Pisces Rashifal May 2027 (Meena Rashi): The Peak of Sade Sati, Thirteen Arc-Minutes From Over

Published 2026-08-21 | Live Pandit Ji

Saturn is on Meena Rashi, which is the second and heaviest of the three phases of Sade Sati — the phase where the transit is directly on your Moon sign. May 2027 is its last full month there, and the arithmetic is unusually final: Saturn moves from 26°18′ to 29°47′ of Pisces, which means that at the end of 31 May it is thirteen arc-minutes from the end of the sign. It crosses into Aries and your second house on 3 June 2027.

Two qualifications, both real. Sade Sati does not end on 3 June — it moves into its third and lightest phase, with Saturn in your second house, and that runs on. And Saturn turns retrograde in Aries on 9 August 2027, comes back onto Meena Rashi on 20 October 2027, and turns direct there on 24 December 2027. So the peak returns for a stretch at the end of the year. We do not print a date for the final departure, because it falls outside the range our computed tables cover, and a date we cannot compute is a date we will not assert.

What makes May different from the twenty-odd months behind it is what else is standing on your rashi. Venus is in Pisces for the first ten days of the month — and Pisces is where Venus is exalted. So the planet of comfort, value and relationship is at its maximum strength, on your own sign, in the last month of the hardest phase of Sade Sati. The two are exact at 12:18 am on Saturday 8 May, at 27°08′ of Pisces. For every other rashi that conjunction happens somewhere else in the chart. For Meena Rashi it happens in the first house, on you.

Exalted Venus and Saturn, Both on Your Rashi

Venus begins May at 18°38′ of Pisces and covers the rest of the sign in nine days, catching Saturn at 27°08′ in the first hour of Saturday the 8th, in the fourth pada of Revati. Then it enters Aries and Ashwini at 8:45 am on Monday 10 May, losing exaltation and moving into your second house, and enters Bharani at 8:00 am on Friday 21 May.

The classical reading of an exalted benefic joining a difficult transit on the Moon sign is relief that arrives inside the pressure rather than after it. Practically, the first ten days of May are the window in which the things Venus governs work in your favour while Saturn is still on you: a relationship steadying, a purchase that turns out well, an appearance that lands, comfort that is actually comfortable. It is the best ten-day stretch Meena Rashi has had in a long time and it is not repeated.

The caution is the gandanta. The last 3°20′ of Pisces and the first 3°20′ of Aries form a junction the texts treat as unstable, and Saturn is inside it for every day of May — it crosses from the third pada of Revati into the fourth in the first days of the month, and at 0.11° a day that crossing is worth a day rather than a minute, so we do not date it more finely. A ruler-of-the-hour in a gandanta on your own sign is why the last month of the peak often feels worse than the year before it: nearly over, and least stable at the same time. See our Sade Sati page for the three phases and the Shani dosh page for what to do while this one runs.

Your Exalted Ruler in Your Fifth House

Jupiter rules Meena Rashi, and in May it is exalted in Cancer, in your fifth house — children, learning, creativity, romance, the mind at play. That is a genuinely strong position for the lord of your sign, and it is the counterweight to everything Saturn is doing. Jupiter moves only 2°55′ all month, from 23°14′ to 26°09′, entirely inside Ashlesha, crossing from the second pada to the third. It has been direct since 13 April.

Ketu shares the house, which is why the exaltation has not been registering: the two were exact on 20 April, and Ketu’s effect on whatever it touches is to make it not count. May is the month they come apart — 58 arc-minutes on 1 May, 5°32′ by the 31st — so your ruler becomes progressively more available as the month runs. The end of May is better than the start, in everything except Venus.

And it has a deadline of its own. Jupiter enters Leo and your sixth house at 4:48 am on 26 June 2027, losing exaltation and taking the benefic out of your fifth house. So the two best things in your chart — an exalted ruler in the fifth, and Saturn about to step off your rashi — are both events of the next seven weeks. Anything to do with a child, a course, an examination, a creative project or a romance belongs in May and June rather than in the second half of the year.

A Full Moon in Your Ninth House

The Full Moon forms at 4:29 pm on Thursday 20 May at 5°00′ of Scorpio, in the first pada of Anuradha, in your ninth house — dharma, fortune, the father, teachers, long journeys and belief. For a Jupiter-ruled sign a ninth-house Full Moon is the friendliest possible lunation: it is your ruler’s own house, lit up, on a Thursday, which is your ruler’s own weekday. That coincidence is worth using rather than admiring.

The New Moon of 4:28 pm on Thursday 6 May falls at 21°30′ of Aries, in the third pada of Bharani, in your second house of money, speech and family — fourteen days and one minute earlier, also on a Thursday. Two Thursday lunations in one month, one in your money house and one in your fortune house, in the last full month of the peak of Sade Sati.

Two Chandra Windows, and Two Months of Open Calendar

The Moon crosses Meena Rashi twice this month, which only two of the twelve signs manage. The first window runs from 8:23 pm on Sunday 2 May to 3:14 am on Wednesday 5 May — fifty-four hours and fifty-one minutes. The second runs from 5:08 am on Sunday 30 May to 12:49 pm on Tuesday 1 June, fifty-five hours and forty-one minutes, which straddles the month end and finishes two days before Saturn steps off your sign.

No closure falls anywhere in May — no Kharmas, no Holashtak, no Chaturmas, no Adhika Maas, and neither Jupiter nor Venus combust. All 31 days are open, inside an unbroken run of 82 open days from 15 April to 5 July 2027, the longest run in the two years our tables cover. It ends because Venus goes combust on 6 July 2027 and stays combust until 17 September.

For Meena Rashi that matters more than usual. Things get deferred during Sade Sati, and the calendar being fully open in the two months when Saturn finally steps off your rashi is the practical opportunity of the year. See marriage, griha pravesh, vehicle purchase, business and property and child samskaras for May 2027 — the last of those being the one your exalted ruler in the fifth house argues for.

The Sankranti, and Mercury’s Long Run

The Sun is exalted in Aries in your second house until 12:14 pm on Saturday 15 May, when Vrishabha Sankranti moves it into Taurus and your third house. It enters Krittika at 1:22 am on Wednesday 12 May and Rohini at 9:39 pm on Tuesday 25 May. An exalted Sun in the second house is confident speech and money that comes from your own standing; in the third it becomes effort and initiative.

Mercury covers 50°11′ in May, more than any other body, climbing from your second house to your fourth: Taurus at 12:34 pm on Thursday 6 May and Gemini, its own sign, at 6:28 pm on Sunday 23 May. It opens the month combust, having been exact with the Sun at 2:51 am on 29 April; the separation reaches 14° around the 11th and nearly 23° by the 27th, and Mercury turns retrograde on 10 June. So the last week of May into the first of June is the clean window for a document, and the first week of May is not.

Mars spends every day of the month in your sixth house — Leo, 1°12′ to 12°49′, never leaving Magha and ending 31 arc-minutes short of the next nakshatra. The sixth is one of the houses where Mars is useful rather than difficult: it fights on your behalf. Competitors, litigation, an argument you did not start and illness are all easier to win this month than to avoid.

The Month’s Fixed Points

  • 1 May — Saturn is at 26°18′ of Pisces on your rashi and exalted Venus is at 18°38′ of the same sign; your exalted ruler and Ketu are 58 arc-minutes apart in your fifth house.

  • 26 June 2027, 4:48 am — your ruler leaves your fifth house for your sixth, losing its exaltation.

Week by Week

Thirty-one days, Saturday to Monday, so five Saturdays, five Sundays and five Mondays and four of everything else. Jupiter rules Meena Rashi, so your day is Thursday — 6, 13, 20 and 27 May — and every one of them catches your ruler exalted, with the Full Moon landing in your ninth house on the third of them.

1–7 May

The best week of the month for anything Venus governs, because exalted Venus is on your rashi for all of it and the Moon joins it from 8:23 pm on Sunday the 2nd to 3:14 am on Wednesday the 5th. Mercury is combust in your second house at the start and reaches your third at 12:34 pm on Thursday the 6th, with the New Moon forming in your second house four hours later at 4:28 pm. Plan the money; do not sign for it yet.

8–14 May

The week the month turns on. Exalted Venus is exact with Saturn on your rashi at 12:18 am on Saturday the 8th, at 27°08′ of Pisces — the single most personal minute of your year so far. Venus leaves for your second house at 8:45 am on Monday the 10th, and Mercury clears the Sun’s glare around the 11th. Thursday the 13th is a good day: your weekday, your ruler exalted, the paperwork finally safe.

15–21 May

Your fortunate week. The Sankranti moves the Sun into your third house at 12:14 pm on Saturday the 15th, and the Full Moon fills your ninth house at 4:29 pm on Thursday the 20th — your ruler’s house, on your ruler’s weekday. Travel, a teacher, a father, a blessing asked for properly, or a decision about what you actually believe: this is the week for the large question rather than the small task.

22–28 May

The working week of the month. Mercury reaches its own sign in your fourth house at 6:28 pm on Sunday the 23rd and its widest separation from the Sun on the 27th at nearly 23°, so documents, negotiations and study all work better now than at any earlier point in May. Your exalted ruler is more than 4° clear of Ketu by the end of the week, which is the first time the fifth house has been legible in months.

29–31 May

Three days with the Moon arriving on your rashi at 5:08 am on Sunday the 30th for the second time this month. Mercury enters Ardra at 10:20 pm on Saturday the 29th. The month closes on Monday the 31st with Saturn thirteen arc-minutes from the end of your sign and the peak of Sade Sati three days from over. If there is one thing you have been waiting two and a half years to start, start it in this window.

Career and Money for Meena Rashi

Your tenth house is Sagittarius, it is empty all month, and its lord is your own ruler — exalted, in your fifth house. Career therefore runs through the fifth house this month rather than through the tenth: what you make, teach, create or are personally credited for does more for your position in May than any formal step would. The ninth-house Full Moon of the 20th supports the same reading, since the ninth and tenth together are where recognition actually comes from.

Money has two dates. The New Moon of Thursday 6 May falls in your second house of income, and exalted Venus enters that house at 8:45 am on Monday the 10th and stays for the rest of the month — Venus loses its exaltation on the way in, but a benefic in the money house is still a benefic in the money house. Rahu holds your eleventh house of gains all month in Capricorn, from 22°16′ to 20°37′, never leaving Shravana pada 4 — the eleventh being one of the two houses where Rahu is conventionally read as productive rather than destabilising, provided the gain is not chased. And Mars in your sixth house all month is a good position for recovering what is owed to you. See our financial remedies page and career remedies.

Home, Family and Partnership

Relationship is the part of the month that is genuinely well supported, and the support is front-loaded. Exalted Venus on your rashi for ten days, exact with Saturn on the 8th, is the classical signature for a relationship that steadies under pressure rather than in spite of it — and the calendar is completely open. If a marriage has been waiting for Sade Sati’s peak to pass, note that Venus goes combust on 6 July until 17 September, which makes May and June the two clean months of 2027. See the May 2027 marriage muhurat page and our marriage delay remedies.

Children and study belong to your fifth house, and your exalted ruler is sitting in it, coming free of Ketu across the month and leaving on 26 June. Anything to do with a child — a naming, a first schooling, an examination, a decision about a course — is better placed in May or June than later in the year, and the child samskaras page for May 2027 lists the dates.

Family and speech belong to the second house, and that is where Saturn goes on 3 June. Expect the pressure to move from you personally to money and to what is said at home. The last week of May is the time to settle a family question while Saturn is still off that house.

Health

Meena Rashi governs the feet, the lymphatic system and the body’s fluid balance, and Saturn on the Moon sign is the transit most often reported as fatigue rather than illness — low energy, poor sleep, a sense of carrying weight. Its last full month is a reasonable time to stop treating that as normal.

Two things help. Mars in your sixth house of illness for all thirty-one days is aggressive in your favour, which reads as a good month to treat something rather than manage it. And Mercury in its own sign from 6:28 pm on 23 May makes diagnosis and appointments go better. Your Chandra windows — 2 May 8:23 pm to 5 May 3:14 am, and 30 May 5:08 am to 1 June 12:49 pm — are the right times to begin a regimen, and the second one runs straight into the week Saturn steps off your sign.

Remedies for Meena Rashi in May 2027

Four conditions: Saturn’s last full month on your rashi, in the gandanta, at the peak of Sade Sati; exalted Venus on the same sign for ten days and exact with Saturn on the 8th; your exalted ruler in your fifth house, separating from Ketu, with a 26 June deadline; and a Full Moon in your ninth house on your ruler’s weekday.

  • Saturday observance for Shani — 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 May: five Saturdays in the last full month of the peak, and the 8th carries the exact Venus contact in its first hour. Sesame oil, black til, a peepal lamp after sundown, and something given to someone who works with their hands. See the Shani remedies page, Saturday fasting and our Sade Sati page.
  • Guru worship on the Thursdays — 6, 13, 20 and 27 May: your ruler is exalted, direct and pulling clear of Ketu, and the Full Moon of the 20th falls on a Thursday in your ninth house, which is your ruler’s own. Turmeric, chana dal, yellow given to a teacher rather than kept. This is the strongest remedy available to Meena Rashi in May. See weak-Jupiter remedies and Thursday fasting.
  • Shukra observance on Friday 7 May above all: the one Friday that catches Venus exalted on your own rashi, on the eve of its meeting with Saturn. White cloth, rice, ghee, and something done for a relationship rather than for yourself. Continue on 14, 21 and 28 May — see Shukra remedies and Friday fasting.
  • Use the fifth house before 26 June: the practical remedy. An exalted ruler in the house of children, learning and creative work, coming free of Ketu, is the best position in your chart and it expires. Enrol, apply, begin, or do the samskara.
  • Ketu observance while it sits with your ruler: Ketu holds your fifth house all month in Ashlesha, from 22°16′ to 20°37′, which is the reason the exaltation has not been landing. Feeding a dog, a blanket given away, Ganesha before anything begun. See Ketu remedies and our Rahu–Ketu page.
  • Hanuman worship on the Tuesdays — 4, 11, 18 and 25 May: Mars is in your sixth house in Magha for the whole month, which is Mars fighting on your side. Red flowers, sindoor, Hanuman Chalisa after sunset, and the courage to put the disputed thing in writing. See Mangal remedies and Tuesday fasting.
  • Guard what you say from June: Saturn moves to your second house of speech and family on 3 June. The remedy is to settle the family question in the last week of May instead.

In Summary

For Meena Rashi, May 2027 is the last full month of the peak of Sade Sati. Saturn spends it on your rashi, moving from 26°18′ to 29°47′ of Pisces — ending the month thirteen arc-minutes from the end of your sign, inside the Revati gandanta throughout — and crosses into your second house on 3 June 2027. That ends the second phase and begins the third; Saturn comes back onto your rashi on 20 October 2027 and turns direct there on 24 December.

The month’s gift is on the same sign. Venus is exalted in Pisces for the first ten days and exact with Saturn at 12:18 am on Saturday 8 May at 27°08′ — and of the twelve rashis, Meena is the only one for which that conjunction falls in the first house. Your ruler is exalted in your fifth house all month, pulling clear of Ketu from 58 arc-minutes on the 1st to 5°32′ by the 31st, and leaves on 26 June.

The Full Moon of 4:29 pm on Thursday 20 May falls in your ninth house — your ruler’s house, on your ruler’s weekday. You get two Chandra windows, 2–5 May and 30 May to 1 June, which only two signs manage this month. And every day of May is open, inside the longest open run in the two years our tables cover. All of it is sign-level: which of the nine Pisces padas holds your natal Moon, where your natal Saturn and Jupiter sit, and which dasha is running decide how much of this lands. For more, read April’s reading, what Meena Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our Sade Sati page.

Thirteen arc-minutes from the end of your sign

The peak of Sade Sati ending on 3 June, with a return in October, is worth reading against your own chart — your natal Saturn, your dasha and your Moon’s pada decide what actually lifts and what carries over.
