The 7th Lord for Gemini Ascendant: Jupiter
7th house = Sagittarius · lord Jupiter · also lord of the 10th
With Gemini rising, the 7th house is Sagittarius, the 7th sign counted from Gemini, and Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter. So for Gemini ascendant the 7th lord is Jupiter, which also rules the 10th through Pisces: one graha holds the 7th and the 10th together for this ascendant. The 7th is a kendra, and the 10th a kendra and an upachaya.
The lagna lord, Mercury, counts Jupiter neutral, while Jupiter counts Mercury an enemy: for Gemini ascendant the 1st and 7th lords do not see each other the same way. The 7th’s matters are spouse or partner, marriage, business partnerships and public relations; with Gemini rising they sit in Sagittarius, a dual fire sign that is the 9th of the natural zodiac.
Sagittarius as the 7th House of Gemini Ascendant
Sagittarius exalts no graha in signs.js, so no graha is exalted in the 7th for Gemini ascendant, and it debilitates none. Opposite, across the chart, the 1st holds Gemini, ruled by Mercury.
