Aquarius Rashifal April 2027 (Kumbh Rashi): Your Sign Empties at 3:16 pm on 15 April and Stays Empty
Published 2026-08-21 | Live Pandit Ji
April 2027 begins with two planets standing on Kumbh Rashi. Mercury leaves at 4:13 pm on Monday 5 April and Venus at 3:16 pm on Thursday 15 April. From that Thursday afternoon to the end of the month, no planet stands on your sign at all. An empty first house is not a common thing to be told and it is not a bad thing to be told.
What it means practically is that the second half of April is not about you. Nothing is being done to your body, your temperament or your immediate situation by transit; whatever happens will happen in the houses around you and will reach you indirectly. For a sign that has been carrying Saturn through its own rashi and then into the next — Sade Sati — an empty first house is a rest.
Both departures go to the same address. Mercury and Venus both cross into Pisces, which is your second house, where Saturn already sits — Sade Sati’s final phase. So April moves the weight one house forward: off your own sign, onto your money, your family and your speech. And Saturn itself follows the same direction on 3 June 2027, when it enters Aries and Sade Sati ends.
Sade Sati’s Last Phase, and What Actually Ends
Sade Sati is the roughly seven-and-a-half-year period in which Saturn crosses the twelfth house, the Moon sign, and the second house. Kumbh Rashi is in the third and last leg: Saturn in Pisces, your second house, moving from 22°33′ to 26°18′ through April and crossing from the second pada of Revati into the third.
The second-house phase is the money-and-family phase, and it is usually the least frightening of the three and the most tiring. Its signature is not crisis but constriction: savings that do not build, a family obligation that will not be put down, a job that pays but does not reward, and a habit of speaking less than you used to because it seems easier.
It ends on Thursday 3 June 2027, when Saturn leaves Pisces for Aries — your third house. One honest qualification, because the ephemeris gives it: Saturn returns to Pisces on 20 October 2027 and does not settle permanently in Aries until 23 February 2028. So the relief that begins in June is real but not final, and the last stretch runs to February 2028. Our Sade Sati page sets out the phases in full.
Both of April’s Conjunctions Land on Your Money House
The second house takes an unusual amount of traffic this month. The New Moon forms there at 5:21 am on Wednesday 7 April at 22°42′ of Pisces, under a degree from Saturn. The Sun is exact with Saturn there at 10:48 pm on Wednesday 7 April at 23°26′. And Mercury, debilitated in that house from the 5th, is exact with Saturn at 6:33 pm on Monday 19 April at 24°55′.
Read the two conjunctions as two different problems. The Sun with Saturn in the second is a matter of authority over money — a salary decision, a family financial arrangement, or a father’s involvement in your finances — and it lands late on the 7th, during Kharmas, which is why it feels immovable. Debilitated Mercury with Saturn in the second is the paperwork version: a figure wrong on a form, a tax detail missed, a rate misread. Keep the evening of the 19th free of anything numerical.
Venus arriving exalted in the same house at 3:16 pm on Thursday 15 April is the counterweight, and for a money house it is a good one: exalted Venus in the second is the classic transit for income improving, a family matter being settled generously, and speech becoming pleasant again. It holds to month end, finishing at 18°37′ in Revati pada 1. The second half of April is where the money conversation goes well.
Two Passes of the Moon, at Both Ends of the Month
April 2027 gives only two signs a second visit from the Moon, and Kumbh is one of them. The Moon reaches your sign at 1:32 am on Saturday 3 April and leaves at 11:31 am on Monday 5 April; it returns at 9:53 am on Friday 30 April and is still there when the month closes.
Those are your Chandra days, and they sit at the two ends. The first falls inside Meena Kharmas, so it is a window for concluding rather than beginning. The second falls on the last day of a sixteen-day open stretch — 15 to 30 April, every day open, the longest unbroken run the month could produce — which makes Friday 30 April the single best day in April for a Kumbh Rashi reader to begin something.
It is worth noting what is unusual about that day. The Moon is on your sign, which is otherwise empty; the calendar is open; and your own ruler is two houses away in its final Sade Sati position rather than on top of you. Our business and property page for April 2027 and the travel muhurat page work through the open days in detail.
The Sixth House Clears on 26 April
Cancer is your sixth house — illness, debt, opponents and daily work — and it holds three bodies: exalted Jupiter, Ketu, and Mars debilitated. Jupiter turns direct there at 7:58 am on Tuesday 13 April at 22°45′ and moves only fourteen arc-minutes across the month; it is exact with Ketu on Tuesday 20 April at 22°50′, ten hours after Mercury meets Saturn in your second.
An exalted Jupiter in the sixth house is a mixed but mostly favourable transit: it protects health, it makes a debt manageable, and it tends to defuse opposition rather than defeat it. Mars, debilitated in that house since 10 March, has been the friction — a dispute at work that would not resolve, or a health complaint that responded to nothing. It turns direct at 7:42 pm on Thursday 1 April and leaves at 11:28 am on Monday 26 April.
Where it goes matters: Leo, your seventh house of marriage and partnership, entering Magha. Mars in the seventh raises the temperature of a relationship, and it arrives for the last five days of April. So the sixth house improves on the 26th and the seventh house heats up on the same morning. That is a trade rather than a gain, and it is worth expecting.

Week by Week
Thirty days, Thursday to Friday. Saturn rules Kumbh Rashi, so Saturday is your day of the week: 3, 10, 17 and 24 April — and the 3rd falls inside your first Chandra pass.
1–7 April
Mars turns direct in your sixth house at 7:42 pm on Thursday the 1st. The Moon reaches your own sign at 1:32 am on Saturday the 3rd — your ruler’s weekday — and leaves at 11:31 am on Monday the 5th, and Mercury departs your sign the same afternoon. The New Moon forms in your second house at 5:21 am on Wednesday the 7th. Kharmas is running, so this is a week for closing accounts rather than opening them.
8–14 April
The Sun was exact with your ruler in your money house at 10:48 pm on Wednesday the 7th, the month’s tightest point financially, and this week opens on the recovery from it. Rahu changes nakshatra in your twelfth on the evening of Saturday the 10th. Jupiter turns direct in your sixth at 7:58 am on Tuesday the 13th, and at 3:23 pm on Wednesday the 14th the exalted Sun enters your third house as Kharmas ends.
15–21 April
At 3:16 pm on Thursday the 15th Venus leaves your sign for its exaltation in your second house, and Kumbh Rashi is empty from that moment until 30 April. The same day is the first fully open one. Monday the 19th holds Mercury exact with Saturn in your second at 6:33 pm, with Jupiter exact with Ketu in your sixth following early on Tuesday the 20th — keep the evening free of figures. The Full Moon fills your ninth house at 3:57 am on Wednesday the 21st: a father, a teacher, a journey, or a question of belief comes to full visibility.
22–30 April
Mercury joins the exalted Sun in your third at 8:10 am on Thursday the 22nd, which makes the following week good for writing, negotiating and short journeys, and the two are exact there at 2:51 am on Thursday the 29th. Mars leaves your sixth for your seventh at 11:28 am on Monday the 26th. Then the Moon returns to your sign at 9:53 am on Friday the 30th — the last day of the open stretch, and the best day of the month to begin.
Career and Money for Kumbh Rashi
Your tenth house is Scorpio and it is empty all month; your eleventh, Sagittarius, is empty too. So career and income are not being moved by transit in April — which, in the final phase of Sade Sati, is not the worst news. What moves is the second house, and that is where the month’s financial story sits: constricted in the first fortnight, easier in the second once exalted Venus arrives on the 15th.
The two dates to work around are the 7th and the 19th. On 7 April the Sun is exact with Saturn in your money house — a poor day to ask for a raise or to argue about a family financial arrangement. On 19 April debilitated Mercury is exact with Saturn in the same house — a poor evening for a form, a tax filing or a rate. The window that works is 22 to 30 April: Mercury out of debilitation, exalted Venus in the second, every day open.
The exalted Sun in your third house from the 14th, joined by Mercury on the 22nd, is the practical support: the third house is initiative, communication and short-range effort, and both planets there favour the ordinary work of asking, writing and following up. See our financial remedies page and career remedies.
Family, Partnership and the Ninth-House Full Moon
The second house is family as well as money, and with Saturn there taking both of April’s conjunctions, a family obligation is the month’s quiet weight. It is not a crisis; it is the accumulated cost of being the one who is relied upon. Exalted Venus in that house from the 15th is genuinely helpful here — it is the transit under which an old family friction is resolved by generosity rather than by argument.
The Full Moon forms in your ninth house at 3:57 am on Wednesday 21 April at 6°24′ of Libra, in the fourth pada of Chitra, with the Moon crossing Libra from 4:31 pm on the 20th to 11:16 pm on the 22nd. The ninth is the father, the teacher, long journeys and belief. A Full Moon there is a good week for a pilgrimage or for resolving something with a father, and a poor one for arguing about principles.
Partnership changes on the 26th, when Mars arrives in your seventh house in Magha. For the closing five days a relationship runs hot: more energy, more directness, and more risk of a disagreement escalating faster than it needs to. Mars there is not a bad transit for a marriage that has been dull, and it is a difficult one for a marriage that is already tense. Our marriage-delay page covers the standing observances.
Health
An empty first house from 15 April is the health headline, and it is favourable: nothing is transiting your body. The sixth house of illness holds exalted Jupiter, which protects, and a debilitated Mars, which has been the source of any nagging complaint since March. Mars turns direct on the 1st and leaves the house on the 26th, so the trend through April is steadily better.
Rahu sits in your twelfth house all month and backs into Shravana at 5:53 pm on Saturday 10 April. Rahu in the twelfth disturbs sleep more than anything else — it is the placement for lying awake with a mind that will not stop cataloguing. Shravana softens it. Your second Chandra pass begins at 9:53 am on Friday 30 April, which makes the month’s last day the right one to start a regimen you intend to keep.
Remedies for Kumbh Rashi in April 2027
Four conditions: your sign standing empty from 3:16 pm on the 15th, Sade Sati’s final phase in your second house taking both of April’s exact conjunctions, exalted Venus arriving in that same house on the 15th, and the Moon returning to your sign on the 30th.
- Saturday observance for Shani — 3, 10, 17 and 24 April: the month’s central remedy, because Saturn rules Kumbh Rashi and holds your second house in Sade Sati’s final phase. Sesame oil, black til, a peepal lamp after sundown, and food given to someone who works with their hands. See the Sade Sati page and Saturday fasting.
- Friday worship for Shukra — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 April: five Fridays, and on the last three Venus is exalted in your money house. This is the month’s best lever on income. White flowers, rice, and something sweet given to a woman of the household. See Shukra remedies and Friday fasting.
- Nothing financial on 7 April or the evening of 19 April: both of the month’s exact conjunctions land in your second house. The 7th is the day not to ask; the 19th is the evening not to file.
- Begin on Friday 30 April: the Moon returns to your otherwise empty sign at 9:53 am, on the last of sixteen consecutive open days, and it is a Friday with Venus exalted. Nothing else in April combines as well.
- Rest in the second half: an empty first house is permission. The three weeks from the 15th are for consolidating rather than initiating, and for letting the houses around you do the work.
- Guru worship on the five Thursdays — 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 April: exalted Jupiter in your sixth house turns direct on the 13th, protects your health and eases a debt, and leaves Cancer on 26 June 2027. Turmeric, chana dal, and yellow given to a teacher. See weak-Jupiter remedies.
- Hanuman worship on the Tuesdays — 6, 13, 20 and 27 April: Mars leaves its debilitation on the 26th and enters your seventh house in Magha, which raises the temperature of a relationship for the closing five days. The 27th is the Tuesday that follows it. See Mangal remedies and Tuesday fasting.
- Rahu observance around 10 April: Rahu shifts into Shravana in your twelfth house that evening, which is the sleep house. Urad dal, a dark cloth given away, and coconut offered at flowing water. See our Rahu-Ketu page.
In Summary
For Kumbh Rashi, April 2027 is the month your own sign empties. Mercury leaves at 4:13 pm on Monday 5 April and Venus at 3:16 pm on Thursday 15 April, and from that afternoon no planet stands on Kumbh at all for the rest of the month. Read it as a rest rather than as an absence: nothing is being done to you directly, and after the final phase of Sade Sati that is worth having.
Both departures move into your second house, where Saturn already sits — and that house takes everything sharp this month. The New Moon forms there at 5:21 am on Wednesday the 7th under a degree from Saturn; the Sun is exact with Saturn at 10:48 pm on Wednesday 7 April; and debilitated Mercury is exact with Saturn at 6:33 pm on Monday 19 April. Money, family and speech are where April presses, and those two instants are the two to avoid transacting on.
The repair is exalted Venus in that same second house from the 15th to month end — the best income and family transit available this year — with three of April’s five Fridays carrying it. Combine that with Mercury leaving its debilitation at 8:10 am on Thursday the 22nd and the working window is 22 to 30 April, all of it open.
Two closing dates. The Moon returns to your empty sign at 9:53 am on Friday 30 April, on the last of sixteen consecutive open days — the best single day April gives you. And Saturn leaves your second house on Thursday 3 June 2027, which ends Sade Sati, with the honest qualification that Saturn comes back to Pisces on 20 October 2027 and only settles in Aries on 23 February 2028. All of this is sign-level; which of the nine Aquarius padas holds your natal Moon, and where Saturn sits in your own chart, decide how much of it you feel. For more, read March’s reading, what Kumbh Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our Shani dosh page.
Sade Sati’s exit is a chart-level question, not a sign-level one
Whether June ends it for you or February 2028 does depends on your natal Moon’s degree in Kumbh — and on which dasha the transit is running through.
