Saturn has been in your seventh house for about two years, and May 2027 is its last full month there. It moves from 26°18′ to 29°47′ of Pisces — thirteen arc-minutes from the end of the zodiac — and crosses into Aries and your eighth house on 3 June 2027. Saturn in the eighth from the Moon sign is Ashtama Shani. So the transit that has been auditing your marriage and your partnerships is about to be replaced by one that audits your foundations.

That gives May an unusual shape for Kanya Rashi. It is a closing month, and the thing being closed is the seventh house. And it closes with a gift: Venus, exalted in Pisces, is exact with Saturn at 12:18 am on Saturday 8 May, at 27°08′ of Pisces — the planet of marriage at maximum strength meeting the planet that has been testing your marriage, in the house of marriage, in the first hour of a Saturday.

Venus rules marriage, and Venus rules your second and ninth houses; Saturn has been sitting in your seventh. When they meet, they meet in that seventh house, at 27°08′ of Pisces, in the fourth pada of Revati — which is the gandanta, the unstable junction formed by the last 3°20′ of Pisces and the first 3°20′ of Aries.

An exalted Venus meeting Saturn is the softest form this contact takes. Read as a partnership event, it is a long-standing difficulty becoming discussable: a decision made after two years of postponement, an older partner or in-law relenting, a formality finally completed. Read as a warning, the gandanta says do not force it — conversations begun in that junction have a way of resolving into something other than what was intended.

Saturn spends all of May inside the Pisces gandanta, crossing from the third pada of Revati into the fourth in the first days of the month. At 0.11° a day that pada crossing is worth a day, not a minute, so we do not date it more precisely. What is precise is the sign change: 3 June 2027.

Ashtama Shani has a bad name and half of it is earned. The eighth house is upheaval, hidden matters, inheritance, chronic conditions and the slow dismantling of what you assumed was settled; Saturn there erodes rather than strikes. It also does not arrive cleanly: Saturn turns retrograde in Aries on 9 August 2027, slides back into Pisces and your seventh house on 20 October 2027, and turns direct there on 24 December 2027. Mercury begins May at 18°10′ of Aries in your eighth house and combust — it was exact with the Sun at 2:51 am on 29 April, so it opens the month under three degrees from it. The gap reaches 14° on about 11 May and its widest, nearly 23°, on the 27th and 28th. It enters Taurus and your ninth house at 12:34 pm on Thursday 6 May, and Gemini and your tenth at 6:28 pm on Sunday 23 May.

The nakshatras: Krittika at 10:50 pm on Tuesday 4 May, Rohini at 10:45 am on Tuesday 11 May, Mrigashira at 1:16 am on Wednesday 19 May, and Ardra at 10:20 pm on Saturday 29 May. By the end of the month your ruler is in its own sign, in your career house, direct, fast and clear of the Sun.
