Aquarius Rashifal September 2027 (Kumbha Rashi): The Full Moon Forms on Your Sign With Two Hours Forty Minutes Left in Its Stay

Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji

September’s Full Moon forms on your own sign. The Moon arrives on Kumbha Rashi at 7:33 pm on Monday 13 September and leaves at 7:13 am on Thursday 16 September — fifty-nine hours forty minutes. The Full Moon forms on your own sign at 4:33 am on Thursday the 16th, at 28°36′, in Purva Bhadrapada pada 3.

Do the arithmetic and the placement becomes remarkable. The lunation falls exactly fifty-seven hours into that stay, with two hours forty minutes left before the Moon quits the sign. A Full Moon on the rashi at 28°36′ is a Full Moon in the sign’s final degrees — nearly out the door. No other sign gets a lunation this close to its own boundary this month.

One more fact sits on top of it. Pitru Paksha begins on Wednesday 15 September, and the opening tithi of that fortnight ends at the same instant the Moon becomes full — 4:33 am. So the ancestral fortnight and the Full Moon on your sign share a boundary. Meanwhile Saturn, which rules Kumbha, spends all thirty days debilitated and retrograde — but in the one kind of house where that matters least.

A Lunation in Your Sign’s Last Degrees

A Full Moon on the rashi is the month’s clearest mirror for the sign that owns it. Everything the Moon governs — mood, appetite, the state of the mind, what the body has been quietly carrying — is at maximum illumination on your own sign rather than in some other house of your chart. What you feel on the 16th is not a signal about a situation. It is a reading of you.

The degree matters as much as the sign. At 28°36′ the Moon is 1°24′ from leaving Kumbha, and it sits in Purva Bhadrapada pada 3 — the last of the three nakshatras your sign contains. The classical sense of a planet in a sign’s final degrees is of something concluding rather than beginning. Read the 16th as the end of a chapter, not the start of one.

Practically: the 14th and the 15th, both inside the window and before the lunation, are the two days to keep clear. The Moon is on your sign, waxing towards full, in the strongest personal stretch of your month. Rest, decide, and do not schedule anything that requires you to be agreeable. See our page on the Moon and how to strengthen a weak Moon.

Your Ruler Is Weak, but Well Placed

Saturn spends every one of September’s thirty days in Aries, the sign of its debilitation, retrograde throughout, drifting from 3°13′ back to 1°30′ of Ashwini. On any other reading that would be the month’s bad news. For Kumbha it is softened by house: Aries is your third house, and the third is one of the three upachaya houses — the third, sixth and eleventh — where a malefic does its least damage and often produces results.

So the honest reading is this: your ruler has almost no dignity this month, but it is standing in the friendliest room available to it. What that looks like day to day is effort that grinds and works: correspondence that takes three attempts, a sibling matter that returns, short journeys that get rescheduled, and courage that has to be manufactured rather than felt. None of it is dangerous. All of it is slow.

There is a second, quieter fact. Kumbha’s traditional co-lord is Rahu, and Rahu spends the month in Capricorn, your twelfth house, drifting from 15°45′ to 14°09′ of Shravana. Both of your sign’s lords are therefore either weak or hidden in September — which is precisely why the Full Moon on your rashi is the month’s most useful instrument. See our Shani remedies and Saturday fasting pages.

Three Planets Facing You Across the Seventh

Leo is your seventh house, and when September opens it holds three planets: the Sun in its own sign, Venus, and Jupiter. The last two are invisible — too close to the Sun to be seen — which is the state the texts call asta or combustion. So your partnership house is crowded and, at first, mostly unreadable.

It thins out on schedule. Venus leaves at 2:36 pm on Thursday 9 September — and arrives in your eighth house debilitated. Jupiter’s combustion ends on 15 September, so the largest benefic in the sky becomes visible in your seventh house for the back half of the month. The Sun leaves at 2:04 pm on Friday 17 September with Kanya Sankranti, leaving Jupiter alone there.

A visible Jupiter alone in the seventh house from the 17th is the best partnership transit of the month for any sign, and it belongs to you. Anything to be settled with a spouse, a business partner or a counterparty is better done in the second fortnight than the first. See our Guru remedies and Thursday fasting pages.

An Exalted Mercury in Your Eighth, and a New Moon There

Mercury is exalted in Virgo, which is your eighth house, from the first day until 6:15 pm on Tuesday 21 September — twenty days and eighteen hours of the sharpest analytical planet at full strength in the house of joint finances, insurance, inheritance, taxes and research. It enters Hasta, its own nakshatra, at 12:12 pm on Monday 6 September.

That is an unusually good instrument for an unusually opaque house. Exalted Mercury in the eighth is the transit under which people finally read the fine print, find the error in the statement, or understand a clause that has been costing them money. Use it for exactly that, and use the 6th to the 16th, when it is also in its own nakshatra.

The eighth house then takes a debilitated Venus from the 9th, the Sun from the 17th, and finally the month’s New Moon. The New Moon forms in your eighth house at 8:06 am on Thursday 30 September at 12°30′ of Virgo, in Hasta pada 1 — the instant that closes Pitru Paksha and opens Sharad Navratri. An eighth-house New Moon is a good place to begin something private and a poor place to begin something public.

The Month’s Fixed Points

  • Wednesday 1 September — the Sun, Venus and Jupiter in your seventh house, the last two invisible; Mercury exalted at 1°29′ of Uttara Phalguni in your eighth; Saturn debilitated and retrograde in your third, and retrograde every day this month; Rahu in your twelfth, Ketu in your sixth.
  • Friday 3 September, 4:44 pmMars enters Swati in your ninth house. Hartalika Teej falls on Friday 3 September.
  • Saturday 4 September — Ganesh Chaturthi. That day’s panchang.
  • Monday 6 September, 12:12 pm — Mercury enters Hasta, its own nakshatra, still exalted, in your eighth house; Venus enters Uttara Phalguni at 10:07 pm in your seventh.
  • Thursday 9 September, 2:36 pm — Venus leaves your seventh house for your eighth and is debilitated there for the rest of the month.
  • Monday 13 September, 7:33 pm — the Moon arrives on Kumbha Rashi for fifty-nine hours forty minutes. Panchang for the day.
  • Tuesday 14 September, 3:56 am — the Sun enters Uttara Phalguni in your seventh house. Anant Chaturdashi falls on Tuesday 14 September.
  • Wednesday 15 September — Guru asta ends: Jupiter becomes visible in your seventh house after a month behind the Sun. Pitru Paksha begins on Wednesday 15 September, and its opening tithi runs to 4:33 am the next morning.
  • Thursday 16 September, 3:40 am — Mercury enters Chitra in your eighth house, still exalted. The Full Moon forms on your own sign at 4:33 am at 28°36′, in Purva Bhadrapada pada 3, and the Moon leaves your sign at 7:13 am. Panchang for the day.
  • Friday 17 September, 2:04 pm — Kanya Sankranti: the Sun leaves your seventh house for your eighth, leaving a visible Jupiter alone in the seventh. Shukra asta ends the same day, so Venus becomes visible — debilitated. Venus enters Hasta at 3:57 pm.
  • Tuesday 21 September, 6:15 pm — Mercury leaves your eighth house for your ninth, joining Mars, and loses its exaltation.
  • Thursday 23 September, 2:51 pm — Mars enters Vishakha in your ninth house.
  • Monday 27 September, 7:29 pm — the Sun enters Hasta in your eighth house.
  • Tuesday 28 September, 9:34 am — Venus enters Chitra in your eighth house; Mercury enters Swati at 5:22 pm in your ninth.
  • Thursday 30 September, 8:06 am — the New Moon forms in your eighth house at 12°30′ of Virgo, in Hasta pada 1. Sarva Pitru Amavasya falls on Thursday 30 September. Sharad Navratri begins on Thursday 30 September. Panchang for the day.

Week by Week

Thirty days running Wednesday to Thursday. Five Wednesdays and five Thursdays; four each of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Saturday is your ruler’s day — the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th — with Saturn debilitated and retrograde on every one, though standing in an upachaya house each time.

1–7 September

Three planets in your partnership house, two of them invisible, so partnership matters are in motion and not yet legible. Mercury is exalted in your eighth from the first day and enters its own nakshatra Hasta at 12:12 pm on Monday the 6th — read the contract this week. Mars enters Swati in your ninth at 4:44 pm on Friday the 3rd. Hartalika Teej falls on Friday 3 September. Ganesh Chaturthi falls on Saturday 4 September.

8–14 September

Venus leaves your seventh house at 2:36 pm on Thursday the 9th and lands debilitated in your eighth. The Moon arrives on Kumbha at 7:33 pm on Monday the 13th; the Sun enters Uttara Phalguni at 3:56 am on Tuesday the 14th. Anant Chaturdashi falls on Tuesday 14 September. From the evening of the 13th you are inside your own Moon window — the 14th is the day to make a decision about yourself.

15–21 September

The month’s centre. Jupiter becomes visible in your seventh house on Wednesday the 15th; Mercury enters Chitra at 3:40 am on Thursday the 16th; the Full Moon forms on your own sign at 4:33 am on Thursday the 16th and the Moon leaves at 7:13 am; Kanya Sankranti takes the Sun out of your seventh at 2:04 pm on Friday the 17th; Mercury’s exaltation ends at 6:15 pm on Tuesday the 21st. Pitru Paksha begins on Wednesday 15 September. Keep the 16th light.

22–28 September

Mercury joins Mars in your ninth house of dharma, law and long journeys — fast and combative, useful for pressing a case, poor for diplomacy. Mars enters Vishakha at 2:51 pm on Thursday the 23rd; the Sun enters Hasta at 7:29 pm on Monday the 27th; Venus enters Chitra at 9:34 am and Mercury enters Swati at 5:22 pm on Tuesday the 28th. A visible Jupiter now sits alone in your seventh — settle the partnership question in this week.

29–30 September

The New Moon forms in your eighth house at 8:06 am on Thursday the 30th at 12°30′ of Virgo, in Hasta pada 1 — the same instant that closes the ancestral fortnight and opens Sharad Navratri. Sarva Pitru Amavasya falls on Thursday 30 September. Begin the private thing, not the public one: an eighth-house New Moon suits research, accounts and health decisions.

Career and Money for Kumbha Rashi

Your tenth house is Scorpio and it stands empty all thirty days, so career this month is not driven from the career house at all. It is driven from the seventh — clients, counterparties, partners — where three planets stand at the open and a visible Jupiter stands alone from the 17th. Work through other people in September. See our career remedies page.

Money is the eighth-house story. Exalted Mercury there until 6:15 pm on 21 September is the best analytical window of the month for joint accounts, tax, insurance, a loan restructure or a claim; the New Moon there on the 30th is a good day to begin the process rather than to conclude it. The debilitated Venus arriving on the 9th argues against any large discretionary purchase before October.

Gains run through Sagittarius, your eleventh house, empty this month and ruled by that Jupiter — invisible until the 15th and visible after. So income improves in tone rather than in amount, and it improves in the second fortnight. Rahu in your twelfth house all month is the standing caution: expenditure that appears from nowhere. See our financial remedies page.

Home, Family and Partnership

Partnership is the month’s subject and it improves as the month goes on. Three planets in your seventh house at the open, two of them unreadable; a visible Jupiter there from the 15th; and Jupiter alone in that house from the 17th. If a partnership conversation has been waiting since August, wait one more fortnight and have it after the 17th. The marriage calendar itself is shut: Chaturmas runs through September, and the season reopens only at Devuthani Ekadashi in November. See the marriage muhurat page for September 2027 and our marriage delay page.

Home is quiet. Taurus, your fourth house, is empty for all thirty days and its lord is the debilitated Venus — which argues for maintenance rather than change. If a house-entry or property decision cannot wait, the griha pravesh page for September 2027 and the business and property page set out the formal dates.

Siblings and short journeys carry the friction, because your ruler is retrograde in the third house on every day of the month. A message that has to be sent three times, a trip that moves twice, a brother or sister who returns to an old argument — these are the month’s small recurring costs, and the upachaya placement means they cost effort rather than damage. Children and study, through Gemini in your fifth house, are ruled by that exalted Mercury: a genuinely good month for a student in the family.

Health

Cancer is your sixth house of illness and it holds Ketu all month, at 15°45′ falling to 14°09′ of Pushya. Ketu in the sixth is classically a protective placement — it tends to dissolve enemies and disputes — but it also produces complaints that resist diagnosis. With September holding no exact conjunctions at all, there is no sharp trigger anywhere in the month.

The one date to respect is your own: the Full Moon on your sign at 4:33 am on Thursday 16 September. A lunation on the rashi raises sensitivity, disturbs sleep and amplifies whatever the body has been carrying quietly. Kumbha’s standing weak points are the calves, ankles and circulation, all Saturn’s, and Saturn is at its weakest all month. Walk, keep the ankles warm, and keep the 15th and 16th unhurried.

Remedies for Kumbha Rashi in September 2027

Four conditions define the month: a Full Moon on your own sign at 4:33 am on 16 September, fifty-seven hours into a fifty-nine-hour-forty-minute stay and two hours forty minutes before it ends; a debilitated, retrograde ruler in your third house — weak but well placed — on all thirty days; three planets in your seventh house resolving into a visible Jupiter alone there from the 17th; and an exalted Mercury in your eighth until 6:15 pm on 21 September.

  • Keep the 15th and 16th clear: the Moon is on your sign, waxing to full, and the lunation lands at 4:33 am on the 16th with only two hours forty minutes of the stay left. No confrontation, no travel, no signing.
  • Read the fine print between 6 and 16 September: Mercury exalted, in its own nakshatra Hasta, in your eighth house. Statements, policies, tax positions, loan clauses. See Budh remedies and Wednesday fasting.
  • Hold the partnership conversation after 17 September: that is the day the Sun leaves your seventh house and a newly visible Jupiter is left alone there — the best partnership transit of the month, and it is yours.
  • Shani observance on the four Saturdays — 4, 11, 18 and 25 September: your ruler is debilitated and retrograde on all four. Sesame oil, black til, mustard oil to a peepal after sundown, and service to someone older. See Shani remedies and Shani dosh.
  • Send the message twice and expect to send it three times: a retrograde Saturn in the third house makes communication and short journeys revisit themselves. Build the repetition into the plan rather than resenting it.
  • Guard the twelfth house: Rahu sits there all month, barely moving. Review subscriptions, standing instructions and anything that leaves the account without being noticed. See our Rahu-Ketu remedies page.
  • Tarpan through Pitru Paksha, 15 to 30 September: the fortnight opens on the day your ruler’s rival benefic becomes visible and its first tithi ends at the moment the Moon fills on your sign. See our pitra dosh page.

In Summary

For Kumbha Rashi, September 2027 has one datum no other sign can claim. The Moon arrives on your sign at 7:33 pm on Monday 13 September and leaves at 7:13 am on Thursday 16 September — fifty-nine hours forty minutes — and the Full Moon forms on your own sign at 4:33 am on Thursday the 16th, at 28°36′ in Purva Bhadrapada pada 3. That is exactly fifty-seven hours into the stay, with two hours forty minutes to spare. A lunation in your sign’s last degrees reads as a conclusion, not a beginning.

Saturn, which rules your sign, spends all thirty days debilitated and retrograde — but in your third house, an upachaya house, where a malefic does its least harm. The month’s difficulty is therefore friction rather than damage: repeated messages, rescheduled journeys, a sibling matter returning. Your other lord, Rahu, sits in the twelfth all month, so both of Kumbha’s rulers are compromised at once.

Against that, two genuinely favourable structures. Your seventh house holds three planets at the open, and by 17 September it holds a newly visible Jupiter alone — the best partnership transit the month contains. And Mercury sits exalted in your eighth house until 6:15 pm on 21 September, with the closing New Moon of the 30th forming there at the instant Navratri begins. All of this is sign-level. Which of the nine Kumbha padas holds your natal Moon, where Saturn and Jupiter sit in your own chart, and which dasha is running decide how much of it reaches you. For more, read August’s reading, what Kumbha Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our page on Purva Bhadrapada nakshatra.

A Full Moon on your own sign, in its last degrees

Whether a lunation at 28°36′ of Kumbha lands on something in your chart depends on which of your padas holds the natal Moon, where Saturn and Jupiter sit, and which dasha is running — a sign-level reading cannot settle that.
