Pisces Rashifal March 2027 (Meena Rashi): The Sun Comes Home to a Sign Saturn Is Already Sitting On

Published 2026-08-21 | Live Pandit Ji

Saturn is on Meena Rashi for the whole of March 2027, direct, moving from 18°49′ to 22°33′ and crossing from the first pada of Revati into the second. Saturn on the Moon sign itself is the middle and heaviest phase of Sade Sati — janma-Shani, Saturn standing on the birth Moon. Every Pisces reading this year has to start there, because everything else is modified by it.

And at 6:55 am on Monday 15 March, the Sun enters Pisces. That is the Meena Sankranti — the solar return for your sign — and it means the Sun spends the second half of the month sitting on your own rashi alongside Saturn. Sun and Saturn together on the Moon sign, during the peak phase of Sade Sati, is the single most demanding configuration any sign faces in March 2027.

It is worth being plain about what that does and does not mean. Sun with Saturn is not calamity; it is friction between authority and endurance. It shows up as a senior figure who is unimpressed, as recognition withheld, as your own vitality being met by resistance, and as a persistent sense of doing more than is being noticed. Sade Sati under it makes the second fortnight of March feel slower and heavier than the first, and no remedy makes that untrue. What helps is knowing it is scheduled.

When the Peak Ends

Saturn leaves Pisces on 3 June 2027 and enters Aries, which is your second house. That ends the peak phase and begins the third and final phase of Sade Sati. It is not the end of the passage — the second-house phase still presses on savings and speech — but it is the end of Saturn standing on your Moon, and for most people that is the part they feel.

The transition is staggered rather than clean. Saturn returns to Pisces on 20 October 2027 for a final stretch, and only settles in Aries for good on 23 February 2028. So there is one more visit to come. From the start of March, the first release is eleven weeks away, and the complete release is just under a year. Our Sade Sati page lays out all three phases, and the Shani dosh page has the observances.

Two details are worth holding onto. Saturn is direct all month, not retrograde — so whatever it is grinding is moving forwards, not being revisited. And it is in Revati, the last nakshatra of the zodiac, which is classically the gentlest place in Pisces: Revati is ruled by Mercury and associated with safe arrival at the end of a journey. Saturn passing through it is not the harshest version of janma-Shani available.

Your Ruler Is Exalted in Your Fifth House

The counterweight is real and it is large. Jupiter rules Meena Rashi, and Jupiter is exalted in Cancer — which is the fifth house from Pisces. Your own ruling planet, at its absolute strongest, in the house of children, learning, creativity and the mind’s pleasure. Jupiter is also the natural benefic of the fifth house, so this is a placement working with the grain rather than against it. It holds until 26 June 2027.

That is the answer to how a Pisces gets through Sade Sati’s peak: through the fifth house. A child, a course of study, a creative project, teaching someone, or something you make because you want to. While the first house is being pressed by Saturn and the Sun, the fifth is being funded by an exalted Jupiter. Spend time there deliberately — it is not indulgence this year, it is where the chart is strong.

Two qualifications. Jupiter is retrograde through March and turns direct at 7:58 am on 13 April 2027 at 22°45′ of Cancer, so a fifth-house matter is under review this month rather than concluding. And Ketu shares the house — the two were exact on Monday 1 March at 25°27′ of Cancer, which is the Guru-Chandal contact, and it takes some of the warmth out of the blessing. Advice from a teacher may land oddly; a child may be more distant than usual.

Then at 12:30 am on Wednesday 10 March, Mars reverses out of your sixth house and back into Cancer, debilitated, joining them. Three bodies in your fifth, inside about four degrees of Ashlesha. Mars debilitated in the fifth is friction with a child or a student, and effort in a creative matter that will not convert — it turns direct at 7:42 pm on Thursday 1 April 2027 at 26°41′ of Cancer, the degree it stalls at through the last week of March.

Venus Over Rahu in Your Eleventh House on 17 March

Capricorn is your eleventh house — income, gains, elder siblings, and the network of people who are supposed to help. Rahu occupies it all month at 25°30′ falling to 23°51′, in Dhanishta, and two planets cross it.

Mercury turns direct there at 6:02 pm on Wednesday 3 March at 26°41′ of Capricorn, about a degree from Rahu, ending the retrograde that began at 11:05 pm on 9 February. In the eleventh house that is a useful station: a contact who went quiet responds, an invoice that was disputed gets resolved, a group matter unsticks. It is the best working date in the first week, and it comes two days before Mercury and the Sun both change nakshatra on Friday the 5th.

Then Venus meets the same node exactly at 7:23 am on Wednesday 17 March at 24°38′. Venus over Rahu in the eleventh is inflated expectation of gain — the introduction that promises more than it delivers, the group that is more enthusiastic than solvent, the friend whose scheme sounds better than it is. Under Sade Sati, an eleventh-house disappointment costs more than it otherwise would, because there is less slack. Take the introduction; do not fund it. Venus leaves for your twelfth house at 6:47 pm on Sunday the 21st.

A Twelfth-House New Moon, a Seventh-House Full Moon

The New Moon forms at 2:59 pm on Monday 8 March at 23°18′ of Aquarius, in Purva Bhadrapada. Aquarius is your twelfth house, and a twelfth-house New Moon is the quietest lunation there is: it favours withdrawal, rest, solitary work, a retreat, a pilgrimage, closing something rather than starting it. For most signs that is a weak New Moon. For a Pisces in the peak of Sade Sati, it is arguably the right one — the month’s designated permission to do less. It also falls six days before Holashtak opens on the 14th.

The Moon then reaches Meena Rashi itself from 3:39 am on Tuesday 9 March to 11:19 am on Thursday 11 March. Those are your Chandra days, and they fall immediately after the twelfth-house New Moon and before the Sun arrives on your sign — which makes 9 to 11 March the clearest-headed stretch of the month, and the best window in March for a decision that has to be made.

The Full Moon forms at 4:13 pm on Monday 22 March at 7°18′ of Virgo, in Uttara Phalguni — the Phalguna Purnima that Holika Dahan on Sunday the 21st is counted from. Virgo is your seventh house, exactly opposite your sign, and it holds no planet all month otherwise. A seventh-house Full Moon opposite a Sun-Saturn conjunction on your own sign is a specific picture: your partner, or the person across the table, is illuminated and vocal in a week when you are least resourced. Expect the conversation; do not expect to win it. Being heard is the achievable outcome that week, not prevailing.

The Closures — and Why They Are Named After You

The Sun’s entry into your sign at 6:55 am on the 15th opens Meena Kharmas — the closed period named for Pisces itself, since it is defined by the Sun’s transit of your rashi. It runs to 14 April 2027, and weddings, house-warmings, vehicle purchases and formal beginnings are shut for the whole of it. Before that, Holashtak runs 14 to 21 March, ending at Holika Dahan on Sunday 21 March 2027.

So the auspicious calendar for a Pisces in March is the first thirteen days, and that is where the usable dates sit: Mercury’s station on the 3rd, the New Moon on the 8th, and your own Chandra days from the 9th to the 11th. Everything from the 14th is closed, and the closed stretch is the one carrying Sun-Saturn on your sign, Venus over Rahu, and a seventh-house Full Moon. The calendar and the transits agree for once. Our marriage muhurat page for March 2027 works the arithmetic, and the griha pravesh page covers a move.

The Month’s Fixed Points

  • Monday 1 March — Jupiter, your exalted ruler, is exact with Ketu at 25°27′ of Cancer, in your fifth house.
  • Wednesday 3 March, 6:02 pm — Mercury turns direct at 26°41′ of Capricorn, in your eleventh, a degree from Rahu.
  • Monday 8 March, 2:59 pm — the New Moon forms in your twelfth house at 23°18′ of Aquarius. A lunation for rest, not launch.
  • 9 March 3:39 am to 11 March 11:19 am — the Moon is on Meena Rashi. Your Chandra days, and the month’s clearest stretch.
  • Wednesday 10 March, 12:30 am — retrograde Mars reverses into your fifth house, debilitated in Cancer. Three bodies there.
  • Friday 12 March, 5:00 am — Mercury leaves your eleventh house for your twelfth.
  • Sunday 14 March — Holashtak begins, to Holika Dahan on Sunday 21 March 2027.
  • Monday 15 March, 6:55 am — the Meena Sankranti. The Sun enters your own sign and joins Saturn there. Kharmas begins, to 14 April.
  • Wednesday 17 March, 7:23 am — Venus meets Rahu exactly at 24°38′ of Capricorn, in your eleventh house.
  • Thursday 18 March, 3:14 pm — the Sun crosses into Uttara Bhadrapada, on your own sign.
  • Sunday 21 March, 6:47 pm — Venus moves to your twelfth house, on Holika Dahan.
  • Monday 22 March, 4:13 pm — the Full Moon fills your seventh house at 7°18′ of Virgo, opposite Sun and Saturn on your sign.
  • Thursday 1 April, 7:42 pm — Mars turns direct at 26°41′ of Cancer, in your fifth.
  • 13 April 2027, 7:58 am — Jupiter, your ruler, turns direct at 22°45′ of Cancer.
  • 3 June 2027 — Saturn leaves your sign for your second house. The peak of Sade Sati ends.

Week by Week

Thirty-one days, Monday to Wednesday. Jupiter rules Meena Rashi, so Thursday is your day of the week, and there are four of them: 4, 11, 18 and 25 March. There are also four Saturdays — 6, 13, 20 and 27 — and this year they matter more than usual.

1–7 March

The lightest week of the month, because the Sun is still in your twelfth house and has not yet joined Saturn. Jupiter is exact with Ketu in your fifth on Monday the 1st. Mercury turns direct in your eleventh at 6:02 pm on Wednesday the 3rd — from Thursday, chase the contact or the invoice that went quiet. Thursday the 4th is a good day for it, being your own weekday.

8–14 March

The week to use. The New Moon lands in your twelfth house at 2:59 pm on Monday the 8th — rest rather than launch. Then the Moon reaches your own sign from 3:39 am on Tuesday the 9th to 11:19 am on Thursday the 11th, which is the clearest three days in March: if a decision has to be made this month, make it then. Mars reverses into your fifth at 12:30 am on Wednesday the 10th. Saturday the 13th is the last open day before Holashtak.

15–21 March

The heaviest week of the month, and the year’s hardest for Meena Rashi. The Sun joins Saturn on your own sign at 6:55 am on Monday the 15th and Kharmas begins the same instant. Venus meets Rahu in your eleventh at 7:23 am on Wednesday the 17th — a promising introduction that should not be funded. Expect to be doing more than is being credited. Holika Dahan is Sunday the 21st. Keep the week small and finish what is already started.

22–31 March

The Full Moon fills your seventh house at 4:13 pm on Monday the 22nd, opposite the Sun and Saturn on your sign, so Holi week brings a partner’s view forcefully. Listen rather than argue. The rest of the month is Sun-Saturn on your rashi with Mercury and Venus in your twelfth — quiet, inward, and better spent on the fifth-house work than on anything public. Mars sits nearly still in your fifth at 26°41′ of Cancer, waiting for 1 April.

Career and Money for Meena Rashi

Your tenth house, Sagittarius, is empty all month and no planet enters it, so there is no direct transit pressure on your work. But the Sun-Saturn pairing on your own sign from the 15th does the same job indirectly: the Sun is authority and Saturn is delay, and the two together on the first house is the classic signature of a senior figure being slow to acknowledge you. Do not read that as a verdict on your competence, and do not force the conversation in the second fortnight. Nothing about your standing is decided in March.

Money has one clear risk and one clear opportunity, and they are in the same house. The eleventh is income and gain, it holds Rahu, and Mercury’s station on the 3rd is the opportunity — a payment unstuck, a contact revived. Venus crossing Rahu on the 17th is the risk — a gain talked up rather than banked. Your second house, Aries, is empty this month and receives Saturn on 3 June 2027, when Sade Sati’s third phase begins, so this is a good quarter to build whatever reserve you can before that. Our financial remedies page covers the standing observances.

Partnership, Children and Home

The seventh house is empty for twenty-one days and then gets the brightest Full Moon of the month, on the 22nd, directly opposite Sun and Saturn on your sign. For a married Pisces that is a week in which a partner says what they have been holding — and the transit says they are more clear-sighted that week than you are. The useful response is to take it as information. Sade Sati has a habit of making a partner’s frustration look like a partner’s hostility, and it usually is not.

Children and students are the month’s live subject, because the fifth house holds three bodies. An exalted Jupiter there is genuine good fortune for a child or a course of study, and it is where a Pisces should be putting the time this year. Ketu beside it makes a child seem distant, and a debilitated retrograde Mars from the 10th makes an argument with one unwinnable. Choose the encouraging version deliberately; the transit supports it and the frustration is the weaker signal.

Your fourth house, Gemini, is empty, so home is not itself under pressure — and Kharmas closes a move from 15 March to 14 April in any case. The twelfth house, which takes the New Moon on the 8th and then Mercury and Venus, argues for spending March’s discretionary energy on retreat, solitude, or a pilgrimage rather than on rearranging your circumstances.

Health

Health deserves more attention than usual this month, and not because of the sixth house — Leo is empty from 12:30 am on the 10th and carries nothing after. It is because Saturn on the Moon sign, joined by the Sun from the 15th, is a straightforward description of depleted vitality. Not illness: depletion. Less stamina than the task needs, slower recovery, and a tendency to keep going past the point where rest would have been cheaper.

The dated advice is unusually simple. Use 9 to 11 March, your Chandra days, for anything that needs your full capacity. Use the twelfth-house New Moon on the 8th as permission to rest rather than as a failure to launch. And treat the fortnight from the 15th as a reduced-capacity fortnight by design rather than discovering it by exhaustion. Mercury turning direct on the 3rd is the month’s clearest window for getting a test result or a consultation that actually answers the question.

Remedies for Meena Rashi in March 2027

Four conditions: Saturn on your own sign at the peak of Sade Sati with the Sun joining it on the 15th, an exalted but retrograde ruler in your fifth house with Ketu and a debilitated Mars, Venus over Rahu in your eleventh on the 17th, and a seventh-house Full Moon on the 22nd.

  • Saturday observance for Shani — 6, 13, 20 and 27 March: the month’s central remedy without competition. Saturn is on Meena Rashi, and the peak phase runs until 3 June 2027. Sesame oil, black til, a peepal lamp after sundown, and something given to someone who works with their hands. The 20th, inside the Sun-Saturn fortnight, is the one to keep. Forms on the Shani remedies page, with the full passage on our Sade Sati page.
  • Guru worship on the Thursdays — 4, 11, 18 and 25 March: Jupiter rules Meena Rashi and is exalted in your fifth house until 26 June 2027, which is the counterweight to everything Saturn is doing. The 11th, inside your Chandra days, is the strongest. Turmeric, chana dal, and yellow given to a teacher rather than kept. See weak-Jupiter remedies and Thursday fasting.
  • Surya observance on the Sundays — 7, 14, 21 and 28 March: the Sun joins Saturn on your sign at 6:55 am on the 15th, and a Sun under pressure on the first house is where the sense of being unrecognised comes from. Water offered at sunrise, wheat and jaggery, red or copper. The 21st and 28th are the two that fall inside the conjunction.
  • Ketu observance in the first week: Jupiter and Ketu were exact on 1 March in your fifth house — the Guru-Chandal contact, and the reason a teacher’s or a child’s warmth feels thinner. Black til, a grey cloth given away, a dog fed at your own door. See the weak-Ketu page and our Rahu-Ketu page.
  • Hanuman worship on the Tuesdays — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 March: Mars is retrograde all month and debilitated in your fifth from the 10th, which is why an argument with a child or a student will not resolve by pressure. The 9th, inside your Chandra days and the night before it changes sign, is the pivotal one. See the Mangal remedies page and Tuesday fasting.
  • Decide between 9 and 11 March: the practical instruction. The Moon is on your own sign, the Sun has not yet joined Saturn, and Holashtak has not begun. That is the month’s clear window and it is two and a half days long.
  • Do not fund the eleventh-house introduction on the 17th: Venus over Rahu in the house of gain, during Sade Sati, when there is least slack for a loss.
  • Put the discretionary hours into the fifth house: a child, a course, a creative project, teaching someone. It is the one part of your chart being actively funded this year, and it ends on 26 June 2027.

In Summary

For Meena Rashi, March 2027 is the hardest month of a hard passage. Saturn stands on your own sign all month — the peak phase of Sade Sati — direct, crossing from the first pada of Revati into the second. And at 6:55 am on Monday 15 March the Sun enters Pisces, the Meena Sankranti, and joins it. Sun and Saturn together on the Moon sign during janma-Shani is the month’s most demanding configuration in any of the twelve signs, and the second fortnight is where it is felt.

The release is dated. Saturn leaves your sign for your second house on 3 June 2027, ending the peak and beginning the final phase; it returns to Pisces on 20 October 2027 for one last stretch, and settles in Aries on 23 February 2028. Eleven weeks from the start of March to the first release.

The counterweight is your own ruling planet. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer — your fifth house, and the house Jupiter naturally favours — until 26 June 2027, with Ketu beside it after the exact contact on Monday the 1st at 25°27′, and a debilitated Mars joining from 12:30 am on Wednesday the 10th. Children, study and creative work are where the chart is strong this year. Jupiter turns direct at 7:58 am on 13 April, Mars at 7:42 pm on 1 April.

The month’s usable stretch is short and specific: Mercury turns direct in your eleventh house at 6:02 pm on Wednesday the 3rd, the New Moon falls in your twelfth at 2:59 pm on Monday the 8th, and the Moon is on Meena Rashi from 3:39 am on Tuesday the 9th to 11:19 am on Thursday the 11th. After that, Holashtak from the 14th, Meena Kharmas from the 15th to 14 April, Venus over Rahu in your eleventh at 7:23 am on the 17th, Holika Dahan on Sunday the 21st, and a seventh-house Full Moon at 4:13 pm on Monday the 22nd opposite Saturn and the Sun on your sign. All of that is sign-level: which of the nine Pisces padas holds your natal Moon, and where Saturn sits natally, decides how heavily janma-Shani actually lands. For more, read February’s reading, what Meena Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our Sade Sati page for all three phases.

The peak of Sade Sati is worth reading from your own chart

How heavily janma-Shani lands depends on your natal Saturn, your Moon’s pada, and the dasha running — two Pisces natives can have very different years.
