• 18 November 2027 to 27 December 2027 — 39 days, after which Mars moves on to Capricorn.

Mars also combusts: within 17° of the Sun — the widest orb of any graha. A combust Mars in Sagittarius is read as weakened whatever the dignity above says, which is the standard case where the textbook verdict and the actual sky disagree.
