The 8th Lord in Each of the Twelve Houses
Houses here are whole signs: the ascendant’s sign is the 1st house, the next sign the 2nd, and so on round the zodiac. The 8th lord is the graha that rules the sign falling in the 8th, so it changes with the ascendant — Mars for Aries, Jupiter for Taurus, Saturn for Gemini, Saturn for Cancer, Jupiter for Leo, Mars for Virgo, Venus for Libra, Mercury for Scorpio, Moon for Sagittarius, Sun for Capricorn, Mercury for Aquarius and Venus for Pisces.
