Sagittarius Rashifal October 2027 (Dhanu Rashi): Both Exact Conjunctions and Diwali’s New Moon Land in Your House of Gains

Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji

October 2027 crowds one sign of the zodiac and empties most of the others. Libra takes five of the nine bodies, both of the month’s exact conjunctions, and the New Moon of Diwali. For Dhanu Rashi, Libra is your eleventh house — the house of gains, income, elder siblings and the wider network. Of the twelve places that cluster could have landed, this is the most useful one.

The New Moon forms in your eleventh house at 7:06 pm on Friday 29 October, at 11°42′ of Libra, in Swati pada 2. Diwali falls on Friday 29 October, and the amavasya tithi ends at that same instant. A Lakshmi Puja lunation in the house of gains is about as favourable an alignment of festival and transit as the year offers a single rashi.

The month has one real cost, and it arrives on the 20th, when Saturn retrogrades into your fourth house. Its debilitation ends in that move — but the fourth house is home, mother and peace of mind, and Saturn there is heavy. Everything else in October is in your favour.

The Whole Cluster, in the Best House for It

Take them in order. Mars is in your eleventh house until 1:21 am on Friday 8 October. Venus arrives at 6:20 pm on Sunday 3 October — Libra is a sign it owns, so it leaves the debilitation it had carried through September in the same instant — and holds the house until 9:53 pm on Wednesday 27 October. Mercury is there from the first day and turns retrograde at 8:06 pm on Thursday 7 October. The Sun arrives debilitated at 2:03 am on Monday 18 October. The Moon crosses twice.

Both of the month’s exact conjunctions land there too, and the sky produces only those two in all thirty-one days: Mercury with Venus at 9°46′ of Libra, at 3:02 pm on Monday 11 October, and the Sun with Mercury at 1°47′, eight days later at 9:00 pm on Tuesday 19 October.

The eleventh house is where effort converts into money and where friends turn into opportunities, so read October as a month of returns rather than of new starts. Venus in its own sign there from the 3rd to the 27th is the strongest single feature. The debilitated Sun from the 18th is the qualification: gains come through the network rather than through your own authority, and pushing your own name too hard is the way to lose them.

Your Ruler Holds the Ninth, Visible All Month

Jupiter rules Dhanu Rashi and spends all thirty-one days of October in Leo, your ninth house, moving from 19°58′ to 26°00′ — from Purva Phalguni pada 2 into pada 4. Six degrees and two minutes of ground in a month.

Two things about that are worth checking rather than assuming. The first is visibility. Jupiter never comes within twenty-three degrees of the Sun this month and Venus never within thirteen, so your ruler is observable for the entire month. Mercury is the one planet the Sun does hide in October, passing its exact degree on the 19th. Jupiter had been invisible for a month in the middle of 2027; October has none of that.

The second is the pada arithmetic. Jupiter crosses from Purva Phalguni pada 2 into pada 3 and then into pada 4 during October. We do not publish clock times for those crossings, because a pada boundary is a division of a nakshatra rather than a sign boundary the ephemeris table holds directly — so the honest unit for a pada change is the position at the month’s edges, which is what the figures above give.

Fifty-Nine Hours Forty-Four Minutes, With a Sign Change Inside It

The Moon holds Dhanu from 2:14 am on Wednesday 6 October to 1:58 pm on Friday 8 Octoberfifty-nine hours forty-four minutes. That is October’s second-longest window of the twelve; only Capricorn’s, at sixty hours fifty-seven minutes, runs longer.

And a sign change falls inside it. Mars crosses into Scorpio — its own sign, your twelfth house — at 1:21 am on Friday 8 October, which is forty-seven hours seven minutes into your Moon window, with twelve hours thirty-seven minutes left before the Moon leaves your sign. So the last half-day of your longest stretch of the month has your eleventh house one body lighter and your twelfth house occupied by a dignified Mars.

Mars in the twelfth in its own sign for the rest of the month is the placement to handle carefully. The twelfth is expenditure, sleep, travel and hidden matters; a strong Mars there spends energy invisibly, which shows up as a poor sleep cycle and money going out on things you would not have chosen calmly. See our Mangal remedies and Tuesday fasting pages.

Saturn Reaches Your Fourth House on the Twentieth

On 20 October retrograde Saturn crosses out of Aries, your fifth house, into Pisces, your fourth. Its debilitation ends — Aries is Saturn’s sign of fall, Pisces is not — so what arrives in your fourth house is a dignified Saturn rather than a weak one.

That is a mixed result and should be said as one. A stronger Saturn is better for everything Saturn does well: structure, endurance, long projects, property held rather than traded. It is worse for the specific things the fourth house measures: domestic ease, the mother’s health, and the plain quality of your peace of mind at the end of a day. Expect the house to feel more serious from the 20th, not more troubled.

The Full Moon had already lit it. It forms at 7:17 pm on Friday 15 October, at 27°42′ of Pisces, in Revati pada 4, in your fourth house — and Saturn reverses into that same Revati pada 4 five days later. Sharad Purnima falls on Thursday 14 October, and its tithi runs out at that Full Moon instant. Whatever the lunation showed you about the household is what Saturn then settles into.

We publish Saturn’s move as a day and not a clock time. At the boundary it is moving at 0.079° a day — under two and a half minutes of arc in twenty-four hours — so a published instant would depend on which ayanamsa value you use. Mercury’s stations, by contrast, are given to the minute, because a station is intrinsic to the geometry rather than a matter of convention.

The Month’s Fixed Points

  • Friday 1 October — Mercury at 8°18′ of Swati and Mars at 25°05′ of Vishakha in your eleventh, Mercury direct; a debilitated Venus and the Sun in your tenth; Jupiter at 19°58′ of Purva Phalguni in your ninth; Saturn debilitated in your fifth; Rahu in your second, Ketu in your eighth. Sharad Navratri, which began on 30 September, is running.
  • Sunday 3 October, 6:20 pm — Venus leaves your tenth house for your eleventh, in its own sign, out of debilitation.
  • Wednesday 6 October, 2:14 am — the Moon arrives on Dhanu Rashi for fifty-nine hours forty-four minutes, October’s second-longest window.
  • Thursday 7 October, 8:06 pm — Mercury turns retrograde in your eleventh house. Durga Ashtami falls on Thursday 7 October. The ashtami tithi spans two sunrises that year, so some panchangs place the observance a day later — check your family’s.
  • Friday 8 October, 1:21 am — Mars leaves your eleventh house for your twelfth, in its own sign, forty-seven hours seven minutes into the Moon’s stay on your rashi; the Moon leaves at 1:58 pm.
  • Saturday 9 October, 3:05 am — Venus enters Swati in your eleventh house.
  • Saturday 9 October — Maha Navami. Dussehra falls on Saturday 9 October. That day’s panchang.
  • Monday 11 October, 3:02 pm — Mercury and Venus are exact at 9°46′ of Libra in your eleventh house; the Sun enters Chitra at 8:26 am in your tenth.
  • Tuesday 12 October, 6:50 pm — Mars enters Anuradha in your twelfth house.
  • Thursday 14 October — Sharad Purnima. Panchang for the day.
  • Friday 15 October, 7:17 pm — the Full Moon forms in your fourth house at 27°42′ of Pisces, in Revati pada 4; retrograde Mercury reverses into Chitra at 4:26 pm in your eleventh.
  • Monday 18 October, 2:03 am — Tula Sankranti: the Sun enters Libra and your eleventh house, debilitated, for the rest of the month.
  • Tuesday 19 October, 9:00 pm — the Sun and Mercury are exact at 1°47′ of Libra in your eleventh house; Venus enters Vishakha at 8:40 pm. Karva Chauth falls on Tuesday 19 October.
  • Wednesday 20 October — Saturn leaves your fifth house for your fourth, and its debilitation ends. Published as a day rather than an instant, because 0.079° a day makes the boundary ayanamsa-dependent.
  • Thursday 21 October, 8:16 am — retrograde Mercury reverses into Virgo and your tenth house, exalted, for the rest of the month.
  • Sunday 24 October, 7:01 pm — the Sun enters Swati in your eleventh house.
  • Wednesday 27 October, 9:53 pm — Venus leaves your eleventh house for your twelfth, joining Mars. Dhanteras falls on Wednesday 27 October.
  • Thursday 28 October, 7:40 pm — Mercury turns direct in your tenth house, exalted. Narak Chaturdashi falls on Thursday 28 October.
  • Friday 29 October, 7:06 pm — the New Moon forms in your eleventh house at 11°42′ of Libra, in Swati pada 2. Diwali falls on Friday 29 October, and the amavasya tithi ends at that same instant. Panchang for the day.
  • Saturday 30 October, 2:17 pm — Venus enters Anuradha in your twelfth house. Govardhan Puja falls on Saturday 30 October.
  • Sunday 31 October, 7:57 am — Mars enters Jyeshtha in your twelfth house. Bhai Dooj falls on Sunday 31 October.

Week by Week

The month opens on a Friday and closes on a Sunday, which gives it five each of Friday, Saturday and Sunday and four each of the weekdays in between. Thursday is your ruler’s day, and the four it gives you — the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th — all fall with Jupiter visible in your ninth house.

1–7 October

Venus reaches its own sign in your eleventh house at 6:20 pm on Sunday the 3rd; the Moon arrives on your rashi at 2:14 am on Wednesday the 6th; Mercury turns retrograde at 8:06 pm on Thursday the 7th. Durga Ashtami falls on Thursday 7 October. These are the only seven days of October with Mercury moving forwards, so anything needing a signature belongs here.

8–14 October

Mars crosses into your twelfth house in its own sign at 1:21 am on Friday the 8th, inside your Moon window, and the Moon leaves your sign at 1:58 pm the same day. At 3:05 am on Saturday the 9th Venus crosses into Swati; on Monday the 11th the Sun reaches Chitra at 8:26 am and Mercury and Venus come exact at 3:02 pm; Mars reaches Anuradha at 6:50 pm on Tuesday the 12th. Dussehra falls on Saturday 9 October. Sharad Purnima falls on Thursday 14 October.

15–21 October

Five separate changes inside seven days. The Full Moon forms in your fourth house at 7:17 pm on Friday the 15th; Tula Sankranti brings a debilitated Sun into your eleventh at 2:03 am on Monday the 18th; the Sun and Mercury are exact at 9:00 pm on Tuesday the 19th; Saturn reaches your fourth house on Wednesday the 20th; and Mercury reverses into its exaltation in your tenth at 8:16 am on Thursday the 21st. Karva Chauth falls on Tuesday 19 October.

22–28 October

An exalted Mercury sits in your career house all week and turns direct there at 7:40 pm on Thursday the 28th. The Sun enters Swati at 7:01 pm on Sunday the 24th; Venus crosses into your twelfth house at 9:53 pm on Wednesday the 27th. Dhanteras falls on Wednesday 27 October. Narak Chaturdashi falls on Thursday 28 October. The evening of the 28th is the month’s best moment for a professional commitment.

29–31 October

The New Moon forms in your eleventh house at 7:06 pm on Friday the 29th at 11°42′ of Libra, in Swati pada 2 — the single most favourable instant of your month. Diwali falls on Friday 29 October. Venus enters Anuradha at 2:17 pm on Saturday the 30th and Mars enters Jyeshtha at 7:57 am on Sunday the 31st. Govardhan Puja falls on Saturday 30 October. Bhai Dooj falls on Sunday 31 October.

Career and Money for Dhanu Rashi

Career gets the month’s cleanest single event. Virgo is your tenth house, and retrograde Mercury reverses into it, exalted, at 8:16 am on Thursday 21 October, then turns direct there at 7:40 pm on Thursday 28 October. An exalted Mercury stationing direct in the career house is the strongest professional signature available in October, and it falls in the month’s last ten days.

Money is the eleventh house, and the eleventh house is where the whole month is. Venus in its own sign there from the 3rd to the 27th, both exact conjunctions, and the Diwali New Moon at 7:06 pm on 29 October add up to a month of returns — recovered dues, a bonus, a referral, a network paying off. Rahu in your second house all month, from 14°09′ to 12°31′ of Shravana, enlarges the appetite to spend what arrives.

The offsetting item is Mars in its own sign in your twelfth house from the 8th, joined by Venus from the 27th. That is outflow with energy behind it. Read the two together as: October earns well through other people and leaks through convenience. Our pages on money problems and on career obstacles go further into both.

Home, Family and Partnership

Home is where the month asks something of you. Your fourth house takes the Full Moon on the 15th and a newly dignified Saturn from the 20th, in the same Revati pada. Practically: a repair deferred, a parent’s routine, a decision about where you live — one of these becomes concrete rather than optional. Saturn rewards the version of the answer that lasts ten years over the one that is comfortable this month.

Gemini is your seventh house and it stays empty all thirty-one days, with its lord Mercury retrograde for two thirds of the month before ending it exalted in your tenth. So partnership is quiet, and what noise there is arrives as miscommunication rather than as conflict. The wedding calendar stays shut all month in any case, because Chaturmas runs to Devuthani Ekadashi in November. See the marriage muhurat page for October 2027 and our marriage delay page.

If a property or domestic step is planned, the griha pravesh page for October 2027 and the business and property page give the formal dates — and with Saturn arriving in your fourth house on the 20th and Mercury direct from the 28th, the last three days of the month are the better window.

Health

Taurus is your sixth house of illness and it is empty for all thirty-one days, and both of October’s exact conjunctions fall in your eleventh rather than anywhere on the health axis. So there is no sharp trigger in the month. Ketu sits in your eighth house throughout, from 14°09′ to 12°31′ of Pushya, which classically favours detachment and disfavours thorough diagnosis — so do not self-diagnose this month.

Dhanu’s standing weak points are the hips, thighs and liver, all Jupiter-governed, and Jupiter is visible and unafflicted in your ninth house all month, which is a genuinely good background. The practical risk is Mars in its own sign in your twelfth from the 8th: poor sleep and energy spent where you cannot see it. Your Chandra window is 2:14 am on 6 October to 1:58 pm on 8 October, fifty-nine hours forty-four minutes, October’s second-longest — use the 6th and 7th as the month’s deliberate rest, before Mars changes sign inside it.

Remedies for Dhanu Rashi in October 2027

Four conditions define the month: five bodies, both exact conjunctions and the Diwali New Moon in your eleventh house of gains; your ruler visible in your ninth house all thirty-one days, from 19°58′ to 26°00′; a dignified Saturn arriving in your fourth house on 20 October, five days after a Full Moon in the same pada; and an exalted Mercury turning direct in your tenth at 7:40 pm on 28 October.

  • Ask the network for what you are owed between the 3rd and the 27th: Venus is in its own sign in your eleventh house across that window, which is the strongest gains support of your year.
  • Do the Lakshmi Puja properly this year: the Diwali New Moon forms in your eleventh house at 7:06 pm on 29 October, at the instant the amavasya tithi ends.
  • Guru practice on the four Thursdays — 7, 14, 21 and 28 October: Jupiter is visible in your ninth house on all four, never within twenty-three degrees of the Sun. Yellow food, turmeric, and something taught rather than told.
  • Make the household decision after the 20th, not before: Saturn arriving dignified in your fourth house favours the durable answer over the comfortable one.
  • Put the career commitment on or after the evening of the 28th: that is when an exalted Mercury turns direct in your tenth house.
  • Watch the twelfth house from the 8th: Mars in its own sign there, joined by Venus on the 27th, is expenditure with momentum. Set a limit before Dhanteras rather than during Diwali week.
  • Use 6–8 October as rest: the Moon is on your rashi for fifty-nine hours forty-four minutes, October’s second-longest window, and the month gets busier immediately afterwards.

In Summary

For Dhanu Rashi, October 2027 puts the month’s entire concentration in your house of gains. Five of the nine bodies cross your eleventh house; both of the sky’s only two exact conjunctions happen there, at 3:02 pm on 11 October and 9:00 pm on 19 October; Venus holds it in its own sign from 6:20 pm on 3 October to 9:53 pm on 27 October; and the Diwali New Moon forms there at 7:06 pm on Friday 29 October, at 11°42′ of Libra in Swati pada 2.

Your ruler underwrites it from your ninth house, visible for all thirty-one days and never within twenty-three degrees of the Sun, moving from 19°58′ to 26°00′ of Purva Phalguni. The month’s costs are two and both are nameable: a dignified Saturn arriving in your fourth house on 20 October, five days after the Full Moon lit it at 27°42′ of Pisces in Revati pada 4; and Mars in its own sign in your twelfth house from 1:21 am on 8 October — a crossing that happens forty-seven hours seven minutes into the Moon’s fifty-nine-hour-forty-four-minute stay on your own sign.

Everything above is arithmetic done for a whole sign, which is a twelfth of the sky at a time. Which of the nine Dhanu padas holds your natal Moon, where Jupiter and Saturn sit in your own chart, and which dasha is running decide how much of it reaches you. A Diwali lunation in your house of gains

How much of an eleventh-house month actually converts depends on which of your padas holds the natal Moon, where Jupiter and Venus sit in your own chart, and which dasha is running — a sign-level reading cannot settle that.
