Virgo Rashifal July 2027 (Kanya Rashi): Mars Arrives Three Hours After Your Ruler Turns Direct

Two things happen on the same early morning and the gap between them is the most interesting number in a Kanya reading for July 2027. Mercury — the planet that rules your sign — ends twenty-five days of retrograde motion at 1:10 am on Monday 5 July. Mars crosses out of Leo and onto Kanya Rashi at 4:24 am the same morning. That is a gap of three hours fourteen minutes: your ruler starts moving forward, and then energy arrives on your sign.

Mars then stays on your sign for twenty-six days, covering 15°27′ and crossing from Uttara Phalguni, which the Sun rules, into Hasta, which the Moon rules, at 7:19 pm on Thursday 22 July. Mars on the rashi is not comfortable — it is heat, impatience and a short fuse in the house of the body — but in Virgo it is precise rather than reckless, and it is the most productive placement of Mars a methodical sign can get.

The second big feature is your tenth house. For the first sixteen days of July it holds the Sun, Venus and Mercury in its own sign, and the New Moon of 8:32 am on Sunday 4 July forms in it at 17°42′ of Gemini. Your ruler turns direct there. Three planets and a New Moon in the house of profession, with the chart’s ruler among them and stationing, is about as much attention as a career gets in a single month.

A New Moon in Your Tenth House, and the Station That Follows It

The New Moon at 17°42′ of Gemini in Ardra pada 4 falls in your tenth house of profession, reputation and public position. A New Moon there is the annual reset on what you are known for. The timing is unusually clean: it comes on Sunday the 4th, and the planet that rules both your sign and that house turns direct at 1:10 am the next morning. Decide on the 4th, act on the 5th.

Mercury is in Gemini, its own sign, for almost the whole month. It clears 12° from the Sun on 2 July and stops being combust, turns direct at 1:10 am on Monday 5 July at 3°52′ of Gemini, re-enters Ardra going forward at 1:58 am on Wednesday 14 July and Punarvasu at 3:39 am on Sunday 25 July, then crosses into Cancer and your eleventh house at 6:28 pm on Friday 30 July. Own sign, direct, uncombust, in the house of career: for a Kanya reader that is the best three weeks of professional weather in the quarter.

A word on why we print that station to the minute while giving other things as dates. A station is intrinsic — it is the instant the planet’s apparent motion reverses as seen from Earth, and it does not depend on the ayanamsa a calendar chooses. A pada boundary or a sign entry at low speed does depend on it. So Mercury turning direct gets 1:10 am, and Saturn’s crossing later in this page gets a date.

Twenty-Six Days of Mars on Kanya Rashi

Mars enters your sign at 4:24 am on the 5th and is still there at the end of the month, at 15°27′ in Hasta pada 2. In the twelve days before that it was in your twelfth house, which is the placement people feel as being drained without knowing why; on the 5th that ends and the energy comes above the horizon. Expect to be more forceful, faster to react, and considerably more productive.

The nakshatra sequence matters here. Mars spends the first eighteen days of its Virgo transit in Uttara Phalguni, the Sun’s star, which is stable, patronage-oriented and concerned with contracts and alliances. From 7:19 pm on Thursday 22 July it is in Hasta, the Moon’s star, which is the nakshatra of the skilled hand — craft, dexterity, work done well with the fingers. Mars in Hasta on a Virgo rashi is one of the better combinations in the zodiac for detailed technical work.

The cost is temper and the body. Mars on the rashi classically brings heat: inflammation, cuts, headaches, and arguments you did not intend to have. It also brings a tendency to rush the exact thing your sign is good at not rushing. Debilitated Saturn in the Eighth, and Jupiter in the Twelfth

Saturn is debilitated in Aries and sits in your eighth house, and it barely moves all month: 2°18′ to 3°34′, one degree sixteen minutes in thirty-one days. It clears 3°20′ of Aries around 22 July, leaving the Revati–Ashwini gandanta it entered on 3 June. That is given as a date rather than a minute because at 0.04° a day the crossing shifts by a day or two with the ayanamsa, and a minute would be invented precision.

A debilitated Saturn in the eighth house is the year’s slow difficulty for Kanya: joint finances, insurance, inheritance, loans, and anything to do with what other people owe or hold. Saturn in the eighth is not dangerous so much as grindingly slow, and debilitated it is slower still. The practical form it takes is paperwork that will not resolve — a claim, a settlement, a shared account. Mercury direct from the 5th is what actually helps with that, which is one more reason the 5th matters.

Jupiter holds Leo and your twelfth house for all thirty-one days, running from 0°51′ to 6°54′ inside Magha, changing pada on 14 July and 30 July. Jupiter in the twelfth has a poor reputation and a better reality: it is expenditure, but it is expenditure on things worth spending on — travel, learning, retreat, treatment, charity. It is also the classical placement for moksha-oriented practice. It holds that house into 2028, so this is a year for spending well rather than for accumulating.

Fifty-Three Hours of Moon on Your Sign, and a Fifth-House Full Moon

The Moon reaches Kanya Rashi at 5:59 am on Friday 9 July and leaves at 10:53 am on Sunday 11 July — fifty-two hours fifty-four minutes, comfortably longer than the forty-eight-hour average because the Moon is slowing as it moves towards apogee. It opens four days after Mercury turns direct and with Mars newly on your sign, which makes it the best window in the month for anything that needs both clarity and force.

The Full Moon of 9:14 pm on Sunday 18 July forms at 1°36′ of Capricorn in Uttara Ashadha pada 2, in your fifth house of children, creativity, study and speculation. Rahu holds the same fifth house all month, moving from 19°02′ to 17°23′ and staying in Shravana pada 3 throughout. The Full Moon sits more than seventeen degrees from Rahu, so it lights the house without falling on the node — illumination, not distortion.

It falls on Guru Purnima, and the Purnima tithi ends at exactly that instant, because a Full Moon is the moment the tithi closes. 15–21 July

Your career house begins emptying. Karka Sankranti at 5:42 am on Saturday the 17th moves the Sun out of the tenth and into your eleventh house of gains, where Ketu sits, and begins the sidereal Dakshinayana. On Sunday the 18th the Full Moon fills your fifth house at 9:14 pm on Guru Purnima, with the Purnima tithi ending at the same instant. The Sun enters Pushya at 5:35 pm on Tuesday the 20th. A good week for a child’s education and a poor one for speculation.

22–28 July

Mars sharpens. It enters Hasta on your own sign at 7:19 pm on Thursday the 22nd, and Saturn clears 3°20′ of Aries in your eighth house around the same date, which is usually when the eighth-house paperwork starts moving. Venus crosses into your eleventh at 1:42 am on Friday the 23rd. Mercury enters Punarvasu on Sunday the 25th and Venus reaches Pushya that evening. 29–31 July

Three days that close the career chapter. Mercury leaves your tenth house at 6:28 pm on Friday the 30th, so the house of profession ends the month completely empty after holding three planets and a New Moon. Jupiter reaches Magha pada 3 in your twelfth on the 30th as well. Mars is still on your sign in Hasta. Wednesday the 28th, the last Budhvar of the month, is the day of this stretch worth marking.

Career and Money for Kanya Rashi

Career is the story of the month and the arithmetic is unusually favourable. Three planets in the tenth house, a New Moon there on the 4th, and the ruler of both your sign and that house sitting in its own sign and turning direct in it at 1:10 am on the 5th. Partnership needs care this month, and the reason is Mars. Your seventh house is Pisces, empty all month, but Mars sits on your own sign for twenty-six days directly opposite it.
