Sagittarius Rashifal June 2027 (Dhanu Rashi): Kantaka Shani Ends on 3 June, Full Moon on Your Sign on 19 June

Published 2026-08-21 | Live Pandit Ji

Two dates carry the month for Dhanu Rashi, and they are unusually easy to state. On 3 June 2027, Saturn leaves Pisces — your fourth house — which means Kantaka Shani ends. On 19 June at 6:14 am, the Full Moon forms on Dhanu Rashi itself, at 3°18′ of Sagittarius, in the first pada of Moola, two arc-minutes inside the Scorpio–Sagittarius gandanta — and it falls inside your own Chandra window.

The third change is your ruler’s. Exalted Jupiter has been in Cancer, your eighth house, since January, and at 4:48 am on Saturday 26 June it moves to Leo and your ninth. It loses its exaltation on the way — and it does not get it back until 2038 — but for a Dhanu reader the trade is worth taking: the rashi lord moves out of the worst house in the chart and into one of the best.

All 30 days of June are open: no Kharmas, no Chaturmas, and neither Jupiter nor Venus combust. The one working difficulty is Mercury turning retrograde in your seventh house on the 10th, and being caught by the Sun there on the 23rd.

Kantaka Shani Ends — With an Honest Tail

Kantaka Shani is Saturn transiting the fourth house from the natal Moon, one of the three Saturn passages the tradition names for difficulty. The fourth is home, mother, property, and the sense of having somewhere to stand; Saturn there tends to produce exactly what the name says — a thorn: a domestic matter that will not resolve, a house that becomes a burden, a parent who needs care, or simply the feeling that the ground is not solid. Saturn has been in Pisces since March 2025. On 3 June 2027 it crosses into Aries and your fifth house, and that passage is over.

The date carries no minute, and the reason is worth stating plainly. Saturn is moving at 0.098° a day at that boundary, so the exact instant of the crossing shifts by hours depending on which ayanamsa a calendar uses. Our table says 4:39 am on 3 June. We publish the day, because the minute cannot be defended.

Now the part most readings leave out. Saturn does not go far. It turns retrograde on 9 August 2027 at 3°38′ of Aries, reverses, and re-enters Pisces on 20 October 2027 — back into your fourth house. It turns direct on 24 December, and leaves the fourth house for the last time on 23 February 2028. So the accurate statement is that Kantaka Shani ends on 3 June, resumes for four months from 20 October, and is genuinely finished the following February. The relief between June and October is real, and it is the window in which a domestic matter is most easily settled.

Where Saturn goes next is your fifth house — children, study, creative work, and what you put your name to — and it arrives debilitated, since Aries is its sign of fall. Saturn in the fifth is slow rather than harsh: study takes longer, a creative project stalls, a matter concerning a child needs patience. Debilitation costs Saturn its reliability more than its severity, so expect the delay without the compensating discipline. It also spends every one of June’s thirty days inside the Revati–Ashwini gandanta, the most unstable junction in the zodiac. Observances are on our Shani dosh page.

The Full Moon Forms on Your Own Sign, Inside Your Own Window

The Moon reaches Sagittarius at 11:40 pm on Friday 18 June and leaves at 11:48 am on Monday 21 Junesixty hours and eight minutes, which is the second-longest Chandra window that any of the twelve rashis is given in June 2027. At 6:14 am on Saturday 19 June the Full Moon forms inside it: 6 hours 34 minutes after the Moon arrived on your sign, and 53 hours 34 minutes before it leaves. A lunation landing on your own rashi and inside your own window is not common, and it is the single most personal event of your month.

The degree is the interesting part. 3°18′ of Sagittarius sits in Moola pada 1, and the gandanta — the junction between a water sign and a fire sign, traditionally the most unstable stretch of the zodiac — runs to 3°20′. The Full Moon is therefore two arc-minutes inside it, and clears it within the hour. A Full Moon is a culmination: something reaching its visible peak. A Full Moon at a gandanta degree is a culmination that arrives unsteadily — the thing completes, but the days around it feel unsettled out of proportion to what actually happens.

The practical reading is simple. Saturday 19 June and the two days after it are when a Dhanu reader is most visible and most reactive. It is an excellent stretch for anything that needs you to be seen — a presentation, a launch, a family occasion — and a poor one for a decision taken in the first flush of feeling. Sleep is likely to be thin. Let the peak pass before you act on what it shows you.

Your Ruler Leaves the Eighth House on 26 June

Jupiter sits at 26°09′ of Cancer on 1 June, exalted, in your eighth house, and crosses 26°40′ into Ashlesha pada 4 on Friday 4 June. At 4:48 am on Saturday 26 June it enters Leo and your ninth house, taking Magha at the same instant.

Be clear about the trade, because it cuts both ways. Jupiter loses its exaltation — and it will not be exalted again until 2038, since it does not return to Cancer before then. But an exalted planet in a bad house and a plain planet in a good house are not the same proposition, and for Dhanu the second is the better bet. The eighth house is upheaval, shared money, and things that happen to you; the ninth is fortune, teachers, dharma and long journeys, and it is where Jupiter is most at home in the natural order of things. Your rashi lord is moving from the hardest house it can occupy to nearly the easiest.

The visit to Cancer was short, incidentally, and the reason is mechanical: Jupiter entered on 25 January 2027 and leaves on 26 June, 152 days, against the thirteen months a Jupiter sign-transit normally runs, because it reversed into the sign while retrograde and only turned direct on 13 April. It holds Leo until 26 November 2027, returns there from 28 February 2028, and leaves that July.

One thing improves before the 26th as well. Ketu is in Cancer too, retreating from 20°37′ to 19°02′ and crossing into Ashlesha pada 1 on 12 June. Jupiter with Ketu is Guru–Chandal, which muddles judgement and makes good advice feel suspect — having it on your own rashi lord is why the last few months may have felt like your instincts were slightly off. The gap widens through June: 5°32′ on the 1st, 11°49′ by the 30th. That clearing is gradual, not a date.

From the 26th Jupiter shares your ninth house with Mars, which has been there all month. They never conjoin: Jupiter enters at 0° while Mars is already past 25°, and the faster Mars pulls away, so the gap widens from 25°04′ on the 26th to 26°53′ on the 30th.

Mercury Turns Retrograde in Your Seventh House

Mercury spends all thirty days in Gemini, its own sign, in your seventh house of marriage, partnership and anyone you deal with face to face. It stays inside a band four and a half degrees wide — 8°21′ on the 1st down to 3°52′ on the 30th — turns retrograde at 11:44 pm on Thursday 10 June, reverses into Mrigashira at 9:03 pm on Thursday 24 June, and turns direct on 5 July at 3°14′.

Then the Sun catches it in the same house. The Sun arrives at 6:50 pm on Tuesday 15 June at Mithuna Sankranti, Mercury falls inside 12° of it at about the same time, and the two are exact at 1:29 pm on Wednesday 23 June at 7°25′ of Gemini. Mercury clears 12° again on 2 July.

Retrograde Mercury in the seventh is the transit of the conversation that has to be had twice. An agreement gets reopened, a partner changes their mind, a message is read the wrong way, or something long unsaid finally comes out at the wrong moment. It is not a rupture signature; it is a re-negotiation signature. Where it genuinely helps is with anything old — a lapsed contact, a partnership left unfinished, a discussion abandoned. Anything you want settled belongs before Thursday the 10th.

  • Tuesday 29 June, 00:38 — Mars enters Uttara Phalguni in your ninth house, with Jupiter now in the same sign.

Week by Week

Thirty days, Tuesday to Wednesday. Jupiter rules Dhanu Rashi, so your day is Thursday — 3, 10, 17 and 24 June, four of them — and the first of them is the day Kantaka Shani ends.

1–7 June

The week that lifts the weight. Saturn leaves your fourth house on Thursday the 3rd, your ruler moves into its last pada in Cancer on Friday the 4th, Venus reaches its own sign in your sixth at 00:37 that day, and the New Moon forms there at 1:10 am on Saturday the 5th — a good lunation for work, routine and health rather than for anything glamorous. Mercury is still direct all week. If a domestic matter has been stuck, this is the week to move it.

8–14 June

The deadline week. Mercury turns retrograde in your seventh house at 11:44 pm on Thursday the 10th — your own weekday, and the last clean day for anything that needs agreeing with another person. Venus enters Rohini in your sixth at 5:30 am on Saturday the 12th, and both nodes change pada the same day, which eases the Guru–Chandal on your rashi lord a little further.

15–21 June

Your week, and the loudest of the month. The Sun joins retrograde Mercury in your seventh at 6:50 pm on Tuesday the 15th at Mithuna Sankranti and Mercury goes combust there. Then the Moon reaches your sign at 11:40 pm on Friday the 18th and the Full Moon forms on it at 6:14 am on Saturday the 19th, in a gandanta degree, with fifty-three and a half hours of the window still to run. Be visible, be careful what you decide, and expect thin sleep.

22–28 June

The handover. The Sun is exact with your retrograde seventh-house Mercury at 1:29 pm on Wednesday the 23rd; Mercury reverses into Mrigashira at 9:03 pm on Thursday the 24th, your last Thursday with an exalted ruler; and then Jupiter leaves your eighth house for your ninth at 4:48 am on Saturday the 26th. Venus arrives in your seventh at 2:35 pm on Monday the 28th, which softens the week’s partnership friction just as it ends.

29–30 June

Two days in the better arrangement. Mars enters Uttara Phalguni at 00:38 on Tuesday the 29th with your ruler now in the same ninth house. The month closes on Wednesday the 30th with Jupiter at 0°51′ of Leo, Saturn debilitated at 2°18′ of Aries in your fifth, and your eighth house holding Ketu alone for the first time this year.

Career and Money for Dhanu Rashi

Your tenth house is empty for all thirty days, so June is not a month in which your career changes shape by itself — what happens professionally will happen because you make it happen. The support comes from the ninth house: Mars there all month for drive, and your ruler joining it on the 26th, which is the classic transit for a mentor, a senior, or an opportunity that arrives through someone who thinks well of you. The New Moon of the 5th in your sixth house is a good beginning for routine work, a new process, or a role that is more about diligence than visibility. Our career remedies page has the standing observances.

Money has one clear warning and one clear improvement. The warning is Rahu in your second house of money and speech all month — it is in Capricorn until 24 June 2028 — changing pada on the 12th from the fourth pada of Shravana into the third. Rahu in the second inflates: income that looks larger than it is, spending that outruns it, a figure quoted too confidently. The improvement is your ruler leaving the eighth house on the 26th, which is where shared money and debt live; a matter of loans, insurance or family assets that has been sitting unresolved is more likely to move after that date than before it. See the financial remedies page.

Home, Family and Partnership

Home is the good news, and it deserves to be said plainly: two and a half years of Saturn in your fourth house end on 3 June. Whatever the thorn was — a property matter, a parent’s health, a house that cost more than it gave, a persistent sense of unsettledness — the pressure comes off in the first week. Use the window: Saturn is back in that house from 20 October 2027 to 23 February 2028, and things settled between June and October are the things that stay settled.

Partnership is the department under strain, because your seventh house holds Mercury retrograde from the 10th, the Sun from the 15th, a combustion through the back half of the month, and Venus only from the 28th. For a Dhanu reader considering marriage, engagement or a partnership agreement, the arithmetic clearly favours 4 to 10 June: Saturn newly out of the fourth, Venus dignified, Mercury still direct. Every day of June is open. The marriage muhurat page for June 2027 lists the qualifying dates, griha pravesh works the housewarming arithmetic — worth a look with Saturn newly out of your fourth — and the vehicle page covers a purchase. Venus is a morning star closing from 19°32′ to 11°52′ of the Sun across June and goes combust on 6 July 2027, after which the calendar shuts until 17 September.

One note on children and study. Saturn enters your fifth house on the 3rd, debilitated, and stays into 2028. That is a slow transit rather than a hard one: examinations take more preparation than they used to, a creative project loses momentum, a matter concerning a child asks for patience rather than intervention. It is worth setting expectations accordingly for the rest of the year.

Health

Your sixth house of illness has a busy but favourable June: Venus dignified there from the 4th to the 28th, the Sun to the 15th, and the New Moon of the 5th. A New Moon in the sixth is the best lunation in the month for beginning a regimen, a diet or a course of treatment — that is precisely what the house governs — and Venus in its own sign there makes it more likely to be pleasant enough to keep. Start in the first week.

The stretch to be careful with runs from 18 to 21 June, while the Moon holds your own sign. A lunation on the rashi at a gandanta degree costs sleep and shortens the fuse; it is not a sickness signature but it is a depletion one. Also worth noting: your ruler leaving the eighth house on the 26th is favourable for anything chronic, and Saturn out of your fourth removes a long low-grade domestic stress that often shows up physically. On balance a good health month with three loud days in it.

Remedies for Dhanu Rashi in June 2027

Four conditions: Kantaka Shani ending on the 3rd and Saturn arriving debilitated in your fifth, the Full Moon on your own rashi on the 19th at a gandanta degree, your ruler moving from the eighth house to the ninth on the 26th, and Mercury retrograde and burnt in your seventh.

  • Guru worship on the Thursdays — 3, 10, 17 and 24 June: Jupiter rules Dhanu Rashi, and Thursday the 3rd is the day Kantaka Shani ends. Turmeric, chana dal, yellow given to a teacher rather than kept; the 24th is your last Thursday with an exalted ruler until 2038. See weak-Jupiter remedies and Thursday fasting.
  • Saturday observance for Shani — 5, 12, 19 and 26 June: the month Saturn leaves your fourth house and enters your fifth, debilitated and inside the gandanta. Sesame oil, black til, a peepal lamp after sundown, something given to someone who works with their hands. The 5th, the first Saturday after the ingress, is the one to mark properly. Forms on the Shani remedies page and Saturday fasting.
  • Monday observance for Chandra — 7, 14, 21 and 28 June: with a lunation landing on your own rashi this month, the Moon is worth attending to. The third of those Mondays falls inside your Chandra window, hours before the Moon leaves your sign. White flowers, rice, milk offered rather than drunk. See Monday fasting.
  • Ketu observance for the eighth house: Ketu sits with your ruler in your eighth house until the 26th — Guru–Chandal, separating from 5°32′ to 11°49′ across the month — and crosses into Ashlesha pada 1 on the 12th. Sesame, a grey or multicoloured cloth given away, food offered to a dog. With Rahu in your second, the joint forms apply — see the joint observances and our Rahu-Ketu page.
  • Shukra observance on the Fridays — 4, 11, 18 and 25 June: Venus is in its own sign in your sixth house of health and work for twenty-four days, the last full month before it goes combust. White cloth, rice and ghee, something fragrant offered rather than worn. See Shukra remedies and Friday fasting.
  • Settle the domestic matter between June and October: not a ritual, the practical use of the transit. Saturn is out of your fourth house from 3 June and back in it from 20 October. Four months is enough to finish a property question, a repair, or a conversation with a parent that has been deferred.
  • Do not decide anything on 19 or 20 June: the Full Moon on your rashi at a gandanta degree makes everything feel larger than it is. Be seen, note what surfaces, and act on it the following week.

In Summary

For Dhanu Rashi, June 2027 is a month of two headline dates. Kantaka Shani ends on Thursday 3 June, when Saturn leaves your fourth house after two and a half years — with the honest tail that it returns there from 20 October 2027 to 23 February 2028, making June to October the window in which a domestic matter can actually be settled. And the Full Moon forms on Dhanu Rashi itself at 6:14 am on Saturday 19 June, at 3°18′ in Moola pada 1, two arc-minutes inside the gandanta, six and a half hours after the Moon reached your sign and with fifty-three and a half hours of your sixty-hour window still to run.

The third change is the one that matters most for the rest of the year. Your ruler Jupiter leaves your eighth house for your ninth at 4:48 am on Saturday 26 June. It loses an exaltation it will not have again until 2038, and it gains a house that suits it far better — a trade worth taking. The Guru–Chandal that has been sitting on your rashi lord separates through the month, from 5°32′ to 11°49′.

Two instructions carry the practical month. Put anything requiring another person’s agreement before Thursday 10 June at 11:44 pm, when Mercury turns retrograde in your seventh house — the Sun catches it there on the 23rd. And treat 4 to 10 June as the month’s decision window: Saturn newly out of your fourth, Venus dignified in your sixth, the New Moon there on the 5th, Mercury still direct. All of this is sign-level; which of the nine Sagittarius padas holds your natal Moon — and how close it sits to 3°18′ — decides how much of the Full Moon lands on you. For more, read May’s reading, what Dhanu Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our Shani dosh page.

The Full Moon forms at 3°18′ of your own sign on 19 June 2027

How much of it reaches you depends on where in Sagittarius your natal Moon sits — and whether Kantaka Shani has actually finished for your chart depends on the same degree.
