The 6th Lord for Gemini Ascendant: Mars
6th house = Scorpio · lord Mars · also lord of the 11th
With Gemini rising, the 6th house is Scorpio, the 6th sign counted from Gemini, and Scorpio is ruled by Mars. So for Gemini ascendant the 6th lord is Mars, which also rules the 11th through Aries: one graha holds the 6th and the 11th together for this ascendant. The 6th is a dusthana and an upachaya, and the 11th an upachaya.
The lagna lord, Mercury, counts Mars neutral, while Mars counts Mercury an enemy: for Gemini ascendant the 1st and 6th lords do not see each other the same way. The 6th’s matters are debts and loans, service and routine and enemies; with Gemini rising they sit in Scorpio, a fixed water sign that is the 8th of the natural zodiac.
Scorpio as the 6th House of Gemini Ascendant
Scorpio exalts no graha in signs.js, so no graha is exalted in the 6th for Gemini ascendant; it debilitates the Moon at 3°, so the Moon is debilitated in the 6th. The house holds Vishakha (pada 4), Anuradha (all four padas) and Jyeshtha (all four padas), whose lords are Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury; Mars rules none of them. Opposite, across the chart, the 12th holds Taurus, ruled by Venus.
