Aquarius Rashifal October 2027 (Kumbha Rashi): Sade Sati’s Last Leg Reopens on the Twentieth as Retrograde Saturn Reverses Into Your Second House

One event defines October 2027 for Kumbha Rashi, and it is the sort most monthly readings get backwards. On 20 October retrograde Saturn crosses out of Aries and back into Pisces. Pisces is your second house — and the second house from the Moon sign is the closing leg of Sade Sati. Your ruler had already finished that run and moved on into your third. Because it is retrograde, it comes back.

That is the honest headline, and it needs the honest qualification with it. The same crossing ends Saturn’s debilitation, because Aries is the sign of its fall and Pisces is not. So what returns to your second house is a stronger Saturn than the one that left it — which is better for the work it does and heavier for the house it does it in. The month is not a bad one. It is a serious one.

Everything else in your October is unusually good. Mars reaches Scorpio, its own sign and your tenth house of career, at 1:21 am on Friday 8 October and holds it for the remaining twenty-three days and twenty-two hours. Jupiter sits in your seventh house for all thirty-one days, aspecting your own sign from directly across. And the New Moon of Diwali forms in your ninth house at 7:06 pm on Friday 29 October.

What Actually Reopens on the Twentieth

Sade Sati is Saturn’s passage through three signs: the twelfth from your natal Moon, then the Moon sign itself, then the second. For Kumbha those are Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Saturn worked through all three, left Pisces for Aries, and the run closed. On the 20th it reverses across that same boundary, and the third leg — the last and mildest of the three — resumes.

A returning leg is not the same as a first pass, and it should not be read as one. The second-house leg is the tail of Sade Sati, not its peak; the peak was Saturn on your own sign, and that is finished. What the second house governs is money already earned, speech, food, the family you sit down to eat with, and the teeth and eyes. The Full Moon Lights That House First

Five days before Saturn arrives, the Full Moon forms in the same place. It is exact at 7:17 pm on Friday 15 October, at 27°42′ of Pisces, in Revati pada 4 — your second house — and Saturn reverses into that identical pada on the 20th. Sharad Purnima falls on Thursday 14 October, and its tithi runs out at that Full Moon instant.

The sequence is worth using rather than fearing. A Full Moon shows a house; Saturn then organises it. Whatever the lunation of the 15th makes obvious about your savings, your household budget or something you have been avoiding saying — that is the item Saturn will be working on for the months after the 20th. Deal with it in the five days between, while the house is lit and not yet occupied.

The Moon is on Pisces from 2:31 pm on Wednesday 13 October to 11:29 pm on Friday 15 October, fifty-six hours fifty-eight minutes, so the lunation happens fifty-two hours forty-six minutes into that stay, with four hours twelve minutes to spare before the Moon leaves your second house.

A Dignified Mars in Your Career House for Twenty-Three Days

This is the month’s counterweight and it is a strong one. Mars enters Scorpio, a sign it owns, at 1:21 am on Friday 8 October and stays in your tenth house until the end of the month — twenty-three days, twenty-two hours and thirty-nine minutes, covering twenty-two degrees and eight minutes of ground, from 25°05′ of Vishakha to 17°09′ of Jyeshtha. That is the second-largest arc any planet covers in October.

A planet in its own sign in the tenth house is one of the plainest career supports transit astrology offers, and Mars in particular gives the tenth house what the tenth house wants: initiative, stamina, and a willingness to take the difficult item first. It crosses into Anuradha at 6:50 pm on Tuesday 12 October and into Jyeshtha at 7:57 am on Sunday 31 October.

Three Consecutive Signs Hold October’s Three Longest Moon Windows

The Moon holds Kumbha from 2:55 am on Monday 11 October to 2:31 pm on Wednesday 13 October — fifty-nine hours thirty-six minutes. That is the third-longest of October’s twelve windows, and the three longest fall on three signs in a row: Sagittarius at fifty-nine hours forty-four minutes, Capricorn at sixty hours fifty-seven, and yours closing the run.

That is not a coincidence, and it is checkable. The Moon’s orbit is an ellipse, so it moves slowest near apogee, and a slower Moon needs longer to clear thirty degrees. In October 2027 that slow arc lies across Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius, which is why the three windows come one after another rather than scattered through the month.

The New Moon forms in your ninth house at 7:06 pm on Friday 29 October, at 11°42′ of Libra in Swati pada 2, and Diwali falls on Friday 29 October, with the amavasya tithi ending at that same instant. A ninth-house lunation on Lakshmi Puja evening is the right moment to ask an elder or a teacher for the thing you have been working out alone.

The debilitated Sun in that house from the 18th is the qualification: the authority figure is not at their strongest this month, so take the advice and not the instruction. Meanwhile an exalted Mercury reverses into Virgo, your eighth house, at 8:16 am on Thursday 21 October and turns direct there at 7:40 pm on Thursday 28 October — excellent for research, for insurance and inheritance paperwork, and for finding out what you were not told.
