Pisces Rashifal October 2027 (Meena Rashi): The Full Moon Forms on Your Own Sign in Revati Pada 4, and Saturn Reverses Into That Same Pada Five Days Later
Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji
October 2027 gives Meena Rashi the tidiest pair of events in the whole zodiac this month, and they are five days apart. The Full Moon forms on your own sign at 27°42′, in Revati pada 4, at 7:17 pm on Friday 15 October. Then, on 20 October, retrograde Saturn crosses backwards out of Aries onto Meena — into that same Revati pada 4. The month lights the last quarter of your sign, and then Saturn moves in to it.
Both halves need saying plainly. Saturn leaves its debilitation in that crossing, because Aries is the sign of its fall and Pisces is not — so it arrives stronger than it left. And Saturn on the Moon sign itself is the middle and heaviest leg of Sade Sati. Your ruler had already moved past that leg into your second house; because it is retrograde, the peak comes back.
The month is not without support, and the support is real rather than consoling. Mars reaches Scorpio, its own sign and your ninth house of fortune and dharma, at 1:21 am on Friday 8 October and holds it for the remaining twenty-three days and twenty-two hours. An exalted Mercury reverses into your seventh house on the 21st and turns direct there on the 28th. And Jupiter, your ruler, is visible for all thirty-one days — it never comes within twenty-three degrees of the Sun this month, nowhere near the glare that hides a planet.
A Full Moon on Your Own Sign, in the Pada Saturn Then Takes
The Full Moon forms on your own sign at 27°42′ of Pisces at 7:17 pm on Friday 15 October, in Revati pada 4 — the last quarter of the last nakshatra of the zodiac. Sharad Purnima falls on Thursday 14 October, and the purnima tithi runs out at that exact instant, which is why the two land a day apart in the calendar.
A Full Moon on the rashi is the month at its most visible for you: the Moon is full, in your own sign, and whatever has been building since the previous New Moon becomes legible. Then Saturn arrives in the same pada on the 20th. The sequence — lit, then occupied — gives you a five-day window in which you can see the thing clearly before the discipline arrives to organise it. Use it.
The Moon holds Meena from 2:31 pm on Wednesday 13 October to 11:29 pm on Friday 15 October — fifty-six hours fifty-eight minutes, and the only visit the Moon pays your sign in October. The lunation happens fifty-two hours forty-six minutes into that stay, with four hours twelve minutes left before the Moon leaves. So your Chandra window and your Full Moon are the same window, which happens to no other rashi this month.
What Saturn’s Return Actually Means
Sade Sati is Saturn’s passage through three signs read from the natal Moon: the twelfth, then the Moon sign, then the second. For Meena those are Aquarius, Pisces and Aries. Saturn had worked through the first two and reached Aries, the closing leg. On the 20th it reverses back over the boundary and the middle leg — Saturn on your own sign — resumes.
Say what that is and what it is not. It is a demand on your body, your time and your sense of yourself, and it tends to arrive as tiredness and as a reduced tolerance for things you had been carrying out of habit. It is not a punishment, and it is not the same as a first pass: you have already been through this leg once, so you know its shape. Saturn also arrives out of its fall, which means what it asks for is more coherent than what it asked for from Aries — less erratic pressure, more steady weight.
The practical instruction from every classical source on this transit is the same and it is dull: reduce the number of things you are responsible for, sleep properly, and do not start what you cannot finish slowly. Our Sade Sati page covers the three legs in full, and Shani dosh deals with the natal condition, which is a separate question from a transit.
We publish the crossing as a day rather than a clock time. At the boundary Saturn is moving at 0.079° a day — under two and a half minutes of arc in twenty-four hours — so a published instant would be a report on your ayanamsa setting rather than on the sky. Mercury’s stations, below, are given to the minute, because a station is intrinsic to the geometry and does not depend on where the zodiac’s origin is placed.
Your Ruler Spends the Month in a Dusthana
Jupiter rules Meena and spends all thirty-one days of October in Leo, your sixth house, moving from 19°58′ to 26°00′ — from Purva Phalguni pada 2 into pada 4. The sixth is one of the three dusthanas, and a benefic there is classically wasted rather than harmed: Jupiter’s expansion goes into the things the sixth house counts, which are debt, disputes, service and illness.
The usable side of that is real, though, and it is worth naming. Jupiter in the sixth is one of the better positions for clearing a debt, closing a dispute on decent terms, or being genuinely good at a job that consists of solving other people’s problems. It is a poor position for expecting luck to arrive unearned. So October rewards the settlement and punishes the gamble.
Two verification notes. Jupiter stays at least twenty-three degrees from the Sun all month, so it is visible throughout and the placement is weak by house and not by visibility. And its pada changes are given as month-edge positions rather than clock times, because a pada boundary is a subdivision of a nakshatra rather than a sign boundary the ephemeris table holds directly.
Five Bodies, Both Conjunctions and Diwali’s Lunation in Your Eighth
Libra is your eighth house, and October crowds it. Mars is there until 1:21 am on Friday 8 October. Venus arrives in its own sign at 6:20 pm on Sunday 3 October, out of the debilitation it carried through September, and stays to 9:53 pm on Wednesday 27 October. Mercury is there from the first day and turns retrograde at 8:06 pm on Thursday 7 October. The Sun arrives debilitated at 2:03 am on Monday 18 October. Both of the only two exact conjunctions in the sky happen there: Mercury with Venus at 9°46′ at 3:02 pm on Monday 11 October, and the Sun with Mercury at 1°47′ at 9:00 pm on Tuesday 19 October.
And the New Moon forms in your eighth house at 11°42′ of Libra, in Swati pada 2, at 7:06 pm on Friday 29 October. Diwali falls on Friday 29 October, and the amavasya tithi ends at that same instant.
An eighth-house Diwali lunation is not a reason to skip Lakshmi Puja, but it does change what to ask for. The eighth house is joint money, inheritance, insurance, loans, and everything that is nobody’s single property — so the intention that suits this New Moon is a settlement, a policy taken out, a debt restructured, a hidden thing brought into the open. It is a poor moment to launch something in your own name. The debilitated Sun in that house from the 18th says the same in different words: this month, other people’s resources move more easily than your own authority does.
A Dignified Mars in Your Ninth, and an Exalted Mercury in Your Seventh
Mars enters Scorpio, a sign it owns, at 1:21 am on Friday 8 October, and holds your ninth house for twenty-three days, twenty-two hours and thirty-nine minutes, covering twenty-two degrees and eight minutes — from 25°05′ of Vishakha to 17°09′ of Jyeshtha, the second-largest arc any planet covers this month. A dignified Mars in the house of dharma, father, teachers and long journeys is the best-placed planet in your October, and it aspects your own sign from there.
Partnership gets the other good event. Retrograde Mercury reverses into Virgo, exalted, at 8:16 am on Thursday 21 October — Virgo is your seventh house, the sign directly opposite yours — and it turns direct there at 7:40 pm on Thursday 28 October. An exalted Mercury stationing direct in the seventh house is as clean a signature for an agreement, a negotiation or a plain conversation with a partner as the month offers, and it lands in the last three days.
One more contrast worth having in view: Rahu holds your eleventh house of gains all month, from 14°09′ to 12°31′ of Shravana, and Ketu sits in your fifth, from 14°09′ to 12°31′ of Pushya. Rahu in the eleventh amplifies income and the appetite that comes with it; Ketu in the fifth thins out the pleasure you take in your own work. The Moon crosses Ketu’s degree there on Saturday the 23rd — a day, not a minute, because an intra-sign crossing depends on the node model used.
The Month’s Fixed Points
- Friday 1 October — Mercury at 8°18′ of Swati and Mars at 25°05′ of Vishakha in your eighth, Mercury still direct; a debilitated Venus and the Sun in your seventh; Jupiter at 19°58′ of Purva Phalguni in your sixth; Saturn debilitated in your second; Rahu in your eleventh, Ketu in your fifth. Sharad Navratri, which began on 30 September, is running.
- Sunday 3 October, 6:20 pm — Venus leaves your seventh house for your eighth, in its own sign, out of debilitation.
- Thursday 7 October, 8:06 pm — Mercury turns retrograde in your eighth house. Durga Ashtami falls on Thursday 7 October. The ashtami tithi spans two sunrises that year, so some panchangs place the observance a day later — check your family’s.
- Friday 8 October, 1:21 am — Mars leaves your eighth house for your ninth, in its own sign, for the rest of the month.
- Saturday 9 October, 3:05 am — Venus enters Swati in your eighth house.
- Saturday 9 October — Maha Navami. Dussehra falls on Saturday 9 October. That day’s panchang.
- Monday 11 October, 3:02 pm — Mercury and Venus are exact at 9°46′ of Libra in your eighth house; the Sun enters Chitra at 8:26 am in your seventh.
- Tuesday 12 October, 6:50 pm — Mars enters Anuradha in your ninth house.
- Wednesday 13 October, 2:31 pm — the Moon arrives on Meena Rashi for fifty-six hours fifty-eight minutes, its only visit to your sign this month.
- Thursday 14 October — Sharad Purnima. Panchang for the day.
- Friday 15 October, 7:17 pm — the Full Moon forms on your own sign at 27°42′ of Pisces, in Revati pada 4; retrograde Mercury reverses into Chitra at 4:26 pm in your eighth. The Moon leaves your sign at 11:29 pm.
- Monday 18 October, 2:03 am — Tula Sankranti: the Sun enters Libra and your eighth house, debilitated, for the rest of the month.
- Tuesday 19 October, 9:00 pm — the Sun and Mercury are exact at 1°47′ of Libra in your eighth house; Venus enters Vishakha at 8:40 pm. Karva Chauth falls on Tuesday 19 October.
- Wednesday 20 October — Saturn reverses out of your second house onto Meena Rashi and into Revati; its debilitation ends and the middle leg of Sade Sati resumes. A day, not a minute: at 0.079° a day the boundary is ayanamsa-dependent.
- Thursday 21 October, 8:16 am — retrograde Mercury reverses into Virgo and your seventh house, exalted, for the rest of the month.
- Saturday 23 October — the Moon crosses Ketu’s degree in your fifth house; a day, not a minute.
- Sunday 24 October, 7:01 pm — the Sun enters Swati in your eighth house.
- Wednesday 27 October, 9:53 pm — Venus leaves your eighth house for your ninth, joining Mars. Dhanteras falls on Wednesday 27 October.
- Thursday 28 October, 7:40 pm — Mercury turns direct in your seventh house, exalted. Narak Chaturdashi falls on Thursday 28 October.
- Friday 29 October, 7:06 pm — the New Moon forms in your eighth house at 11°42′ of Libra, in Swati pada 2. Diwali falls on Friday 29 October, and the amavasya tithi ends at that same instant. Panchang for the day.
- Saturday 30 October, 2:17 pm — Venus enters Anuradha in your ninth house. Govardhan Puja falls on Saturday 30 October.
- Sunday 31 October, 7:57 am — Mars enters Jyeshtha in your ninth house. Bhai Dooj falls on Sunday 31 October.
Week by Week
Thirty-one days running Friday to Sunday. Five Fridays, five Saturdays and five Sundays; four each of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday is your ruler’s day and October gives four — the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th — with Jupiter visible on all four, though working from your sixth house.
1–7 October
Venus reaches its own sign in your eighth house at 6:20 pm on Sunday the 3rd, and Mercury turns retrograde there at 8:06 pm on Thursday the 7th. Durga Ashtami falls on Thursday 7 October. These are the only seven days of the month with Mercury direct, so anything that needs a signature belongs here rather than in the fortnight that follows.
8–14 October
Mars crosses into your ninth house in its own sign at 1:21 am on Friday the 8th — the best transit of your month, and it begins quietly. Venus enters Swati at 3:05 am on Saturday the 9th; Mercury and Venus are exact at 3:02 pm on Monday the 11th; Mars enters Anuradha at 6:50 pm on Tuesday the 12th; the Moon arrives on your own sign at 2:31 pm on Wednesday the 13th. Dussehra falls on Saturday 9 October. Sharad Purnima falls on Thursday 14 October.
15–21 October
Your month in one week. The Full Moon forms on your own sign at 7:17 pm on Friday the 15th and the Moon leaves at 11:29 pm; Tula Sankranti brings a debilitated Sun into your eighth at 2:03 am on Monday the 18th; the Sun and Mercury are exact at 9:00 pm on Tuesday the 19th; Saturn returns to your own sign on Wednesday the 20th; and an exalted Mercury reverses into your seventh at 8:16 am on Thursday the 21st. Karva Chauth falls on Tuesday 19 October. The five days from the lunation to Saturn’s arrival are the ones to spend deciding what you will stop carrying.
22–28 October
An exalted Mercury sits in your seventh house all week and turns direct there at 7:40 pm on Thursday the 28th — the month’s best moment for an agreement. The Moon crosses Ketu’s degree in your fifth on Saturday the 23rd; the Sun enters Swati at 7:01 pm on Sunday the 24th; Venus joins Mars in your ninth house at 9:53 pm on Wednesday the 27th. Dhanteras falls on Wednesday 27 October. Narak Chaturdashi falls on Thursday 28 October.
29–31 October
The New Moon forms in your eighth house at 7:06 pm on Friday the 29th at 11°42′ of Libra, in Swati pada 2 — a lunation for settlements rather than launches. Diwali falls on Friday 29 October. Venus enters Anuradha at 2:17 pm on Saturday the 30th and Mars enters Jyeshtha at 7:57 am on Sunday the 31st. Govardhan Puja falls on Saturday 30 October. Bhai Dooj falls on Sunday 31 October.
Career and Money for Meena Rashi
Sagittarius is your tenth house and it takes nothing but the Moon this month, from 2:14 am on Wednesday 6 October to 1:58 pm on Friday 8 October. Its lord Jupiter sits in your sixth. So career is not where October acts; the month asks you to hold your position rather than improve it, and the improvement comes through the ninth house instead — a senior person, a teacher, a licence, a longer journey.
Money divides cleanly in two. Rahu in your eleventh house all month enlarges income and the spending that follows it, while your eighth house — joint funds, loans, insurance, anything held with another person — takes five bodies, both exact conjunctions and the Diwali New Moon. Read that as a month when the money that moves is shared money. A loan restructured, a claim filed, a family account settled: these go well. A speculative bet in your own name does not. See our financial remedies page.
Saturn in your second house until the 20th and on your own sign after it has a plain implication for the festival fortnight: Dhanteras on the 27th, Diwali on the 29th and Bhai Dooj on the 31st all fall with Saturn on your rashi. Decide the budget in the middle of the month, while Mercury is still in the eighth, rather than in the week itself.
Home, Family and Partnership
Partnership is the strong side of your October. An exalted Mercury in your seventh house from 8:16 am on Thursday 21 October, turning direct there on the 28th, is a good week and a half for saying what needs saying and writing down what needs writing. Add Mars aspecting your own sign from the ninth and the second half of the month is better for two people deciding something together than the first half was.
Marriage muhurats stay shut for the whole month, since Chaturmas runs to Devuthani Ekadashi in November; the marriage muhurat page for October 2027 sets that out, and our marriage delay page handles the longer question.
At home, Gemini is your fourth house and only the Moon touches it, from 10:54 am on Wednesday 20 October to 2:42 pm on Friday 22 October. What the household will actually notice is Saturn on your rashi from the 20th: less of you available, and a shorter fuse for obligations you never agreed to. Say so in advance rather than after. For a property step, the griha pravesh page and the business and property page for October 2027 give the formal dates.
Health
This is the section that matters most for you this month, and the reason is structural rather than dramatic: Saturn arrives on your own sign on the 20th, and the first house is the body. Expect the last third of October to be the tired part. Jupiter, your ruler, spends all thirty-one days in your sixth house of illness, which cuts both ways — it is a weak house for a benefic, but it does favour a treatment that is followed through to the end rather than abandoned halfway.
Meena’s standing weak points are the feet, the lymphatic system and sleep. All three are the first things a Saturn transit over the rashi touches, so the useful preparation is boring and works: fixed sleep hours, warm oil on the feet, and no new stimulant. Your Chandra window is 2:31 pm on 13 October to 11:29 pm on 15 October, fifty-six hours fifty-eight minutes, and it holds the Full Moon — so it is a window for clarity rather than for rest, and the rest has to be scheduled deliberately after the 20th. See our weak Moon page and Shani remedies.
Remedies for Meena Rashi in October 2027
Four conditions define the month: a Full Moon on your own sign at 27°42′ in Revati pada 4 at 7:17 pm on 15 October; Saturn reversing onto your rashi and into that same pada on 20 October, out of debilitation and back into the middle leg of Sade Sati; a dignified Mars in your ninth house from 1:21 am on 8 October; and five bodies, both exact conjunctions and the Diwali New Moon in your eighth.
- Use the five days after the 15th to decide what you put down: the lunation shows your own sign and Saturn then occupies it. Sade Sati goes better for people who reduce their commitments before it asks them to.
- Shani practice on the five Saturdays — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 October: sesame oil, black til, mustard oil at a Shani sthan, and food given rather than promised. The 23rd and 30th fall with Saturn on your rashi and are the two to weight. See our Saturday fasting page.
- Fix sleep hours before the 20th, not after: the first house is the body, and this transit takes its payment in energy first.
- Guru practice on the four Thursdays — 7, 14, 21 and 28 October: your ruler is visible all month, never within twenty-three degrees of the Sun, but it works from your sixth house, so direct the practice at a debt or a dispute you want closed. Yellow food, turmeric, and something taught.
- Ask the ninth house for help after the 8th: a dignified Mars there favours approaching a senior person, a teacher or an institution directly.
- Put the agreement on or after the evening of the 28th: that is when an exalted Mercury turns direct in your seventh house.
- Make the Diwali intention a settlement, not a launch: the New Moon forms in your eighth house at 7:06 pm on 29 October, at the instant the amavasya tithi ends.
In Summary
For Meena Rashi, October 2027 turns on two events five days apart in the same pada of the same sign — your own. The Full Moon forms on Meena at 27°42′ in Revati pada 4 at 7:17 pm on Friday 15 October, fifty-two hours forty-six minutes into the Moon’s only visit to your sign this month and four hours twelve minutes before it leaves. Then on 20 October retrograde Saturn reverses onto your rashi and into that same pada, ending its debilitation and resuming the middle leg of Sade Sati.
The counterweights are specific. Mars holds your ninth house in its own sign for twenty-three days and twenty-two hours from 1:21 am on 8 October, covering twenty-two degrees and eight minutes and aspecting your own sign from there. An exalted Mercury turns direct in your seventh at 7:40 pm on 28 October. Your ruler is visible for all thirty-one days, though placed in your sixth house. And the Diwali New Moon, in your eighth at 7:06 pm on Friday 29 October, favours a settlement over a start.
All of this is sign-level arithmetic. Sade Sati in particular is read from the natal Moon and not from a sun sign, so which of the nine Meena padas holds your Moon, where Saturn sits in your own chart, and which dasha is running decide how much of this reaches you. For more, read September’s reading, what Meena Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our page on Saturn in Vedic astrology.
Saturn returns to your own sign on the twentieth
Sade Sati is read from the natal Moon, not from a sun sign — which pada holds your Moon, where Saturn sits in your own chart, and which dasha is running decide what this transit actually asks of you.
