Scorpio Rashifal February 2027 (Vrishchika Rashi): Both of February’s Lunations Route Through Your Ruler

Published 2026-08-20 | Live Pandit Ji

A month has two lunations, and in February 2027 both of them answer to Mars, which rules Vrishchika Rashi. The New Moon of Saturday 6 February forms at 23°24′ of Capricorn, in the first pada of Dhanishta — and Dhanishta’s lord is Mars. The Full Moon of Sunday 21 February forms at 7°51′ of Leo, which is 1°51′ from Mars itself.

No other sign has that arrangement this month. And the planet everything routes through is retrograde for all twenty-eight days, retreating from 13°06′ to 3°11′ of Leo. So February hands Scorpio a chart in which the two most sensitive moments of the lunar month are both wired to a ruler that is walking backwards.

Your Ruler in the Tenth: Strong by Direction, Reversed in Motion

Leo is the tenth house from Scorpio. There is a classical detail here that most February readings will skip: the tenth is Mars’s house of digbala, directional strength. Each planet has one such house — Jupiter and Mercury the first, the Moon and Venus the fourth, Saturn the seventh, and the Sun and Mars the tenth.

The caveat matters and is usually omitted: digbala is reckoned from the ascendant, not from the Moon. Calling Leo your tenth house counts from Vrishchika as the Moon sign, which is what a rashifal must do, so the directional strength strictly applies only if Scorpio is also your rising sign. Even without it, the general shape holds — Mars in the tenth is your ruler in the house of profession and public action, which is where a Mars naturally wants to be.

The retrogression is what changes the instruction. A retrograde Mars in the career house does not stop work; it turns work backwards. Old projects return, previous employers reappear, an argument you thought closed reopens. Mars stationed retrograde on 10 January 2027 at 16°12′ of Leo and turns direct only on 1 April 2027 at 7:42 pm, by which time it will have reversed out of Leo entirely, entering Cancer at 12:30 am on 10 March — where Mars is debilitated, and where it will be sitting in your ninth house with exalted Jupiter. February is therefore the strong half of a weakening arc. Do the visible, public, name-attached work now.

The Full Moon Lands Almost on Mars

At 4:53 am on Sunday 21 February, the Full Moon forms at 7°51′ of Leo. Mars is at 6°00′. The gap is 1°51′ — close enough that the two are in the same nakshatra, Magha, with the Moon in its third pada and Mars in its second.

A Full Moon conjunct Mars in the tenth house is a specific and fairly loud configuration: the month’s peak of emotional pressure landing on the house of profession, on the planet that rules your chart, while that planet is retrograde. In practice it looks like a professional confrontation that arrives with more heat than the situation warrants, on or within a day of the 21st. The useful advice is unglamorous — say less that weekend, and put nothing in writing that you would not want quoted.

Magha’s lord is Ketu and its presiding deities are the Pitrs, the ancestors. Ketu is in your ninth house — the house of father, lineage and dharma — with exalted Jupiter. So the chain runs: your ruler sits in a nakshatra whose lord sits with the month’s strongest planet, in the house of the paternal line. Where the 21st turns out to be about family rather than about work, that is why.

Exalted Jupiter in Your Ninth House

Jupiter is exalted in Cancer all February, retrograde, moving from 29°09′ back to 25°32′. Cancer is the ninth house from Scorpio, and the ninth is Jupiter’s own natural domain — dharma, the father, the teacher, higher learning, long journeys, and good fortune in the older sense of the word.

Exalted Jupiter in the ninth is the best thing in your February chart, and it holds until 26 June 2027, with no further visit to Cancer until 2038. It reads as guidance becoming available: a teacher, an elder, a mentor, a text, a pilgrimage. Retrograde, it favours returning to a teacher you already had over finding a new one.

Ketu is in the same house, closing from 26°59′ to 25°30′, and the two converge to an exact meeting on 1 March at 25°27′ of Cancer. Classically, Guru Chandal is Jupiter conjunct Rahu; whether the name extends to a Jupiter–Ketu conjunction is genuinely disputed between later authorities, so the label is best left alone. The arithmetic is not disputed, and the character of Ketu is renunciation, so the honest reading is that the guidance arrives and something is simultaneously being let go of — often the belief system that preceded it. Jupiter turns direct on 13 April 2027 at 7:58 am at 22°45′ of Cancer, the deepest point of the whole visit, which means the exaltation never comes within seventeen degrees of its parama uchcha at 5° Cancer.

Saturn in the Fifth: Neither List

Saturn is in Pisces all month, direct, advancing from 16°01′ to 18°49′, and Pisces is your fifth house. This is worth stating precisely, because vague statements about Saturn are how bad readings get written.

Saturn’s three favourable transit houses from the natal Moon are the third, the sixth and the eleventh. Its named difficult positions are the twelfth, first and second — the three phases of Sade Sati — plus the eighth, called Ardha Ashtama Shani, and the fourth, called Kantaka Shani. The fifth appears on neither list. So for Vrishchika Rashi, Saturn this February is simply doing ordinary Saturn work in the house of children, education, creativity and speculation: slow, demanding, unspectacular, and not an affliction.

Two dates follow from that. Saturn crosses into Revati, the twenty-seventh and final nakshatra of the zodiac, on Monday 8 February, and stays in it until it leaves Pisces. Then on 3 June 2027 it enters Aries — your sixth house, one of the three favourable ones. Scorpio is therefore heading towards a better Saturn, not a worse one, which is not something every sign can say this year.

The Month’s Dated Events

  • Third house, Saturday 6 February: the New Moon forms at 9:26 pm at 23°24′ of Capricorn, in Dhanishta pada 1, the nakshatra your ruler governs, 3°16′ short of Rahu.
  • Fifth house, Monday 8 February: Saturn crosses 16°40′ of Pisces and enters Revati.
  • Fourth house, Tuesday 9 February: Mercury stations retrograde at 11:05 pm at 11°45′ of Aquarius, in Shatabhisha — Rahu’s nakshatra.
  • Third house, Tuesday 9 February: in the same minute as that station, at 11:05 pm, the Sun reaches Rahu’s exact degree, 26°30′ of Capricorn.
  • Third to fourth house, Saturday 13 February: the Sun leaves Capricorn for Aquarius at 10:04 am, the Kumbha Sankranti ingress.
  • Fourth house, Thursday 18 February: the Sun and retrograde Mercury meet at the same degree, 5°34′ of Aquarius, at 10:09 pm.
  • Tenth house, Sunday 21 February: the Full Moon forms at 4:53 am at 7°51′ of Leo, 1°51′ from your retrograde ruler.
  • Fourth to third house, Wednesday 24 February: Mercury reverses back into Capricorn at 4:46 am, and Venus enters it at 3:11 pm.
  • Third house, Wednesday 3 March: Mercury turns direct at 6:02 pm at 26°41′ of Capricorn, which closes the month’s open business.

Week by Week

1 to 7 February

The only week with Mercury still direct, and therefore the week for anything that has to be communicated once and stay communicated. The New Moon of Saturday the 6th falls in your third house — siblings, neighbours, short journeys, courage, and your own capacity to speak — in a nakshatra your ruler governs. As a beginning it is a good one for a piece of writing, a course, or a difficult conversation with a sibling.

8 to 14 February

Tuesday the 9th is the pivot, and it holds two events inside the same minute. Mercury stations at 11:05 pm in your fourth house; the Sun crosses Rahu at 11:05 pm in your third. There is no classical yoga in that proximity — it is a coincidence of the calendar — but it does mean a communication going wrong and a family or property matter flaring on the same night. The Sun changes house on Saturday the 13th at 10:04 am.

15 to 21 February

A fourth-house week: the Sun and retrograde Mercury both there, meeting exactly on Thursday the 18th at 10:09 pm. Home, mother, property and inner state are the subjects, and with Mercury reversed the work is repair rather than acquisition. Then the week ends at the month’s hardest moment — the Full Moon on your retrograde ruler, before dawn on Sunday the 21st.

22 to 28 February

Wednesday the 24th moves two planets into your third house, ten hours and twenty-five minutes apart. Venus there is good for siblings, for travel and for the tone of your own speech; Mercury, still retrograde until 3 March, is better for finishing a written thing than for sending it. The last four days of the month are the calmest of the twenty-eight.

Work and Money

Work has the strongest and the most awkward placement at once. Your ruler is in the career house, which is where you want it, but reversed, so the month favours returning to unfinished professional business over opening new ground. If there is an old client, an old role, or an old dispute at work, February is when it comes back. Handle it; that is what the transit is for. Just do not stake anything new on the 21st or the day either side of it.

Money is quieter. Venus is in your second house of wealth and speech until 3:11 pm on Wednesday the 24th, which is a mildly supportive placement, and then leaves for the third. The eleventh house of gains is empty this month, so income follows from the tenth-house work rather than arriving separately. Venus reaches its exaltation in Pisces, your fifth house, on 15 April 2027, which is the better window for anything speculative — and February, with a retrograde Mars ruling the chart, is not.

Relationships and Family

Taurus, your seventh house, is empty all month, so partnership is reactive rather than driven — a partner will respond to what happens in your tenth and fourth houses rather than raising anything of their own. The forecast for the relationship is therefore mostly a forecast about your temper at work. Mars retrograde in the tenth with a Full Moon on it, on the 21st, is exactly the configuration that brings professional stress home.

The ninth house, with exalted Jupiter and Ketu, points at the father and at elders. Something between guidance and farewell tends to happen in that department this spring; the exact conjunction on 1 March gives it a date to watch. And the third house, taking the New Moon of the 6th and then both Mercury and Venus on the 24th, points at siblings — the last week of February is the better one for repairing anything there.

Health

Mars retrograde is the classical caution against physical intensity, and for Vrishchika Rashi it is also the chart ruler, which doubles the relevance. Hold your training load flat through the retrograde period, which ends on 1 April 2027 — and be particularly careful in the days around the Full Moon of the 21st, when the Moon comes within two degrees of Mars. Injuries under a retrograde Mars have a habit of being re-injuries.

Your sixth house of illness, Aries, is empty this month, which is straightforwardly good: nothing is pressing on the health house in February. That changes on 3 June 2027, when Saturn enters it — and a sixth-house Saturn is favourable rather than damaging, being one of its three good transit houses, so the change is welcome rather than otherwise.

Remedies for Vrishchika Rashi in February 2027

One condition dominates: a retrograde chart ruler in the career house, carrying both of the month’s lunations. Everything below either serves that or supports the exalted Jupiter that is the month’s counterweight.

  • Tuesday observance for Mangal — 2, 9, 16 and 23 February: Tuesday belongs to Mars, your ruler is retrograde in the tenth house, and both lunations of the month route through it. Hanuman Chalisa, red masoor, and jaggery. Tuesday the 23rd is the one closest to the Full Moon’s aftermath and the most useful of the four; the Tuesday fast gives the observance and the weak-Mars remedies the fuller set.
  • Say less on and around Sunday the 21st: a Full Moon 1°51′ from a retrograde Mars in the career house is a configuration for saying something at work that cannot be taken back. This is the single most practical line on the page.
  • Finish rather than start, at work: the direct use of a retrograde ruler in the tenth. Old projects, old clients and old disputes are what February is for; new ventures belong after 1 April 2027.
  • Guru worship on the Thursdays — 4, 11, 18 and 25 February: exalted Jupiter in your ninth house holds until 26 June 2027 and does not return until 2038. Turmeric, chana dal, a yellow cloth, and something given to a teacher or an elder. See the weak-Jupiter remedies.
  • Return to an old teacher instead of finding a new one: a retrograde ninth-house Jupiter works better backwards. The text you half-read, the course you abandoned, the mentor you stopped calling.
  • Remembrance of the ancestors around the 21st: the Full Moon falls in Magha, whose deities are the Pitrs and whose lord Ketu sits in your ninth house of lineage. Water offered facing south, and a simple tarpan; the Pitra Dosh page has the observances.
  • Saturday observance for Shani — 6, 13, 20 and 27 February: Saturn in the fifth house is neither favourable nor named as an affliction, so this is maintenance rather than repair. Sesame oil, black til, and a peepal lamp after sundown; our Shani remedies page covers the forms. Saturn reaches your favourable sixth house on 3 June 2027.
  • Wednesday care with documents — 3, 10, 17 and 24 February: Mercury is retrograde from the 9th and turns direct only on 3 March, which is itself a Wednesday. Read the contract twice, and prefer writing to speech for anything that matters.

In Summary

The February 2027 chart for Vrishchika Rashi has an unusual symmetry. Mars, which rules your sign, is retrograde in your tenth house for all twenty-eight days, moving from 13°06′ to 3°11′ of Leo. The New Moon of Saturday 6 February forms at 9:26 pm in Dhanishta, a nakshatra Mars governs. The Full Moon of Sunday 21 February forms at 4:53 am at 7°51′ of Leo, 1°51′ from Mars itself. Both hinges of the lunar month therefore pass through the same reversed planet.

The counterweight is exalted Jupiter in your ninth house, with Ketu, closing to an exact conjunction on 1 March. That placement holds until 26 June 2027 and then not again until 2038, and it is the reason February is a good month for teachers, texts, elders and dharma even while it is an awkward one for launching things at work.

Saturn sits in your fifth house, on neither the favourable nor the afflicted list, and enters Revati on Monday the 8th. It reaches your favourable sixth house on 3 June 2027. Mars leaves Leo for Cancer, where it is debilitated, at 12:30 am on 10 March, joining Jupiter in your ninth house, and turns direct on 1 April 2027 — which is the real end of this configuration and the point from which new professional ground can be taken.

How hard the 21st actually hits depends on where your Moon sits inside Vrishchika, since the sign’s three nakshatras answer to three different lords — Vishakha to Jupiter, Anuradha to Saturn, Jyeshtha to Mercury — and each of those three is in a different condition this February. The pada-level reading of Vrishchika Rashi works that out, the Mars remedies matter more than usual while your ruler is reversed, and January’s reading covers the station that started all of this.

Is the Full Moon of the 21st on anything in your chart?

7°51′ of Leo is a specific degree, and whether it lands on a planet of yours is a question about your birth time. An astrologer can check it, and date your Mars period properly.
