Aries Rashifal September 2027 (Mesha Rashi): Saturn Sits Debilitated on Your Sign for Thirty Days, and Your Ruler Stares Back From the Seventh
Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji
September 2027 has no exact conjunctions in it. Not one, anywhere in the sky. August had eight, six of them in a single sign. September has none — which for Mesha Rashi means the month has nothing to distract from the one configuration that actually matters: Saturn, debilitated and retrograde, sitting on your own sign for all thirty days, with Mars, your ruler, holding the seventh house directly opposite it.
Saturn is at 3°13′ of Ashwini when the month opens and 1°30′ when it closes: it loses one degree forty-three minutes over thirty days, moving backwards the whole time. Aries is the sign of Saturn’s debilitation, so this is the weakest condition the planet has, in the sign you cannot avoid. And Saturn transiting the janma rashi is the middle phase of Sade Sati — the part that is usually described as the heaviest.
Opposite it, Mars covers twenty degrees of Libra: 4°54′ of Chitra to 25°05′ of Vishakha, through three nakshatras, alone in the sign for the first twenty-one days. Mars aspects the first house from the seventh; Saturn aspects the seventh from the first. Your ruler and the slowest malefic in the sky look straight at each other across your chart for the entire month, and neither is comfortable.
A Debilitated Retrograde Saturn on the Rashi
Take the three conditions separately, because they compound rather than repeat. Debilitated means Saturn is in the sign where it functions worst. Retrograde means it is going over ground it has already covered. On the rashi means the ground it is going over is you — your body, your name, your immediate circumstances, the first house.
In practice this reads as slowness that feels personal. Effort produces less than it should; the delay is in you rather than in the world; energy that Mesha normally has in surplus has to be rationed. It is also the classic transit for a second attempt: something you tried earlier in the year and set aside comes back, and this time it needs the patience that Aries is worst at. One degree forty-three minutes of retrograde motion in thirty days is how little ground the month covers.
The Moon crosses that Saturn between 4:47 pm on Saturday 18 September and 12:12 am on Tuesday 21 September — fifty-five hours twenty-five minutes with the Moon on Mesha Rashi, passing directly over a debilitated retrograde Saturn. That is simultaneously the most sensitive stretch of the month and the one that is unambiguously yours. Keep it for rest and for the difficult conversation you have already prepared, not for the one you improvise. See our Shani remedies, Saturday fasting and Shani dosh pages.
Your Ruler Alone in the Seventh, Crossing Three Nakshatras
Mars holds Libra — your seventh house of marriage, partnership and open opposition — for all thirty days, and it is the only planet there until the 21st. It enters Swati at 4:44 pm on Friday 3 September and Vishakha at 2:51 pm on Thursday 23 September, covering just over twenty degrees in the month.
Mars in the seventh is the placement the classical texts treat with most caution for a Mesha native, because it is your own lord standing in the house of the other person. The energy that belongs to you shows up as coming from them: impatience arrives in the partner’s voice, the argument starts on their side, the pressure appears external. Libra is Venus’s sign and the least martial place for Mars to sit, which sharpens it further.
Mercury joins it at 6:15 pm on Tuesday 21 September, leaving its own exaltation in Virgo to do so. That is a real improvement: Mercury in the seventh brings words to a house that has spent three weeks with only Mars in it. Between the 21st and the 30th is the best stretch of the month for negotiating anything — and the worst for assuming you already know what the other side wants.
Your Fifth House Empties Out, and Jupiter Comes Back Into View
September opens with three planets in Leo — your fifth house of children, creativity, romance and study. The Sun is there in its own sign, Venus is there, and Jupiter is there for the whole month. Then it drains: Venus leaves at 2:36 pm on Thursday 9 September and the Sun at 2:04 pm on Friday 17 September, both into your sixth house. By the 17th only Jupiter remains.
The important date inside that is 15 September, when Guru asta ends and Jupiter becomes visible again after a month behind the Sun. Jupiter has been combust since 16 August; it emerges in your fifth house, running 13°33′ to 19°58′ of Purva Phalguni across the month. A visible Jupiter in the fifth house is the single best thing September gives Mesha, and it is the counterweight to everything Saturn is doing in the first.
Venus is the complication. It moves into Virgo — the sign of its debilitation — at 2:36 pm on Thursday 9 September, and comes out of its own long combustion on 17 September, so it spends the rest of the month visible and weak in your sixth house. Venus debilitated in the sixth is not a disaster; it is a warning against buying comfort. Money spent on pleasure in the second half of September will not deliver what it promises.
Two Lunations, Two Very Different Houses
The Full Moon forms at 4:33 am on Thursday 16 September at 28°36′ of Aquarius, in Purva Bhadrapada pada 3 — your eleventh house of gains, networks and elder siblings. It happens with the Moon two hours forty minutes from the end of its stay in Aquarius, and Pitru Paksha begins the day before it. An eleventh-house Full Moon is the month’s clean positive: a return arriving through a group rather than through your own effort.
The New Moon forms at 8:06 am on Thursday 30 September at 12°30′ of Virgo, in Hasta pada 1 — your sixth house of work, health and obligation. That instant is also where Sarva Pitru Amavasya ends and Sharad Navratri begins, so the lunation, the close of the ancestral fortnight and the opening of the nine nights are one moment on the clock rather than three.
A New Moon in the sixth house is a good start line, not a warning: a regimen, a repayment, a treatment, a complaint properly filed. Note also that the fortnight between the two lunations — from 4:33 am on the 16th to 8:06 am on the 30th, fourteen days and three and a half hours — is exactly Pitru Paksha. The waning half of the month is the ancestral half, and that is arithmetic rather than convention.
The Month’s Fixed Points
- Wednesday 1 September — Saturn stands at 3°13′ of Ashwini on your sign, debilitated and retrograde, and stays retrograde every day of the month.
- Thursday 2 September, 1:12 am — the Moon leaves your fifth house sign for your sixth.

- Wednesday 15 September — Guru asta ends: Jupiter becomes visible again in your fifth house after a month behind the Sun. Pitru Paksha begins on Wednesday 15 September.
- Thursday 16 September, 4:33 am — the Full Moon forms in your eleventh house at 28°36′ of Aquarius, in Purva Bhadrapada pada 3, and the Moon leaves that sign at 7:13 am. Panchang for the day.

Week by Week
Thirty days running Wednesday to Thursday. Five Wednesdays and five Thursdays; only four each of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Mars rules Tuesday and rules your sign, so your own weekday is one of the short ones — the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th — and Saturn rules Saturday, which is also short: the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th.
1–7 September
A quiet opening with three planets still in your fifth house. Mars enters Swati in your seventh at 4:44 pm on Friday the 3rd, and Mercury enters Hasta in your sixth at 12:12 pm on Monday the 6th. Hartalika Teej falls on Friday 3 September. Ganesh Chaturthi falls on Saturday 4 September. Use this week for the creative or child-related thing while the fifth house is still full; it will not be after the 17th.
8–14 September
Venus crosses into your sixth house and into debilitation at 2:36 pm on Thursday the 9th, and the Sun enters Uttara Phalguni at 3:56 am on Tuesday the 14th. Anant Chaturdashi falls on Tuesday 14 September. This is the week to postpone the discretionary purchase and to get the medical or work-related task started instead — a debilitated Venus entering the sixth house rewards duty and punishes indulgence.
15–21 September
The pivot of the month, and it runs in three steps. Jupiter comes out of combustion in your fifth house on Wednesday the 15th; the Full Moon forms in your eleventh at 4:33 am on Thursday the 16th; and Kanya Sankranti moves the Sun into your sixth house at 2:04 pm on Friday the 17th, the same day Venus emerges from its own long combustion. Pitru Paksha begins on Wednesday 15 September. Then the Moon arrives on your sign at 4:47 pm on Saturday the 18th and stays until 12:12 am on Tuesday the 21st, crossing your debilitated Saturn. Ask for what you want on the 16th; rest on the 19th and 20th.
22–28 September
The best week for partnership. Mercury reached your seventh house at 6:15 pm on Tuesday the 21st and Mars enters Vishakha there at 2:51 pm on Thursday the 23rd. Words arrive in a house that had only heat in it for three weeks. The Sun enters Hasta at 7:29 pm on Monday the 27th and Venus enters Chitra at 9:34 am on Tuesday the 28th. Negotiate now; the seventh house will not be this articulate again in 2027.
29–30 September
Two days that belong to the sixth house. The New Moon forms there at 8:06 am on Thursday the 30th at 12°30′ of Virgo, in Hasta pada 1, and that same instant closes Pitru Paksha and opens Sharad Navratri. Sarva Pitru Amavasya falls on Thursday 30 September. Begin the routine, the treatment or the repayment schedule here rather than waiting for October.
Career and Money for Mesha Rashi
Career is a Rahu month for Mesha. Your tenth house is Capricorn, and Rahu holds it for the whole month, moving backwards from 15°45′ to 14°09′ of Shravana. Rahu in the tenth is visibility without consolidation: you get noticed, opportunities arrive from unexpected directions, and none of it settles into a stable position while Saturn is retrograde on your sign. Take the visibility; do not mistake it for security. See our career remedies page.
Money is stable and unspectacular. Your second house is Taurus, empty, ruled by a Venus that goes debilitated on the 9th; your eleventh house of gains takes the Full Moon on the 16th, which is the month’s one clear inflow signal. The sixth house, which is where obligation lives, fills up instead — Mercury exalted there until the 21st, Venus from the 9th, the Sun from the 17th, and a New Moon there on the 30th. Read that as expenditure on duties rather than losses.
An exalted Mercury in the sixth house for the first twenty-one days is genuinely useful and easy to waste. It is the best transit of the month for detail work: the audit, the paperwork, the contract read properly, the accounts reconciled. It leaves for your seventh house at 6:15 pm on 21 September, so the window closes three weeks in. See our financial remedies page.
Home, Family and Partnership
Partnership is the theme and the difficulty. Mars sits in your seventh house for all thirty days, opposite a debilitated retrograde Saturn on your own sign, and the two aspect each other across that axis for the entire month. The honest reading is friction that neither side owns: you experience the other person as impatient, and they experience you as immovable, and both readings are transits rather than character. Mercury’s arrival on the 21st is what makes the conversation possible.
The wedding calendar remains shut, and for a reason that is not about your chart: Chaturmas runs through September, so the formal season does not reopen until Devuthani Ekadashi in November. Both benefics do come out of combustion mid-month — Jupiter on the 15th and Venus on the 17th — which matters for engagements, introductions and family discussions even though it does not open a muhurat. The marriage muhurat page for September 2027 sets out the arithmetic.
Home has Ketu in it all month — Cancer is your fourth house, and Ketu runs backwards from 15°45′ to 14°09′ of Pushya there. Ketu in the fourth is detachment from the place you live: the house feels less like home than it should, and the impulse to move or to strip things back is strong. With Saturn retrograde on your sign, act on that impulse in October rather than September. The griha pravesh page for September 2027 explains why the formal dates wait regardless.
Health
This is the section that matters most this month, because a debilitated retrograde Saturn on the first house is a physical transit before it is anything else. The first house is the body itself. Expect less stamina than you are used to, slower recovery, and the classical Saturn complaints — joints, knees, teeth, and a stiffness that is worse in the morning. Mesha’s own weak points are the head and the eyes, and Mars in the seventh adds to blood pressure and to the tendency to push through symptoms.
Do the opposite of the Mesha instinct: reduce load rather than increase it. The New Moon in your sixth house at 8:06 am on 30 September is the right start line for a treatment or a regimen, and the exalted Mercury in that house until the 21st is the right period for getting a proper diagnosis rather than guessing. Your Chandra window — 4:47 pm on 18 September to 12:12 am on 21 September, fifty-five hours twenty-five minutes — is the month’s best stretch for rest, and brahma muhurta on the 19th and 20th are its two best mornings.
Remedies for Mesha Rashi in September 2027
Four conditions define the month: Saturn debilitated and retrograde on your own sign for all thirty days, losing one degree forty-three minutes; Mars, your ruler, alone in your seventh house across three nakshatras, facing that Saturn; Jupiter emerging from combustion in your fifth house on the 15th and Venus emerging into debilitation in your sixth on the 17th; and two lunations that bracket Pitru Paksha exactly, in your eleventh house on the 16th and your sixth on the 30th.
- Shani observance on the four Saturdays — 4, 11, 18 and 25 September: Saturn is debilitated and retrograde on your rashi, the middle phase of Sade Sati. Sesame oil, black til, mustard oil to a peepal after sundown, and service to someone older than you. See Shani remedies, Saturday fasting and the Sade Sati page.
- Mangal practice on the four Tuesdays — 7, 14, 21 and 28 September: your ruler spends the month in the seventh house, in Venus’s sign, facing Saturn. Hanuman Chalisa, red lentils, and a deliberate refusal to answer the first provocation. See Mangal remedies, Tuesday fasting and the Mangal dosh page.
- Use the exalted Mercury before the 21st: Mercury is exalted in your sixth house until 6:15 pm on 21 September. That is the month’s window for the diagnosis, the audit and the contract read line by line. After it, Mercury is in your seventh and works for the conversation instead.
- Reduce load rather than adding to it: a debilitated retrograde Saturn in the first house is a transit about capacity. Fewer commitments completed properly will produce more in September than the usual Mesha approach of taking on everything.
- Take the eleventh-house Full Moon on the 16th seriously: a lunation in the house of gains, with the month otherwise offering no exact conjunctions at all, is September’s one uncomplicated opening. It usually arrives through a group or a near-stranger.
- Guru practice on the five Thursdays — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 September: your fifth-house Jupiter becomes visible again on the 15th, so it is combust on the first two and clear on the last three. Chana dal, turmeric, yellow cloth, and something taught to someone younger. See Guru remedies and Thursday fasting.
- Do not buy comfort after the 9th: Venus is debilitated in your sixth house from 2:36 pm on 9 September to the end of the month. Spending intended to make you feel better will not.
In Summary
For Mesha Rashi, September 2027 is a month with one dominant fact and no distractions. Saturn is debilitated and retrograde on your own sign for all thirty days, moving from 3°13′ to 1°30′ of Ashwini — the middle phase of Sade Sati, in the sign where Saturn is weakest. Opposite it, Mars, your ruler, holds your seventh house alone for three weeks and covers twenty degrees through Chitra, Swati and Vishakha. The two aspect each other across your first and seventh houses for the entire month. And the sky offers no exact conjunctions at all, after eight in August.
The relief comes mid-month and comes twice. Jupiter emerges from a month of combustion in your fifth house on 15 September, and Venus emerges from its own on the 17th — though Venus does so in Virgo, the sign of its debilitation, in your sixth house. Kanya Sankranti moves the Sun into that sixth house at 2:04 pm on Friday 17 September, and Mercury, exalted there until 6:15 pm on 21 September, is the best transit of the month for anything that needs precision.
The two lunations bracket Pitru Paksha exactly: the Full Moon at 4:33 am on Thursday 16 September in your eleventh house of gains, and the New Moon at 8:06 am on Thursday 30 September in your sixth house — the instant Sarva Pitru Amavasya ends and Sharad Navratri begins. Fourteen days and three and a half hours between them, and the whole of the ancestral fortnight inside. All of this is sign-level. Which of the nine Mesha padas holds your natal Moon, where Saturn and Mars sit in your own chart, and which dasha is running decide how much of it reaches you. For more, read August’s reading, what Mesha Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our Sade Sati page.
Saturn on your sign, and your ruler facing it
Whether the middle phase of Sade Sati reads as a slow grind or as the year you finally consolidate depends on which of your padas holds the natal Moon and where Saturn sits in your own chart — a sign-level reading cannot settle that.
