Taurus Ascendant: The Twelve Houses and Their Lords
The houses here are whole signs. With Taurus rising, Taurus is the 1st house, Gemini the 2nd, and so on round to Aries as the 12th; the lord of each house is the ruler of its sign. For Taurus ascendant Saturn (the 9th and 10th) holds a kendra and a trikona other than the 1st together. The three dusthanas, the 6th, 8th and 12th, are held by Mars, Jupiter and Venus. Rahu and Ketu lord no house in this scheme for any ascendant.
