house on Monday the 1st — a good week for something given rather than gained. Mercury turns direct at 6:02 pm on Wednesday the 3rd in your sixth house, which is where a dispute, a claim or a health enquiry stops going in circles. Mars is still on your rashi and still retrograde, so temper is the thing to watch until the 10th.

8–14 March

The month’s best week and its only real opening. The New Moon lands in your seventh house at 2:59 pm on Monday the 8th, with your ruler in the same house — this is when to begin something with another person. Mars leaves your rashi at 12:30 am on Wednesday the 10th. Mercury reaches your seventh at 5:00 am on Friday the 12th. Saturday the 13th is the last clear day before Holashtak, so anything that needs starting needs starting now.

15–21 March

22–31 March

The Full Moon fills your second house at 4:13 pm on Monday the 22nd, which makes the week after Holi about money and family speech. Then a slow close: Sun and Saturn in the eighth, Mercury and Venus in the seventh, and Mars nearly stationary in your twelfth at 26°41′ of Cancer, the degree it turns direct on from 1 April. Use the last ten days for the twelfth-house work — rest, treatment, charity, and clearing what you owe.

Career and Money for Simha Rashi

Your tenth house — Taurus — is empty for the whole month, and your ruler spends the second half in the eighth. Together those say plainly that March is not the month to make a move on your career. Nothing external is pressing on it and your own authority is under a Saturn shadow from the 15th. Being reliable is the whole strategy; being conspicuous is not.

This is the good news of the month. The seventh house receives the New Moon on the 8th, has your ruling Sun in it until the 15th, takes Mercury on the 12th and Venus on the 21st. Four bodies through the house of partnership in three weeks, and the lunation is a New Moon rather than a Full one — a beginning rather than a culmination.

The practical reading: the 8th to the 12th is the stretch in which a conversation with a spouse, a prospective partner or a business counterparty is most likely to go somewhere. Because Kharmas closes 15 March to 14 April, an actual wedding date is not available in the second half anyway — so the first fortnight is both the astrologically favoured window and the only calendrically open one. The second-house Full Moon on the 22nd is the family flashpoint rather than the seventh house. Money discussed with parents or siblings on Holi week is where the sharpness is, not the marriage.

Health

Three transits converge here and they deserve to be taken seriously rather than dramatised. Ashtama Shani is the eighth-house Saturn associated with chronic, slow complaints and with recovery taking longer than it should. Your ruling Sun joins it on the 15th, which classically lowers vitality for the fortnight. And Mars, debilitated and retrograde in your twelfth house from the 10th, is the twelfth-house signature for sleep that does not restore and for energy leaking away.

The counterweights are that Mercury turns direct in your sixth house — the health house — on the 3rd, which is the best date in the month for getting a clear answer from a doctor or a test, and that exalted Jupiter in the twelfth is the classical support for treatment and recovery. So the sensible shape for the month is: investigate in the first fortnight, rest in the second, and do not read fatigue after the 15th as something to push through. • Saturday observance for Shani — 6, 13, 20 and 27 March: the central remedy of your month, because Ashtama Shani is the central condition. Sesame oil and iron given, black til, a peepal lamp after sundown, and work done for someone who cannot repay it. The 20th, with the Moon on your rashi, is the one to keep if you keep one. • Sunday observance for the Sun — 7, 14, 21 and 28 March: the Sun rules Simha Rashi and enters the eighth house on the 15th. Water offered at sunrise, wheat and jaggery, red or copper given away, and the Aditya Hridayam if that is your practice. The 21st and 28th, after the ingress, are the two that matter most.
• Hanuman worship on the Tuesdays — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 March: Mars is retrograde the whole month, on your rashi until the 10th and debilitated in your twelfth after it. • Guru worship on the Thursdays — 4, 11, 18 and 25 March: exalted Jupiter in your twelfth is the month’s real strength and the twelfth is the house of giving, so this one takes the form of charity rather than of asking. • Begin the partnership conversation between the 8th and the 12th: the seventh-house New Moon with your ruler in the same house, and Mercury arriving direct. That is the month’s one clean opening.
• Get the medical or legal answer before the 13th: Mercury is direct in your sixth house from the 3rd, which is where questions of health and dispute are answered. After the 15th the Sun is in the eighth and answers slow down.
• Do not accept the mid-month settlement offer: Venus over Rahu in the sixth on the 17th makes a compromise look better than it is, and the eighth house is where the real money is still stuck.
